Sitting up he slid off the couch until he was sitting next to her on the floor and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "But...if we wanted to we wouldn't have to come out?" He smirked and gave her cheek a kiss before looking around the room. "I think it needs some blue." Okay so the Ravie blue was getting to him and as he thought it spurts of blue popped up with a few of those banner symbol things he'd seen in the room. "Much better now it's the best of both houses," he smirked and gave a heartfelt laugh before pulling her toward him so she could lean on him. |

"I suppose not. There is no rule saying we HAVE to do anything around here." She smiled when he kissed her cheek and looked up as the house banners morphed into half Gryffindor half Ravenclaw. "That looks great!" She let him pull her toward him and sunk into the familiar curve of his body and sighed. |

"I wonder if my mum's found out this wasn't exactly a punishment yet?" he smirked and trapped one of her feet in between his. "I'd love to see the look on her face when she does. Can just hear her screaming, Whaaaat? What do you mean it's not? Bet she thought it was like one of those strict boarding schools." |
...her face to the fall, "OW" she said "ugh common I need something..." Witsy paced for another few minutes but nothing happened. She thought she'd call it a night and try later, maybe you're overdoing, she told herself. She left for bed. |

After pacing back and forth in front of the wall three times, a door appeared and the Hufflepuff disappeared inside. Inside, the Room of Requirement was no longer a room - but the great outdoors. Maybe not great, really, but it kind of was to her. The ground was covered in layers of snow, everything within sight (which was not much more than trees and hills) covered in a white fluffy blanket of cold. And just up ahead was a frozen lake, her lake. She had been using the magic of this room for a few years now, whether or not the scenery was truly there or a realistic illusion she was able to step in to, Katie was happy to be able to escape the worries within the school for a little bit, put on her skates and go out on the ice no matter what the time of year. Though she preferred the real Hogwarts lake, it wasn't winter yet and Katie couldn't complain. Letting out a huff of air that she could visibly see in the cold, Katie started toward the single bench just on the outside of the frozen lake, setting her bag down as began to switch her shoes for her skates. |
Legend sighed, he needed somewhere to relax and just calm down. Maybe go somewhere he could just have a good time. So of course he would think of the Room of Requirement. This room could be used for great things, and that was what he needed, someplace great. As he strolled down the hallway, something caught his eye. Stopping Legend noticed that the big door unusual door of the Room was...well visible...that wasn't suppose to happen right? Not unless the person who had just went inside did not close it properly. Looking around to see if anyone was in the halls, Legend quickly rushed too the door. Peaking inside his mouth fell open. Snow. Mountains. A frozen lake. It was simply amazing. He needed a board. Quickly the Gryffindor closed the door and then walked back and forth three times. He needed the SAME exact place, nothing different, except for that it had to have an awesome snowboard, and equipment. As the door appear again he walked in and closed the door. The first thing that caught his eye was the most amazing snowboard he had ever seen in his life, along with a helmet and boots. Grabbing the items his eyes fell upon a bench near the frozen lake. He could put them on over there! Smart room! As Legend rushed toward the lake with the items in hand, he stopped dead once he realized the familiar head of curls. No wonder. His stomach jerked, making him feel sick again. Great, and this was suppose to be a get away. Building up his courage he slowly made his way over to the bench and sat down. Maybe...she wouldn't notice him? |
The crunching of snow beneath the Gryffindor's feet went unnoticed to the girl, taking off one shoe and pulling on her skate boot, Katie left the laces untied and did the same with her other foot; took of her shoe and replaced it with her skate, laces on either side of the skates nearly touching snow as she shoved her shoes into her bag and zipped it back up. Not only was she not expecting to see anyone in her little winter wonderland because it was the Room of Requirement, she had closed the door (or so she'd thought) and no one else would have been able to find her.. except Legend Chosen. It was funny how he did that, except that it really wasn't funny at all. It was slightly unnerving. She could escape the castle, the students, the chatter, the gossiping, the worries - All of it, for a short period of time she could just hide in her own little world, and Legend was still there. He still found her, for Merlin knew what reason. Katie didn't understand it. Noticing his presence before she actually dared to glance at him through the curtain of messy curls that had fallen into her face when she'd bent down to tie her laces, Katie took a moment to find her voice, brushing the wild locks back over her shoulder and out of the way. She stole a quick look at the blonde, juuuust to be sure it WAS him. Kind of. "..Hi," Murmured the brunette, watching her breath in the ice cold air. Her fingers found the laces of her second boot and began tying, "How.. did you get here?" He couldn't have followed her. Katie wasn't that oblivious, even as lost in thoughts as she had been lately she would have noticed. |
Please don't let her see me, please don't let her see me. Legend stole a glance at the Hufflepuff who was still tying her laces. Looking down he kicked off his shoes and shoved his shoots into the boots. The right fit and everything. Snowboarding was not his expertise, but it was something he was being to love. He had only started learning this summer when he went to the enchanted hill in Piedmont for two weeks with his friends. It just like mountain boarding except much less bumps, which meant that he had to soften his movements to do anything or he'd end up on the ground. Legend froze as he finished tying the last lace. She was speaking to him. Nononoonono. "You left the door open." He muttered finally. Sighing he took the helmet and pulled it over his face, then pulled his goggles that hung off his neck onto his eyes. "I'm just going to be..." Practicing? Well..not really...he wasn't a snowboarder. "Over there." Near the little bumps and snow. He could practice his speed, maybe even do few tricks. "Have fun skating." Turning he walked away. |
Arabella-Marie walked in front of the wall that lead to the room of requirement thinking about how she needed she some place private where she could think about her mum without letting anybody else see on the third pass the door appered and Arabella-Marie entered the room and sat down and sighed this term was going to be so tough with her mum ill and her father fighting his way back home from the other side of the world and here she was stuck in school when her mum needed her to be by her side |

Why hadn't Arabella-Marie been told what kind of sickness her mother had? It was really confusing to the prefect. Thinking she said "I think the best thing is to talk to Madam Donovan about your family situation. Maybe she can help you get back into the study flow. I can help too if you want? And also send a letter home explaining to your mum how worried you are and maybe you'll get something back that well ease your worry." It was the best Sophie could think of at the moment. |

Arabella-Marie said "Bye Sophie" Arabella-Marie wandered out of the room of requirement heading down to the library to Madam Donovan's office to try and sort out her family problems with her head of house |
Ah. After a long first day of classes, Ari knew exactly what she wanted to do. Toting her cello case in her left hand, and her white cane in her right, she counted fifty paces, not including a left and right turn, and found the tapestry that marked the hiding place of the Room of Requirement. Stepping to the opposite side of the hallway, she paced and began to think. The room always was the same, since she knew more precice means of telling what she wanted then by sight. She knew the demensions of the room, the exact placement of everything she needed, even what the room smelled like. She was wearing black dress slacks and a white turtleneck, with her Ravenclaw pin on the left side. Her short red-brown hair stuck out a bit more than usual due to the static in the cold air, but she didn't mind. And, of course, on her face, was her dark sunglasses. As she finished her third pace, she heard a nearly silent scraping of stone, and reached out for the handle after collapsing her cane and sliding it into her pocket. Closing the door behind her, she inhaled the scent of polished wood and peach. Walking forward and slightly to the right, she decended an isle that sloped to the back of the theatre. Once the ground was flat, she turned left, grabbing hold of a banister, and ascended four stairs. Crossing the stage, her hard-soled shoes echoed off the back wall. Eight long paces brought her to a black chair in the center of the stage. She sat, laying the case flat on the ground and popped the silver locks. She delicately lifted the cello with both hands, balancing it upright between her knees, then reached back down for the bow, which she had rosined up before heading over here. Plucking three strings, to make sure it was still in tune, Ari placed her fingers just so, bringing the bow up carefully. She started out very soft. For about twenty seconds, she played so quietly the sound didn't bounce back. Then the volume gradually increased, though she still played slowly. This continued, the sound growing louder, until she could hear it bounce off every wall. The tune was sad, but after a few minutes, the pace picked up. With no distinguishable pattern to the tune, she played on a whim, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, fast or slow, classical or modern. OOC: Feel free to walk in on Ari. She won't mind. |

Allowing herself to glance at him, holding her breath as she waited for the twisting feeling of the knot in her stomach to worsen and the pained fluttering of confused butterflies, Katie frowned. He wasn't really talking to her; the little he had spit out sounded awfully reluctant to her ears. When Legend finished putting his helmet and goggles on he stood up and walked away from her. He had stated where he was going, stated being the key word, but nothing more. Dark brown eyes blinked, eyebrows raised. Katie sat still for a moment, wondering what exactily just happened. What was his problem?! This time, she couldn't even figure out why he might not be talking to her. Any other time Katie would have had a good idea what she had said or done, but not this time. Not unless he was still upset about the Kai thing, but she couldn't see why! He didn't care about her in that sense and Kai had broken up with her, so what? It was over. Done. Lysander Chosen, LET IT GO. Merlin help him if she ever found out THAT was still the problem.. A frustrated noise escaped the Hufflepuff's mouth, followed by an equally annoyed, "HMMPH!" and Katie was on her feet, arms crossed as she stepped out on to the sheet of ice, glaring down at her reflection. He was just.. just.. SO infuriating! Were they even FRIENDS anymore? Were they ever?! Katie DID NOT KNOW anymore. A mixture of different emotions ate at her, thoughts of all different sorts attempting to distract her. She had come to the Room of Requirement to find a quiet place to be by herself and clear her mind, but this was the exact opposite of that. Without a moments worth of thought, Katie stomped her foot hard like an upset child. And that was all it took, standing on a frozen iced over lake, to take her down. "Oof!" Deep breaths. Groaning in annoyance with herself and mumbling something that was clearly not in English, Katie threw her hands over her face. Yep. This was clearly not her day. |
Bre <3 Emma walked into the Room of Requirement. She was so glad to be back in here. It looked the same as it had been in her second year. Inside here she felt as if she was away from all the drama of the third years. She took a deep breath in and walked over to the fireplace. |

Legend's stomach began to act up again, the Lion sighed. Leaving would just be best right? Then he wouldn't have to be here...around Katie. As he reached the top of the small half pipe he noticed that the dip was just a bit steeper than he was used to. Huh...could he pull this off? There was no way he was going to leave. Looking in the direction of the Badger, Legend secretly hoped she was watching. After all what was the point in landing a move if you had no audience? Looking down he tightened the bindings to his feet and moved even closer to the edge. Right there- the drop was steep but he just needed to concentrate, like mountain boarding. Shifting his weight to the front edge of the board he could feel his body slowly shifting to get ready for the massive amount of speed. At the same time a loud "Oof!" had escaped the Hufflepuff's mouth and Legend turned his head out of curiosity. She had fallen. She was hurt? The moment he turned the run had been ruined. His body jerked at an alarming rate and he tumbled down the half pipe. It was lucky for him that it was only snow, and not dirt and rocks. Or...he would seriously be visiting the Mungo's. As he reached the bottom Legend brushed the snow away from his face, and lifted up his goggles. "That...was beyond cold." He wasn't injured so he was good. Unstrapping the bindings of the snowboard he quicking made his way ofter to Katie who was still lying on the ice. "You...alright?" He murmured still trying to brush off as much snow as he could from the fall. Legend took a step onto the ice in Katie's direction. |
