Lexi folded her long legs and plopped into the floor opposite Mia, all smiles and such. "Studying... ugh. I cannot wait for the summer. Beaches, blue oceans, and just Salander and I... NO STUDYING," she said giggling again as she unholstered her wand and summoned her things to her.

"What has me so happy? Sal. Can't say I have been this happy... ever..." Lexi said dreamily as she dug through her bag for some chapstick. TOTALLY unaware that this may be a weird convo...

Yeah she couldn't wait for the summer also. Although there might not be any beaches where she was going. But there was going to be Nik and Pepper and that's all Mia needed.

Wait!

Salander?

Mia blinked a couple of times at Lexi. "You and Sal?" She belatedly remembered the conversation between herself and Sal before the tea party and how he had mentioned that he was taking Lexi. "So you and Sal are a couple now?"

Wow he certainly didn't take long to move on. After all that hassle he gave her about Nik.

Finally finding the tube of chapstick, totally missing the blinking, Lexi looked up and nodded happily. "Yeah. We made it official at the tea party... I finally made him see that I never meant to hurt him before... I care greatly for him. Have for quite some time now. But... there was always something coming between us," Lexi said with a shrug as she applied the lip stuffs and then stuck it back in her bag.

"How are you and that Durmstrang guy doing?" she asked with a big smile.

"I see." Mia said slowly as she watched Lexi apply her chapstick. "And you and Salander have had unresolved feelings for each other for how long?" She remembered seeing the two of them in Diagon Alley and the train where she'd chucked a tantrum at Salander.

Mia pushed the hair off her face. "Nikolai." She said giving Lexi a smile of her own. "We're doing very well. Great in fact. Been together almost a year now."

Lexi let a shrug roll off of his shoulders. "Never asked him how long for him... but I had been thinking a lot about him before we kissed in Diagon. Why are you so interested, may I ask? Not that it really matters... there just seems to be something, perhaps under the surface here," Lexi said as she gathered her things and looked at the little Huffie curiously.

"Good for you two. GLad to hear it." She gave a genuine smile.

Sighs. If Mia was going to hate on her being with Sal she may as well just leave now. No one was going to bring her down from this high. Sal made her happy, she made him happy, so people were going to have to deal with it or ignore it, really. In fact, Lexi stood back up and looked down at the girl for a moment and sighed heavily.

Heaving a sigh of her own, Mia rubbed at her forehead. "I apologise Lexi for coming off that way. I'm happy for you. Really I am. It's just that..." Maybe she should just keep her mouth shut. Stay out of it. This wasn't like her to get involved. But it seemed Lexi had already picked up on...well stuff.

"Look not so long ago Sal gave me a really hard time about me being with Nik. Told me there were plenty of great guys right under my nose." She gave Lexi a meaningful look, she didn't think she needed to spell it out anymore than that.

Mia sighed again and also stood up. "Obviously he's moved on and good for him. I hope you two are really happy together."

Lexi simply chuckled and gave her a shrug. "Well it wasn't that long ago that I was with Ivan and I still had feelings for Salander. Whatever... or whoever was in his life before me is hardly any of my business," she said with a shake of her head.

Still shaking her head she simply turned and began to walk off. "Thanks for the sentiment, Mia." She should have KNOWN that a friend of Marie's would try to make her feel like Salander and she had... SOMETHING wrong with them.

Well come Hell or high water, she would prove them wrong. She and Sal were going to last. And they could get on board or get the hell on.

Yep. Totally should have stayed out of it. That's what you get for trying to be nice.

Sighing again, Mia picked up her bag and headed in the opposite direction. Oh well. It seemed that they were the perfect match for each other then. They both had feelings for other people when they were with someone else.

Elle wandered around school since classes just ended. She found it quite relaxing, strolling along a corridor with many students not hurrying. The intricate designs of the shingles, the old and antique art of the place. All amazed her.

Clutching her books around her arms, the redhead closed her eyes and breathed in the smell of Hogwarts. It smelled like a mixture of pine, apples, grass, salty lake and many more delicious fragrances that would make the stomach rumble.

She opened her emerald eyes and kept walking. Stumbling a bit, she dropped some of her books. Elle slowly bent down to retrieve her fallen books...

Snort. He could tell by facial expressions she was teasing him, but Anakin wondered if there wasn't some truth to what she said. He really knew nothing about muggle things, and he'd been pretty lax with attending his classes so far this year. Heh. That was probably pretty unacceptable, and his Da would kill him if he knew..."Do they teach about this Dr. Seuss and...Dark Mador?" He believed that was what she had referred to him that first time when they met. Seemed a silly name to him.

Heh. "Not if I'd like to keep my face pretty." Of course, he was joking about the 'pretty' part. But he couldn't help but think there might be SOME truth to maybe getting beat up...Hufflepuffs were cool, but some seemed rather eccentric in their house pride. Maybe that was true of every house though? Or maybe it was the loyalness coming out? He really had no idea. Unless you tried to make them that way? "So I suppose my trying to come up with a stupid question to prove you wrong wouldn't work...because it'd be seen as trying to make it stupid?" Bummer. It might have been fun.

Why did she seem so surprised? Tilting his head slightly, he gave a small nod. "Yeah, we live in the country." In Ireland. And the were basically surrounded by fields, and no one was around there property. Just the way his Da liked it.

Lyta walked into the second floor. She wasn't wearing her school robes,instead she was wearing a black t-shirt and a simple brown pants. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She didn't think any student here would dare tattle tale,so she leaned up againts the wall and started doing push-ups.

Vashti couldn't help the laugh that escaped her when he mentioned "Dark Mador". "You mean 'Darth Vader,'" she corrected with a grin. "But no, there hasn't been a lesson on them yet." Not that she knew of, anyway. But wouldn't that be an awesome class, talking about Dr. Suess and Darth Vader? "Maybe I'll suggest it to the professor sometime." Oh yes, she'd definitely have to do that.

She only raised her eyebrows and tried not to laugh at his "keeping his pretty face" comment. Were Hufflepuffs really that violent? She never would've guessed that. They were great at Quidditch, but she never thought of them as violent. Learn something new every day, don't we? "Exactly," she answered with a nod.

He lived in the country too? Merlin. "I want your backyard." How awesome would it be to have a pitch in her backyard? Extremely awesome, that's how.

Darth Vador? Anakin couldn't decide if that was better, or worse than Dark Mador. Maybe a little better. Vador had a V, and V's looked cooler than M's. Merlin he was good at weird comparisons. Turning slightly red, he laughed his mistake off, "Yeah, him." Wouldn't be good to dwell on stupidity. A lesson on those he would definitely attend. "I'll definitely make it for that class."

Glancing at his muggle watch, slightly surprised at the time that had passed, Anakin stretched slightly, pushing himself off the ground and brushing off the seat of his robes, Anakin looked back to her in time to catch her say she wanted his back yard. Chuckling slightly, Anakin grinned, "I'll share it with you." But he was not giving it up. Nope nope, noooope.

"Well, I guess I'd better go."

Yes, he had better make it for a class on Dr. Suess/Darth Vader if there was one. Because what would be the point in it if he wasn't attending since she was suggesting it because of him?

Only sharing? Well, that was the next best thing to actually having it herself, Vashti supposed. Sharing was caring, right? Right.

She quickly got to her feet as well - Merlin, sitting in the same spot for so long made her bottom fall asleep - and nodded. "Yeah, me too. Need to go finish some homework. See you later?"

Anakin winced slightly at the mention of homework. Of course he had to do that too, but he'd really rather just have skipped on that and read for awhile or something. Not tooooo much brain power. Giving a slight nod, Anakin moved to give her a quick hug. "For sure, and thank you." For not treating him differently, for feeling she could talk to him. All that stuff.

Giving one last smile and a wave of the hand, Ani set off.

She was almost there!!! almost!... and yet it was still quite far. Stopping breifly Emily adjusted the muggle girls hold on her neck and continued down the corridor toward Professor Tates office.

Emily looked over her shoulder to make sure Professor Vindictus wasn't too far behind...

On the way out of Hadley's office, Jake folded up the parchment and tucked it into his pocket, thinking about where he could go next. Hmmmm...

Part of him considered looking for Neptune.

Well.

All of him considered it.

Sooooooo... he set off down the corridor... on the way up to the seventh floor, figuring it to be the best place to look for a Ravenclaw. They hovered near their common room, right?

Well...Josh was bored. Since he neither was interested nor cared about those finals and everyone else, including his friends, seemed to be freaking out over them, the Gryffindor boy had been kinda alone during that certain period of the term. Yet this, of course, did not mean he was unhappy or else for his usual over confidence, coolness with the cheerful and predominant demeanor were back since his relationship with Evelyn seemed to be on its right track again.

So with that very familiar smirk of his, the lion boy was looking for something to keep himself busy and entertained and with just that certain intention he walked in the second floor corridor where he hoped to find a Ravenclaw or a prefect to make fun of have a conversation with. Yet even the corridors seemed to be empty during the final exams days. Pffft. Did not people have anything else to do other than dealing with exams? And did not they...whaaaaa?!

The boy halted where he was when his dark brown eyes spotted a Huffie closeby. A familiar Huffie whom he had not seen since that certain incident in the Entrance Hall. Yeah. And was not it his girlfriend who dared to stupefy him in the 'Claws Party? Yes, that 'Claw was his girlfriend. He had heard it from...someone he could not remember now.

''Jakie!'' Josh called happily while taking slow steps closer to the Hufflepuff boy. Oh, he was so sure the stunner girlfriend would not like it if something had happened his lovey dovey sweetheart. ''Howdy Captain Jakie! What do you think you are doing in my territory? Do you have a request of some kind? If that's the case then i recommend you the Girls' Bathroom there!''

Oh.

Great.

"Your territory?" he repeated, raising an eyebrow. WhatEVER, Joshua Carter. "What are you talking about… 'girl's bathroom'?"

As soon as he said that, Jake suddenly remembered what Neptune told him had transpired at that party.

Something about this guy always made Josh laugh...something was always funny with him. Maybe it was just how he looked or the attitude or whatever he was funny. ''Why so rude 'Upstead, Lawson, Morgan, double-triple names, who knows which family he belongs to' man? I have just greeted you have not you heard it? You should have greeted me back.'' Narrowing his eyes a little at the Hufflepuff, Josh took a few steps closer.

''Yeah. Exactly. My territory. You are in my territory.'' And what was with that dirty smile of him? The Gryffindor boy could not see anything from his point to grin at. If this guy dared to grin at him in such a way it meant he was looking for a tad bit of trouble but the lion boy was in no day to punch anyone this time. He was performing his daily exercises. So the little badger was just so lucky today.

''What's with the stupid smile Jakey? You are not asking for a free plastic surgery on your face, are you?'' Well...everybody knew Josh was good at reshaping body parts when requested.

Okay.

So.

Jake's grin faded ever-so-slightly when Josh made the comment about not knowing which family he belonged to. That was just a little too close to home.

He raiiiiiised an eyebrow at Josh, and that was when he realised it.

He didn't care. He just didn't.

"Listen to me, Joshua," Jake said quietly, and in a none too friendly tone. It was quite sinister, actually. "If you think I'm scared of you, you have another think coming. In fact, why don't you carry on being a jerk, there's something else you have coming..."

He trailed off. No... hitting Josh would be stupid, even if he had nothing to lose from it. Jake leaned back again and just smirked.

"Forget it, why don't you just run along like a good little boy, 'kay?"

Cue condescending smile.

Oh, so he had things coming ha? This and the little badger's other words, of course, only made the Gryffindor pretend to shiver in a highly exeggerated way only to tease him. ''Ah, please Jakey! I am so scared!''. Right after a quick laugh at his own sarcasm, Josh shoke his head with an apparent incredulous expression on his face. Apparently this guy never learnt his lessons well or maybe it was a Hufflepuff problem in general. Perhaps he was too dumb to get them. Whatever it was Josh did not care for he was not his 'How to behave around' tutor.

''Well...actually in a way all of those were slightly impressive Jake. Yeah, i'm serious. Impressive. So you can be happy about it.'' grinning as the Hufflepuff did, Josh tucked his hands into his pockets ''But i have not come for trouble this time. Then what you have in your...fanciful head can wait for now. There are things you need to hear about...''

Yeah, maybe it meant being that good boy he had mentioned yet that could be overlooked this time. And the fact his girlfriend attacked him. That could be overlooked, too. Especially if Jake himself made his sweetheart to attack him. That was just pathetic and pathetic people needed to be encouraged for their lives. ''You know, since i have come this school there always has been a fuss between us. And now we are older and as far as i am concerned you won't be returning next year. So, i just felt like saying that i am not happy about what i have done to you so far. And i am being honest about it. So, i wanted to apologise before you leave. Of course i am not expecting us to love each other and become best friends'' Pffft. He hoped that the Huffie did not get it that way ''I neither expect nor want such a thing. I just thought it would not be so good to leave this place with bad memories in mind.''

Hmmm...was that enough? Meh. Even much more than this dude deserved.

Josh never shut up, did he?

Standing there, looking pretty weary about the encounter, Jake waited for him to finish. Hm. Good points.

Shame Jake didn't believe any of them.

He rocked back on his heels and stuck his thumbs in the pockets of his jeans. Laiiiik a cowboy.

"Apology..." he started, nodding sincerely. "... not accepted. Was there anything else?" Jake had important things to do. Hyup.

Just standing still Josh neither had any movement nor reacted to the Hufflepuff boy's attitude even ignored that seemingly bored and uninterested air he assumed during the short period of time that the Gryffindor spoke explaining the apology. Yeah, there was no doubt that it was extremely rude but Josh never even thought of seeing any positive reaction from him but...

...at least he could push or force some temporary sense in his brain, if he had one of course, for once and accept the apology for many good reasons. First of all; it was the apology of Josh Carter who was the Master of Everything and rarely apologised for such things. Secondly; he was already leaving and perhaps was not going to see him again so there was no point in keeping the hostility. Meh.

Directly staring at the other boy's face, Josh slightly smirked and raised his eyebrows ''Now. Who is being the jerk now?'' then clearing his throat the lion boy went on ''Well...we both have names beginning with letter 'J' and have four letters in it. Just like the word 'Jerk'. So, both of us might have been a jerk in certain times. But, right now, adding your last behaviour and seeing the extra 'k' you have which is in common with the 'k' in Jerk, you are much more of a jerk that i can ever be. It has just been proved.''

Mwahahahahahahaha!

"Me? Jerk?" Jake griiiiiiinned. "If you think I'm going to accept that apology for your peace of mind, you really do have another think coming. I don't believe you're sorry at all. If you didn't like all the things you did, why did you do them?"

And yeah... okay, Josh was REALLY dumb if he believed what he was saying.

"Wait, waitwaitwait. You believe that the amount of letters in a name in relation to other words has anything to do with how a person acts? Aww, I pity your idiocy," Jake nodded, cocking his head to one side. Bless.
