Feeling like her heart was going to jump out if her throat when Matty put his finger on her lips she started to once again bite on her lower lip. Oh he was good at this... but not good enough. What did she want him to do? Like he didn't know. She offered to let him taste her lip gloss after all. "You mean you're not willing to take a chance and see what happens here? Are all Puffs afraid to go after what they want like you are?" Seriously, if the boy wanted to kiss her all he had to do was lean in just a little bit. He was like right there... within reach of what he wanted.

*Matty leaned in closer but stopped right before and shook his head a little. Nice try on Marie's part but the guiltily or be a man speech wouldn't work on him. They both knew that she was side stepping his question. He was so close but he whispered.*
"Don't dance around it... Admit it... and I will..."

Marie felt her heart skip a beat as Matty leaned in and... shook his head? How long could this boy hod out on her? "I'm not dancing around anything here. Why don't you just go for what you want, hmm?" She then licked her lips as she reached up and straightened his collar... letting her hand linger on his shoulder.

Hmm. Finlay was feeling a little bored, and it was just a little upset that Marie was probably all the way down in the dungeons, which was quite silly. Why on earth had he agreed to give Marie all of his sweets, he must have been very deluded right then. But at least he could go find her now. Although He did hear something a bit weird when he was wondering past the room of requirement. That sounded exactly like Marie. And that was bad too, when had he come to be able to recognize her voice. Not good, but at least he had found her now.
And the door was open. That was pretty epic. Finn pushed the door open a bit more, but really wasn't expecting to see what he saw. Oh....Awkward. He coughed a bit, as he leant against the doorframe. Now...would they realize that he was there?

*Matty sighed and rolled his eyes. She was thinking he would back down but by not admitting it she was the one who lost.*
"Admit it-"
*Matty then heard a noise. His eyes moved to the door.*

*It was the Ravenclaw prefect. Matty didn't mind but the bloke did not look happy either way Matty didn't move. He just closed his eyes and smiled.*
"Hello prefect Carmicheal."

Marie just knew that Matty was gonna break now. There was no way the boy could hold out any longer. She was so going to win this little... whatever it was they had going on here. "Admit what?" Hearing a cough her she spun her head towards the door just as Matty said hello to... FINN!

Dropping her hand down to her side she slid out from between Matty and the wall. Well this was certainly an awkward situation. "Hey Finn."

*Matty couldn't keep the smile off of his face. When Marie moved away he just turned around, leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. A smug smile on his lips. He had won this match but then he saw the look on Marie's face. It wasn't hard to see the look between the prefect and her. The guy looked upset, Matty thought it was just catching students in an odd spot but now... A string of curses to himself ran in his mind. Looking down he grabbed his things. Not really looking at either he said.*
"I better go... umm... yeah..."

*When did Matty turn so cold and up for playing hurtful games? That wasn't like him... or was it?*

Now...That was really interesting. It looked like Matty and Marie were about to play a little bit of tonsil tennis, and Finlay was pretty sure that it was against the rules. Maybe that was why they were in here though? Mmm. Yes. Finn was pretty glad that he had interrupted them, although he was surprised that Matty hadn't just ignored him, and got on with it. Because that was exactly what Finn would have done. Maybe he could show Matty how to do it?

It seemed like a good idea, especially considering how Marie was not out of the Matty, and wall sandwich. Finn wondered further into the room, before standing next to Marie. "Hello Marie...Hey Matty." He grinned at the both of them. "Seemed you two are getting....close."

Marie was too busy looking at Finlay to notice the smile on Matty's face. Yes, he had won, she backed out of the kiss first. But seeing Finn standing there she knew it was totally worth it. She should have never let this little game go as far as it had. Hearing Matty say he was leaving brought her back to reality. "You don't have to go Matty. This is your room after all."

Turning back to Finn once he was standing next to her she reached out and grabbed his hand. "It's not what it looked like." Okay, maybe it was what it looked like. "We weren't really getting close. More like... seeing how close we couldn't get." If that even made any sense. She would totally get that close with Finn though, and she wouldn't hesitate at all in letting him know what she wanted.

Matty was going? Aww. He hadn't meant for the guy to think that he had to go. Totally not. He just didn't want Matty kissing Marie. Oh no. Not at all. "You don't have to go Matty..." Nope. He wasn't about to like make the guy think he had to go. Finn wasn't a mean prefect like that. Although he did want to steal Marie away, so maybe that was a bit mean. Oh well. He was pretty sure Matty wouldn't mind, that much anyway. They could hang out together later? He'd suggest that.

But he did get a bit distracted when he felt Marie grab his hand, and he turned to face her properly. It wasn't what it looked like? Finn didn't speak, but let her explain. But....he was a bit confused. "Marie...that made no sense at all." No wonder that girl was blonde.

Marie glanced back over at Matty to see if he was going to stay or go. She still felt bad for what she had done but there was nothing she could do to change it now. Hopefully this wasn't going to put a strain on their newly found friendship.

Of course what she said didn't make any sense to FInn. He hadn't been there to see... or hear everything that happened. "I... we... were just..." Oh hell. No matter what she said it probably still wouldn't make any sense so she just shut up and did what she knew made sense. Looking from Finn's eyes to his lips and back to his eyes she put her arms around his neck, leaned in and kissed him. Totally oblivious to the fact that Matty was still standing there she let her lips linger in Finn's enjoying the moment.

Finn had kind of forgotten about Matty now, because well he didn't really care if the guy went or not. Although part of him was hoping that he would leave them alone, because he really did have a feeling that something very interesting was going to happening soon. But then again...he never did mind having an audience. He was a bit of a performer. Even if in this moment, he probably should've wanted some privacy.

Hmm. But Marie couldn't seem to explain what she was trying to explain, which kind of make Finn think that she was lying a little bit, trying to cover something up. "Marie..." He started, but then just stopped at watched her. There wasn't much he could say really, because she could do what she wanted. Which was apparently kiss him. It was kind of a little surprising to him, but a very nice surprise. Finn grinned against her lips, wrapping his arms around her waist. Hmm....He understood what she was trying to explain now. Actions must definitely speak louder than words.

*Now it was Matthias's turn to feel awkward. While they kissed Matty stepped out and closed the door letting them be alone. Leaning his head against the cool wall for a moment he sighed. After a minute he stood up, cleared his face of emotions, smiled and walked down the hall. Even though he was pretty sure he didn't care for Marie like Finn did at the moment he couldn't help but have a feeling of loneliness wash over him.
Walking back down to the Hufflepuff common room he figured that he would get his nap there.*

Marie's heart was racing and her stomach was doing flips as Finn put his arms around her and kissed her back. Breaking away from the kiss she looked into his eyes. "That's what wasn't going on here." Realizing that Matty was now gone she gave Finn another quick kiss. "So Mr. Prefect. what do you want to do now?" More snogging would be good.

This really had turned out quite well. Finlay had been wanting to kiss Marie for quite a while now, so yes, he was very happy right now. Finn grinned at her as she broke away, and he glanced around, noticing that Matty was gone now. Hmm. That was good, he had a feeling that Matty really didn't want to be watching what would be going on. "Well...Im glad that wasn't going on." Very glad. Marie was all his. Finn laughed at what she said, thinking about it for a few moments.

"Well...I think that explanation might need to go into a bit more detail..."

When Marie first woke up this morning with that splitting headache she would have never guessed that her day would be turning out like this. She knew that later she would have to find Matty to make sure he was okay... and listen to him brag about how he won that little whatever it was, but for now she was content with explaining to Finn what wasn't happening when he walked in. "I think you may be right." she said as she leaned in and gave him another kiss. This one with a little more passion than the last one.

There was only one thing about this. Marie was Jimmy's ex, so Finlay really shouldn't have been kissing her. Especially after what happened the last time he had snogged one of his best friends exs. The thing was he really could not resist the temptation. Marie was really hot, and was just as willing to kiss him. He'd take the consequences later, although he had a feeling that Jimmy wasn't going to be that bothered.
Finn smirked at her reply. Yes. He was definitely right. Finlay Carmicheal was always right, especially when it got him another kiss. Oh he was liking this an awful lot. Even though...he had come in to tell her off for nearly kissing Matty. Oh how that event had changed, and he had totally forgetten what he had even been going out the common room for. Oh well.

It was a bit strange kissing Jimmy's best friend at first but Marie quickly got over that feeling. It had been a month since she broke up with Jimmy so it wasn't like she couldn't kiss who she wanted to... and Finlay was the one she wanted to kiss. Even though she was enjoying that kiss very much she slowly broke away. "So, what exactly brought you to this room?" Had he stumbled upon the open door just like she had?

Somewhere in the back of Finn's mind he knew this was wrong, but he didn't really care. Marie was single. Finn was single, so really there wasn't anything wrong. Minus the fact that Marie was his best friends ex-girlfriend. But then Jimmy and Marie had split up a while ago, so he was pretty sure it was alright now...otherwise he was in for another punching. Right now though, he really didn't care, because....well this really was extremely fun.
Aww. But she was pulling away. Well...It was probably for the best? Oh. Aha. Finn laughed, grinning at her. "I was actually coming to find you to get some of my chocolate...." Funny that eh?

Aww, he was coming to find her. She knew it was a good idea when she had suggested to hold onto his chocolate. "Well, you found me but I don't have any of your chocolate with me." It was hidden away in her dorm room, where Destiny wouldn't be able to find it. "We can go get it... unless you want to stay here. I mean I could just summon the chocolate right to us." Yeah, she was good at the summoning charm, as he well knew.

Aww. She had none of his chocolate? Finlay pouted, amd let go of her waist, as he pretended to go off into a little bit of a strop. But then he laughed, before grinning at her. Finn really didn't care whether she had the chocolate with her or not, it wasn't like he assumed she'd be constantly carrying it around. "Well....you could summon it..." He mused, glancing at the door. "But then anybody could steal it when it's getting here...." And he didn't really want to be spend the whole day on the seventh floor. "Let's go get the chocolate...and then we can go down to the lake for a bit..."

Aww, he was letting go of her and he was pouting. That made her pout too. Although that pout didn't last long when she seen him try to act like he was mad. That actually made her giggle at him. He was actually kinda cute when he acted like that. Hmm, someone stealing the chocolate on its way there didn't occur to her. "Well, we wouldn't want that to happen now would we. I guess we better go get it." She walked back over to him and grabbed his hand. "How about we go to the pathways instead of the lake?"

Hmm. Marie was giggling at him. That must have meant that his acting had worked. Haha. Maybe he needed a career change? Although he was pretty sure quidditch would probably impress her too. Finn smiled at her as she walked back over to him. "Well I could put them in detention if they tried to steal it...2 Because it wasn't very nice to steal other people's things. Although...he coudln't actually put anyone into detention, but it was a nice thought. Maybe he needed a boost of super prefect powers, and then he'd be able to put people into detentino. Finn would have to think about it.

The pathways? "Sounds good..." He grinned at her. A nice little walk in the grounds, as long as it wasn't too cold, because that would be kind of annoying...but maybe some kissing would heat things up.

Finn having the power to put students in detention. That was a scary thought. "It's probably a good thing you don't have that power." Because she knew of a few she would have him throw in there.

Good, he agreed to the pathways. "Awesome. To the dungeon to get you some chocolate, then to the pathway we go." Heading out the door she looked back one last time at the room. The room that she would probably never see again... since it was technically Matty's room that he created. She was pretty sure he would make sure the door was closed behind him from now on when he was in there.

As she pulled him down the corridor she reminded herself that Salander was different... he wouldn't laugh at her. Never. Well, he might, but it wouldn't be mean or whatever.

Reaching the wall in front of the RoR she dropped his hand, took a deep breath, and began to pace back and forth three times. On the third go she heard the wall shifting and all that and opened them to see the pretty pink door appearing. Turning she took his hand again and gave it a squeeze before pulling him to the door with her and turning the knob to reveal the rand ballroom complete with little stage and microphone.

"Well... it isn't exactly what I thought of, but it'll do," she said with a shrug as she motioned with her head for him to join her as she stepped inside.
