Katie walked along the corridor making her way to the pumpkin patch, she as getting quite tired though actually, she sat down on the ledge and started to read a book, ahh the wonders of reading. |

The castle was great. Yes, it sure was. Charisa hadn't wandered many of the floors though. Now she was aimlessly wandering the ground floor. After passing door after door in the grand hallways of the castle, she found her feet had carried her to a new place. An open corridor, wonderfully letting in sunlight and fresh air. She had hardly noticed the change in atmosphere from the dimly candle-lit halls of the castle to this airier corridor until she was fully enveloped in it. The fresh scent of the grounds outside filled the place from the wide, glassless windows. Maybe she had been in the castle for way too long because her eyes took a while adjusting to the light from outside, and her head suddenly felt clear. But it felt good. Charisa stopped to stand in the sunlight that filtered in from the windows, soaking in the warmth. The coolness of the autumn day melted away gradually, and she stepped back to sit at one of the benches lining the corridor. This was peaceful indeed. |

Fallon shook her head. "I don't think so. His name doesn't sound familiar." And Fallon usually wasn't that bad with names. So that's why she asked if I knew him... She giggled a little at the enthusiasm in her voice. "That's a bummer. But how far off is that?" It would suck if it was longer than a year. |

"Well, what do you like? You must have some interests." He spoke the last few words derisively, almost as if he were speaking to a young child and that having hobbies was one of the most fundamental elements of life. Braeden wasn't necessarily like the other students: he had some weird charm about him. He might even be destined for something great in his life; if only he would break out of his shy shell, maybe he could progress. |
Isobel messed with the hem of her skirt as she walked down the corridor. She had a problem; she thought he was lost. This was, after all, her first day, so she didn't know her way around the school. Hopefully she would eventually end up someplace she did recognize, or find someone she knew that could direct her the right way to do. Fortunately, she didn't wasn't on a schedule, and she didn't have a specified location that she was going to. |

Hmm. Braeden looked off into space thoughtfully as they walked for the next few moments, trying to figure out an answer for that question. What were his interests? Besides food, movies, and Divinations? He wasn't very good at potions, he was clumsy with his wand, and dealing with plants usually left him in the Hospital Wing. What was Braeden good at? "I think I'm going to get back to you on that one," he decided finally. "I'm still trying to decide which one I like better: movies or predicting the future," he said, and it was difficult to tell if he was kidding around or being serious. Though knowing Brae, he was probably serious. "But what about you?" he asked Deus. "You're going to take over the family business, but do you like making wands?" he asked, and upon realizing that Deus's role in the business probably wouldn't be to make wands, he added, "Or handling finances and that sort of thing?" He could see Deus being a businessman, though. He had that cold-blooded sort of thing going on, and if he was in Ravenclaw so he was obviously not dumb. |

It was true that he enjoyed the financial aspect of it. Even though the goblins at Gringotts and internationally could be pains in ones tush, the money was worth it in the end. "I suppose so... yes," He commented, scratching his chin as he looked down and he scanned the ground that they strolled on. "As for the wand business itself, it's not horrid. I prefer the financial aspect over the manufacturing aspect, but all-in-all I can't say anything too negative about it." Just as he finished speaking, the clock tower in the courtyard struck noon and echoed throughout the campus. "Oh dear," He bit his lower lip and glanced up at Braeden. "I should get to studying. It's only the second day, I know, but NEWTs aren't exactly things to be procrastinated on, especially this early in the term. I need to-" He paused, pursing his lips momentarily. Would he have the gall... would he deign to speak what he was thinking? "Would you like to accompany me to the library? I mean, if you don't mind. You could possibly help me in Divination, the only subject I kind of struggle with." He stopped, knowing that he had spoken too quickly and had made a fool out of himself. |
Lizardycaleytot <3 Kaia hadn't ventured around the grounds properly yet, in fear she'd get lost. And if she had left the castle, there had been a tree climbing experience, or atleast someone else had been with her. Like... well like someone else. Today she'd ditched the cape, and was carrying a banana infront of her face. A big yellow smile, it was. It was all to make her 'banana smile girl' today, so she said to herself anyways. |

With each step Leo took his dinosaur slippers made that faint Shhhh sound. Why was he wearing slippers? Because they were comfy. He was sure he was going to get a reputation as the guy wearing dinosaur slippers and he didn't really care. It was better then being a nerd, right? Right, anything was better than being known as the nerd. Right now back to exploring in the dinosaur slippers, Leopold kept walking until....his eyes landed on a girl. Now, he wasn't staring at how beautiful she was.Nope,Leo wasn't in for that cheesy love at first sight stuff even if the girl WAS pretty. HE WAS THINKING HOW TOTALLY AWESOME THAT WAS!! Shhhh...shhhh...shhhh.... His little feet moved faster with each step he took, running up to the banana smile girl. He took a HALT when he was beside her. "I LIKE YOUR BANANA."Leo grinned. Ohhhhh yes. Leo put his hands in his pockets, grin still on his face. "I like oranges beter though..."But oranges didn't make the funny smile thing so....yeah. |

As she walked past something of reflectory properties, Kaia glanced in, and giggled at her reflection. She looked positively stupid, in all truth. The fact she was saying nothing made it even funnier, because if she did, her mouth would move behind the banana, and it wouldn't be seen that it was her talking. Oh, banana. What a lovely joy you are. Tasty, and helpful. And also yellow, too. So she was all huffflepuffy aswell. The brunette only had one hand rested up holding the banana under it's middle, and the other swung by her side as she walked. She hadn't heard, or saw anyone around her in a while, which was unusual, because usually Hogwarts was crawling with students, wasn't it? Maybe they were all just busy doing something boring, like studying, or not climbing trees. Until some random kid almost-practically-JUSTLIKEMAGIC-appeared near her, and was commenting on her banana. "I like it too." She spoke from behind the yellow fruit, after moving it a centimetre away from her mouth to give her room to not end up with muffled speech. "I... like your slippers? They're cool. Dinosaurs are cool. Spiderman would be cooler, though." Like she had a spiderman teddy. It was a big girl teddy though! Kai eyed him carefully, and lowered the banana a little, before smiling up at him. "Oranges would make good eyes. A fruit face." |

And then he was inviting him - Braeden, of all people - to join him and help him out with Divination. Braeden's brown eyes widened to saucers - he was kidding, right? Amadeus Kipling wouldn't ask someone as goofy as Braeden for help! It was absurd. But no, it seemed our cowardly lion had heard his Ravenclaw classmate right. Braeden couldn't help being flattered. "Sure, I'll help you," he agreed with a lopsided grin. "Let's go." |
For Fee <3 Sophia shivered. Why does it get cold in Spetember here?! she thought. In Italy it was probably still really warm. *mind pout* Oh, well. She wondered where all of her friends had disappered too. They all seemed to magically go missing. And she still hadn't seen Fee! Oh, well. She walked down the long dark |

"I see," Eiri said, nodding. "I used to pickpocket in Brazil when times got tough, but there were not that many of us that did. Rio is the worst of the country. I think it is because of the complex the tourists cause. The most beautiful and the most dangerous... Naturally, that is where I lived. I worry for Brazil sometimes, but it will be fine... I am sure of it." Eirian was a bit glad Fallon didn't know Jay... "I only asked as he is friends with so many girls that I barely know them all," she explained. Merlin, it was annoying. She hated having to deal with girls that Jayce was friends with. Often, she had to deal with girls he was more than friends with. "The last friend I made ended up as his girlfriend. It was horrid." Urgh. That whole ordeal... "My birthday is January thirteenth, so it is not terribly far off. The only issue that I might run into will be Christmas... I cannot ask for money. Not after everything else that has been done for me." |

Fallon nodded. So this girl was kind of a trouble maker. She would have to make sure to keep an eye on her, just to be on the safe side. "I guess whatever you had to do to keep yourself going." She listened as she talked about how she worried for her country. "It can't be completely horrible so there's always a chance." Fallon chuckled. "Ah, makes sense." She would also have to watch out if he met a guy named Jayce. He seemed like he would be a real ladie's man. She felt kind of bad. That had to be something hard to go through. One of your friend's dating your guy friend...never mind. She was going through that right now with Aaron and Iris and it wasn't that bad. "That stinks. Well, maybe you could make homemade presents using magic." Magic really came in handy sometimes. |

She was glad, though, as Fallon didn't seem too put out by some of her past. "My dad left me there, so yeah," Eiri sighed. "I did what I could. I am not proud of it, but not ashamed, either. When I get my inheritance, I will donate so much of it to my home..." That would make up for her petty thievery. It had to. "He is sweet, though," Eirian admitted. "I understand why he so easily makes friends... and girlfriends..." Sigh. Why was Jay such a likable person? It was obnoxious. Having a friend everyone loved was rather difficult. She was that person in Rio. And now? Not so much. "That is a good idea! I am not sure what to make, unfortunately... Perhaps I will need suggestions when the time comes." |

Fallon frowned slightly at nodded her head. There really wasn't much else she could say about that. She would hopefully never know what it felt like to be so low that you could only survive by being a thief. Fallon nodded. She really didn't know any guys like that. She was still going to keep an eye out for this Jayce guy. "So I'm guessing he's one of those people everyone likes?" Sometimes those people were just annoying. Fallon grinned. "I've had to do stuff like that before so I won't mind helping. That is...if you want my help." |

"So... What about you? I have said much about my existence, but beyond Italy I do not know a thing about you, Fallon!" |
