Hugo sat at the Ravies table, just eating his breakfast... A bit early. There were hardly any people, but there was an owl flying through the room anyway. It was HIS owl. Hugo looked at the skreetching owl coming nearer, with a little package. When it fell out of the little barn owl's claw, Hugo opened it. In it was a letter.

MERLIN'S BEARD!! His sister was having a baby? AWESOME! Hopefully, the child would have his parents' genes and not his sister's... He didn't want a Hufflepuff nephew. Putting the letter in his pocket, he sighed. WOWW.

" Hi Hugo" Rex smiled. " How are you doing today?" Rex asked Hugo. " Sorry about RavenClaw losing the championship match" Rex told Hugo.

Large eyes looked out beneath dark eyelashes, their color indiscernible as a slim hand reached up to tuck a few waves of hair back away from an oval face that was at that moment upturned in a smile.

Expelling a deep breath that sent her bangs up and out of her eyes, Ivory shook her head slightly, her long layered hair fanning over her shoulders as she walked over to the Ravenclaw table. Boy was she hungry.

A full day of practicing with no munchies had that effect on a person and she for one was not going to deny herself a basic need such as food....which is why she was here, now. Plopping herself down on an empty seat and staring at the different selections of food.

You'd think that if a person was really hungry that choosing what to eat would be an easy decision....At least it should be. Sadly, that wasn't the case with Ivory. Head turning this way and that as if she was a spectator at a muggle tennis game, she eyed the different dishes.

Merlin's belly button lint, indecision was a bummer if you were really hungry.

It was skateboard time.

His skateboard had quite frankly been hiding in the darkness, obviously wanting to be ridden. And Leo, being who he was, wanted to rid it himself. So this explained why he was on his skateboard, going down the great hall. Was he aware that he was most likely going to get scolded? Yes, but he was having fun! Anyway, it wasn't like he was going to KILL anyone while on his skateboard! It was just harmless fun.


He grinned as he went through the great hall, heading in the direction towards the slytherin table, humming a little tune. And then suddenly....

WHAM.

And he had ran into someone at the Ravenclaw table.NOT COOL.

"OHMYGOSH! I'M SO SORRY!"He got off his skateboard, looking at the girl. A nervous smile on the boy's face. It was a girl too, a dang GIRL. He felt guilty now, REALLY guilty. It's not like he MEANT to run into someone! D:

Finally!
She'd narrowed down the main choices to Cornish pastries or Shepard's pie. A large decision indeed. Wrinkling her nose in thought, Ivory leaned forward on the table, balanced precariously on her knees as her spoon hovered indecisively back and forth over the two dishes. Mmmmmm.....

So in thought was she that she neither heard nor recognized the sound of wheels on the Hall floor that it came as an even greater surprise when some indiscernible force bumped into her from behind tipping her forward.

Letting out a mouselike squeak of surprise, Ivory found herself involuntarily flapping and waving her arms for balance, looking for all the world like an orchestra conductor directing the different foods before her. Wavering there for a second, it was pretty obvious that the momentum was too great to be overcome by simple arm waving so she did the only thing her reflexes were fast enough for as she tipped head first into the arrangement of lunch. She stretched her arms out before her.

SPLAT!

Arms almost elbow deep in stew and steak and kidney pudding, she let out a sigh. Only to her could this happen.

Hearing the nearby exclaimed apologies, Ivory turned her head bangs falling into her eyes as she smiled warily at her attacker of sorts. "Hey it happens." Yeah people bumped into other people all the time. She should know. She did it every other day...why just yesterday-

But then she noticed the skateboard. Raising one eyebrow in surprise as she drippingly brought out her arms from the bowls splattering some sauce on her pinned Prefect badge, Ivory gave the guy's accessory a meaningful glance.

You've got some 'splaining to do it said.

Moping.

Ellie was moping. She was down in the dumps. She was confused. She was worried. She was frustrated. What had happened? What did she say that made Alex act like that? Why was he avoiding her?

Why was she upset?

Stuffing a roll in her mouth, she looked around the room with a somber expression.

Rexsaw a girl upset at the table. " I hate to see girls upset" Rex told her
" My name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to the sad girl. "What is wrong?" Rex asked the girl.

Dan sat down at the Ravenclaw table for some breakfast. He then saw someone that looked a little familiar walk towards him.

Kyle skipped down to the Ravenclaw table - she was oddly happy today. Her bag was swinging on her shoulder not only because of her momentum but because of the box filled with magical ever-bounce bouncy balls in her bag. She had a plan to give one to someone today - well she was going to give one to Professor Chaud - as she had heard him called... after all Professor Descoteaux had after all unfrozen her in class...and that deserved a bouncy ball.

She saw someone she'd seen by the whomping willow earlier the other day and smiled.

"Hello!" She called to her housemate. "Want a bouncy-ball?" She asked smiling pulling the box out of her bag. Pointing her wand at the box she called out Immobulus causing it and the balls inside to freeze and stop moving for enough time for her to get a ball if one was wanted.

Seeing the guy from the lake mikey grabs a tray of American Biscuts and head over to the Ravenclaw table


"Hey bud" sitting at the open spot next to him " I got a friendly House elf that make these fro me... there American Biscuts ,I like mine with eithe maple syrup or gravey" putting one on a plate " but loads of people put ham in them or patty sasuage "

Chewing some last bits of bread, Ellie noticed an older boy confront her. A Gryffindor. Who hated to see sad girls. Whose name was Rex Trigwell.

"Why hello there, Rex." Ellie said dully, without emotion. She stared past him at the wall. "I'm Ellie Johanson, and yes, I am an upset girl." She said with a frown. She sighed dramatically and looked at the guy. What was wrong? "Oh, you know... Stuff. Drama. Rumours. Stupid people." Ellie shrugged and tossed her roll onto the table carelessly. Yeah. Stupid people was a good way to put it.

Kyle noticed Rex speaking with a girl in her house she walked over and took a seat next to Ellie.

"Hi Ellie," she smiled softly, "I hate drama, rumours and the works myself." She sighed, "If you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm Kyle Manning!"

" Hi Ellie, nice to meet you" Rex said to her." Upset is not a good thing for a girl like you" Rex told Elle." Well, i do not like rumors. deama, stuff nor stupid people ,either" Rex agreed with Elle." Stick with me and my friends and you will have a lot of fun" Rex explained to Elle,

" How are you?" Rex asked Kyle." How is the food?" Rex asked Kyle. " I see you met my new friend Elle" Rex smiled.

"I'm good been collecting bouncy balls." She smiled pulling the box out of her bag, freezing it quickly she grabbed a ball. "Want one?" She asked both Ellie and Jason in turn.

" So why are you collecting bounct balls?" Rex asked Kyle. " I bet it is for a homework assignment" Rex said to Kyle. " Yes, if you have a red bouncy ball" Rex told Kyle. " I like you, you are so cool" Rex explained to Kyle.

Ellie set her chin in her hands and watched a new girl come up to her and Rex. She also hated drama. This was a good team. -___-

Oh, and she knew who she was? Well yeah, they were in the same house. Ellie was always bad with names, but she knew that this older girl had a unique sort of name like everyone else in the school that wasn't normal for a girl...

Ah, yep. Kyle. It was cute. Ellie smiled at her friendly invitation. "Thank you Kyle, that's really sweet." She said, lighting up a bit.


"It's nice to meet you too, Rex." She said, letting a smile show. At least these people were nice. Ellie sat up a little more and listen to Rex talk about his friends. Ellie sighed. "Well, I could use some fun. I may have to sneak into your group of friends." She said with a little laugh.

Erm. Bouncy balls? Okay then... "Yeah, I'll take one. If you've got purple." Ellie said to Kyle with a friendly smile and a shrug. Who wouldn't want a purple bouncy ball, right?

Mikey sat down next to Dan at the wrong time. His mouth was stuffed with eggs. "Hey" He said through a full mouth. Hopefully Mikey could decipher what he was saying. "Sweet! So, hows baseball practise?" He asked going back to when he was skipping stones at the lake.

" You are a really nice girl" Rex told Ellie. " We all need fun" Rex said to Ellie." You are my friend and you will meet the rest of my friends besides Kyle" Rex explained to Ellie.

Kyle ran into the great hall, stopping at her house table.

"MUGGLES at the school gate." She yelled, very very loud, hoping people could hear her, or were listening.

Ellie brightened a bit and flashed a smile. "Thank you, Rex. That's really nice." She told him. Ellie was glad someone like him was so nice to just consider her a friend so immediately. She opened her mouth to speak again when Kyle bolted into the Hall.

Ellies eyes widened. MUGGLES? At the school gate? What? This couldn't be real, right? A scam?

Ellie stood up and ran out of the hall to see what this was all about.

" You welcome" Rex told Ellie. " I always tell the truth" Rex said to Ellie. "What is Kyle saying?" Rex asked Ellie.

Ellie wandered into the great hall and sat at her house table. She told Fee that she'd meet her there. She hadn't seen Fee in so long, and the term was almost over! And now they finally had a chance to hang out again.

Picking up an apple, Ellie polished it with her sleeve and took a bite. Magical apples were so much better than the ones her mother bought at the muggle food store. Now, where was Fee?

Ariana wandered into the hall and sat down to get something to eat. She looked around for anyone who would talk to her, and settled with just sitting next to nobody and helping herself to some food, trying to find any other first years.

Walking to the Ravenclaw table Fee was looking for Elkie.The two girls hadnt met up in sooo long and it was such a pitty.They needed to plan their shopping trip.Ohh yeeees totally,it was going to be sooo fun and they had to make evil plans.Hehe.

The Ravies didnt seem to hungry today the blonde would find her friend easily.Approaching the table the Slytherin could already see Ellie and smiled at the sight of her friend."Heeeeyyy sweetheart",she beamed.

As Ellie waited for Fee to arrive, she tried to think of the last time they had hung out... She couldn't remember. Which meant it had been far, far too long. She saw Miss Sparkly Fee walk over to the Ravenclaw table and Ellie grinned. "Hey Feeee! How are you?" She exclaimed, giving her snake friend a hug.

There was an important matter of business to conduct, so Ellie got right to it. She sat down and turned to Fee, grinning. "So. Our shopping trip." Ellie started, and smirk grew on her lips. "I'm guessing Hogsmeade isn't going to open anytime before term ends. So we should definitely hang out over break and do it. And go on our double date." She said, wiggling her eyebrows and laughed.
