Elektra stopped in her place and heard a voice that brought a smile to her face. Elektra turned around seeing Derian jog his way over to her and she let go of her necklace and smiled. "Hey. I was actually going to sneak my way towards tryouts to take a peek, but then again I didn't want to get detention and spend time in a dungeon." she said joking around. "How did the tryouts go for you?"

"Ha! I have to admit, it would have been fun to see a Slytherin sneak on the pitch to watch a Gryffindor fly." He smiled at her and held out his hand for her to grab, "And tryouts went well. I didn't make a fool of myself... and, it actually turns out I have some sports-related instincts as well. Who knew?" He stuffed his other hand in his pocket.

"How's life with you and Selina and... Violet? Is that her name? I haven't really interacted with her much yet... I know you guys are completely inseparable." It was an understatement. Elektra, Selina, and Violet were practically attached at the hip.

"Don't give me ideas. I might sneak over to the next tryouts for fun. I'll just have to borrow some on Selina's clothes." Elektra chuckled and grabbed his hand and she smiled. "That's good. See I'm not really that great of a flyer- ok I'll admit I've never flown on a broom before and I'm scared too so Quidditch is jut not my thing." She shrugged. "Selina and Violet are good. I somehow managed to sneak away from them because if I stay around them long enough I start to go bonkers." she said with a slight chuckle. "The three of us together don't equal one brain."

Oh. Right. Parke hadn't even introduced himself yet. He frowned slightly, trying to figure out how to do it. Everyone thought it weird that he didn't use his first name. He just wasn't comfortable with that. He made a half sort of compromise with himself and said, "I'm a fifth year. And my name is Parke Galludett Ives, though I'm generally referred to as Mr. Ives. I prefer not to use my given name." There. Hopefully that wouldn't require him to provide further explanation.

Hmm...it seemed there was an abundance of parental units in favor of home schooling. "What was it that made him decide to allow you a formal education then", he asked curiously. He found this home schooling thing more interesting every time he heard of it. Of course, this was only the second time so that wasn't saying much.

Hollian? "I'm afraid I haven't heard of it. I'm originally from America and I happen to be geographically ignorant, I'm afraid." He gave the boy a polite nod when he said he'd go jogging with him. Another jogging partner! He started stretching out his legs, starting with a general calf stretch.

He laughed and shook his head, "Huff-puff! I was terrified when I first flew. That was the day I flipped myself over and almost panicked. My brother and Chris had to talk me down. Since then, I became determined to master flying. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm okay at it... I'll be better when I have a better broom. The ones at the school fail."

He stepped so that he was a little closer to Elektra as they walked, "And I am glad you found a way to escape your friends for the moment, dreamy lady, because I like spending time with you alone." His voice became huskier with the sentiment and a smile meant just for her spread across his face.

She really was quite beautiful, and her eyes simply captivated him. He never knew that such a pretty shade of green even existed. As he looked at her, her features suddenly stood out in stark relief from their surroundings, making the grounds seems colorless and uninteresting by comparison. He also perceived her unique scent for the first time--it was an exotic, spicy smell that provoked a confused jumble of emotions within him. He had to blink and focus his gaze elsewhere; the sudden intensity of his emotions almost made him forget how to breathe properly.

He slid his hand out of his pocket and ran it through is hair. It had to be the cycle.

Elektra saw Derian step a little closer to her and her emerald green gazed up at him. When they were together she would think of nobody else but Derian. She would forget about all of her troubles and everything else when she was around him. She tilted her head to the side when he looked somewhere else and she raised her eyebrow slightly. "Hey you ok Derian?"

"Y-yes. I just got inexplicably nauseous for a second..." He swallowed and grinned weakly hoping his excuse would work, "But... its passing. Must have been some kind of delayed nerves from the tryout catching up with me." He breathed carefully, anxious about his sudden sensitivity to her smell. Growing up, he had always had an extremely good sense of smell, and he had learned to sift out the scents that accosted his nose so that he would not be overwhelmed by them. He recalled that ability now.

Maybe it was his proximity to Elektra that was exacerbating his condition... that, and his obvious admiration of the girl.

Wanting to change the subject, he focused instead on Elektra's necklace, "Hey... is that necklace new?" He tilted his head in a way that was reminiscent of a puppy and grinned, "I never noticed it on you before. It's pretty!"

Elektra thought for a moment nd the smelled herself for a second hoping it wasn't the perfume she was wearingthat smelld bad and made him nauseous and then saw how he quickly noticed her necklace and she held t up in her free hand. "My father gave it to me when I was three. It's our family crest. I haven't taken it off since."

Fee chuckled at the expression on her bestie's face when she mentioned Hugo.Hadnt she mentioned him before?!Mhhh that was weird,But they kinda had a friendship break so thats probably why."Ohh yeah Hugo Doyle,second year Ravenclaw.",she explained. Not to mention current crush."Turns out i almost jave more guy friends then girls",the blonde laughed a little.She only had like 2 more girlfriends.Weird huh?!Waaaaiiiit what did Kita want so say with "eventful"?."Oh no no noooooo",the girl shook her head,"we are just close friends nooo couple."Why did everyone think they were? Even Kita who didnt know Hugo.Woow."How is it with the boys?",the Slytherin asked smiling,"any news?"Ahhh come on there has to be right?!

Now Kita understood. "Oh! He's in the same year as you!" she said, "Interesting..." She knew she was being a bit... mysterious and well, annoying but that came in the besties' job description. Right? She started laughing. "I'm not surprised," she said. Close friends eh? "Ok then," she said, "I believe you." Yeah, cos Fee would tell her right? The question Fee asked would have made Kita laugh. But not now. She sighed; trying to make her answer as dramatic as possible. "I'm not going to lie to you. The search has been fruitless," she said, trying to keep her face straight. The urge to laugh was overpowering her.

Simon looked at Parke. "Well Mr. Ives." Simon smiled. "I have no idea why my father changed his mind, all I know is that my Uncle and my father talked about something then he changed his mind and said that I was coming here, there was no explanation just me coming into England three years ago, I haven't even been back to Hollian, I spend my holidays in London." Simon sighed. "I am hoping to go back next year though." Simon wondered if the place will have changed much.

Simon wondered where they were going to jog too but he decided not to ask, he just started to do his warm up and wait to see where they were heading. "Well Hollian is a small island, I'll show you were it is on a map someday." Simon promised.

Parke nodded his understanding. Fathers were like that, it seemed. His father offered vague explanations at best, and then only when he was feeling particularly generous. "I'll be spending the summer in London after this term. Easier just to stay I suppose." That wasn't entirely true. Parke was supposed to schmooze with important people. Parke hadn't quite figured out why is father thought any kind of important people would want to talk to a 15 year old boy. "Is it nice? London?"

And he was warmed up. "I was just going to jog along the path a bit. Alright?" He assumed it was and started a light jog. He wasn't sure how adept this boy was at running. Then something re-entered his mind. "What exactly did this Slytherin boy do to you? The one at the feast?" It must have been something serious to warrant such a hostile attitude to an entire house.

Emma beamed a smile back at him. He seemed a little happier now. That was a good sign, indeed. She giggled. "That's better. There's a smile." she explained, nudging him back. Hmm.. but he did still seem a little upset. She thought that she already knew the problem.. She guessed that it had something to do with the Knight of Gryffindor and a fellow Slytherin. She decided that she wouldn't bug him about it until later. That would be better. She smirked the famous smirk.

And the smirk turned into a smile. "Aww.. Really? I feel loved. That's sweet Alex! I have missed you too!" she exclaimed. She laughed. She liked how he put it. The world of Emma Malfoy. Hmm.. the Universe of Emma Malfoy..? Hmm..
"Oh just saving the world, but I think I'll need my partner to help." she began with a mysterious smirk playing on her lips. She shook her head and laughed. "No, I really was just visiting some old friends, catching up with cousins, meeting new people, and homework. What's up in the Universe of Alexander Reed?" she asked with a playful smirk on her lips.

"I see... well, like I said, its very pretty."

It was evident that his excuse hadn't really worked. Derian mentally sighed. He supposed that he should have expected problems like this to arise, but (call him naive) he did not. It was not his intention to keep what he was a secret from Elektra, but he couldn't exactly go telling people that he was a half-lycan and expect them to be just fine with the revelation. On the contrary, anyone he told would probably run away from him with the impression that he would eat them and their family.

Derian's cheeriness dissipated some.

"I agree," he started, "We'll duel some other time, yes?" Cedric smiled. Hopefully Lexi would like that offer.

Abraxan Stables! He liked magical creatures and the magical creatures teacher herself even though she may be mean sometimes. "Sure." Going to the CoMC place was just perfect. He'd like to see the feisty professor and do something fun at the same time. He bet Lexi would enjoy going there as well? It was she who suggested the place anyway.

Freya walked down trough the pathways. She took a deep breath and exhaled softly. Inhaled. Exhaled. Inhaled. Exhaled. Oh. Fresh air. She really loved fresh air especially at this time of month. It wasn't really cold and not hot either. She could see the leaves are beginning to change color. It's simply beautiful, she wished that she bring her camera along with her. She walked around to enjoy the scenery of the pathways maybe she could meet some of her friends here. Who knows, right?

It was such a beauitful day, Lara was wandering on the dungeons she forgot what was she doing..... maybe she wanted to go to the library fr a book or something like that! However she changed her mind and walked randomly into the pathway as she saw a fimiliar face...it was her friend Freya "Hey Freya!" she called out "What are you doing here? wandering around like myself?" she winked.

Freya turned around when she heard someone calling out her name. It was Lara! "Lara. Hey." she hugged her friend. "Yeah. I was just wondering around here and I really need some fresh air." she chuckled. "Where have you been?" she asked. "I haven't seen you around."

good then it wasn't just Lara lurking around, Freya was too! Aww it was really lovely to see Freya, Lara enjoys her time very much when she's with her "You're totally right, we haven't seen each other since we were in.....Madam Malkin's I suppose?!" she said "Well I haven't been staying at the common room much, I don'r want to miss these beautiful days" she smiled.

Lara look around as students were passing by "So we're back again, lessons homework..." she said "How's your second year going on? anything interesting?!" she asked

Alex noticed the system in Emma's brain working and working. She knew something! Le gasp. "What's with the little smirk?" he asked slightly suspicious. He knew her too well to hide something like that from him. Come on partner, spit it out.

"Saving the world?" he laughed. "Yes you need your partner to help you with that. Superman." he grinned. Oh yes he could be superman! Dun, dun, dunnnn. "Homework?" That sounded dead boring. That was dead boring. Ugh, it gave him a headache just thinking about that. "Poor you." he hadn't done any homework. Yet...

The Slytherin boy raised one eyebrow with a smirk. "Universe of Alexander Reed..." he mused. Sounded so totally awesome. Like he owned the universe or something. Which he would do someday. "Not much, getting some new friends, seeing some old ones, getting an enemy, getting a date you know that kind of stuff." he winked.

She smiled. "A smirk?" she asked innocently. It was so hard to hide anything from Alex! It was like he was a mind reader or something.. She giggled and then became serious. "Well I know why you were or are a bit upset. I saw the whole thing happen. Some guys are just extremely territorial.." she explained. Like my ex boyfriend, she thought. Thank goodness her ex had gone back to Beauxbatons otherwise Sel would have beaten him up.

She lightened up and nodded her head, laughing. "Yes, I do need my partner to help me save the world! Yes, you could be Superman. We just need to find you a superman outfit for Halloween." she said with a huge grin on her face. She nodded. "Bleh. Homework.. Yes, poor me, indeed. But it's not too hard.. yet." she told him.

Emma saw the smirk Alex had on his face. That was a good, evil, cunning smirk, indeed. If Emma rated smirks, then Alex would have gotten an 8.9 out of 10. She grinned as he repeated the phrase again. She was going to be the ruler of the Universe one day! She smirked again and then once again it turned into a smile. "Ooh! A date!? Aww, Awesome! With who?? You have to tell me everything!" she said, literally jumping up and down. This was VERY EXCITING!!!

She knew? Alex widened his eyes slightly and groaned inwards. Great. Juust great. Would he lose her as a friend now because Rex hated him? Merlin whyyy are you doing this to Alliealex?! He nodded and looked away at some firsties. "Territorial? The guy hasn't even met me." Hold on, yes he had! Rex had met him and liked him, all of the sudden he hated him. Which was weird, he hadn't done anything to hurt Rex, at least not that he knew of. "He can do whatever really. But I don't like that he goes around saying I would put Fee in detention. I would never do that to her." Fee was his best friend, why in Merlin's beard would he do anything like that to her? What if Fee would believe Rex? What then? He ran a hand through his hair in agravation before shrugging it off. "Sorry, it's not like me to be all gloomy." he said and tried on a smile. It wasn't like him to be gloomy, emotional or sensitive. At least no one knew that he was. Only Fee knew that perhaps... He wasn't as macho as he tried to be.

A superman outfit? He grinned boyishly. "I haven't worn a Superman outfit since I was five, Em." he laughed. That would be so cool and yet... So nerdy. "Then you can be Superwoman, we can match and start our world domination." he laughed again. Really, they were so cool.

Oh right, Emma was a girl, which meant he shouldn't have mentioned the date. Now she would get all lovey-dovey and Alex would have to mention Ellie. Whenever he talked about her, he got all nervous and out of control. That wasn't a good side of him at all. "Yeah I got a date." he grinned. "Um, with Ellie Johanson. I don't know if you know her she's a fourth year." Yeah that's right, he had a date with an older girl. Sucess. "And she's in Ravenclaw." She was his Ravenclaw, and she was the prettiest one. Uh-huh, that's right. "Tell you everything?" Luckily Alex didn't know how to blush, otherwise he would have been seen from miles away, such a red face he would have. He scraped his foot in the ground and scratched his neck. "What do you mean by everything?" Everythng being like he thought of Ellie 24/7? Heh.

" Alex, I misjudged you" Rex told him. " you are great to Fee and to my "fake'sis" Emma" Rex said to Alex. " I guess we got off on the wrong foot" Rex explained to Alex. " The only reason I got upset is because Fee called you her best freind and ever since she started HogWarts Fee has been my best female friend and I was her best male friend so I got jealous of your close relationship" Rex did more explaining to Alex. " Friend?" Rex asked him as he held out his hand to shake Alex's.

She sighed. She got the problem. "Psh.. Don't worry Rex has always been like that. He does? Wow.. I know you would never, I believe you Alex and so does Fee." she said. Fee had dated her cousin Edmond last year and she knew and liked Fee a lot. "Hmm.. I think he just needs to learn that people can be friends who they want to be friends with." she explained. She nudged him. "It's okay..But not everyone's happy or hyper 24/7. Sorry for bringing it up." she said.

She laughed, glad that they were moving on to a different topic. She smiled and giggled. "Aww.." she began, imaging a cute little five year old boy dressed up as Superman jumping off a bed. That was too cute. Superwoman? Ahaha.. Her parents would so ground her for trying on muggle stuff but she didn't care one bit. "Yes! World Domination!" she exclaimed throwing her arms in the air, sillily. "We are awesome.."

She grinned. "With Ellie? Aww that's adorable. Yep, I know her. Well, we met by the Courtyard a couple of days ago. She's nice and extremely pretty! I bet all the Ravenclaw boy's are jealous!" she added with a wink. Aww that was just too cute. She poked him softly on his elbow. She giggled. "Not everything.. You don't have too. I mean like..how did the date go? Terribly? Really Well? Excellent? Amazing?" she asked. Aha, now she could tease Alex about Ellie. Cuteeee. She took her camera out of her bag. "Smile!" she exclaimed and snapped a quick picture. Alex was way too cute.

Rex was saddened to hear that his 'fake sis" Emma thinks he is bad. "What did I ever to do you but be nice?" Rex asked Emma."Do I really act that bad way?' Rex asked her. "Sorry, if you do not like your "fake brother" anymore" Rex sighed and then a tear fell from his face. " I guess there is no more"Fair maiden of Slytherin for "The Knight of Gryffindor to save' Rex told Emma. Rex bowes and started to walk away.
