| | |  The Office of Healer Lilyan Moretti
OOC Note: This thread, as well as the waiting area, is meant for non-patient meetings and greetings. If your character is ill or injured, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients then the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.
Before posting in this thread, you must first post in the waiting area for Healer Moretti's Office.
Lilyan Moretti had never been one for decorating, but when she found herself with a space that was practically begging for a personal touch, she simply could not resist.
Healer Moretti's office is warm, comfortable and might remind you of home. Along with her books, scattered potions, pictures of her son and family, and certain articles of notoriety line her shelves and desk. To the right, you will see a small table lined with many different sweets, candies, chocolates... she has a sweet tooth at times. There are a few plush chairs about, and a matching love seat, everything is in it's right and proper place, as Miss Moretti happens to have meticulous housekeeping habits.
However, do not be afraid to come in and make yourself at home, visitors are welcome and encouraged.

Her first year had been amazing, and her mother was always begging her to write home, because Lily never spent more than two minutes sitting down.

"Especially if flying lessons are mandatory," he muttered, not sure if she heard that last bit or not.

"A limit?" Lily couldn't help but giggle a little bit, "No, not exactly. You can come to the hospital whenever you're hurt, it's better to get yourself healed by a professional then to let it get worse, dear." She smiled at him and nodded. Really, they didn't want people not coming in and worsening their wounds. | |

Standing up as the door opened, Chyler walked quickly into the room, paying no attention the second person who had just been admitted. Granted, she'd have preferred to talk with Healer Moretti alone but this will have to do. The redhead straightened her back as she entered the office, glancing around and taking everything in before sitting down at one of the offered plush chairs.
"Hello Miss Moretti, I'm Chyler Canning," the sixteen year old introduced herself as she placed a polite smile on her face. Her reactions to the room would have to be kept invisible as she did not want to offend the Healer. THAT would be extremely counterproductive and the redhead had no time for that. "I'm new at Hogwarts," she added as an afterthought, tilting her head to the right in order to give Ms. Moretti the time to reply before she began, keeping her green orbs fixed on her.
She had a lot of things to say.

Walking in head down face tear streaked,Michael looks up long enough to see that his wand is still where he left it on her desk next to her photo frame."Ms."he says softly as he moves to the chair in which he had been sitting only moments ago.Feeling the panic rise in him he lowers his head and trys to breath slowly.

She didn't quite know how to react to the sniffling, teary eyed people who just let their emotion show so blatantly and therefore she preferred the safe option of scarpering in the other direction before things got messy. Or, technically, more messy. Since crying - on top of everything - was a very messy business. Ew.

Cutting his eyes over at the Girl "First I am in the room so how bout this" pulling out a medical book and setting it on the desk in front of the girl " Me being just a KIDand never having had one befor would say I just had had a Panic attack ... opening the book to the proper section and begins reading "Panic attacks are episodes of intense fear or apprehension that are of sudden onset and of relatively brief duration. Panic attacks usually begin abruptly, reach a peak within 10 minutes, and are mainly over within 30 minutes. Panic attacks can be as short as 15 seconds, or can be cyclic, lasting for an extended period, sometimes hours. Often those afflicted will experience significant anticipatory anxiety and limited symptom attacks in between attacks, in situations where attacks have previously occurred.
The effects of a panic attack vary. Some, notably first-time sufferers, may call for emergency services. Chyler blinked in apparent surprise as the crying kid started talking to her. No, he wasn't talking - he was reading out of a medical book and accusing her. Why did he have a medical book in his bag int he first place anyway? Bit of a strange thing to carry around when you're seven. "Kid, was I talking to you? No, I was leaving you alone, and that was completely uncalled for. Other than the fact that it was highly rude of you to start yelling at me, I do not appreciate you assuming things about me. And yet technically I have no idea who you are so I'm just going to talk to Healer Moretti, as that was my purpose in this little venture I took. I also didnt think it was bad But with the reaction in the common room I thought I might have said somthing wrong,even when some of the uppercalssmen making comments the more it seemed that I had,so I didnt want to get the house in more trouble so I came to you,and it just seemed that every time I turned around smack I was wrong again" putting his head down "Like with that raven claw girl, I would not just go off on some one like that.i would have thought what I said but not said it,it was just the tone she used when she said He's....Crying or calling me a Kid she is like 2 yr older than me .." feeling the anger start to build up again " I am sorry I was disrespectful to you.. and if you think I should apologize to her for saying what what I did I will,but I still think a good healer needs greater compassion than that "

Chyler glanced up as the door opened and the Healer's voice beckoned her back in. As she got up, she wiped the slightly sour expression from her face because all things considered, she hadn't actually waited that long so it was ok. True, longer than she had planned to be here but there is nothing to be done now anyway. Patting down her skirt, the redhead got up and squared her shoulders.
Walking through the door once more, her green eyes immediately went to the kid who, unfortunately, was still there. By the looks of things though he was leaving, so that was good. With a questioning look at him and a nod at the Healer, Chyler remained standing as it felt slightly inappropriate to sit while he was up. And she couldn't very well ignore him, he might just... implode or something. Therefore, she raised a single eyebrow and awaited further instruction.

Therefore, she raised a single eyebrow and awaited further instruction. reaching to the desk he takes his wand replaces it in to his holster then turn to the girl, lookin her in the eyes "I would like to offer you an apology for my remarks to you befor I do not know you and I am in no position to speek to you in such a manner I would hope this will not reflect poorly on my self ,my house, or my Head of House" putting his hand out out , he waits for the girl to shake it if she so chooses.
