JP looked down at the Hufflepuff. "Chin up. Everything will be ok. Not to keep pestering you about it cause i know you don't want to tell me. But if you could tell me what it is in regards to if Moretti is busy we could find a professor that could help you better. Like Descoteaux or professor tate i think his name is."

Sigh. The sixth floor corridor. Why was he here again? The boy surely had no clue. But all the same, he walked down in calmly, despite the fact that he was a wreck on the inside. Why did Eirian always seem to have that affect on him? Merlin.. she confused the heck out of him. But of course, he shouldn't care.. she had a boyfriend and all. And Jay.. he was only her friend and nothing more at least while he was around.

SIIIIGGHH.

Not realizing that he had slowly started to drift towards the wall, the boy lifted his blue eyes to see that it was coming close. Deciding he wanted to walk no longer, the boy stopped at the wall, and slumped against it, sliding down until he was sitting along the ground.

Meh.

Simon hoped that no one could here them. "Okay if you really want to know, I'm a Prince of Hollian, it a small country and I have this friend, who I have been friends with since I first started but I never told him I was a Prince and I think I should tell him but I'm scared he wouldn't like me if I told him, then there was last term when my best mate JD left without telling me anything, I have no idea if I did anything wrong or not and then there.." Simon started but stopped. "I think I told you enough already." Simon said truthfully. "You won't tell anyone else will you." Simon hoped that JP wouldn't tell anyone.

JP looked a little surprised. After all it was the first time he had met a prince. "Of course not your majesty" JP smiled and bowed. He only ment it jokingly. Hopefully he didn't take it the wrong way. He had never been good at jokes. he thought to himself. "I probably shouldn't have done that." he regreted it instantly but he was just trying to make the mood lighter. "Anyway." JP stood up blushing slightly at his bad joke. "Of course i won't tell mate. You can trust me I promise. I have heard of this JD character. My good friend Ellie told me about him leaving. I doubt you did anything wrong. you don't seem like the type to do something like that. Thanks for trusting me though. It must have taken a lot to tell me that. The rest will come in time. I wanna help you. But i don't see what the problem here is. I would be happy to be a prince!" JP looked at his new friend with dignity

Simon looked at JP, that was the reason he didn't want people too know." Simon sighed and then realised that JP was joking. "It's okay." He said truthfully. "I am sure I can trust you." Simon was sure he had made another good friend. "Yeah but I can't be sure can I?" Simon sighed. "JD and I got detention and I got out first and didn't wait for JD did I, maybe he hates be because of that." Simon sighed. "I like being a Prince, but if I told Treyen would it scare him or make him hate me." Simon sighed and then there was his missing cousin who Simon wasn't telling JP about just yet, he really should find a Professor but which one should he talk to.

"I'm sorry about the Joke. I am sure you get that a lot. I won't do it again promise." JP smiled at him. "I guess you are right but he is gone now isn't he? No use in dwelling on it. The past is done . All we can think about is now. I am sure if he was really your best mate he would not have thought twice about that. Well i wouldn't at least. Then again don't really know this JD character. I doubt that it would scare your other friend away at all. I mean it isnt everyday you come across a prince but honestly, i don't see you any different. You are still Simon the Third year hufflepuff to me. Don't expect me to treat you any different either" JP winked at him. "Well, here is the thing. we can find a professor, but i still dont understand your problem." JP tried to understand but he didn't know the problem and because of this he didn't know were to lead his new friend to or what professor to talk for that matter.

Simon looked at JP he was going to become a good friend, Simon could tell, maybe he should tell him about his cousin he was about to when JP made him laugh even though he didn't want to. "I wouldn't dream off it." Simon laughed. "I came here to get away from all that, it was like a new start for me." Simon smiled. "I hope your right about JD." Simon said before telling him about his cousin. "It's just my cousin has been missing for ages, I only found out at the end of last term, I just need some advice that all." Simon hoped JP would know which Professor was best just as long as he didn't think about Professor Lafey he didn't like that Professor much.

JP smiled at his success to make his laugh. "Good" He thought to himself.
"Wow, I am really sorry about that. I honestly don't even know what to say besides sorry. Alright." JP sat down to try and think of the best professor to ask. "Well, Most definitely not lafay, she would probably tell you to just get over it and forget about him. I dont think astronomy or herbology or even the History professors would help. I usually go to Truebridge or Descoteaux . But Descoteaux always has millions of students at his office. All the girls fancy him you see." Looking up and explaining why to Simon. "Well, I mean you could always talk to my head of house. he's the quidditch director or maybe even Divniation?" what do you think?

Cassidy wandered down the hall, hands in his pockets, whistling. He stopped suddenly, quirking a brow, when he noticed an older boy sitting against the wall about ten feet ahead. Squinting, Cass realized he knew the boy. It was Miss Eirian's friend...What was his name? J....J....Jay? Jay-something....? Cass snapped his fingers a few times, trying to recall. Jay? Just Jay? That was it. Cass was almost certain. Either way he approached the Gryffindor, stopping directly adjacent from him. Hands still in pockets, Cass was perhaps half a foot in front of the boy, slumping his neck and shoulders forward, looking down at him. He frowned. Something was wrong here. "What's eating you, eh? You look all....sad...ish....." He said awkwardly, offering a forced half-smile to the older male.

Simon suddenly had the best idea, he couldn't believe that he hadn't thought of it before hand. "I know where we are going were going to the History of Magic Professor. Professor Welton." Simon was sure she would help him. "You coming." Simon said as he went off on his way.

The Gryffindor crossed his arms, not wanting to do anything but sit here for the entirty of the day because he was just in a rotten mood and he didn't feel like taking it out on Thiago or Eirian like he knew he would if he came across them. So instead, he's sit here and.. people watch or something.

Just as he was about to use a summoning charm to get hsi pillow from his room, he noticed a young boy starting to approach him. But wait.. he knew this boy. As he grew closer, Jayce noticed it was the boy from the feast. Cassidy was his name, wasn't it? Yeah, it must have been. He forced a smile for him as he stood in front of him.

The Gryffindor shrugged. "Girl troubles, Cass," he sighed. "But i'll get over it," he added, tilting his head back to look up at him.

Cass pouted. "O-Oh..." He didn't know what 'girl troubles' felt like... He slid his foot back and forth on the floor idly, thinking, before sitting beside Jay. He looked at the older male awkwardly. "It's Miss Eiri right?" He tried to look innocent, not really sure if it was okay to ask.

JP was still thinking of ideas on where to go and mostly talking out loud to himself. He heard Simon speak and stopped talking. "If you are sure, then of course i will follow. Let's go" JP followed simon out of the corridor and toward to history professors office.

The Brunette glanced over at the pouting boy. What was he upset about? Huh.. Jayce shrugged it off not sure what to say or ask the boy, but instead stared at the wall opposite of them. It was blank, and boring, paint chipping at the bottom and staring at one little piece that looked like it could fall any moment.

His eyes then wandered down the hallway before having them land back on Cass. The Gryffindor listened the the young boy's words, not knowing how he had known. Was he.. psychic? Maybe.. "Um.. Yeah," He nodded. "It's a.. a long story," he sighed.

"Bye JP!" Chris yelled as she watched her new friend retreat down the corridor with the Hufflepuff boy. "Well. The sixth floor has become a lot more...interesting," she said to Derian, grinning. They went from being alone to the corridor bustling with people. It was crazy. That's Hogwarts for you. "So, you like Ancient Runes? It's my favorite so far. I like charms alot too."

"Jim?!" Ohhhhh that boy was going to get a few words. Yes he was. Who cared if they had been dueling that wasn't the point was it. Nope. "Hmm that could be good. He's good at those. Tried to teach me but...I'm really just that lazy," he said with a smirk. Nothing ever lasted in his head because he didn't want it to.

Right then, at that precise moment, he couldn't have been any happier. "Well now that's just...perfect." He smiled a small smile and looked at her. Wrapping his arms around her tightly he gave he held her. "Don't be sorry. I love you and you're here and that's all I need." As cheesy as that might have sounded it was true. Leaning toward her he kissed her and pulled away with a smile. "And no Sabel didn't say anything about that."

Lexi just nodded at his exclamation that his BEST friend had marred his girlfriend's good looks. He was such a poohead. Jim that is, not Ivan... although... sometimes he was.

Lexi let him hold her and relaxed minutely into his embrace. She was there and that was all he needed? Put pressure on a person much? Sheesh. Was she enough? Probably not. Sighs.

She returned the kiss and the smile and then rolled her eyes at him. Suuuuure Sabel didn't say all kinds of things he ought not to have. Gah. She could just hear Sabel being all... Sabel... about things. Lexi is always making rash decisions... blah blah blah. Yeah and she even heard that in his voice. Odd.

Holding her he only felt her relax a little and pursed his lips. Either she didn't feel comfortable with him or he just made her feel real uncomfortable. Whichever it made him sigh as he let her go.

Seeing the roll of her eyes he laughed and shook his head, "Really he didn't say anything about you being indecisive. He did say you tended to self destruct...and that you," he turned his head to look at her with a warm smile. "That you were hard to handle." Of course that was a factor he liked about her. "And that you think poorly of yourself and sometimes everything else," he said that last on a sigh and wrapped his arm around her. "I don't want to lose you," he said softly as he leaned his head against hers. "I'm not like everyone else and you won't get rid of me that easily so if that's your goal you'll have to try harder," he smirked to show he was teasing and ran a finger down her cheek. "And I personally like that you're hard to handle, makes it a challenge for me which I accept hands down. But there is no reason you should think poorly of yourself. You are the prettiest girl here."

That... was enough wasn't it? He said she SELF DESTRUCTED? Nfmmmm. What a horse's bum! Lexi then pursed her lips and looked at him for a moment before simly nodding her head. Sabel's advice was a bit... much for her to digest.

"I am hardly the prettiest girl here, nowhere near it, but thank you for saying that, babe. Means a lot coming from you. And I am glad you will...let me self destruct or whatever that comment was," she said in a soft voice as she leaned back against him and sighed, relaxing a bit more.

"You really don't mind that I am 'hard to handle'?"

"To me you are." And to him that was all that mattered. His fingers traced the line of the scar on her face and he smiled, "I've never met anyone like you. You've fascinated me since I met you and will always." He smiled as she leaned against him. "And no I won't let you self destruct and if you do I want to be there to help put you back together," he sighed and turned his head. Kissing her cheek he smiled, "Like I said you can't get rid of me." He chuckled lightly and watched her.

"Absolutely not. It's fun. I like when you give me a hard time about my clothes or...my unwillingness to do things." He gave her another squeeze and grinned, "It means you care enough to bother with me and I'll take that any day."

Lexi closed her eyes as he traced the scar under her eye and smiled. She remembered how he reacted the first time he saw her scars. That had made her feel less like a freak than anyone ever had. "You really flatter me, Ivan" she said quietly. "But... what if I can't stop it. What if it just happens?" she asked with a slight note of something like fear in her voice. "And I was never trying to get rid of you. That stuff with him... something happened before I met you... it was all unresolved," she admitted to him. Not that she had to worry about it now... he had resolved it.

"I just want you to break out of your shell and experience life, Ivan. Worrying about getting dirty is not the way to live," she said as she tried to rub a spot of dirt off of her shoe.

Ivan smiled as he heard her speak, "Well that is the intention." Smirking he dropped his hand from her face and grabbed her closest hand pulling her closer to him. "Then we'll deal with it as it comes. I'm not going to leave you just because you think everything will come crashing around you." He looked thoughtful for a moment blowing off her statement about what happened between the Slythie and her prior. He was over that. "It was a joke sweetie." Squeezing her hand he smiled, "I've got it. Ok consider me your constant. The stability of the world around you because you're happy with me right? So, if things get rough we'll go hide somewhere. Just you and me and I'll take care of you. Because I will always be there for you."

He smiled at her explanation and then broke out into a full laugh as she tried to get dirt off her shoes. "Uh huh. And I worry about dirt. And for the record you have broken me out of my shell. I've not only touched a furball that seemed to want to bite me I also jumped into a lake with you, gotten kneed for my efforts, and gotten cookie dough on me. Ruined 2 sets of clothes that way but...I'll admit, well aside from the last, it was worth it." He smiled at her and gave a shrug, "I have fun when I'm with you."

Lexi swallowed hard. He would ALWAYS be there for her. He couldn't keep that promise. She had heard it before. And quite recently to be honest. They were always promising her things they couldn't live up to. She kept all of those thoughts from her face though and let him pull her closer. "The world has crashed around me. I hope it never happens again, because I have been working really hard to clean it all up lately... and it doesn't seem to be working," she said quietly.

Blinking a few times she realized just how ironic she was being right then. "You really never had much fun before? Your life, no offense, sounds dreadfully... boring. We should go some place fun over the holidays. An amusement park or sommat. Go somewhere and have an adventure. I am good at getting lost and having fun," she said happily. Perhaps they could simply venture around London. That in and of itself would be interesting. They hadn't left the Diagon Alley area the last time they stayed there.

"I also like Charms, but only because its something that can be immediately applied. Like that Mizurus boru spell we just learned, I have a few ideas for that spell already that include Rafe... Like, for instance, if I did it to his shoe, he could be walking around in little pools of his own sweat for as long as the spell was active... stuff like that." He smirked. If Charms continued to teach him these handy (and prank-worthy) spells, Derian would be delightfully busy all semester long.

Finally, he could start to get some payback from his prank-happy brother.

"Very creative. You better tell me so I can get a front row seat for that," she said. Just because she was trying to be nice to Rafe didn't mean she couldn't enjoy watching him suffer a bit.
