Tyrone stated. he laughed a little but there was a serious tone in his voice that told of its truthfulness. "How about you? met any other frineds?"

Jamie listened to him and kind of felt sorry for him. She wanted to hug him and say, it'll be okay. I'm your friend...if that's enough for you to be happy, but she didn't. "Well I never went to a muggle school. We live in an all wizarding community so there are no muggles but not many of the people have children my age so I spend time inside. Mum home schooled me on the basics and said I'd be fine when I go to school." She sighed. "I guess I just made a promise to myself to make as many friends as possible to make up for the lack of friends when I was younger." She smiled,"I've made quiet a lot of friends. I don't talk to many of them except for you and Rowan but I guess Rowan doesn't really count as a friend anymore. Just a sister, but sisters can be friends I guess." She was rambling again and a slow blush crept upon her face. "So have you found a favorite class yet?"

"No, not yet. I've only been to one class so far. I'll wait until I've tried them all before I make my decision. Have you found a favourite yet?" He responded, shifting Jewels from his shoulder to his arms, finding her uncomfortable. "I liked being able to sit by myself though. It gave me a chance to read some of the books that Mother gave me. Full of wizarding history and stuff. If I had people around me they would have questioned me more."

"Well quiet honestly no. I'm waiting for muggle studies. I barely know anything about them just what I've seen in pictures dad showed me." Jamie felt like a total loser not knowing anything about muggles. "Well at least you enjoy solitude. I don't mind it myself, just sometimes it's nice to talk to someone if I have a problem, and it's even better when that someone isn't your parent." She nodded and said, "Well you do know if someone began to ask to many questions you could just tell them to stop. I'm all about standing up for oneself. Oh by the way before I forget, why did you choose the nickname you choose at the feast?" She was curious. Bruiser. Sounded like he could inflict a lot of pain with a punch.

"I guess you're right. I could've asked them not to ask" he smiled, looking back and realising that he could have done just that. "Bruiser. Benjamin chose Trouble, right? And you chose Storm. Put my name between them and see what you get" Tyrone smiled softly. He really hoped that Jamie would figure it out.

"I wouldn't hurt a fly, just so you know. I don't like being violent at all."

She sighed a breath of relief. She wasn't going to ever doubt her first initial judgement of people again. "So, when do you think we'll see trouble again?"

"I'm not sure about you, but unless I want to be sleeping in the common room, I'll have to see him eventually. Being truthfull, I don't like him too much. He seems a little up himself." Tyrone, getting tired of standing, slid himself down so he sat with his back to one of the windows and settled Jewels in his lap. "Much better. Join me?"

Tyrone pat the spot next to him, offering it out to Jamie. "Glad you figured out the names. I was worried that you wouldn't get it. I only chose it because of the play on words when the three off them were put together like that. Besides, it makes people think twice about trying to fight me." he smiled his goofy grin and looked up at Jamie, who was oddly tall from this angle.

Jamie nodded and said, "I think he might avoid us. We made it kind of clear we already thought he was sort of crazy. That's the first time I was ever mean to someone." Jamie watched as he sank down and joined him holding the tin of cookies her mum had sent her. "Why not," she said as she plopped on the ground next to him.

"Not only does the belay on words work but it almost describes him. Trouble brews a storm." She sighed and held out the tin of cookies, "You want one. They're chocolate chip. My mum made them and sent them to me with the letter that told me Rowan was my sister." She didn't mind sharing. She smiled at him and said, "You know we should still take his idea into consideration, but instead of making it a trio why not just me and you...not a trio but like a..." Merlin, what was that word?

"Sure, thanks." he said, reaching for a cookie. "Don't worry too much about being mean to someone. If you're nice to those that annoy you, it will only make them come back more. Sometimes, you need to be mean to get your point across. These cookies are really good" he added as a side note, having eaten the cookie while he spoke.

Tyrone smiled as Jamie struggled to find the right words. "A duo, or a pair? one of them?"

"Well it just feels weird. Maybe I'm supposed to be in Slytherin after all." Jamie shrugged then smiled. "I'll tell my mum you said so." She then proceeded to hit her head with her hand. "That is exactly the right word. A duo. We don't have to do anything completely outrageous and out there like he wanted to do."

"That's the spirit! The hat wouldn't out you here if it didn't think you didn't belong. You must have some hidden cunning or a slyness about you that needs awakening." Tyrone said, getting a little too excited at the thought of finding out why she was placed here. That could wait until later though. For now it was a matter of figuring out what the two of them would do. "So, any ideas on what we could do? You think Rowan would like to join us? I think we'll need new names too. I don't really want to be called Bruiser if we aren't going to be with Benjamin"

Elle strolled, book in hand. The strong winds whipped her red hair to her face, causing disturbances to her sight. Getting a small scrunchie, she tied her hair up in a high ponytail neatly.

"Where can I read my book with enough sun?"

And there, she spotted the perfect place at the middle of the corridor. With no one there, she sat on the ledge of the window, opened her book and began reading The Standard Book of Spells in advance.

Jamie loved his excitement. She was finally excepting herself as a snake and she liked it. She considered for a moment on what they could do,"I don't know. Maybe we can be th exact opposite of what he stands for. While he's about gaining power and making trouble we could be gaining power and using it for good?" she considered inviting her sister and shook her hand,"She's great and all but I don't think she'd be the type for taking risks." She still hasn't properly rose her broom, she thought to herself. "And of course we can have new nicknames. I wasn't going to keep Storm forever."

*shifty* You know who you are. ;)

Planning for the first lesson of term was never easy, which is why Isabelle decided to take a break and wander down to the grounds. Being on the sixth floor gave her a good view, but nothing was better than getting out there and smelling the fresh air.

Taking it slowly so she could keep an eye on the children that she passed, Issy greeted them with a warm smile and a nod of her head. They seemed to be behaving themselves, which gave her a warm glow. Stopping just past a group of Slytherin's, Isabelle leant on the wall and stuck her head through the open arch, to look down at the grounds below. Late summer made things look so pretty.

That would be rather counter productive, and if he wanted to keep his nice muscles, he needed to stop getting so distracted. Although when he got down to to the corridor to the courtyard he saw something that kind of made him stop on his way down to the lake. There was a girl, and she looked a little....lonely? Or worried. "Hey..." He smiled, coming to a stop near her.

She sort of didn't want to send a letter home, either. Didn't want her mom to ask about Legend or how things were at school, and if she owled Julian she could get his opinion about some of the things that were on her mind. Yes.. that was it, she would simply write to her twin brother.

As a voice brought her out of her thoughts, the sixth year blinked her dark brown eyes before focusing them on the owner of the 'Hey'. It was a Ravenclaw boy, she recognized him enough from classes to he was in her year. A Prefect too, so shown the badge on his robes. "Hello," A small, friendly smile reaching her lips, Katie tilted her curly-haired head just a tiny bit. "I don't think we've met before? Or.. not formally, outside of one class or another. I'm Katie - or, Kaitlynnh Mae, as the professors tend to call me." Either Miss Mae or Kaitlynnh, it depended on the professor.

"As beautiful as the grounds look now," Ikenna spoke quietly from his post one arch over from Isabelle, "I am curious to see how silent and peaceful they will appear in the winter."

Of course he was interested in such things, not having spent many winters in colder climates, but his sentence was truthfully nothing more than a conversation starter. Ikenna smoothly moved from his arch to Isabelle's, leaning on the wall close enough that they could lightly converse but not too close that she would feel...awkward. He was conscious of these things now after being called a 'creeper' by the students.

"How do you do, Professor Magnus?" He looked from the grounds to her with a polite smile. "I have been looking to speak with you for some time now, I must confess."

Ara walked out into the corridor for a bit of fresh air. Her cheeks were rather pale from being locked inside the dungeons, though it was ONE of her favorite parts of the castle. The day had been long and she had not seen her boyfriend in a few hours. Poor thing. She sighed to herself, watching others pass by her in hopes to go outside and play like good children, but she was not one of them. Mainly it was fear of her hair becoming frizzy or the thought of collecting too much sun, causing her cheeks to become a violent beet red. Blah! It would take a lot of powder to cover that up and she was not one at looking unnatural, it just wasn't...natural, to say the least.

Corvus was sitting on one of the stone benches as he watched a few of the students passing by. They all seemed occupied with each other and probably about to do homework. Something he should probably be doing. Eh. He could do it later. He was sketching at the moment and he wanted to finish most of it before he left. It was just of the statue, but he needed some practice.

He looked down at the picture, adding a few more details to the bottom of the fountain. He looked up again to notice Ara looking around like the lost duckling. He closed his notebook as he grabbed his bag. He lifted it over his head, sliding the pencil into his bag. He made his way to her quiet, sneaking around people to be able to scare her." RAWR!" He loved scaring her. Don't ask him why. Probably because it was so easy to do so." What are you doing?" He asked as he grinned.

If there was anything in her hands, it was in the air then on the floor. The rawring sound that came from Corvus scared Ara half to death. Immediately, by instinct, her hand raised up, balled into a fist and punched his arm in a popping motion. "Will you STOP scaring me!" Her eyebrows frowned as she eyed her so called friend who liked to scare her to the point of punching.

As she took a couple of deep breaths and caught his next question, she settled back against the wall. "I needed some air," she began as her green eyes finally looked up to Corvus. "I didn't want to become too pale from staying inside for too long yet I don't want to go down there," she said as her head nodded in the direction towards the lake, "because my hair will fizz and I will look like a freak of nature." And she knew that some sarcastic remark was about to vomit from his mouth over that.

The first thing she did was inflict pain on him. He didn't really deserve it, but he never did. He grabbed his arm as he winced at the pain vibrating through his nerves in his arm."Owe Ara...Why do you not punch like a girl." He complained as her father taught her too well. Something he had to remind himself to THANK him for. He rubbed his arm as he shot her a look. THANKS A LOT. " I didn't do anything. I don't know what your talking about." He told her as he stood up even taller. He had no idea and that was his story.

Some Air? Like the Dungeons never had any air flow."You do know to get Sunlight you have to get out in it. Your currently in the Shadows." He made a small gesture to where they were standing, pointing out that they were in a shaded area. "Your just afraid you'll get wet." It was true. " I won't push you in this time. I promise." Sometimes it was just too easy to torture Ara.

Tyrone thought hard about that. absently stroking Jewels, who was still sleeping on his lap. Then it strruck him. The perfect name. "What about Petal? Your favourite flower is a Jasmine, and it is the name of your owl too. It's a perfect fit. it also compliments your looks too. You, are as pretty as a flower." it wasn't until he had said it, that Tyrone realised it was too late.

"I... I... I mean that... in a totally non creepy, friendly sort of way" he stammered, trying to salvage the situation.

"Oh, goodness!" Isabelle jumped a little as a whispered voice came from the other side of the arch. Leaning back into an upright position, she glanced to the side to see who it was. Ahh, mystery man. "Mr Gevrik you startled me, I didn't hear you coming," she smiled. Which was odd considering it wasn't exactly a noisy place. "But, urrr, yes, I would imagine they will be equally as beautiful. If we get the thick snow the area is famous for."

As the man moved closer to her, Isabelle changed her stance to face him. It was always more polite to talk to someone's face than to avoid eye contact. Placing one hand on the ledge of the arch, and the other in her robe pocket, Issy relaxed her posture as she looked the man up and down. Smart, smooth, pleasant.

Isabelle greeted his hello with a warm smile and nod of the head at first. "It's nice to meet you, Mr Gevrik." Extending a hand to him, she quirked an eyebrow at his next choice of words. Looking to speak with her? Hmm. Must be due to the fact he was new to the school, like her, and he wished to speak with everyone. Yes, that must be it. "You have? Ahh well, here we are," Issy grinned. "Was there something inparticular you wanted to speak to me about?" If there was, she didn't quite know what.

Ellie walked down the corridor slowly, enjoying the fresh air that was coming through from the courtyard. She had a lot on her mind lately, but if felt good to get out of her dorm. She smiled and enjoyed the weather before the winter clouds would roll in and take all the warmth away.
