JP laughed a little.
"Well considering you are the first i have met so far id say if all of them were like you then i would like the gryffindor first years a lot!" JP smiled at her.
"Don't be nervous at all! The classes may seem hard at first but i promise they get easier and the professors try their best to help you when they can. One bit of advice i will give you is to try and get on your professors good sides. I am actually trying to meet with the Ancient Runes Professor. He has accomplish basically everything i want to do with my life after hogwarts. Hopefully he can give me pointers"


JP looked over to the hufflepuff who had just appeared. He seemed really upset so JP walked over to try and see if he could help in anyway.
"Hey, You ok?"

Simon looked up he hadn't realised that there was someone already up here, he was scared that they would tell someone that they saw him crying well if they did he wouldn't mind. "I'm fine." Simon lied, he didn't want to say anything to the Ravenclaw because he hadn't met him before and he wouldn't want to know what was wrong anyway.

JP was a little taken aback by the hufflepuff's quick brush off but knew he was upset so he tried still to be nice.
"Are you sure? You look as though you have been crying. It's really ok. I won't go yelling down the corridors about it I promise. He have Licorice Wand. They are pretty good and some candy always cheers me up" JP tried to give the kid a smile.

"I'm totally stoked! Once I realized I was more than any muggle could hope to be, I was eager to begin immediately. Between then and now, it feels like its been ages since I first arrived. I want to learn some magic!" He grinned, resisting the urge to do that one hand sign that American surfers were so known for doing. "I am really excited for Potions, though, and Ancient Runes as well. The professor in that class seems so cool. What about you, JP?"

It was as if JP read his mind. Making the hand sign so only Derian could see Jp laughed. "Both of the classes i was excited about started early. Ancient Runes and Charms. I was more excited about Ancient Runes though. I have a feeling it will be my favorite class. I am excited for potions , however Lafay scares me so i don't know. I feel like i might do bad in that class just cause she is so intimidating."

Simon looked at the boy, he had no idea who he was and he had no idea what to say to him, he really couldn't just say what was wrong because he was sure the boy would run off, "I'm fine." Simon said. "It's just...well you wouldn't be able to help." Simon said trying not to offend the boy. "I'm Simon Leonarder De Simpson, but all my friends call me Simon." He said, he took the Licorice wand and said. "Thanks." he wondered who the boy was he hadn't met him before.

Melrose was bored. As bored as bored could be. How bored could bored be? That is something she wanted to know right at that moment. You Hogwarts has seemed to change her now. She feels different but not in a good way. But maybe in a bad way but she doesn't know yet. What was up with her. One minute she felt all snobbish like. She was not that selfish or snobby. Was she? Maybe Hogwarts was really changing her but she didn't have that many friends yet and she wanted to make some friends.This was not good at all. Not one bit for Melrose.

"[/B] Are you sure? I could always try! Trust me me and my mom have seen a lot hanging around with my dad. He had tons of weird curses and hexes cast on him when he'd get home from work. Me and my mom have been getting pretty good at countercurses and healing and such. Oh sorry."
JP shook his head. He had been rambling and forgot to introduce himself.
"JP, JP Santos. Second Year Ravenclaw. Oh and don't worry about the wand. They are my favorite. I carry loads with me. My mom sends me tons with the post.[B]" JP smiled at Simon.

Simon looked at JP. "I'm sure." He said truthfully. "I am sure you wouldn't be able to help me, it's got nothing to do with Hex or anything, it's just I've got a friend who I talk to loads but he doesn't know this secret that I've been carrying around with me since I came to Hogwarts." Simon sighed. "I'm in my third year." Simon said, he wondered who his head of house maybe he could get help there but first he would have to find out who it was.

Ivan walked down to the floor below with his hands in his pockets and nothing near a smile on his face. Yeah he suggested she join him but as he headed down here he realized that probably wasn't such a good idea. He hadn't talked to her since their talk at the willow and he didn't know what had happened. For all he knew she would come down here tell him they were through and really make his day. Not.

Walking down the hall he looked around. This hall wasn't nearly as exciting as some of the others and his morose mood made it even less exciting. Finding a bench he sat down and leaned his head back against the wall, closing his eyes, and wondering if she would even show up.

Lexi came from the stairs and spotted Ivan immediately. She stuck her hands in her pockets as well. Inching closer she sighed softly. He looked like he was in a terrible mood. No doubt because of her. SIGHS.

Pulling her hands back out of her pockets she tried to arrange her hair around her antlers and pretend that they weren't there. Yeah. Good luck with that. Clearing her throat once she smiled softly and said, "Hey there."

Hearing someone walk toward him he opened one eye and spotted Lexi. Alright, time to get this over with. Hopefully things fell out in his favour but ever the pessimist he was he didn't think they would. Sitting up he stretched and gathered his remaining self esteem. Yup. He could do this.

As she came nearer he stood up and looked at her carefully. "Hey..." His eyes landed on her head and his eyebrows drew down in a frown. Where those... "What is wrong with your head?" And who did it because they were so going to regret that.

Lexi was not in the least surprised when his eyes went straight to the atrocity on her head. Figures. Chuckling slightly she said, "Doesn't it give me some character? These are antlers... duh. The result of a duel... I obviously lost it." That went without saying, didn't it.

She reached out for his hand and smiled sweetly at him. "Wanna sit with me?" she asked timidly. She was sure he was afraid of how this was going to go... Salander had made her decision easy though. Seemed she had burnt that bridge. Not that she had wanted to hurt anyone... she just did. Like always. She hurt everyone it seemed.

"[/B]Oh. Well we can talk about it if you'd like. I promise i won't tell anyone. I'm sure i've heard worse. And by the way Moretti the Healer is the head of house for hufflepuff. I think he office should be in the hospital wing." JP was surprised the third year didn't know who his head of house was. No matter. It was a big castle after all. "I am sure if he is your friend he won't mind at all. There is this muggle saying that my cousin shared with me. How does it go again. I think it went something like the ones who will care do not matter and the ones who matter will not. Hope that makes you feel better?" JP was trying his best to make the kid feel better he seemed upset. And out of the corner of his eye he saw Ivan. That kid was vile. He had some sort of hatred toward JP. Again, no matter he probably brought it upon himself. "Wanna try and find her office?[B]" He asked the hufflepuff.

Simon looked at the Ravenclaw. "I'm well I'm." He had no idea how to say it what if this kid ran off and told everyone, his life would be ruined. "I can't tell you, I hardly know you." Simon sighed, he really hoped that the Ravenclaw wouldn't mind him saying it, it's just he had no idea what to say. "I'll look for her later." Simon said truthfully at least he knew now who his head of house was, he couldn't believe he couldn't remember who it was.

"Uhh...yeah...character" If she said so. "I see. Someone had a sense of humour then it seemed," he said still looking at them. So bizarre and he didn't even know the spell to reverse that. Hell he didn't even know the spell to CAUSE that.

His eyes were pulled from her antlers as she grabbed his hand. Here we go. Seriously if that voice was his conscience he had the worst one in the world. "Yeah," he said sitting back down his hand still in hers. "Those are going to be gone soon right?" he said momentarily distracted by the antlers again. Weird...very weird.

Elliott roamed the corridors of the sixth floor. He was actually trying to figure out some more of the little nooks and crannies of Hogwarts because apparently, they were endless. So he roamed on. Roam, roam, roam. That was, however, until he passed a somewhat familiar face. Hmmm... he'd seen her in the halls, yes, but what else? ... Aha! The train. He had met her on the train and the girl's name was Melrose, if his memory served him correctly.

"Hey.. Melrose, right?" He gave a genial smile and pocketed his hands.

"Yeah. Sense of humor. He didn't reverse the spell. The git," she said with a hint of humor in her voice. She had gotten used to them. Shaking her head slightly she smiled again.

Lexi took a seat and gripped his hand tightly and smiled.

Wait. Really? Rolling her eyes she said, "Seriously. I am trying to tell you I don't need anymore time because I want you and all you can focus on is my antlers. If you must know... I am working on finding the counterjinx. If I can't figure it out for myself I will go to my opponent and ask him to remove them and teach me the jinxand the counter. I am going to be working on nonverbals also." Did he get that? She was sure that was only what he heard. The good stuff.

" Completely understandable. We did just meet. I won't bother you about it if you don't wish to speak about it." Jp looked over to him. "So, How are your classes going?" He tried to change the subject. maybe talking about something else would make the kid feel better.

Melrose looked up and down the corridor and then she saw a face she knew well at least that is what she thought. His name was Elliot? Right? Yes and he knew her name well he remembered her name so that must be a good thing. Melrose smiled her famous soft and sweet smiled she always gave any guy.

"Hello...Elliot." Melrose said in her French accent. "Don't worry you are right about the name." Melrose told him.

Simon looked at the Ravenclaw. "I do want to speak about it, I just don't think it's fair telling you before I tell my friend." Simon sighed. "Classes are going okay." Simon couldn't forget about what was worring him though, he really wished he had someone to talk to. "I think we should try and find the Hufflepuff Head of House maybe she could help.

He really wanted to touch the antlers and had to stop himself from reaching up to do just that. They were just so...weird. "Well who did it? I'll go tell them to undo it." Yup he could be intimidating when he wanted to be and he figured he had to be for Lexi to have been bested like that.

As she sat down next to him he pulled his eyes from her antlers again to see her rolling her eyes and speaking only catching the first part. Did he hear that right? "You want me?" Something in him felt about ready to explode with happiness and a smile formed on his lips. "You want me." YES! Finally. He could get rid of this god awful silence between them and his avoidance of her because he had a hard time keeping his hands to himself when they were together. Case in point, now. He reached over with his other hand and pulled her close to him. "I'm glad because I've been absolutely miserable without you being around to nag me," he said with a smirk and kissed her.

Lexi smirked slightly. "Jim did it to me actually," she said softly. No need to tell him what else he had caused. Stupid Jim. Really she couldn't blame him too much, but she totally would. "I want him to teach me nonverbals and the jinxes he used against me," she said honestly.

"That's what I said wasn't it?" she said with a little look that clearly said DUH. "Look I am really sorry. I am constantly doind stupid stuff. I am sure Sabel had enough to say about my decision making skills... or lack thereof," she said softly. There was no accusation there. He was usually right. Whether Lex wanted to hear it or not.

"That's fair Mate. i understand, That's good that classes are going well. Anyone in particular you like the best?"
JP heard him say he wanted to look for the head of house but he had no idea how exactly to get into contact with her. How logical was it to make the healer the head of house. If she was busy with injured people how could she speak to her students? "Oh well. The headmaster knew what he was doing and i'll trust his judgment" jp said to himself. "Alright then, let's go look for her then"

Simon wondered if his Head of House would be busy, maybe he should speak to another Professor but he didn't know which one he would want to talk to so he decided his Head of House would be best.

Simon got up from where he was sitting and started to wipe away his tears that was starting to stop, whoever said that Ravenclaw where mean hadn't meet anyone like JP. suddenly he was feeling sad again as he remembered that JD his best friend last year had left without saying goodbye, so who knew if he could trust a Ravenclaw though he was sure he could trust JP. "I'm ready." Simon sighed.
