Dahlia noticed the friendly wave and smiled back hesitantly. Then, without a second thought, she picked up her plate and hurried down to a gap across from the girl.

"Hi, I'm Dahlia. Are you new here too?"

"Hiya! Yeah I'm a first year. I'm really nervous are you? Happy to be in ravenclaw though."

Willow sighed as she realised the girl she'd tried to start a conversation with was talking to someone else.
But when you were ignored as she was often as she was, it eventually stopped annoying you.

Jaina sat at the Hufflepuff table and started scanning the Great Hall for anyone she might recognize from Diagon Alley. She smiled as she spotted Nerida and the girl from Gringotts... I really MUST get that girl's name! ...she waves frantically to them to let them know she made it safe and is a Hufflepuff!

Willow turned around and saw Jaina, from Gringotts. She waved back and pointed towards her Ravenclaw badge gesturing that she was in Ravenclaw.

Wow, that was loud. Hugo looked at the Huffleduffles for a moment and then looked back at Eino. That's right, classes. Homework. Oh yeah, that was Hogwarts too. "I'm ready... After a night's sleep," he said. Oh, he was so tired. "Also, I'm ready for all subjects except Potions, Divination and Arithmancy," he told Eino. He sure hated those subjects. "And you? Ready?"

Potions? Brewing potions was easy, with the occasional possibility of death, but it was always worth it. "Don't worry about Potions, I'll help you." Eino nodded, "Yes, I am ready." In fact, he had been waiting for classes all summer. He had a love-hate relationship with learning. Divination was interesting, but difficult, and Arithmancy was just plain boring. "I'm looking forward to Potions and Herbology the most." Yes, all of those extra hours he intended to spend in the potions laboratory and greenhouse!!

Alice felt a pang of guilt as the girl sighed, oops! She didn’t realise she had interrupted anything. She sent a wave and an apologetic smile her way. Then again, Alice thought to herself, she looked like a first year as well and we could all do with making friends, after all we would be spending the next seven years together. Trying to make her voice as loud as she could over the conversations going on around her she shouted, "Hey! Do you want to join us?"

Willow looked up. "Thanks!" She turned to Nerida and Aimee. "I'll be back in a minute." She then moved to join the other two.
"HI! I'm Willow. What's your names? Isn't Hogwart amazing?"

"Thanks," he said. He really had a problem with brewing stuff. He was more a crafting person. But he did okay last year. Not as bad as some of the huffies. "Yeah, I understand why," Hugo said, taking a bite of some chicken he managed to get a hold of. Eino had been studying for those all summer. The teachers would be so proud of his herbology cactus and his potions cactus potion thingie. And what had Hugo been doing? Watching grass grow in a muggle park. But whatever. He was sure teachers were going to like him too. "I'm mostly looking forward to Transfiguration and Charms." he liked DADA a lot too but that was more for aurors and stuff. He just didn't feel very brave between all the Gryffindors and Slytherins in that class. "Oh and flying," he added. Flying was the best actually. Not the pains of muggle gym, but also the chance of stretching your legs between subjects and having fun. "So, how are you and Adam coming along?" Hugo asked. He knew they weren't best buds, but what were they really fighting about?

"I'm Alice, pleased to meet you!. Yeah Hogwarts is brilliant! I'm so excited to be here, nervous to though. Are you looking forward to lessons?"

Dahlia flushed. She'd reacted to the wave so quickly, she'd hadn't noticed Willow speaking to her.

"Hi Willow, I'm Dahlia. I'm sorry about that, it's really nice to meet you. And you too Alice."

Willow smiled. "Dahlia is a really pretty name. So is Alice."

Flying was one of Eino's most dreadful subjects because it required so much physical activity and he was accustomed to learning from books, but the flying instructor was one of his favorite teachers, plus they got to fly magic carpets last year, so he was semi looking forward to it. Eino also loved Care of Magical Creatures, it was very important for him to devote a great deal of time and effort into that class for the sake of Y.W.H.O. In addition, he loved the CoMC's Professor's care with creatures; she was very careful and always cautious not to harm the creatures. But Hugo had long moved onto a different subject when Eino was still daydreaming about his classes. Adam? Oh right, that boy... Kurumi's boyfriend. "I haven't spoken to him since the train." And quite honestly, he didn't intend to ever again. Not that his rudeness bothered Eino, but it bothered Faustus, and for Faustus' sake Eino would avoid Adam.

"Pleasure to meet you to" Alice replied with a smile.

"Willow is a really pretty name as well!" Alice was grinning now, just happy to be making friends. It really wasn’t as hard as she thought it was going to be. "So what lessons are you guys looking forward to? Personally i can’t wait for Charms! I finally get to learn how to use this thing properly." She said as she pulled her wand from her pocket and gave it a careful wave.

Hugo looked at the ceiling.



He never realised how pretty it was. He looked back at Eino. "I'm gonna need Herbology too as I want to become a wandmaker. The shopkeeper at Ollivander's told me I had to pay attention in Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration," he said. He didn't exactly undersand why he needed transfiguration, but he enjoyed it, so whatever.

"Too bad," he said. "I thought Adam and you could be great friends," he told him. "Where do you keep the cactus anyway?" he asked Eino.

Brittany floated back towards the Ravenclaw table. She rarely ever seat still Unless it was for something important...Like sleep or something. She still didnt know anyone one really well enough to have an actually reason to be over here but here she was all the same. Maybe someone would talk to her anyway *shrug*

Elyon nodded back. "I've read all about it in our books. I love to read. Plus, my older brother Christopher told me about how first years are together in their classes." She noticed him glancing at the ceiling, looking puzzled. It looked as if there was no ceiling at all. "I've read about that too." She grinned, pointing at the sky. "It's enchanted to look like the sky outside. It's truly amazing, Hogwarts." She sighed and smiled back at him, so happy to be at this school.

She choked back a laugh, remembering what Adam had said about Kurumi calling the Potions professor 'Dragon Lady.' When she saw the look on his face, she hoped he didn't think she was making fun of him. Elyon cleared her throat. "I'm excited for all of them really, but I'm most excited for Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration. I adore animals, and can't wait to see all of the creatures of the Wizarding World as well. As for Transfiguration, I've read about how you turn objects into something else. I think that's simply amazing!" She grinned at the thought of herself turning a hat into a frog.

Wow, wandmaking sounded a lot more complicated than Eino had imagined. Makes sense why those subjects would be important seeing as wandmaking sounded like some sort of potion brewing, except instead of a liquid you created a solid. That was pretty close. "That's impressive. I never imagined wandmaking would be so complex and complicated." Eino didn't understand exactly why Hugo would think he could be great friends with Adam. To be fair, he hadn't even had a proper chance at meeting him, but the Adam didn't seem to be genuinely interested in meeting Eino anyway, unless it was to find out whether Eino liked-liked Kurumi. No way! She has cooties, probably. What was Hugo talking about now? "What cactus?" Eino asked with a confused look on his face.


Eino spotted a Hufflepuff spy student at the Ravenclaw house table and once their eyes caught each other's he nervously waved and muttered the word "hi." It all happened very quickly and spontaneously. He picked up his goblet and took another sip of water trying to avoid embarrassing himself any further. It was the sleep deprivation, he thought, but really he was always like that.

"It was," Dallin agreed. His voice was a murmur as he looked down at the table. Which reminded him, he should probably write to them tonight and tell them how cool Hogwarts is. He might, though, wait a little to write to his sisters.

At her question, Dal nodded. "I think so, yeah. But I didn't take a lot of them there, that I'm going to try here." Like Divination and Muggle Studies. He couldn't remember why he hadn't taken Muggle Studies before, considering he'd probably do really well in that class.

"'M very excited," he said, smiling back. I'm nervous too, but that doesn't matter. He added in his head with a short, quiet laugh. "Um, I transfered from Merlin's Acadamy of Magic... in America." he answered for the second time in like, two minutes.

He chuckled at her. "Yeah, I remember that feelings. It's kind of nice knowing you're bigger than some of the people." Although he sort of felt like a firstie again, so maybe he shouldn't talk. Still, he was older than most firsties.

"ohhh you are from America?",Fee said now excited herself,"i always wanted to travel there but never vot the chance to."Maybe next summer?!She really needed to send her mum an owl as soon as possible."But i am sure you will like it here at Hogwarts",the blonde nodded.Was there actually someone that didnt like being at the castle?!If so they must be mad.

"I know its probably totally pathetic but i am turning 13 next months that makes me feel soo grown up",the Slytherin laughed.But remembering she had started with almost 12,13 sounded much better."How do you like Ravenclaw so far by the way?",the girl asked smiling.Every house was cool but i you didnt feel comfy with it that really sucked.

"What?" Hugo exclaimed.
"Faustus, of course," he said, calming down a bit.

Brittany eyes was flinting back and forth between the unfamilar Ravenclaw faces until they stop Upon one Particuar set that were staring back at her. Next thing She knew she had been waved and spoken too all in about two seconds and before she could react he was apparently suddenly thirsty. A small smiled spread across her lips. She like this kid already because she more so gravitated towards the shy ones more so than the bold ones.

She quietly got up from her spot and walked over towards him and sat down next to him. she turned towrds him and put her face in her hands and stared at him for a moment before saying anything. "Hello" she said with a smile.

"Oh. well, what classes are you planning on taking?" she asked, wondering if they would be the ones she was hoping to take. "and whats you favorite class?" she added.

Faustus, Faustus, Faustus... "No, doesn't ring a bell." Eino said and searched the table for something to eat. There was chicken, mashed potatoes, rice, vegetables, but he opted for an apple instead, he wanted a very light dinner and would spend more effort on eating in the morning. Yes, he would have the breakfast of champions. "FAUSTUS!" Eino shouted suddenly. "Where is he?!" He looked everywhere: the top of the table, the benches, under the table, Hugo's pocket's, but Faustus was no where to be found. "I don't know where he is!!" Eino began to panic. This was his lifelong (two months, to be exact) research project and beloved pet, and now it was lost. Last time he remembered having Fautus was in the train, but not after that.

She's walking up to me? She is sitting down next to me? Now she's staring, why is she staring!? Eino began to sweat, he was quite nervous. He rarely talked to strangers, but he should be used to it by now since it had happened about a million times ever since he came to Hogwarts, but he was still very uncomfortable. "H-h-hi." Eino finally said with his voice trembling. He took another sip of water hoping it would help him become a little calmer but all he did was spill some of the water on his robes, which made him more nervous and embarrassed. "I-I'm... uh, M-m-my n-ame, ummm, is Eino." He said breaking the world record for taking the longest time to speak the shortest sentence.
