| | Room of Requirement
You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement... |

This was all too accurate to be amusing, no?
And then his eyes were on Arya, not the book, he already knew she was doing good with the textbook. Spiritual messenger?! What on earth is that supposed to mean? Yes, the boy frowned. And then...he blinked. Uplift? Like...making people happy...Ellie happy...even if that meant for him to be not-as-happy? Like...helping people? Well, he'd always sort of done so...
He smirked, though, "I'm always a good friend, Arya," he said, in a low voice, "Am I not?" she didn't have to answer that. But still, the sticks were being so accurate, that...he was starting to like this. "I'll do you now," yup, a nod, "Let me have the sticks," he didn't just take them like he'd done with the textbook earlier on. Treyen took them quite slowly this time around. "You should probably write this stuff down, by the way," and he eyed the parchment and quills next to them. This was homework, after all, and his memory was fine, but he couldn't possibly remember all this stuff.
Let's see...ooooh, he actually had a pretty good question, "Will you be involved in Aaron's rising to Ruler of the world?" THAT was an awesome question...wasn't it? He shook the sticks way too eagerly and...one of them fell in front of her... "Your one of my best friends, Treyen." And to her, that said it all. Though she knew even that went without saying. To her the sticks only proved her right.
It was her turn now? Her eyes widened a bit at that, but obligingly handed over the sticks. She nodded her head in agreement, "Your probably right." It would be a shame to do all of this homework and not have anything to show the professor. Sliding the book over to him, she took up a quill and parchment, and scribbled down what they had done so far.
Giggling at his question, she shook her head slowly, and without looking at the bag, pulled out a stick. "Eight." Her eyes flicked from the stick to Treyen. "What does eight mean."

Giggling at his question, she shook her head slowly, and without looking at the bag, pulled out a stick. "Eight." Her eyes flicked from the stick to Treyen. "What does eight mean." He smiled, widely, surely Arya knew she was one of his best friends too, no? "So are you." But one didn't need to say it, he just decided to do so. The Badger trio, after all, had to mean something.
And he nodded when she agreed with him, he'll write down what he'd asked once he's done with interpretation. Now, that, interpretation, was his favorite part in any class.
Eight, huh? "Well, eight...hold on," his eyes were now browsing through the textbook, and then he found THE number 8, well, he knew the 8 in tarot was for either Strength or Justice, and he kinda knew the answer to the question by having in mind those two cards, but he'll go along with the description for the number, "Number eight...you know, Arya, I don't think you'll be too involved with us," he started to say, eyes narrowing on the fellow badger, he didn't read the number, by the way, "It kind of makes me wonder why." Surely their trio was an odd one, but he was willing to help Aaron, why was Arya not going to do so? "Either way," he started to say again, eyes on the book, "Number eight...it relates to, and I quote, "authority, finances, business, success, material wealth, organization, self-mastery", so, according to this and the whole "self-mastery" thing," he paused once again, "I don't think you'll be involved IN the rising per say, but you may help him succeed somehow, maybe he'll be falling and you'll help him not to fall, perhaps." They don't even know if Aaron is going to rule the world, this could all be about Arya helping Aaron in any way, "You'll help yourself before you can help others, or in this case, Aaron...makes any sense?" he finally said.
But he had soooo much more to say, yet, it didn't involve the question.

But he had soooo much more to say, yet, it didn't involve the question. Arya had a feeling that she wouldn't be too involved in Aaron's rise to rule the world. Partly because she had no interest in ruling over anything or helping anyone ruling over anyone, and partly because she'd yet to hear about any plans to rule over the world. A small shrug in response was all Treyen received, he could wonder all he wanted. Yes, she was a part of the trio, but that didn't mean she would help them with this endeavor.
She had to frown at his interpretation though. It sounded nothing like her. At least the authority, finances, business, material wealth, and all that other nonsense didn't sound like her. But her helping him when he needed it, except with taking over the world, did sound like her. She shook her head at the last bit, frown deepening. "Doesn't make sense at all...or at least it doesn't sound like something I would do." But he knew that. She would always help her friends when they needed it, regardless of her own needs.

For real?
That was...he smirked, "Or something you wouldn't do, because according to this, I doubt you'd be involved in it, therefore, it IS you," he started to say, "And that's what I asked, if you'd be involved, I didn't ask in what way or anything, just if you'll be a part of it," it's not like this was for real, though. "Plus, this isn't happening now," Merlin knows when it is, or if it truly will happen at all, "People change." he certainly hoped Arya didn't. Aaron too. And most of his friends, of course. "But this is only a guess, we know nothing for sure." Perhaps the sticks had managed to work for him and not for Arya? Or was he a bit more...open-minded?
He pondered on something for a bit, "I'm sticking to it," the interpretation, of course, and he was writing it all down, including what Arya was complaining about, "But maybe because the question also included someone else's fate, then it...didn't work out as much?" He was the one shrugging this time. "Perhaps if I ask another one...," that didn't involve other people...

"I GUESS your right, about this situation." She paused, considering his words a bit more. "And I don't have any plans on being apart of ruling the world in any way." So technically the interpretation was correct. Technically speaking. "I'm glad it's not happening now," and she hoped people did change, but not too much. Just enough to grow with their age and not out of their friends. Like her, she would hate to loose any of her friends over time. "That's true, its not like we live by these readings." Merlin knows she didn't live by any sort of readings.
Her smirk grew into a small smile. "You can stick with it, so long as I get to stick with my response." Which she was certain she would. She shrugged her shoulders again. "Maybe, I don't know....you weren't wrong, but maybe the next question shouldn't involve someone directly." Maybe. She wasn't sure.

Or as much as one could be involving some kind of Divination method. So, he merely nodded at some moments, and kept that know-it-all smirk on his face...until... "Yeah, it's fine, I wrote what you said too," he nodded once as he gave her a chance to glimpse at his notes. But he was actually having issues with finding a question to be asked, especially since he was keeping the attention on Arya.
So, he set his quill and parchment aside and took the sticks again, "Let's see," he started again...thinking, thinking, thinking...well, he couldn't focus on anything but the pretty Healer at the moment, that's why his question took a path that related to Moretti, in all fairness, he could even ask if Arya was going to making tons of friends this year, but he already knew the answer without having to ask it. Yes. That was the answer. And...er...he was certainly NOT going to asking anything relating to boys...that subject is always excluded when it comes to any Divination method, regardless of this being Arithmancy and all. "Will you be going to the Hospital Wing this year?" he said, and if the number was a positive answer, then he'd keep an eye on her fellow badger...you know...to go to the pretty Healer with her.
But he was NOT that selfish, he just didn't fancy asking any questions regarding traveling or the school year since those were the ones asked to him.

They were so getting top marks on their homework. So long as they were doing this correctly, she still wasn't entirely convinced they were. Shrug.
It took a moment for his words to sink in, for her to realize the question he was asking. And when she did a small, slightly anxious frown worked its way onto her face. "Sweet Circe, I hope not." At least not for the reasons she was thinking. The girl still had a slight phobia of the place, and had no plans of visiting or getting injured. The visiting her HoH would be difficult, obviously, but she would find a way to meet the woman in person. Obviously.
Wary eyes on the bag, she pulled out a stick and glanced at the number. "Six..." Her eyes went up to Treyen. What did that mean?

He also hoped she wouldn't go, or if she did, then not for something grave. He wouldn't want the Hufflepuff girl to get hurt in any way, but... "Six?" he asked, focusing on the stick and noticing the number on it. Mmmmhmmm, it was six. "Okay, number 6...," which actually translated to the Lovers card, "...refers to..and I quote again, "balance, nurturing, service-oriented, responsibility/duty, family focus, domestic and work issues", so," he recited those keywords very slowly, though, and he frowned. "I believe this means you won't go to the Hospital Wing, I mean, you will go, but not from any injury of the sorts," and he should've been glad about that, right? Then why was he still holding the frown? "Like, perhaps you'll go with someone that is injured, or like a good badger just stop by to visit the Head of House." No injuries, though.
He also wanted to add that if Arya ever decided to go, then please take him along, but...he didn't. "How's that sound?" and his eyes were on Arya now.

So his first book response didn't make much sense to the young girl, mainly because she was looking for a yes or no answer. No, she didn't really believe in these readings, but that wasn't to say that she didn't want to hear the answer he had to say. It was his interpretation that had her relaxing into her seat, and a small smile forming on her face. "That sounds right on the spot," she agreed with all of his statement. "I like the sound of not getting any injures, and would go if an injured person needed an escort, but I don't think I'll be visiting the woman anytime soon." No, she would visit, she would just have to catch her outside of the hospital wing.

It wasn't until now that he smiled, though.
He was nodding, nodding, nodding, "Of course, you'd do so for anyone in need of help," that was something they'd established from the former question, but then he froze. His eyes widened, a lot, "You won't be visiting her?" because Treyen won't have any problem with visiting the Healer every single day, but he'll be arriving late to classes, especially if he had Divination followed by Herbology. That was not a good match, a lot of running was required. "I could go with you if you'd like," he said, a smile on his face, and speaking of going...
... "Right now could be good, you know, we are heading down anyway," and they'd be leaving soon, that's why he wrote the last interpretation on his parchment and placed it away inside his bag. "Come on, I think we've done enough Chieng Tung for the day," and for the week, he'd rather have a crystal ball, though, because those sticks were freakishly accurate.

Of course she would help anyone to the healers despite her phobia, of course. It went without saying and so she didn't feel the need to respond to that again. It was his inquiry that had her shaking her head slowly. "Nah....I think I'll just wait for her to visit the common room or something to meet her." It just occurred to her that Treyen didn't know how much she hated hospitals, maybe she would tell him. Eventually.
He was offering to go with her? Maybe she should tell him. Yes, now would be best. "Um, no thanks. I don't really like hospitals." Hated them really, but that went unsaid verbally as her expression said it all. "But you can tell her I said hey when you do go." Put a good word in for her and all.
When he started to pack up, she did so as well, shoving all her notes and books into her bag as she rose from her seat. "I agree, could go for some coco by the fire now." Or anywhere really. Coco was good anywhere.

Well, yes, that was a good idea too, to wait for the Head of House to stop by the Common Room. An event he'd managed to miss on purpose while Mr. Masterson was around. Or, well, he missed it last time, because being turned into a Niffler was something he didn't want...and...it was better to play it safe and keep away from that man.
This actually reminded that he had yet to meet the new Groundskeeper, if they had any. It was already November and he'd seen no one on the grounds. Perhaps it was a vampire, the Groundskeeper.
But, hey, Arya was still talking! Hospitals? He...well...yes, St. Mungo's counted as a hospital, but he liked it there, those two times he's been inside. "Really? I find the Hospital Wing rather soothing." He'd gotten good news in there, and managed to get healed somehow. "But that's okay...you can find Miss Moretti in the Great Hall from time to time." Arya was reminding him of Ellie, when Ellie made such a face that he'd decided not to push the 'Divination' lessons topic on her. Same here. He wouldn't force Arya to go there.
Okay. Now he was getting up and looking around once more. He liked this room for some weird reason. "Yes, that sounds good," since he had yet to find out if his Arithmancy textbook was on fire or not, "You know, we ought to skate another time," he finally said, eyeing the room once more before leading the way out.

She nodded her head. Really, really. She didn't know how one could find those places soothing, she didn't know. "I find them nerve racking." Then again, she had never had any good experiences at any of them or received any good news. "I think I will go find her there," it would be easier than waiting for her to come outside of her office. Maybe she would wait at the staff table for the woman. "I think we should make plans to skate again soon." Glad that he wasn't pushing the matter of visiting the healer and for the subject change, she swung her bag over her shoulder and followed him out of the room.

Caroline had heard of the room of requirement, but was very skeptical about it. She had ever seen the room, or been in it. She walked by the spot that was supposed to be the place that the doors were. She walked by a few more times. Nothing, she walked by a few more times. Still nothing.
Well she throght I'm going to sit here and watch if anyone comes in or goes out. She leaned on the wall near by.Five minutes or so went by. She slid down the wall and sat on the floor. She waited and waited no one even walked by. The corridor was quiet. She sat indian style, and her arms crossed. All of this waiting, made Caroline tired, and bored. Before she knew it her eyes were closed.

Goofy Braeden was basically skipping down the corridor with parchment and quill in hand. He needed a quiet place to write his next movie (which he knew he would never finish, just like all the other ones he attempted to write), and the Gryffindor common room had never been as crowded as it was that day. He could've just gone to the library, but even just other people being in the room could be distracting. Besides. He wanted his very own little office, with movie scripts on bookshelves, a large, comfortable desk, and a warm fireplace. Mmm, just thinking about said room had the boy grinning like a doof.
Braeden was already familiar with the Room of Requirement, having discovered it the term before, and so he knew exactly where to stand already and what to do. But just as he approached the blank wall, he caught sight of... MERLIN. A dead student! Braeden looked around for a moment - no one was going to think he was the one to kill the student, right? He was the only one there... Gahh. But he couldn't just leave that person on the floor like that!
Upon closer inspection, Braeden began to recognize the blonde hair and the sleeping features of the student. OHMYMERLIN. Caroline was dead! Or, at least, passed out! WHAT?! Why?! How?! (Leave it up to Brae to assume the worst and not the most logical - she was sleeping). He knelt down beside the girl and shook her by the shoulders. "Caroline?! Caroline! What-- Are you-- Don't tell me you're-- Caroline!" Uwaaaa! She had been such a great friendddd!

Caroline was sure that a earthquake had just hit Hogwarts, by the way she was being shook. oh my god we are all going to die. She heard a filmiar voice calling her name. either she was alive or she was under 100,000 pounds of Structure that used to be Hogwarts or maybe dead. No white light and someone saying head towarrrdd the lighttttt. She must have still been alive. What if she'd opened her eyes and the light was there then? "I'm I alive? How bad was the earthquake?" She asked. She opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was brown eyes and a goofy smile. "Braeden?"she asked as the boy, become clear as her vision cleared. She looked around. The walls and ceilings were still standing. Was that all just a dream. That was the weirdest dream she'd ever had.

Braeden sighed in relief as Caroline opened her eyes. Thank Merlin! She was alive! ... And talking about an earthquake. "Huh?" he rose a dark eyebrow at the girl before realizing she might've confused his shaking by an earthquake. Oh. The boy smiled sheepishly; he'd been a little rough there, hadn't he? Poor girl. He'd been worried, though!
"What are you doing out here? Just randomly decided to take a nap in he middle of the corridor?" he asked with a soft chuckle, traces of relief still on his features as he smiled at his Slytherin friend.

Caroline smiled when the confusion had worn off. She stood up her legs had fallen asleep while she sat on the floor. She strenched. Wow she maybe getting too old to lay around on the floor. She straighed her clothes up and hair for a moment. She turned and returned the smile and noticed a tiny look of worry. This made her feel both happy and sad. Happy becasue obviously he was worry and sad because she made him worry. She laughed at the randomly falling asleep in the corridor. Something like that, I guess. I've been trying to get into the room of requirement" She looked around and lowed her voice as she said room of requirement, like it could hear her or something. She narrowed her eyes at the opposite wall. "What are you doing, here?" she asked looking at him and changing her facial expression back to its usual sweeteness

Braeden laughed lightly when Caroline spoke of the room of requirement with a tone of mystery, getting up to his feet (as he'd been kneeling beside the girl just a second earlier) and grinning as she asked what he was doing there. "Heading to the room of requirement," he explained simply, amused by the coincidence. "I was looking for somewhere to get some writing done..." he muttered, gesturing to the parchment and quill he was holding in one hand before returning his gaze to the girl.
"You ready to be amazed?" he asked with a tone of mystery and excitement, as if he was about to do something grand.
But all he did was walk up and down the corridor three times.
At first, nothing happened, but just a few seconds later, a large door of dark wood appeared where there had once been nothing more than a blank wall. Grinning, Braeden proceeded to open the door and held it open for his Slytherin friend. "Ladies first," he said with a goofy smile, gesturing for Caroline to walk into the room, which resembled an office... very heavily decorated in Gryffindor colours and symbols. As would be expected from a Gryffindor.

What a coincidence, they were both going to the room of requirement. Caroline was amused by his going to the room to write. She gave him a sketical look. As his excitement grew in his voice. She watched as he walked up and down the corridor three times. For a second she didnt think that anything was going to happen, just like eveytime she had tryed. Then the door appeared. She looked at Braeden then the door and back to Braeden. A grin spread across her face. She clapped and walked toward the door. "Thank you" she walked inside the room. It was amazing, well the colors were very gryffindorish but that was ok "I can feel the gryffindor pride" she laughed "RAWR" She held up her hands like claws. She walked over to desk that was in the middle of the room. As she walked by she ran her hand arcoss the desk and plobbed down in the middle of the desk. "What are you writing about?" She raised an eyebrow as she asked.

Braeden followed Caroline into the room and laughed lightly as the girl noted the Gryffindor pride of the room, going on to give him a rather adorable 'rawr' that only got him to laugh with amusement once more. She was funny. And then she was sitting on the desk, questioning him about what he was going to write.
Braeden was a little distracted by the sight of the blonde girl sitting so casually on the desk for a moment before clearing his throat and giving a slightly sheepish chuckle. "I'm not sure yet. A script for a mystery and suspense movie; those are my favourite. I'm thinking... something inspired by my Care of Magical Creatures book. A cursed book that's out to get all the students and professors. No one knows it's the book, though, until the very end," he said. Yeah, it was a totally goofy 'scary' movie. Just like its producer. Braeden flashed his friend a lopsided grin.

Caroline hoped that word of her Rawring didn't leave the room of requirement. She listened as Brae told her about the movie scipt. It sounded interesting. It sounded both terrifing and hilarious. "No chance of Dr. Novel the evil flying sidekick joining the cast. Causing the main character to meet a beautiful Blonde haired blue eyed girl " She laughed, Their first meeting was defintely interesting.
There was a brief silence. She was suprised that he hadn't asked more about what she had told him last night about her father."So I see you made it back from walking me to the dungeons last night" She gave Brae a sweet little smile and jumped off the desk. She was worried that he would get caught or something would get him on his way to the Gryffindor common room. She walked around the room she still couldn't believe that she was in the room of requirement. "do you come here offend? She asked him.

Braeden couldn't help but laugh as Caroline mentioned 'Dr. Novel' as reference to their first meeting. He would never forget that. And neither would his arm; it was bruised for days after that. "I think I might have to include him somewhere in there," he said with one of his goofy smiles.
The Gryffindor boy took a seat on one of the armchairs by the fireplace and watched absentmindedly as Caroline began to wander around the room, mentioning that he had made it back from walking her to the dungeons the night before. He smiled faintly and nodded his head. "Yep, no evil Slytherins jumped out to get me and the prefects never noticed a thing," he said quite proudly. He was good at sneaking around the castle, even if his sense of direction was rather poor. "Not very often, really. Mostly during the winter. I prefer to go outside if I want to write, but obviously the weather isn't very friendly right now," he explained with a soft chuckle.
In all honesty Braeden hadn't really forgotten about what Caroline had told him the night before, but... He just wasn't sure whether he should question her about it. He didn't want to be nosy and bring her back memories she didn't want to think about or anything like that. But at the same time he was curious she had so suddenly shared such intimate information with him. Mmmm... The boy sank into the armchair quietly, absentmindedly staring at the flames dancing in the fireplace.

Caroline smiled as Braeden said that he may have to put it in somewhere. She continued to walk around looking at the books in the shelves. The room turned office reminded her of her father's office at her house. Where she would spend most of her summer. She made her way over to the fireplace where her goofy was staring into the fire. She sat down beside him and gave him a grin. "This reminds me of my dad's office" she smiled "Just more mmm....green" She laughed and turned her head to the fire. She really didn't mind telling him about stuff about her family and home life. He was her friend, and even with the short amount of time, she trusted him. "He died a few days before I started Hogwarts." She told him. Actually this was the first time she'd told anyone about what happened with her siblings.
