Now onto the next answer he gave her. "Yeah, I know exactly how you are. I seem to be one of the girls you like to flirt with." Not that she was complaining. She liked to flirt back... a LOT. Oh, he thought she was worth giving up his player ways for. Well... that was definitely more than she had gotten from James, which was I'll try. Finn wasn't saying he would try, he was telling her he would stop. That alone made her want to tell him yes, but she didn't. Instead she gave him another question... right after she gave him another little kiss. "So if I answer your question with a yes, does this mean I get to be your girlfriend?" Because really, he didn't ask her to be his girlfriend, only if she wanted to be. |

Finlay grinned, giving her hand a squeeze. "I like flirting with you a lot." Mmm. He though that she probably knew that by now, but there was no harm in telling her, making her know. Aww. He was getting more kisses. He liked that a lot. Did that mean she believed him? If so he was going to be very happy. She could have very easily thought he was lying, but it seemed that she believed him. Which was good because he was telling the truth. Marie was the only girl he really wanted now. Sure he flirted with tons of girls, but Marie was the speical one. Hmmm. Finn smiled at her, pretending to think about what she was saying. "I think it does...." Yes. Most Definetly. |

What? He only thinks it means she will be his girlfriend? Well that wasn't what she had wanted to hear. "You think it does? Does that mean you're not sure if you want me to be your girlfriend?" She felt her smile fading just a little. Maybe he really was only trying to find out if she wanted, not if she would be his girlfriend. Boys, why couldn't they just say what they meant? |

After not speaking for a few minutes, he asked "Marie....will you be my girlfriend?" |

She wasn't really sure what to make of the silence at the moment. She just knew she liked the feel of his kisses and him holding her hand. The silence was killing her here though. If he didn't say something soon she may just ask him to... "YES!" She blurt out when he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. Wrapping her arms around his neck she pulled him closer and kissed him again... as his girlfriend. "You have no clue how happy you just made me." She whispered in his ear. |
*ignores the Marie clone over there* After RUNNING out of the Greenhouse, because she SWORE Evelyn and Marie were going to feed her to those chomping cabbages, Destiny found herself at the front gate. She wasn't sure WHY she was there, but that's where her feet took her and she was as far away from those finger eating plants. Hopefully she wasn't too far from her friends though. It would suck if she found the last item and they didn't. Or the other way around. Skidding to a halt, she adjusted the bag on her shoulder and glanced around the area. Hmm.. "If I were an item where would I be? Well, I would be in my bag already, obviously. I know where I am; I am right here! What a stupid question to ask." Really. The scavenger hunt needed to end now. Destiny was now talking to herself. |
When did Destiny start to run that fast? Really, Evelyn actually had to RUN to keep up with her. Yet she stopped after awhile, slowing down to a walk and just...taking it easy. She didn't want to spill the bag after all, and then destroy all the items she found...and then have to go back to all the places she looked for them to get them again. That would be a PAIN! Holding onto her bag with both hands that was slung over her shoulder, she stopped walking and looked around, wondering why the heck Destiny had ran all the way over here. This was like...nowhere near the greenhouses. Looking back over to her rather insane she-snake friend, Evelyn sighed before calling out to her, "Why did you run over here!?" By the front gate? Seriously...if the girl wanted to see muggles, she'd just have to wait until summer time. Evelyn seriously doubted the staff would be letting even more muggles into the castle grounds after that first incident. |
*Potions clone... yeah ignore me over there with Finn* Since when did Destiny like to run? Marie had never seen her friend move so fast. Maybe she too was afraid dear ole Vinny was going to catch them. Finally catching up to her she had to agree with Evelyn. "Yeah D, why'd you run clear out here? You that anxious to go home?" Marie knew she was ready for term to be over but most likely for totally different reasons than her She-Snake friend over there. |
Oh good. Her friends DID decide to follow her. But it could all be a trap! What if the only reason they followed her was so they could pick her up and bring her back to the Greenhouse!? THEY WERE STILL GOING TO FEED HER TO THE CHOMPING CABBAGE! Taking a few steps away from Evelyn and Marie, Destiny moved closer to that big rock and was just about to hide behind it when they were spotted. Just sitting there on the rock like they owned the place. It had to be the last object, right? There was no other reason for something like that to be outside. What if it was raining out!? Lafay must have checked the weather forecast beforehand. "I FOUND IT!" she yelled, grabbing one and waving it high above her head before shoving it into her bag. "WE ARE DONE!" Well, technically, SHE was done. The other still had to get there's. But, before she the other She-Snakes could even grab theirs, Destiny took off running back towards the castle.. ..cackling madly. |
Hehe, Merlin only knew what was going on in Destiny's mind. Then again, he might be just as confused as the rest of them when it came to her dear friend's mind. Shaking her head as a few giggles escaped her, Evelyn started towards her crazy insane friend, not really paying attention to the fact that Destiny was in fact moving away from them, or her surroundings. Hmmmmm? Staring at whatever was in Destiny's hand, the Slytherin glanced back to Marie for a moment before shrugging her shoulders, and pulling out her list to check the clues. Well...actually...that made sense? Going over to where her friend...previously...was, Evelyn picked up one of the items before looking it over. That made perfect sense now actually. Hehe, tricky clue! ... Time to race after Destiny! "RACE YOU THERE!" she yelled out to both Destiny and Marie. MWAHAHA! |
Potions clone again SHE FOUND IT? Destiny had found the last item. YES! Running over to the rock she grabbed one and stuck it in her bag. She was just about to take out her parchment and update it when her friends ran off without her. "HEY! WAIT FOR ME!" Or not. Throwing her bag back over her shoulder she took off sprinting towards her friends. She was not going to let them beat her back to the classroom. NO WAY! She would just check her parchment in the room before handing it in. |

The silence did seem quite good, not too awkward, which was a bit unusual for Finn because he normally wasn't a quite guy. But thankfully after he spoken it seemed to get much better. Especially when she wrapped her arms around hid neck. Mhmm. He liked this a lot. Awww. ?Man. She was so cute. He wrapped his arms around her waist, giving her a big hug. "Well I am glad you're happy Marie." Really glad. He liked making her happy, it was a change from making girls cry all the while really. So it was definetly a positive. |

How to get her to stay.... Keep talking? DING DING DING! Correct answer. So Rae just changed topics, just like that. "In Divination... Does everyone have an uh.... 'inner eye?' " Yes this question was serious. She had wondered it for quite a few years now. Rae understood Divination, not well enough to get an awesome grade.. But it was one of her simple classes. Except when it came to Cartomancy.... Rae, Sal, and Fletcher still believed it had something to do with races in carts, a winning cartwheel, a winning sum of money, and certain death to the loser. |
and sorry I didn't get to this sooner. :/ Quote:
The question surprised her, though, and she took a moment to think. "No. Well, let me restate that. Everyone can say they have an 'inner eye' to an extent. Just about anyone can manage basic Divination at least," she finally said, going back to leaning against the gate as she spoke. If they were going to start a discussion, she may as well be comfortable. "A true 'inner eye', though. That's a bit more rare." She wouldn't have said she had one, at least, and she was their professor. True 'inner eyes' equated to being a seer, in her book, and while she could in fact glean more information from people than they'd expect, that wasn't the same. She couldn't say if that had answered Rae's question, however, so she found herself waiting. At least conversation regarding her subject was civil. And safe. |
