Nulu looked at him and nodded and smiled. "Not that kind of fighting, fighting as keep going." Nulu told him making fist then lowering her hand. she sighed. "I'm sorry, I," Nulu looked at him. "Senpai I kept you from where ever you where headed I am so sorry." Nulu bowed a little. "I need to head tot he library i need to learn a few defensive spells." she mumbled to herself. Back to the library at this rate I won't be able to make new friends...

Simon was walking down the pathway, his mind was on loads of things, he wasn't thinking about where he was going, saying that he wasn't even looking to see if there was anyone there, he was miles about thinking about going home for the first time in three years when the School broke up for summer holidays.

Simon didn't notice this boy and he walked straight into him, Simon was about to appologise when he realised that it was a Slytherin and he was still upset after what that Slytherin had said at the start of term feast. "You should watch where your going." Simon knew it was his fault but he was blaming the Slytherin anyway.

*Matty nodded and gave her a warm smile.*
"Sounds like a good idea. Remember if you need anything just ask. I'll be around."

Nulu nodded and sighed. "I shall, thank you once more." she said and was heading off when she saw Josh and her eyes widened. "um I think I will go in that direction." she said pointing and headed somewhere else. Great all I needed, him here. I wish he would leave me alone "Bye senpai." she said and ran off. This is turning to be strange I want it to be back to normal, hey i rather have my biological sister try to kill me than deal with boys

*He saw the change in her and raised an eyebrow.*
"Umm... okay?"
*He hadn't seen the other boy so Matty just shrugged and went off to the lake for his things.*

Parke was shaken out of his thoughts by a sudden jolt to his person. What the? He whirled around and took notice of a younger boy. He held back a sigh and prepared himself to accept the boy's apology.

Here it came. The boy was opening his mouth to speak. Now he would just - WHAT?! The nerve!

"I sympathize with the fact that you're clearly a bit daft, but surely even you could figure this out. I was standing here, stationary. You were in motion. You walked into me. Clearly, you are the one who needs to watch where he's going. Or perhaps it's customary for you to walk into strangers. Is that the only way you can get people to speak to you?" He spoke in a mockingly polite tone to this obviously troubled and deluded boy.

Simon looked at the Slytherin he was glad that he hadn't appologise when the Slytherin boy started talking. "Do you know who you are talking to?" Simon asked then realised that of course this person wouldn't, Simon didn't care if the boy did look older than him. "I am Simon Leonarder De Simpson." Simon smiled. "Someone who never bumps into people." Simon wanted to shout but decided against it.

"I am not daft." Simon said truthfully. "I just don't think that I should appologise to someone when I did nothing wrong." Simon lied, he knew that he had done something wrong but he wasn't going to admit that. "I have loads of friends so of course it's not."

Really?! The sheer audacity of this boy was remarkable. Clearly he hadn't a proper upbringing. To speak to someone older like this was unfathomable. This boy needed to be put in his place. And rather quickly.

"I rather don't care who you are, I'm afraid", he said nonchalantly. And it was the god awful truth so Parke almost rolled his eyes when the boy introduced himself. Almost. "Well, Mr. De Simpson", he half guessed, hoping that the 'De' was a part of the boy's last name, "Clearly you're no one of any importance, as someone worth anything would have been brought up quite a bit better than you were", he said coldly. Forget being polite. It wasn't required anyway. The boy was younger than himself.

"You're right. You aren't daft. Even a daft person would've figured out what they'd done wrong by now." The boy was clearly delusional. "Perhaps you should go see the school nurse. Be sure to let her know you're having problems with cognitive thinking", he stated, running a hand through his still damp hair. And this boy claimed to have a large number of friends. Parke couldn't see how that was possible. Again, clearly delusional.

Simon looked at this boy and stared at him. "Well for your information I am someone important, I ain't telling you how important because it wouldn't be worth my time." Simon was sure that this boy hadn't heard of Hollian and he wasn't going to tell him. "And for your information, I don't care how much older you are, you don't talk to me like that." Simon said wondered who this Slytherin boy was.

Simon was sure glad he hadn't said sorry to the Slytherin boy, he was just like all the other Slytherin boys. "Just because your in Slytherin you think that you are better than everyone." Simon wondered why he said that. "Your just like the Slytherin Boy at the start of term feast." Simon thought about leaving but then he said about seeing the nurse. "I don't need to see the school nurse." Simon looked down at his feet and waited for the Slytherin Boy to say something.

A jinx? "Ah, very well then, who jinxed you?" he asked with utmost curiosity surging through him. Wasn't it very wicked and ungentlemanly (if the one who jinxed Lexi was a man) to jinx a girl? But then again, Lexi being quite eccentric that she was or seemed, at least, could be capable of jinxing herself, no? Looks like it...

Cedric merely shrugged and nodded. Doing something fun would be well, really fun if what Lexi meant by 'fun' was doing enjoyable things, not doing you know... silly things. But sometimes doing silly things could be fun too, right? That had been proven for years. "Sure, sure. What we're gonna do?"

Lexi smiled and giggled once. "Jim Wilkes. We were duelling in the defense training room... I ran off before Tate could counter the jinx for me though," she said with a feeling of utter stupidity washing over her.

"Well, what do you like to do, Cedric? What do YOU consider fun? I might want to go climb a tree or somefink... need to know if that is your style or not," she said with a grin forming on her lips. Cedric was GOING TO HAVE FUN! She was here to make sure of it! Yep.

Important. Right. Because important people routinely used colloquialisms when attempting to establish their importance. Parke yawned emphatically. He wanted this boy to understand that he was tiring of this argument. And he was. He was never one for arguing.

Huh? Slytherin? Oh, right, that house he was in. "Look", he sighed wearily, "This is my first term here so I'm not particularly attached to any house. I don't even understand the need for such a system. And the only reason I think I'm better than you is because you clearly lack any kind of etiquette at all." He briefly wondered if that house business was why the boy was being so rude. Not that it mattered. Unprovoked rudeness was never acceptable to him. Ever.

"You really aren't one to talk. You're the one who clearly finds himself too good to apologize for a simple mistake, and you, sir, are the one who has taken it upon himself to speak hostilely to a perfect stranger." Really, what were children thinking these days, pulling stunts such as these. He shifted slightly, wanting to get on with his jog. Perhaps he should have just ignored the boy.

Ooh, she dueled with a guy? That was pretty tough of her. Cedric smiled. He liked tough girls. "Ah. Have you jinxed him as well? Just for, you know, retaliation." Cedric chuckled at his own remark, amused that such a word as retaliation came out of his mouth when he couldn't even think of retaliating to people who had annoyed him way too much.

"Well, I consider duelling fun." He hinted. He'd like to duel. With anyone and he didn't care if it was Lexi. But realizing that the girl had just finished duelling with someone else, it would be a bad time for her to duel for the second time especially with someone who was exceedingly good at duelling like him. "Err, you can decided for that matter, you know. I won't mind," he said and then managed a smile, trying to sound convincing.

Lexi blinked at him a few times and her grin widened. "Are you sure you are a Hufflepuff? Talking about retaliation. That's funny. Well we were duelling... so I tried. But I am just a fifth year and he is good. Really good. And he can perform nonverbals really well, which I am not any good at yet. So he bested me... quite easily. I have a good shield and some powerful casts, but that isn't anywhere near enough. I could jinx him when he wasn't looking... for payback," she said with a rueful grin.

That was awfully Slytherin of her... it made her feel dirty. She was not the type to jinx people from behind.

"Are you saying you want to duel, Cedric?" she ask with a giggle. She would duel with him. Learning experience and all that.

Simon looked at the boy. "I was going to appologise but then I saw that you were in Slytherin and that made me mad." Simon wondered why he had been so mean to this boy, he hadn't known him before and he wouldn't normally do anything like he had.

"Look I am really sorry about bumping into you and I am really sorry if you think I am a pain and if you don't want to speak to me again I'll know why." Simon couldn't believe he had acted like the person he hated, maybe he shouldn't judge this boy against the other Slytherin Boy. "How are you enjoying being at Hogwarts?" Simon probably knew it was a dumb question, how would he like a strange to take it out on him when he was angry with someone else, he just hoped this boy wouldn't walk off.

Woah. She was a first to ever question him of his being in Hufflepuff. Of course he was!

"But at least you tried and all," was all he got to say. Hm. The guy she had duelled with must be pretty good, what with the non-verbals that he could perform. "Practice a lot. You never know what good practicing can do you," Cedric told her, mainly for encouragement.

Cedric took on a pondering air. Does he want to duel? Of course, he does but... "I'd love to but you just duelled with someone and of course, the err... we collided. Quite hard. But I'd really love to hear what you have in mind, what you consider fun and all."

Ah. Apparently that was the reason. No matter now. It was over and done with. He, however, would not be apologizing. Hopefully, the other boy didn't expect him to. "It's over and done with now", he said dismissively. He wasn't one to hold grudges either. At least not in most cases.

Ugh. Everyone seemed to want to know that. "It's different", he said simply, trying to will back his usually polite demeanor. "It'll just take some getting used to, is all. And what of yourself? Have you been at Hogwarts throughout the life of your education?"

His legs twitched slightly. He looked longingly at the path. He still wanted to run. Maybe he should excuse himself? Then, he had a better idea. "Do you run, per chance?"

Simon was glad that this boy was talking to him after all he had said and done. "I really am sorry." he couldn't believe how he had behaved. "I'm not normally like this." Simon couldn't help but add that in, hopefully the boy would know that.

"Well I was taught at home from 5 year old until I got might letter, but yeah I have been at Hogwarts since I was a first year and now I am a third year." Simon couldn't believe how the time had flown. "I must admit my parents weren't pleased when I got my letter."

Simon nearly bursted out laughing when the boy said does he run, he ran fast most of the time, he remember how he and Treyen had set a dungbomb off at the Professor office and he had legged it but went back when Treyen didn't move. "I run all the time." Simon said truthfully.

Parke nodded stiffly at the boy. He'd already forgiven him. It annoyed him to no end when people apologized over and over again. He pushed back his annoyance and instead listened to the boy speak.

"Oh, and why is that? Did your parents not want you at this particular school?" He'd never heard of parents not wanting their child to have an education. That would be horrifying.

It seemed everyone here enjoyed exercise and athleticism. That was one good thing about this school, it seemed. "I was actually in the middle of a jog. You could join me if you'd like." Of course, maybe he didn't even really want to talk to Parke. The boy apparently had many friends, after all. Something Parke couldn't say for himself.

Simon looked at the boy and realised that he hadn't even got the boys name yet, maybe the Slytherin would tell him soon. "What year you in?" Simon didn't even know that.

Simon wondered what to say next. "It wasn't just this school, they didn't want me to go to any school, they wanted me to be taught at home like my father was." Simon decided to say where he was from. "I'm from Hollian." He smiled wondering if the boy had heard of it. "My cousin also comes to this school." Simon hoped that she would turn up, he hadn't seen her for ages.

"I'd love to come jogging with you." Simon smiled. "I'll introduce you to a few of my friends soon." Simon hoped the boy wouldn't mind that after all everyone needed to have some friends.

Well duh. She was a Gryffindor... she wouldn't stop until she bested him. Or came damn close enough to say she had ALMOST taken him. That was her goal before end of term. To beat or come close to beating Jim Wilkes in a duel. "Oh I plan to. And there is no better learning experience than being beaten. You learn so much," she offered. She was not a sore loser. Except for that once. Ugh.

Giving him a shrug when he declined the duel she scratched her head between her little antlers and thought for a moment. "OooOooOo. What about the Abraxan stables?" she offered with a smile and a little bit of a bounce.

Emma was walking down the Pathways, her long blond hair bouncing at every step that she took, when her brown golden eyes spotted a familiar face. It was Alex, her fellow partner in crime, and he was obviously confused. She wondered what could be wrong. She hated seeing her friends distressed. She walked over to him with a small smile on her face and put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, partner. Why the long face? What's the matter?" she asked, worried.

Alex spotted a young girl talking to him and he flashed her a warm smile. "Why yes of course." he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I'm Alex." he introduced himself extending his hand.

Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked back at whoever disturbed his gloomy state of mind. Ah his partner. Alex instantly shone up at the sight of her. "Em, hey." he smiled widely, losing the long face when he heard her call him partner. "Me with a long face? Never." he chuckled and nudged her. Really, he was only depressed when he was alone. And he didn't want to tell Emma about his problems with the guy, the guy she knew and liked. Gulp.

"Nothing is the matter, probably sad because you weren't here." he pouted. Heh, really he instantly felt better with his partner in crime with him. "What's up in the world of Emma Malfoy?" he asked leaning back against the tree again.

Elektra walked along the Pathways. Today Derian had Quidditch tryouts and she wished she could have been there to see how he did, but she knew she couldn't. It was ok though. She was going to wait and hear how he did when she saw him. She began playing with her necklace around her neck and began to softly hum. She managed somehow to get away from Violet and Selina for a little bit so that she could have some slone time until Derian showed up.

There was a spring in Derian's step as he walked down the pathways leading back to the castle. He just gout out of Quidditch tryouts--the first of two--and he had not embarrassed himself in any way. Quite the contrary, Derian felt that he had done quite well. During the tryouts, he effortlessly kept up with Rafe, and even showed a remarkable tendency to react quickly to what was happening. As he walked, his mind was occupied with thoughts of Elektra. He had not seen her since Potions, and he really wanted to share this morning's achievements with her.

He also wanted some decent one-on-one time with her, as he had been deprived of such an opportunity since their dinner date.

He was still half-way amazed that she was interested in him and that it had happened so quickly. Back home, it would have never been so easy to find a girl worth spending more than five minutes with; and Hogwarts had such girls in spades! Although, he thought Elektra decidedly surpassed the rest.

And speak of the devil...

Derian's eyes brightened further as he noticed the girl of his thoughts, "Elektra!" He broke into a jog to catch up with her, "Hey! I just got out of tryouts and was coming to find you! Apparently, you beat me to the chase."
