"He apologized? He apologized?" Selina could not believe her ears. It wasn't true. It couldn't be... but then the look on Kurumi's face was honesty. He had apologized. Slowly a smile crept up on Selina's face. She was glad that the two had mended things and he had finally apologized. Perhaps they would never be together again, but at least they did not leave their relationship bad like Selina had with him.

"I'm glad you two made up. You deserved his apology. You always did."

Kurumi almost hugged the red-head, but the image of chocolate frogs jumping all over the place and bursting out of their wrappers helped her keep herself from doing so.

"R-R-Really?" she asked with a slight tilt of her head to the right. "What makes you think that?"

"Because he was always too hard on you with everything you did. He held you to this standard that he didn't have to abide by. That wasn't fair. He was free to have any crush he liked and act on it while you could be starstruck and have no intentions to act on it and you were wrong. He was constantly wronging you. That apology was long overdue." Selina explained.

Kurumi blushed an even deeper shade of pink at Selina's words. She hadn't really put all the pieces of the puzzle that was her and Adam's relationship together, and here was Selina spelling it out for her in gigantic capital letters. "I...I never really thought about it that way," she said nibbling on a licorice wand. "He should apologize to you as well. I...I heard what he said at the feast..."

"Kurumi, look me and Adam aren't going to make up. He apologized to you because you're different and even that apology must have been hard for him. I am on a completely different playing field than Adam. I won't apologize and neither will he. I think we are done being friends," Selina said calmly. She knew what last night was- the breaking point.

FOODFOOODFOOODFOODFOOOOODFOOOOODFOOOD!!!

Hugo's belly started grumlbing. He needed some food. Chocolate frogs? NO. No chocolate frogs anymore. He still had the chocolate stained shirt from Charms. Aawww whatever. Just for the card. He wanted Hermione Granger. She was awesome. "Umm can I have a chocolate frog and three licorice wands?" he asked. WHAT? He was hungry.

Adam turned around and heard the most familiar voice ever. He sure hoped his friend, well he just hoped him and Hugo were still friends.

"Helo, Hugo..Arghrr.."Adam said, arm outstretched.

Kyleigh was playing with her chocolate frog box that she really didn't want to eat when she saw Hugo walk up and ask for chocolate frogs. Shuffling her foot slightly, she smiled and took a step over.

"Er you want this one?" She offered smiling, "I don't think I'd ever be able to eat them after charms..." she added with a chuckle as she remembered the two that got tangled in her hair. Turning it not red, blue, yellow, or green but atrociously bright purple.

"I'm Kyleigh - Kyle for short." She added, knowing he was in her house but they'd never formalyl been introduced.

Hugo studied the outstretched arm, then looked up to his face. "Adam? You okay?" he asked and couldn't help but chuckle a bit inside.

"yeah...Isn't it national talk like a piratr dayrrr...."Adam said, still talking in that weird voice.

"Is it?" he asked looking around. Noone else seemed to be talking like pirates. But whatever. "Yarr matey. So, what ARRRRR you gettin'?" he asked Adam and chuckled.

Hugo looked up just after getting his candy. "Yearr, no thanks," he said awkwardly, then opened the little box and looked at the card. "I just want the card... But maybe I can look for someone who doesn't scream when they see those things," he said and giggled.

Hugo shook her hand and smiled. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Hugo, soon to be third year Ravenclaw!" he said. Ohh, how excited he could call himself a third year!

"Nothing...HAHAHAHAHA."Adam laughed too hard and loud, as he slapped his knee.

"So...ready to get back home?"He asked as Adam slowly wavered in spot...

Kyle couldn't help but laugh as he commented about not screaming whenever they saw them that would be only the students who didn't make it to that class - and that was one very packed class. "I get that - I got them for the cards too and didn't bother opening it...I'll give it to my aunt" she said with a laugh.

"Nice to meet you Hugo - and hope we get a good year coming! I mean Ravenclaw's going to rock at the house-cup next term," she smiled she still couldn't believe that she was now a seventh year. Shaking his hand she smiled. "I'm heading into my seventh year myself," she smiled.

Kurumi frowned. She didn't want two of her closest friends to leave on such poor terms. "Do...Do you want me to try and talk to him?"

Hugo chuckled, glad he was having so much fun.

"I am... Not ready to leave Hogwarts," then there was a moment of silence. "But I will return..." he said looking down at his converse all stars. "Are you ready to go to Mexico?" he asked quietly. He couldn't believe Adam was really leaving. Everyone of his friends were leaving.

Hugo laughed silently. "I got Wilfred Elphick," he said, looking at the little person in the card. It stood up and left. Just like Adam. He put it in his pocket and went on.

"I hope so," Hugo said. To be honest, they didn't stand a chance to Gryffindor and Slytherin. Those had a lot more students, too. "I'm gonna work extra hard for Ravenclaw next year," he smiled.

He took a swig of pumpkin juice as he listened to Finn "Yeah-- but then again it depends on what kind of fun people have. If someone sits around the park all day playing chess I dont think thats much fun." Cerebral he's not.

He turned his head quickly at that and snickered "Well that depends on what junk food is now isnt it?" He held up a meatpie "This got meat in it, wrapped in flour and eggs and baked-- so this is protein with some carbs yeah?" he said then popped it into his mouth. He then ripped open a box of chocolate frog and held the squirming candy aloft "This is chocolate-- plenty of sugars in it BUT its energy food too, specially for athletes like yourself. Makes sense right?"

Yeah he could find any excuse to justify what he wants heh.

Selina shook her head no, "If you need to talk to him to get him to apologize then the apology means nothing. An apology comes from within. You say it when you are truly sorry. To have someone else push along the apology or advice the other party on what to say makes the apology void of any real meaning. It's like giving someone a script and telling them to read th lines. They mean no:dobdance:thing because they are not the speakers words."

Adam looked at Hugo...And stratched his chin, though it wasn't needed.
"Honestly...No."Adam answered truthfully. "I mean...Kurumi and I made up...Still broken up though...But my 'friendship' with Selina is hanging by a centimeter of a thread...I think it's over between Selina and I..."He said with a grim look.

Kurumi nodded slowly. She realized that what was going on between Adam and Selina was much more complicated than anything she could hope to understand or get in the middle of. "I understand," she smiled with a hint of sadness. Well, their conversation was getting heavier and more depressing by the minute.

She needed to change the subject...FAST!

"Oh, I talked to my parents about may staying with you this summer so you can teach me how to fly," she said with her violet eyes filled with excitement. Well, she had left out the flying bit in her letter so as not to alarm her mother. "They said it was alright."

"Really?" Selina said excitedly. She had asked her parents if Kurumi could stay and they had even set up a room for her in Whitley to make her feel more comfortable. Of course maybe Selina would keep that part to herself to suprise Kurumi when she came, "That's so great. Wait how long will you be staying? I mean at Whitley. Personally you'd welcome for as long as you'd like, but I know how parents are."

Neptune was having another entirely restless episode. She wasn't hungry, but she was at the trolley anyway. With her pinky, she rummaged through the goods and decided there wasn't anything there that would make her happy.


Where was Jake, again? All the cars looked the same.


On second thought, she bought a pumpkin juice and .... tried to move past Finny to start her wandering around again. "Excuse me, Finlay."

"Well you wouldn't know if it's fun unless you do it." Finlay grinned at Sal, but did nod at what the guy was saying. "But I do think it probably is quite boring." Who would want to sit and move around some little things. Yeah. Finlay was not going to be playing chess any day soon.

Mmm. Finlay laughed, as he opened a chocolate frog, taking a big bite from it. "What your saying is very true....." He agreed, knowing that he was going to be telling Marie just that. Although she would probably poke him and tell him that it wasn't really healthy. He shrugged at Salander though. Finlay didn't really listen to anyone when it came to what he ate. He knew what was good to put in his mouth, and that was what he was going to be doing.

Finn was about to take another bite of the chocolate frog when he heard his name. It was Neptune....whom he'd never actually heard call him his full name. What had happened to Finny? "Hi Tuney...." He smiled at her, taking a step back. Was she not happy with him? It certainly seemed like it....

She thought about just moving riiiiiiiiight along, going back to doing what she was doing - mindless wandering - but since Finny was alone....


"Finny... Could we talk for a second?" About your face?

Uh oh...

This didn't sound quite so good. Finlay kind of shoved the rest of the chocolate frog into his mouth, before nodding at Neptune. He had a feeling she would talk without him even agreeing really. "Sure Tuney..." He smiled at her. Now....what could this possibly be about? He had a feeling it may just be what had happened at the feast...

Neptune took Finny's arm, like she always would have before.... but quickly disentangled from him. What if Marie saw? Meh. Neptune recovered by crossing her arms across her chest.

"Does he know yet?" she whispered, once they were just far enough away from the others. Her eyes slanted up to Finny's face. He KNEW who she meant.
