"I would love to," Rowan beamed. "Are second years allowed to leave the grounds?"

" Yes, you can leave the grounds" Rex told Rowan. " Jason is a Gryffindor and hew graduated five years ago" Rex said to Rowan.

"I can't wait to meet him," she said. "Maybe Skylar can show me how to find the castle."

" You did great on concentrating" Rex told Skyler. " Now you just need direstion with your spell" Rex laughed. Thanks for coming, Jason will like you" Rex said to Skyler. " Ok, I want to see that life-sized broom" Rex smiled.

Ellie came into the Great Hall for two things; food, of course, and homework. The latter would be totally shocking, though. After all, who did homework while eating, you know? Unless it was that stashed bit of chocolate in the dorms.

Anyway, that's what she was planning.

She walked in, and sat at her house table. Anywhere else would just feel WEIRD. Even with the Hall as empty as it was at this time of day.

She grabbed something sweet and took a bite. While chewing, she removed the watch and her wand again.

Chew, chew, chew....Swallow.

Right. This time, she was going to try and eliminate the leathery bit. She could do it, she was sure. Kingsley would think she could. And so would the new nice lady. But it was Kingsley that she believed more. He knew her potential, after all, the nice professor hasn't known her for as long.

So, compass. Compass. Ellie pictured a compass fancier than the last. At least, leatherless. "Comletia," Up/down, left/right, circle, jab.

Ellie set the compass down and took another bite of her cupcake. It was a reward system. Or so she's gonna think.

Emily entered the Great Hall and took her usual seat at the Ravenclaw table. She was starving, her stomach rumbled loudly, Emily hoped nobody heard it.
As she began to eye off the selection of food in front of her she could help but notice one of the girls from her house doing her transfiguration homework.
"Nice compas", she said smiling at the girl.
Emily grabbed a peice of roast chicken and added some cous cous and salad to her plate.

Oh person!

"Thanks. It's...eh." She could do better. Or she hoped so at least, if she was going to do the homework correctly.

"I...don't know you. I'm Ellie." Hey Stranger. Heh.

Emily quickly swallowed the forkful of chicken she had shoved in her mouth.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Emily", she smiled.
"I should probably start doing my transfig homework soon", Emily sighed, it seemed as though all she ever did was attend classes, complete homework and then do it all over again.

Emily couldn't help but glance over at the Slytherin table...
"Wonder whats going on there", she said as she saw the figure of Professor Lafay in the distance.

"Likewise, Emily," Ellie nodded and took another bite from her cupcake. Emily was eating healthyish food. Hmmm. Maybe she should, too....?

Nah, sweets all the way. She can get the 'eating right' treatment over the holidays.

She glanced over at the Slythie table. Meh. "Nothing I want to get involved in if Lafay's there." Lafay was crazy scary. Worse than Tate and Vindictus combined.

"MMMmmm I agree", said Emily as she stared over at the Professor. She was incredibly intimidating, but at the same time Emily couldn't help but respect her, she was an incredible potions mistress.
"Got any plans for the weekend?" asked Emily, thankful that there weren't any classes, she needed a break. Though she did have a small pile of home work with her name on it.

Emily shoved another forkful of food in her mouth and chewed, she really would have to start eating more regularly.

Ellie nodded. Totally.

She sighed. "I haven't really thought about it." So much to do, yet so little motivation. Hehe. "Do you?"

"Homework mostly I think", she said as after she swallowed.
"Maybe just hang out in the grounds, or perhaps I'll take a trip into Hogsmede."
Emily finished off her plate and skulled down a glass of pumpkin juice.
"I should head to the library, get some study done", she said as she stood from the table.
"Nice chatting to you, might see you around... and good luck with your transfiguration homework.", she smiled.

Picking up her bag she left the Great Hall, her stomach content.

Right Homework. Ellie was nooooot saving that for the weekend. Nope. She was gonna work while she was still working. Those free days were PRECIOUS.

Oh. She ate fast. Ellie approved.

"Yeah, I'll see you. Thanks."

Well, Ellie took another bite from her cupcake.

And a cupcakey reward. Ellie took an especially HUGE bite of mostly frosting from her cupcake.

Homework was awesome.

Satine glanced between them all with a smile, "It's nice to meet you all..." she said with a little nod at each one. Then she cocked her head to the side a little unsure as to what Skyler was talking to. Satine ran over their convo in their head trying to figure out if she had missed anything. The whole time she just kept an empty smile on her face.

" Hello Satine" Rex said to her. " So how do you like HogWarts?" Rex asked Satine.

Chew, chew, chew.... That last bite was EXTREMELY sweet. Mannn, cupcakes should have a warning label on sweetness, cuz now, Ellie needed a drink. Whatever was closest.

She poured herself a cup a tea, and drank it all in one, long, breath.

The redhead picked up her wand again, "Reverto." Watch. Heh.

Score! Maybe she really was getting better! And she liked this one. It MOVED. It was cool.

She picked up her cupcake to take another GINO bite, but... it was all little now. So, in order to still have some left after her last (finally) go, she only took an ickle bite.

Fee sat at the Ravenclaw table and thought about the last few weeks.She hadnt seen Eino since they left the Hogwarts Express.That was really sad because she felt like they were separating from eachother.It wasnt the fact that Hufo and her were a couple now right?!That couldnt be and it would be stupid.Very stupid.

Taking a bowl of chocolate pudding the Slytherin sighed a little.At least something good to eat was here. Sweets were the best to get the frustration out of you.Heh.

Satine turned towards the voice. "Well I love it! I always have loved it. I couldn't be more happy to be back after studying abroad last semester." she said with a smile. "How are things going for you this term?" Satine was not good at small talk...actually she was sure that she just bored peeps with small talk but that was the best way to make new acquaintances...right?

" Where did you study last term?" Rex asked Satine. " This term is fun but sad" Rex said to Satine. " Being my last term here, I am happy and sad about leaving" Rex explained to Satine. "So who is yoru favorite professor?" Rex asked Satine.

Hmmm.... So NOW she had to think of something MORE awesome that a compass that moved. Haaaarrrrrdddd.

Ellie thought about this. A lot. And finally came up with something that would look pretty cool. Meh.

Ellie eyed the last bite of cupcake. She wanted it, she did!!

While chewing, she reholstered her wand, and placed the compass in her pocket. Then she stood up, and walked out of the hall.

Jacob made his way into the great hall after practice.

The smell of bacon had just killed him, and he needed some NAUGH!

He rushed towards the table and piled some bacon on a plate... 'if you finish this, I will never help you again...' Shut up brain! I'm hungry!

For some reason Mia had slept way longer than she usually did and she was afraid that she might have missed breakfast. Or was it lunch now? Whatever. She was totally famished and because she was so hungry, Mia had not bothered too much with her appearance this morning.

Stumbling into the Great Hall in a pair of sweat pants and jumper and definite bed head, she headed for the Huffie table. But made a quick detour when she spotted the Ravvie Quidditch Captain sitting on his own.

"Hey." She said as she slipped into the chair beside him. "How was practice?"

Jacob stuffed his mouth with several peices of pig fat bacon. After swallowing a major portion of what he had in his mouth, he started to chew the other half that was still in his mout... he chew off more he could swallow... literally. But Jacob wasn't going to give, up... it was so gooooooooooood.... He swallowed the rest, before

"AHH!" he gave a small scream, as someone had snuck up on him, and a lot of the bacon on his plate went flying across the table. "Great, I had that perfectly structured into a random pile of bacon..." Wait, what? Silly brain it wasn't random, it was perfect... it was a masterpeice of bacon!

Jacob finally looked to see who his attacker was... oh look, miss 'fire isn't smart'... huffie... person

A almost familiar person in a very ruffled state "Well good morning sunshine, Look who woke up on the wrong side of the bed." he stated plainly,. "You know... it's not very nice to sneak up on the easily frightened." good thing he didn't have his bat.

How was Practice? "Well obviously you wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes..." he said examining her again... nope... she probably would have fallen asleep on the broom. Even if she wasn't ravenclaw... or on a team.

Why did he keep doing that?

His scream had her jumping in fright herself and she almost fell off the chair. Thankfully she had managed to grab hold of the table with her hand before she managed to fall.

Mia was tempted to tell him that bacon was no good for him anyway. Not to mention the fact that some poor little pig had been slaughtered just so that he could eat his 'perfectly structured pile.'

And she was actually thinking about going into that rant when Jacob spoke again and Mia blinked at him a couple of times. She reached up and patted her hair and it felt like it was standing on end. Which it most probably was. "I'm sorry. I didn't know this was a formal occasion otherwise I would have made the effort." She rolled her eyes at him before surverying the table for something to eat. Oooh look. Pastries. "And I didn't sneak up on you."

She took a bite out of her croissant and turned back to Jacob. Mia raised her eyebrow as she swallowed. "Well aren't you just the cheery one this morning." Sheesh can't a girl have a sleep in every once in a while? "What's got you in a mood?"

Jacob tried to pass his laugh as a cough, as she almost fell from the table.

Okay...sarcasm... see Jacob could hear when people were being sarcastic... sometimes. And now she was patting down her hair... "I just call it as I see it." so there. and now Mia was taking something from the table...Yeah, eat yo food! "I beleive it depends on my veiw of the situation, seeing as I was the victim." But that didn't matter, since the plate still had loads of bacon on it, he stuffed anoter 1 or 5 in his mouth.

No he wasn't! In fact Jacob would be twitching, pacing and biting his nails right now if it weren't for the magical magic of magical bacon... of magic.

"Well obviously it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm about to have my first match as captain, and have no idea how good Bennetts team is compared to mine." he said sarcasticly... see, he can do that sarcasm thingy too.
