Plus, there was also the fact that she was going to go on this adventure with a new friend, whom she already suspected would be a really good friend in no time. Of course, there was no telling what he was really thinking -- perhaps he was just trying to be nice -- but she got the feeling that he was genuinely interested in forming a lasting friendship, not just killing time... Or maybe she was still shaken up from their recent adventure; this sappy monologuing was just a bit out-of-character. "So without telling me the ending, can you tell me what the movie is that we're going to watch?" Ava Jade asked Braeden as they walked. |
Quote:
"I'm gonna leave that up to you," Braeden decided with one of his goofy lopsided grins. "Which would be your favourite genre - comedy, action/adventure, romance, fantasy, or mystery/suspense?" asked the boy. He wanted to not just show Ava Jade a movie but, preferably, one she would enjoy. He didn't want her first-ever Muggle movie to be the most boring documentary of life or something! She'd be traumatized for life! |
Sorry about the lateness! >.< My life just doesn't understand how urgent SS is.. lol Quote:
"Let's do a suspense movie," she finally declared. If he wanted her to pick, she would make a decision, whether it be good or bad. She wasn't one for patience or indecision. "I think suspense would be fun," she said. |
xDD It's ok! And I love the Ava Jade the Valiant tag! Quote:
"In that case, I've got just the right movie for you," announced the boy with one of his goofy grins as he continued leading the way down the hall almost invisible behind the pile of books he was carrying. "Ever heard of the Room of Requirement?" he asked the girl at his side as he took the path toward the stairs. |
hehe thanks! ^_^ I love your Brae tag too! XD Quote:
Ava Jade decided to stay safe, and as she followed him toward the stairs she merely replied, "My friends and I have toyed with it a bit. It's pretty amazing. Is that where we're going?" |
Bre[: Sebastian walked into the Fifth Floor Corridor, venturing over to where the statues were. He studied them for a while, eventually getting bored. He read the little plaques on the statue. "Boris the Bewildered and Gregory the Smarmy." He muttered, raising an eyebrow at the statues then reading the names over again. How do you even get those names to be yours? He shrugged and looked around, seeing if anyone was around that he knew. Nope, just lonely Seb. |

Bryce looked at him. No he wasn't crazy and nor was he talking to himself. Hehe. Well that's what he thought and most of the time he thought very wrong. Oh my waffle's he was missing One Tree Hill. "I'm Bryce Russell." He said to hom. |

Jesse. :) He really liked playing with the statues. Were they animated, they would be very angry with him, though. Walking right up to his favourite statue, he noticed there was still some candy on his nose from when he got stuck on there trying to give the statue a makeover. The statue was an old man in heavy robes. He was holding his hat in his hand and looking straight ahead. Jimbo remembered when he he had to struggle to reach the top of the statue's head. Now, standing at 6ft2 he had no trouble reaching forward and patting the statue on the head. But he wasn't here to pat heads. Pulling out his wand, he pointed it straight at the statue. Last time, he drew on a mustache. This time - it'd be a real mustache. |
Kyle was being her usual quirky self today she had finished collecting random found things. Today she had found a spin top hiding in the first floor, a magical bouncy ball, and a load of broken quills. Holding the quills in her hand she thought what she wanted to do with the them. She didn't realize that someone was there until she looked up and let out a small squeak. "Sorry didn't mean to disrupt your - thingy." She said pointing at the statue she had no idea what he was doing with it - but she was being friendly anyways. |
I must get off in a bit. Quote:
His...thingy. Right. Giving her a bit of a grin, he turned back to the statue and imagined the type of mustache he wanted. Concentrating, he did the spell and then lowered his wand. He watched at the statue grew a thick brown mustache. Chuckling, he put his wand back in his robes and took out a candy from his pocket. Opening the package, he put it in his mouth and spoke at the same time. "No thingies disrupted." Looking over at her once more, he did a double take. "IS THAT A BOUNCY BALL?" |
Kyle watched as the muscatche showed up on the statue, and laughed a bubbly happy laugh. "Thats good that I didn't distract you from your mustacheing" She smiled, looking up as he brought up the bouncy ball. "Oh yeah it is, you want it?" She asked smiling, "I just found it on the first floor - bounced into my head." She smiled. "I'm Kyle Manning by the way - and can I just say you are kinda tall well taller than me and that's nice." Kyle remarked with a smile, she was after all somewhat tall for the girls in her year at a record breaking 5'93/4". |
Quote:
Oh my gosh. She was just going to give away a bouncy ball? Especially after having FOUND it and not PURCHASED it. She was crazy to give it away, but who was he to complain when he was on the receiving end? Who is this generous ravvie? "YES. I want it." He reached out his hand to receive the bouncy ball. Wait. Her name was Kyle? ...that is totally weird. But shoot. Who is HE to say? "My name's Jimbo. Jimbo Farley." Kinda tall? "I'm practically a giant." Especially when he stood beside someone as small as Wesley. Or a first year. Oh man. Those kids were tiny. |
Kyle nodded, "Here you go then" she smiled handing him the ball, with a chuckle. "I have a feeling Peeves probably was the culprit who threw it at me - he likes pelting people with things." She joked. "Nice to meet you Jimbo - is that a nickname by anychance...I know for me my full name is actually Kyleigh Manning- but I like being called Kyle its earlier to write too." She nodded, blushing slightly as she said her full name to him - well leaving out middle names of course because those weren't entirely important. "And I don't know if I'd call you a giant, persay - I've seen taller I think - my dad's friend Mick is nearly 7' tall." She nodded - but then again Mick was half-giant so that probably didn't count. |
Quote:
"Yeah, it's a nickname. My best friend gave it to me when we first met. Said my name was too long." But Jimbo suits him. At this point, even his parents let it slip a couple times, even though they still insisted on calling him Benji. "My full name is Benjamin Farley." Seven feet? Whoa. "But...that's your dad's friend. I'm nowhere as old as he must be. So, it's not the same, really." Taking the bouncy ball from her, the first thing he did was throw it against the floor. Which really was a mistake. The bouncy ball shot from the floor to the ceiling, to the wall, hit about three statues and bounced down the hall, out of sight. Crap. He wanted his bouncy ball. Looking over at the girl, he grinned. "You up for a run, Kyle?" |
Quote:
"A run?" She replied in a playful tone, "Sure thing - you want the ball don't you?" She inferred, smiling "I get it they are fun." |
Quote:
But he couldn't dawdle any longer. Taking a deep breath, he looked over at Kyle - a look that said "Are you ready?". Then he ran off. |
