In his mind, he was ready with an explanation. Maybe he could recreate the moment. Make her stand in his position with the camera. Make her see it through the camera lens of what he had seen. HMM. Maybe that should work.

She was most probably considering him as a pervert. Oh boy.

When she said 'no'. Orlando was sort of sure - she wasn't that certain on her answer. The only reason he had so dumbly asked her 'if he was suppose ta fancy her?' was because well .. she was a girl. And he didn't know how their minds worked. Orlando had been quite certain, this girl like Emery would have taken offense on him not 'fancying' her.

Upon hearing her speak again, he nodded. "I wasn't really going anywhere .. was just .. mmm" he paused, looking around for a moment. "Would you like to try?" he motioned toward his camera.

Beck looked around he had to meet Lexi. Lexi, they had been awesome friends. Well until now he wasn't sure of his feelings for her yet. Were they just friends or something more? Well he sure as hell didn't know. Frown. Beck took in a deep breath and let it out slowing he made his way to Lexi and tapped her on the shoulder and kissed her on the cheek. "Bonjour love." Beck said sweetly. He laughed slightly and smiled at her in one of his cute smiles.

Alexa jumped a little. She felt smooth, soft lips touch her flawless face and smirked. It just had to be Beck becuase he was the only guy that got joy out of scaring the hell out of her. Lexi laughed and smiled at him. He was the only guy that gave her butterflies. Why was that? Then he spoke and she lost all train of thought and just stared at him. "Hello Beck." Lexi said in her American accent. "How are you? Are you glad to be back at Howarts?" Lexi askd him.

Beck looked at her and smiled. He thought for a slight moment and looked back at Lexi. She was one of the most beautiful girls in the whole world. She just was. Beck snapped out of his little daydream about Lexi and looked at the stone ground and put his hazel green eyes on Lexi's beautiful brown eyes. "I'm great. I've been great since I came back from Greece." Beck told her. Beck nodded. "I'm really happy to be back at Hogwarts really." Beck told her. "So how are you liking Hogwarts so far?" Beck asked her. It was his turn to ask the questions. "How are you?" Beck asked her.

Lexi let out a sweet sounding sigh. She looked awy from Beck and out past him. His eyes were beautiful. They were differnt from anyone's eye color unless you were his sister Melrose but she didn't matter she had left and left her brother take her place. Lexi was glad he was here and he made her hapy even if they would her date. "I'm really loving Hogwarts. I'm glad I'm here and I just get to stay away from my crazy family. You know?" Alexa told him. "I'm her good and I'm glad you're great." Lexi said with a big flirt smile.

Alex smiled with a hint of pride showing, of course the girls were in great hands. "I'll protect them with my life." he winked. Alright that was actually the truth. "I'll keep my owl close to me then so I can send one off quickly." he chuckled. Because both Fee and Emma sure knew how to make trouble... They were Slytherin's after all. Smirk.

"Really? That's great." he grinned widely.

Alex wiggled his eyebrows at Emma. "Ah really it does? You think I'm charming eh? Go on you can say it." he laughed teasing her. "Of course your name suits you too." If their nicknames didn't suit them then they wouldn't be called that then would they? Emma sure was a fair maiden.

"I know, I'm planning on a lot of cake." he chuckled rolling his eyes at himself. Oooh he was older than her! Na nana na naaaa. "July? Then you're so little my whittle Partner, aaaw." he teased and petted her head twice slightly patronizing.

He smirked wickedly. "Why thank you fair maiden." he winked. Then he watched her trying to fix her hair. He shrugged. "It's my trademark along with the eyebrow wiggle it's not unfair." he protested. "Of course it looks okay." he rolled his eyes. Wheeen would girls get that they always looked pretty? Pff, typical girls not to see the obvious.

The Charming Prince of Slytherin laughed and shrugged. "Yeah I don't think she'll change her mind actually." he laughed. Oh well, at least he had Emma. His Partner. Whoop!

Emma blushed and rolled her eyes. "Fine.. Okay, so you're charming. And plus, you have half the girls older and younger than you at Hogwarts falling head over heels for you." she pointed out mater of factly. She could actually list all the girls. Emma smiled. "Aww thanks partner," she added, smiling at his compliment.

Ooh cake sounded good.. and that made Emma a little more hungrier. "Lot's of cake? Count me in! But we would have to work out afterwards on the Quidditch pitch!" she added with a smirk, rubbing her hands together. MUhahaha.. Emma had such a sweet tooth. Oh no he didn't. He was teasing her about being older. Putting her hands on her hips, she glared at the sky for a minute before smirking back at him. "Yeah.. I know I'm little in age but I'm almost your height and I'm pretty mature." she pointed out with a Malfoy smirk.

"Why you are welcome Charming prince!" she added, winking back at him. She smirked her Malfoy smirk back at him. "All right. So you have the hair ruffle and the wiggling eyebrows as your trademarks. Then I have smirking as mine." she said, teasingly. Okay, good at least her hair looked okay. She smiled.

She giggled. "Oh well." she said. Oh well that was Sel. She smiled and then her smile turned into a frown as she remembered what was happening at the end of the year. "Sel's leaving this year." she said sadly. She was going to be in tears at the end of this year. Sel, Rex, and Trixie were leaving. Pout. Hopefully she'd still have her partner in crime.

The fact that Fee was blushing made Kita smile even more. It seemed as though Fee had been caught red-handed. Kita couldn't help thinking that this was an evil laugh moment. But she wasn't that mean. "Well, i can't help it," she said, knowing fully well that she was probably being cheeky, "Aw! Don't worry hun! You'll get another chance. He'll ask again." Otherwise this Hugo guy is going to get some serious talking to. "Did he ask you out?" she asked, quite intrigued. Yeah, she was being a bit... up-front but that's the only way you can get answers right? "Yeah, i have," she said, getting a little embarrassed, "I know that. I just usually see you with guys." Or something like that. And it seemed as though the the giggle bug had not just infected the two of them, but was taking over. Kita couldn't breathe properly from laughing too much but that didn't matter; laughter is the best medicine.

Lara smiled at Freya “Maybe they changed the rules , who knows?!” Lara said “By the way did you see there have been few changes in the staff” Lara told Freya “Like charms” she said “The new teacher seems to be nice as well as our previous Professor” she said “But it feels more comfortable when being with a professor who you already know, But change is good too, it kills the routine!” Lara said excitedly. One of the most things that she hates is routine! Good they made some changes.

Alex raised his eyebrows at his Partner and then started laughing. "Younger and older girls like me?" he smirked and poked her side. Now she would have to dish on the girl's dormitory talks. What was this aboout? "Do enlighten me Fair Maiden of Slytherin." he winked.

He grinned at her and nodded. "It's a deal. First lots of cake and then we'll work out." he grinned wider. Wasn't she the best or what? Yes, yes she was. "Not to mention of course I'll totally beat you in a round of Quidditch." Oh yeahhh. The Slytherin boy straightened up and shook his head at her. "No way are you as tall as me, I'm a guy. It's my job to be taller than girls." he winked. "Mature; yes. Taller; no freaking way."

Emma's trademark was so the smirk, and not just any smirk The Malfoy smirk. Priceless. "Fine, you have the evil smirk and I'll have the evil eyebrow wiggle. Like those cliché villains in muggle movies." he beamed. Awesome. They made the perfect match. Watch it world.

He saw her sad expression and frowned, one thing he hated most in the whole world was his friends sad. Especially one of his closest ones like Emma. Alex quickly took a step closer to her putting one arm around her shoulders. ."I know she told me." he murmured. With a gentle squeeze of her shoulders he sighed. "But... Well if it's of any consolation; I'll be here." he said trying to cheer her up with a boyish grin growing.

Emma giggled and nodded. "Well.. " she began the long story. "A lot of firsties and seconds. A fair amount of thirds, fourths, and fifths too." she explained. "I think you know a lot of them." she added, smiling.

She nodded. "Good deal. Beat me in a round in Quidditch!? Well well, we'll see about that, Alexbear." she added with a smirk. She was going to beat him or maybe they would have a tie. She giggled at what he told her and winked back at him. "And then after the cake and the game of Quidditch, we'll take over the world!" she exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.

She laughed and kept laughing for a long time. "Yes! Exactly! With your wiggling of your eyebrows and my evil smirk, everyone will be afraid." exclaimed Emma. She was so happy to have such an awesome partner. No one could ever beat Alex.

Emma wanted to cry. Her best friend, Sel, was leaving. She pouted, a tear rolled down her cheek very slowly. To hide the tear and because she needed a hug, she hugged her partner in crime, Alex tightly. "Thanks Alex, that does make me feel better. Knowing that I'll have you and Fee.." she gave him a soft smile.

....... Whaaaaat?

Jim just kind of stared, then he spoke up quietly but still firmly, not all that shaken by Marie's little tears there.

Really, if you could live through a Neptune Bott tanty then this wasn't so bad at all.

"I told you I wasn't gonna be long. And you know if you were really that bothered, you could have come over and said hi and introduced yourself you know. Its really not a big deal. I don't really know your friends either you know, aside from the two crazy ones that want to murder me or snog me or whatever."

Obviously thats where the hate came from. Obviously.

"And I don't have any plans to cheat on you. That'd be like cheating myself more than anything and you might not think so but I totally do have scruples and besides that, I like you Marie." Despite the dramatics which he hadn't expected from her at all. What happened to simple and easy and fun?

And then more staring. He had answers but no desire to get into a THING of any sort. Emotional stuff, in Jim's opinion, SHOULD be kept separate. If it was baggage and stuff from the past then especially so. Which was why he didn't want to talk about his own... stuff.

"..... let me know when you're done with all this." Mr. emotionally unavailable added quietly, meaning the tears and sulking and all. He stood up, and eyed the little kid that had kicked that ball at him.

Maybe he shoulda pretended like it was bad enough that he needed to go see the hot nurse or something, but no. James was willing enough to make an exit without any excuse other than his own words.

He gathered his things up, but left his Ravie robes there, since Marie was still sitting on them and all.

"I hope it won't be too long." He added sincerely and then headed back up to the castle.

Fletcher liked getting outdoors, breathing in fresh air, seeing real sunshine, talking to people, and all that other good stuff. So it was no surprise that he was just aimlessly wandering the pathways with a few peanuts in his pocket, shelling them and eating them as he ambled along, looking for nothing and no one in particular.

It was just a fine, fresh fall day. Fine fall day for some nuts.

Alex laughed and shook his head. "You're so weird. That is so not true." Alright, so Alex had a lot of friends who were girls but no way did they like him as more than a friend. Right. Right?

"Alexbear?" he repeated. In secret he liked that. He grinned at her. "You think I'm like a huge teddy bear or something?" he laughed. Well he was famous for his big comfortable bear hugs so why not.

MWAHA, world domination here they come! He matched her grin with one of his own. "We really will be the best rulers ever." he mused. They could make up rules like everyone had to love them of course everyone already did and that everyone would worship them yet another thing everyone already did, mwaha. Evil indeed.

The worst thing that could ever happen to Alex, was to see someone he really cared about sad. He instantly threw his arms around her hugging her tightly. He rested his chin on the top of her head and sighed. "I'm really sorry." he murmured. "Of course you'll have me and Fee. Always, partner."

Iris sighed and walked around the grounds. She looked up, over towards the Quidditch pitch where the flying lesson was going on. Sometimes she hated herself for this bloody phobia... Making a mental note to talk to Aaron later about it, Iris pulled her scarf closer to her. The air was really cold, but for some reason, the prefect wanted to go wandering out on the grounds.

It still didn't seem real to her that she'd been at this castle for nearly five and a half years... She didn't have a clue what she was going to do in two years time, either.

Fee smiled at her best friend widely. She couldnt help it, this was probably the best day of her life and everyone should know that the girl wanted to hug the world."Kitaaaaaaaa",the blonde giggled,"iiiiii am taken now."Yes, it was true Hugo Doyle had asked her to become his girlfriend and the Slytherin coulsnt sit still for one moment.Her life was soooo amazing.Fee giggled when she nopticed her bestie was slighty embarrassed about all this."Dont worry i really hang with guys often",she laughed,"i dont know why but i got to know so many lately."The Slytherin had no idea why but she liked the fact.Smiling to herself Fee noticed once again how much fun it was to hang with Kita.They always laughed so much together and sharing all those fun memories was just amazing.

"Yeah maybe" Freya nodded her head. "Oh yeah. There are a lot of new faces in the staff." she said. "The charms Professor is really nice and his first lesson was really fun too." not to mention that he's a very good looking Professor. "And we also had a new Divination Professor too." she said. "Yeah. I hope they didn't change the staff so often. I'm not really a big fans of changes." she laughed. "Oh did you notice the man sat next to Tate at the beginning of term feast?" she asked.

Emma laughed. "I assure you its true.." she added, with a grin and sighed. She could name many of their names.... Cough.. cough.

"I think it's perfect!" she exclaimed, smiling sweetly and she poked his shoulder softly. It suited Alex.. perfectly, because once you got to know Alex, you realise that he's a really a soft, sweet guy that once to takes over the world and pull pranks. She thought about his teddy bear comment. "Maybeee? Yep, I do." she said, giggling, twirling her hair.

Muhahahaha.. "High five partner!" she exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. The best rulers in the world. So they would eat cake, play Quidditch, and have people love them. That seemed like a pretty good life to Emm. She raised her hand so that he would give her a high five.

Emma smiled softly as her best guy friend and partner in crime hugged her tightly back. He was a good hugger, exactly like a huge teddy bear. She looked up at him and wiped the tear from her eye. She sighed, "Aww, Alex. It's okay It's just going to be a long last day of term this year. I'm going to need several tissue boxes" she began, laughing at the tissue box bit, and then Emma paused. "[B]Thanks and you and Fee will have me with you too always. Whenever your sad, just tell me and I'll be there." she said, with a small smile. She would see Sel again.. she hoped.

"We need to do something fun.. like come up with our own Quidditch team!" she exclaimed, smiling brightly.

She could have gone over and introduced herself? "I didn't go over to introduce myself because I didn't think you wanted me over there. Besides, I didn't want you to think I was a clingy, needy girlfriend who gets jealous just because her boyfriend talks to another girl. I thought it would be better if I told you how I was feeling later, you know when your friends weren't around." Apparently though it didn't matter how she felt because as he said, he wasn't going to change how he was for her. "You may think Destiny and Evelyn are crazy but at least you know them. And you know more of my friends than just those two. You know Mia and Salander and I did introduce you to Evan and Mina." He must have forgotten about them though since he was only focusing on her She-Snake friends. "The only friend of yours I know is Finlay and that's only because I ran into him on the train." It seemed if Marie wanted to get to know any of his friends she was going to have to introduce herself to all of them.

He didn't have plans of cheating on her? "Then why did you even bother saying that to me? Do you enjoy hurting me?" Because that's what he was doing here. He may not realize it but his words, joking or not were hurtful.

He was just going to get up and leave her there? And what the hell was that supposed to mean, '..... let me know when you're done with all this.'? Done with all of what... being someone who actually has feelings? Well if that's the case then James Wilkes was going to be waiting a long time because she couldn't just shut off her feelings like they were a muggle light switch.

Tears still running down her face Marie watched as James walked away from her. Once he was out of sight she buried her face in her knees and continued to cry. All she had wanted to do was for her and James to talk... to get things out in the open about things that were happening with both of them. It seems the only thing she accomplished here today was to push him away and find out that he really doesn't care about her feelings at all. Maybe she should just go hibernate in her dorm room. Then she won't have to worry about pushing anyone away from her.

Drying her tears she stood up, grabbed Jimmy's robes and went back up to the castle.

Sadie had felt in the need for some fresh air. It had been a few days since she had gotten back and was trying to stay on the down-low because she didn't really want people to know she was back. Somehow she ended up on the pathways...

The girl walked along and looked around at the leaves that were beginning to fall off. That only meant snow would be coming sooner. A cold breeze suddenly swept through and made the trees shake and leaves pick up. She crossed her arms against her chest and kept walking. Brrr...

She started walking faster and the wind blew again, whipping the leaves up once more and her hair blew in her face. Ugh. Why didn't she decide to put it up? Suddenly she ran straight into someone in front of her. Ooops.

"Sorry!" she exclaimed, pulling her hair back from her face. This is what she got!

Harper liked the pathways. Yes she did. It reminded her a little bit of the Wizard of Oz, only minus that sketchy feeling and the apple throwing trees. And she didn't have a lion, tin, or straw/hay friend. Or a dog for that matter. Nope, she had a pygmy puff perched on her shoulder instead. ANDDDD it was better than Toto cause it didn't bark. So ha.

She looked up at the trees, whistling a little happy tune, and walking slowly so she didn't tip over. She whisked a piece of her hair away so she could keep her eyes on the trees and the sky. It was quite the miracle that she indeed did not fall over.

Iris sighed and watched a very cheerful ginger girl wandering around. Her whistling was almost contagious.

Honestly, how could anyone seem so cheerful at a time when it was so cold, with so much homework and a boyfriend that seemed more interested in his Quidditch team than his girlfriend? ... Okay. Maybe Iris was the only one with THAT problem, but still. It didn't seem fair.

Even though she wanted to, Iris didn't disturb the girl. No point ruining someone else's fun just because of your own misfortune.

Harper heard a sigh. A sigh. A SIGH? Was that a sad sigh? A depressed sigh? A mad sigh? Harper was wayy too nosy to not look down from the sky to set her eyes on a girl a bit older than herself.

She stopped whistling abruptly to smile at her. She could not do both at once. It was impossible for her. "You okay, there?" she asked curiously. Okay, more like NOSILY. Nosy nosy!

Iris blinked and looked just past the girl as she noticed Iris was there. Y'know, so it didn't look like she was looking AT the girl. Iris didn't want the red head to think that Iris was weird.

Raising her eyebrows, Iris nodded. "Yeah. I'm... fine." She said, smiling back at the girl. She couldn't just NOT smile back. It's like they're contagious. "Why... why do you ask?" The prefect asked, with a curiously questioning tone to it.

Harper stuck her hands in her pockets and rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet. Or...shoes. Whatever.

"Oh...that's good." Fine was good, right? Fine was fine. "Oh, just because...well, people who sigh usually have a reason. Unless that wasn't you. Only I could swear it was a girl's sigh. That doesn't mean another girl couldn't have sighed, though." Harper shrugged. She did not need to delve that far into the sigh, she supposed. "I just wondered if there was a reason, and if it was an upsetting reason." she gave her another small smile. "But then again I suppose you could just randomly sigh for no reason at all." It was possible.
