Jamie stood there just staring out one of the 'windows'. She looked at the courtyard a bit longer then turned her back on it. Her owl Jasmine landed on her shoulder and she smiled smally, "Hello love."

"There you are!" Rowan gave Jamie a big hug. "I've been looking every where for you. Oh," she said to the owl, scratching its head. "Hello there."

Sophia turned around and saw Fee running towards her. "Heyyyy Fee!" she said, smiling. She wished that she didn't have to cancel the huge party, but things got in the way. Bad things. "Oh nothing much!" she said, happily. "How about you?" she asked, cocking her head to the side. "Sorry about the party cancel." she said, softly. "Some, well uhh, bad things got in the way." she said, awkwardly. "But, next summer everyone is invited for Carnival, which is the Italian version of Halloween!" she said, smiling.

Tyrone thought it was a wonderful day outside and decided that a walk of the grounds would be a good idea. As he wandered out of the caslte and through the corridoor that led outside, he stopped when he noticed someone familiar looking out one of the windows.

As Tyrone got closer, he noticed an owl land on her shoulder and her voice floated over, giving the owl a greeting. Tyrone smiled and walked up to the pair, as Jamie turned around. "Good morning Jamie. Is it safe to assume that the beautiful owl you have there is Jasmine?" he smiled, starting up a conversation.

"Yeah I tend to wander. Habit." Jamie smiled hugged her back. "No letter so I guess mum and dad are sending their owl which also means their sending a package." For some reason they never let Jasmine bring the packages. She sighed and stroked Jasmines beak.



Jamie smiled and said, "Yeah this is Jasmine. I love her to death." She pet the bird again. "And this is my friend, and hopefully soon to be sister, Rowan." She smiled happily at both of them. "So what are you doing today? And where is trouble?"She was using his Benjamin's nickname because it suited him well.

Tyrone reached out a hand to pet the owl softly. He turned to the other girl, who he hadn't noticed before. Holding out his hand he smiled and said "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Tyrone" as he stood and waited for Rowan to respond he spoke to Jamie "I'm not sure where Trouble is. I lost him after we left the dorms this morning. Oh and I've been thinking about the kitten. I was thinking of naming her Jewels and wanted your opinion on it, before I made it official."

"Yeah me too. I don't know if he'll talk to me ever again anyway." Jamie shrugged. She didn't really care. She had enough friends to last her a lifetime already. She smiled and said, "Oh thats such a good name for her! So pretty and original." Of course why couldn't she think of something like that. "Make it official and when will I ever get to see her?" She just wanted to pet it and love it.

"It's okay. I spent most of last year exploring here and I STILL haven't seen everything. Wow, a package. Your parents are really nice, aren't they?" Rowan said.


Rowan offered her hand to Tyrone, thinking for a moment how silly a custom it was. "Nice to meet you Tyrone." She noticed her cat Panda lurking around the corner and smiled to herself. Looks like my little troublemaker is sneaking up on me again, she thought. "I'm sorry but I just HAVE to do this," she said to her friends and giggled. She moved against the wall and crept towards the cat who had taken a moment to wash her face. "I caught you first," Rowan yelled making the cat jump about a foot.

Jamie laughed and said, "Well then you have five more years and I have six so I'm pretty sure we'll see almost every last inch of the castle." Jamie watched as she crept away to go sneaking up on the cat and shook her head smirking about it. At that precise moment a brown owl flew over head and dropped not one but two packages at her. The owl then flew off. "Figures. their owl hates me." It wasn't true the owl just had....issues. She found a letter on top of the two packages and opened it up.

Jamie took the box labeled as hers and gave Rowan the box that was hers and the letter.

Rowan scooped up Panda and wandered back over to her friends just as a brown owl tried to drop some packages on Jamie's head. "Uh, nice owl?" Rowan laughed. "Is that from your parents?" she asked nervously in a shaky voice. I guess I should prepare myself she thought, as she took the letter and package Jamie handed her. First she read the letter. What? She had to read it again. She couldn't believe it! "OH MY GOSH!" she exclaimed. "THEY SAID YES! THEY ACTUALLY SAID YES!" She started jumping up and down, squashing an unhappy Panda, who finally wriggled free. "WE ARE GOING TO BE SISTERS! I HAVE A SISTER! HECK, I HAVE A WHOLE FAMILY!" She gave Jamie the biggest hug ever, trying not to break her ribs.

"Well I told you so." Jamie laughed as she was hugged. "Were going to be sisters. Oh this is great. I can't wait to show you my room. Oh and you'll have a room to yourself too." She let go of her sister and opened the package. In it was the tin of cookies and a necklace. She pulled it out and smiled. It was half a heart on the front it had Sis in elegant writing with a gem here and there. And on the back it has Rowan's initials? "What did you get in your box?"

"Oh. My package. I was so excited I forgot." Rowan quickly tore open her package and looked inside. "I also have a tin of cookies. And look, I have a necklace just like yours, with your initials on the back. It's beautiful! Could you hold my cookies so I can put it on?" she asked.

Jamie took her tin of cookies and held them,"Of course." She laughed. "Oh I have to tell everyone I have a sister now. This is great. I can't believe I have an older sister. Wait until you actually meet mum and dad." Then something popped into her head. "Are you going to keep your last name or change it?" That was something Rowan had to decide herself.

"Oh," Rowan hadn't even thought of that. Her last name and a photograph were all that she had left of her parents. But not changing her name would seem ungrateful. What to do? I know, she thought. "I think I will keep my name but add Smithson to it. What do you think? Is Firestorm-Smithson too long?" she asked her sister. YAY! Sister!

Jamie smiled, "I think it's perfect. that way you still have the old you and the new you." Jamie would've done the same thing if she were in her position. "I don't know about you but I think this is going to be the best life ever." She went and placed the cookies the window thing and clasped her necklace around her neck. "I wonder how your friends will react when you tell them."

"I only have a few friends but I am sure they will be excited to hear the news. I can't wait to tell everyone! Hey, I just realized, I have a brother but I don't even know what his name is. You will have to tell me all about everyone." Having a family was going to take some getting used to. "I can't wait to meet them all," she said.

Jamie nodded, "Well our brother is named Jacob. He's four years old but he lives with my aunt and uncle in America. They took up a muggle life style and mom and dad love him it's just they can't find a babysitter for him and they can't take him to work and they wanted me to go to school so it just wasn't working out so well. He's going to visit us during the breaks up until he's eleven and at school. I mean it sounds heartless but it eats at mum a lot because she misses him. She was talking about quitting her job to look after him next year. Os he will more than likely be at home with us more often." She then thought about her mum. "Mum is nice. She likes to bake. I remember when I was younger she baked over three dozen cookies and we ate them all in two days and then theres dad. He'd go to the end of the world to get you anything you wanted. He works for the ministry and travels a lot but theres a package every day from him." She thought about everything else. "Thats about it. Trust me you'll fit in perfectly with the family and they'll spoil you rotten if you let them."

"So your family is pure blood? Will they be okay with me being half muggle? What about the fact that I am a metemorphmagus? That won't bother them?" she asked. Wow, Rowan thought to herself, I'm really weird.

"Were not shallow like most of the pure bloods. And my aunt is a metemorphmagus." Jamie smiled happily. "Nothing will bother them."

"I like them more and more all the time," she smiled. "So, is there anything you want to ask about me? After all, we are sisters. You can ask me anything."

"Well I just kind of figured if there was anything you wanted to tell me you'd tell me when your ready." Jamie shrugged. She didn't like to force questions upon people. "But if you want questions. How about you tell me about yourself. Favorite colors. Favorite foods. Are you allergic to anything?"

"Well, let's see," she really had to think for a minute about a favorite food. She loved them all. "I guess my favorite food would have to pizza. With any kind of veggie and cheese topping. My favorite color is blue. Oh, and I am allergic to mean people." she smirked. "How about you? Favorite foods or colors?"

" My favorite food is Italian chicken. It's chicken that is covered in bread crumbs and friend in olive oil. It's so good. My favortie colors are blue, purple, green, and silver." Jamie laughed. "And I am allergic to mean people also."

Rowan laughed. "I think we will get along fabulously."

"I do to." Jamie smiled and said, "So I bet you anything they are making you a room right now. Oh and I can promise you a new wardrobe too." yep, she was going to be spoiled. "I better owl them you favorite color and what not. then again our parents tend to know everything without even asking."
