Seeing a girl come over and sit by herself, Dallin frowned. "Hey," he said, leaning over the table to look at her, "Wanna join us?" he glanced at Ellie and Fee, sure (or hoping, at least) that they wouldn't mind.
He just looked at her when she asked if he got to be their dress up doll. "I refused to wear a dress." he told her simply. He kept his face remotely emotion-free for a second before smiling and shaking his head. "I know that sounds pathetic. But trust me, it was not my first choice."
"Oh, well thanks," he said with a chuckle. "You're pretty cool yourself." And her friends probably were too. Because cool people had cool friends, usually.
"I'm a fan of Puddlemere United. Although the Holyhead Harpies aren't bad either." he smirked down at the table; of course he liked the all-girls Quidditch team. That was a given. He looked up, staring at nothing for a little while he thought about the sports he played.
"Well, I like to play football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. I was on a city league football and baseball team." He was pretty sure that if he had gone to muggle high school, he would've tried out for the school teams for those two sports. "And I surf and swim." He remembered. "Do you like muggle sports?"
Realizing someone had finally noticed her, Emmaleigh smiled at the greeting "Hello. " She nodded. "Sure." she said as she got up and moved alittle closer to the boy and his group. "I'm, Emmaleigh."
"My black cat Pandora came with me. I had to have a friend keep her for me until we came back. I've missed her terribly," Rowan said, while wondering what exactly Panda would be getting into while they were all eating.
"aww nice name what made you decide to call her that?" she asked curious
Sofia fet she had stood there long enough so she just sat down fast. Perhaps she could find someone else to talk to. She looked around and just said, "Hi. I'm Sofia nice to meet you all."
Emily ran into the feast, late this time. She wasn't wearing shoes and she wore jingling silver bangles around her ankles Fifth year at last! she was so excited. She sat down on the bench and looked around for people she knew, where was Keeley?
Sofia fet she had stood there long enough so she just sat down fast. Perhaps she could find someone else to talk to. She looked around and just said, "Hi. I'm Sofia nice to meet you all."
Lilly-anne turned to the girl who had just arrived "hey do ya wanna sit down" she asked smiling at her
Ellie realized her mouth had fallen open, and quickly closed it. She had been totally silent during the both of their explanations. And what Jacob had said about the OWL information...well, that she couldn't argue with. There was always the case that Vindictus had made a mistake, but now that it came to the point where the only way this would be fully resolved would be to go to him, she'd rather not. He scared her.
And then Jacob's speech about her stealing his badge and not being on the team anymore...Wow. So...he really was captain then? Like really?
Also, Vashti was pretty calm about this whole matter. Whereas Ellie's head was just buzzing with rejections. "Did you already know about this?" she asked her. Because, that really wasn't nice Mr. Blunt, to not let Ellie in on it. HMPH.
But then again, she was afraid to not be on the team. So..."I should go apologize?" Yes?
She hovered by Vashti to listen to the answer to her previous two questions, then went and sat next to Jacob. "I'm sorry? Congratulations Captain." This was going to take a loooooooong time to accept.
Jacob sat at the table and stared at the badge for a few seconds, and then around at the students at the table, he felt slightly better. He was Captain of such a great group of people, and he WAS going to lead Ravenclaw to victory this term. He was goin Sudeg to be added to the long line of great captains... yes he will!
Jacob started fiddleing with the badge trying to pin it to his robes. But suddenly something made him jump, and the pin stuck him in the finger... Ouch! Evil Pin. Jacob looked around to see Ellie trying to apologize... No! Jacob finished pinning the badge to his robes and sucked on the bead of blood on his finger. Jacob got up and moved away from her to a more secluded part of the table... Jacob will not accept the apology, but at least he got the satisfaction of knowing that she was wrong.
"aww nice name what made you decide to call her that?" she asked curious
Rowan laughed. "That was an easy one. You know what they say about not opening Pandora's box? Well I did and she shot out of there like a canon and ran straight up the bed curtains. It seemed like a good name for someone so full of trouble-making."
Text Cut: GrapeyGrapers McGrapperstien...haha...okey see you later then..."
Satine shook her head, "Yes I thought it was odd also. But some schools just don't even really acknowledge them. They still view them a lot like the Death Eaters from the history books did. It's kind of disturbing. At one school my host family told me not to mention that my dad was a muggle...and boy was I happy they gave me that advice." she said shaking her head in a left and right motion.
Her face lit up when Fallon mentioned the girly stuff, "O I loved it. They encouraged us to be different and we could decorate our house robes and everyone wore heels and jewelery galore and...welll...it was a dream come true for me...I just loved it...and I got lots of heels as going away presents..." she said with a smile and held up her blue pair that she had on now.
She shook her head at Fallon and could tell that she thought there was more there and that maybe she wasn't the only one that had dreams of wearing a badge as well. She smiled at Fallon with an I know how you feel look.
"O yes Seventh Year prank...I'm going to start thinking about this hard...maybe there's some ideas in the yearbooks from the past few years..." she said thinking about the library...her fave place in the school..."Well, maybe we could put together three or four pranks for our last year...and we now have a whole year to plan them...yes yes yes..." she said shaking her head up and down.
Fallon listened as Satine talked. It really was disturbing. Especially the part about not being able to disclose that her dad was a muggle. "Wow. I didn't think people like that were still around. Then again, some people just don't change." It really was horrible that there were still wizards that thought that way.
Fallon giggled at Satine's excitement. "The heels and jewelry sound fun. Oh that reminds me!" Fallon dug around in her bag for Satine's gift. She had completely forgotten about them until now. She would have to give everyone else theirs once they got to the common room. She finally found the one wrapped in sparkly purple wrapping paper. "This is for you." She handed Satine the present, hoping she would like it.
Fallon didn't know if there would be. Most people behaved at Hogwarts, which was kind of strange. "I'll start researching some other things then. Maybe stuff from way back in the past." She knew there had been many infamous pranksters throughout Hogwarts history. They just needed to be researched.

Ellie had never met the qudditch captian before, but she knew who he was. Well, what he looked like anyway. She soon spotted him from down the table. She had a few questions about quidditch that year. Hmm. She got up from her seat and walked over to where he sat. When she got closer she realized that he didn't really seem to happy.
She took an empty seat next to him. "Hey. Jacob Blunt, right?" She asked, a little nervous. She wanted to make a good impression, hoping to try out for the team this year. "I'm Ellie Johanson, fourth year." She extended her hand out for him to shake with a smile. "I was wondering if I could ask you a question or two about Quidditch this year." She smiled, showing her pearly whites.
Lilly-anne turned to the girl who had just arrived "hey do ya wanna sit down" she asked smiling at her
Sofia smiled back. "Can I?" After she said it she releasied it was a silly thing to say. "Thanks" The girl looked like she was older than Sofia, possible fourth or fifth year. "So do you like Quidditch?"

It would be stupid just to have friends in the same house as her anyways, she decided, so it was a plus that one of the most awesome people she knew wasn't in her house. She grinned at Harley, and then glanced up at the ceiling again. Wooah, how did it get like that?
Oh yeah... magic.
"I don't zink I will get lost," Aimée giggled, tugging at the ends of her plaits. "I know I will!" This place was so much bigger than Beauxbatons, she was almost glad she wasn't one of the tiny first years running around - although being a completely new Fourth year wasn't much better.
Super heros? Aimée laughed at the randomness of Harley's question. "I don't suppose I've ever really thought about it," she mused, smiling to herself. "But... well, yes, I s'pose I do."
Being in the same house didnt matter though, right ? She wasn't sure what these whole house things were apart from the fact that she was in one of them, all the people who she shared a common room and dorm with were also in that house and that she should be proud of her house. OH And that her house colour was green. Four facts wasn't really a lot but meh, she'd not heard anything about not being able to socialise with people in other houses so she was gonna spend lots and lots of time with Aimée, well aslong as Aimée wanted too. Harley hoped she did because she was her first friend and she was awesome; that was always a bonus.
Harley listened as Aimée said she didnt think she'd get lost, not really noticing the emphasis on think, she only noticed the emphasis when Aimée said she knew she'd get lost. Aww. "Well, maybe if we got lost together it wouldnt be so bad." They could just panic together. hehe.
The redhead giggled as Aimée laughed. Waiting for a reply anxiously, her face light up as the word yes escaped Aimée's mout. along with some other words but yeah Harley hadnt been listening to those. "YAY! I looove superhero's. theyre so cooool. What else do you like ?"

What?! No "it's okay" or "I understand"? Well FINE then, Jacob, because Ellie will NOT be apologizing twice. She was still doubting it a bit anyway.

Well...that was a shocker...
Spike scratched his head as he made his way from being sorted to his House table. He frowned underneath his hair, and he muttered himself. About what was anyone's guess, but they would probably get the feeling of disbelief as he spoke. He wasn't thought to be clever, especially by his parents...unruly and boyish with a love of all things creepy crawly or muddy. Studying had never exactly been his thing. Not the behind the desk type. Exploring woods - now that was a completely different matter. Maybe the Sorting Hat appreciated that? Because otherwise Spike really couldn't see why he was here.
"'Lo Ellie," he said, cheeks puffed out in perplexion. Though, he was glad to see her familiar face in his house. And he'd liked her, so least he stood a chance of fitting in even if he wasn't the brainiest. "Apparently I'm a Ravenclaw."
Oh Spike!
"Congratulations kid!" What was that, like, the 4th time she said that tonight?
Ellie managed a smile for Spike's sake, though she was really still thinking about Jacob and as confused as ever. She leaned over to give him a hug...inches from him, though, she remembered the insects on his person. Yeah, not a good idea maybe?
"You'll do great in here." He would be fun to hang out with in the common room. He was a cool kid after all. Unlike Jacob.

She looked around wondering who had left the box; the cookies looked almost too beautiful to eat!
Kurumi turned and saw Alice sitting down at the Ravenclaw table looking rather adorable in her new blue robes. She supposed she could spend a little more time here before she headed back to the Gryffindor table. "Alice!" Kurumi called approaching the girl. "You got sorted into Ravenclaw, congratulations." Although, Kurumi had been hoping she would be put into Gryffindor. "Oh, those are some cookies I baked. I am always baking." Kurumi couldn't remember if she had given Alice any of her pumpkin cookies on the train or not. It may have been too close to their arrival at Hogwarts and Kurumi didn't want to spoil the girl's appetite.

Sofia smiled back. "Can I?" After she said it she releasied it was a silly thing to say. "Thanks" The girl looked like she was older than Sofia, possible fourth or fifth year. "So do you like Quidditch?"
"course ya can" she said smiling at the young girl cheerfully "ah i love it i'm not on the team but i might try out this year i always play with my cousins" she said smiling "what about you ever played?"
Realizing someone had finally noticed her, Emmaleigh smiled at the greeting "Hello. " She nodded. "Sure." she said as she got up and moved alittle closer to the boy and his group. "I'm, Emmaleigh."
Dal smiled at the girl as she came over. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Dallin." He looked down at her robes, seeing that she wasn't in Ravenclaw. "What year are you in?" he questioned. Once again, he couldn't tell by just looking at her. But she looked young? Surely not a sixth or seventh year, at least.
Rowan laughed. "That was an easy one. You know what they say about not opening Pandora's box? Well I did and she shot out of there like a canon and ran straight up the bed curtains. It seemed like a good name for someone so full of trouble-making."
Margery sighed and looked around her house table for a familiar face. she came back empty handed, with no new friends, because she had simply been too nervous to talk to anyone. " Hi Rowan!"Margery smiled, finally spotting a friend. "Can i sit with you guys?"She turned to the new person sitting with Rowan, "Hi, i'm Margery, i'm a first year.
"course ya can" she said smiling at the young girl cheerfully "ah i love it i'm not on the team but i might try out this year i always play with my cousins" she said smiling "what about you ever played?"
"I love Quidditch! I normally play the position of Keeper when I play with the kids in our neighbourhood. What about you?" Sofia beamed, she couldn't help it... Whilst attempting to keep eye contact with the girl she tried to move a chicken drumstick into her plate. She knew she had failed when she heard a thump as it landed on the table. Suddenly she noticed that she hadn't even asked the friendly girl's name.

Lauging with him she said "Oh, I don't blame you. I'm not a fan of dresses either." Though she probably would look better in one, hands down.
"Puddlemere United, me too!" she exclaimed a little to loudly. But it was true, she loved them. She laughed. "Heh, yeah. They're my favorite..." She smirked a little when he brought up the Holyhead Harpies. Of cooourse. "Oh riiight. And not just because it's a team full of women, right?" she teased. Riiight.
Ellie blinked. Who knew muggles had so much to do. Ah, basketball! That's what that was called. All she knew was that there was an orange ball and hoop. Other than that it was very boring. She recognized the name of football because she'd always thought it was odd that they never actually used their feet... "Huh. Okay. Sounds cool, though I don't know most of them." she said with a light laugh. "I do know soccer though. I like watching it, though I'm horrible at playing." she shrugged.

He really felt bad for her and gave her a quick hug to try and cheer her up. He himself has had some trying moments the last couple of years but he was at least able to be with his parents so he knew it must of been hard these last couple of years. He was proud of her though for her bravery as she seemed to take it all in stride.
When she finished explaining, she noticed Draven had a sad look on his face. Oh, no she didn't mean to make him feel bad for her. "Oh, don't look so sad! It's okay, not a big deal." She smiled reassuringly.
Ellie swallowed when he asked about her dad. Oh. Well, my dad... He passed. A few years back." She paused. "But, I swear it's okay. It's sad, yes, but... it's okay." She said. Death was a sad thing, but she loved her dad, and loved talking about him. Even if he wasn't still with her.
Emily smelled the air in the castle, it certainly wasn't the gypsy village. She lived there suring the summer, it was her families village. She learned divination all summer. Her bare feet touched the floor and the silver bangles around her ankles jungled as they usually did. She wore a bindi in the center of her forehead in ravenclaw blue with a single bronze jewel in the very middle. Alice then started to sing to herself:
Good morning starshine, the earth says hello! You twinkle above us, we twinkle below.....
Ellie had never met the qudditch captian before, but she knew who he was. Well, what he looked like anyway. She soon spotted him from down the table. She smiled, showing her pearly whites.
Jacob just stared directly ahead past all the other students and straight at the wall... the cold stone wall... like what he was feeling. Where was a Lainey when you needed one?!
Jacob turned at the sound of his name... Hello, who's there. Oh person he didn't know... how did she know his name, and that he was captain... he'd only been wearing the badge for a few seconds... Oh Well. What ever, it was probably better not to ask. "Ellie." he said with a nod... great, his brain was working super hard now... he had to match one Ellie with two diffrent faces. That was just perfect.
Oh and she had quidditch questions... he didn't really want that 'til the common room, but what ever. "Sure, go right ahead" he said with what he hoped was a smile
"Its nice to meet you too, Dallin." she said as she rearranged her robes and tucked her hair behind her ear. "Second, what about you?" she looked up at the boy. He looked older than her, but not by much.
"chaser or seeker fa me 'm more of a chaser though" she said with a smile "what year are you in by the way, ;m a fourth year"

Alice grinned from ear to ear, happy and relieved to see a familiar face." Hi kurumi! And thanks!. I did suspect you had left them here, after the cookies you gave me on the train and in Diagon Alley, i guess you really do like baking huh" Alice chuckled quietly. "They really are delicious though, you certainly have a talent."
Keeley smiled. She had always liked her name, even if it was super weird. But then again, she was super weird too, so it all worked out in the end. Staring at the awesomely magical color changing quill of awesome, the girl felt totally in awe. "C-can I borrow it?" It was soooo purty.
"No worries, I have a bit of a baby face. My hair probably doesn't help." Almost everyone else Keeley had met with a pixie cut was, like, seven. But she quite liked her baby face and hair. "I suppose it'll be a blessing, eventually." Giggling, Keeley played with the quill so that it inked rainbow. Gah, so freaking cool! But she also had to agree, the Ravenclaw table was quite full of hot super models. Giggle!snort.
"I actually grew up in Germany, but now I live with a gypsy caravan." Yeah, her backstory was sort of jacked up. But living with gypsies was quite awesome. "Where are you from?" MERLIN. When would the food get here? Keeley felt as though her stomach would implode. She was definately a hungry hungry hippo.
Satine smiled at her enthusiasm, "O of course you can borrow any of them..." she said handing the girl her purple box of quills. "O just be careful there is a trick quill in there somewhere that my cousin gave me a s a joke. " she said shaking her head left and right.
Satine was in awe of her background."Wow as if Germany wasn't cool enough...a gypsy caravan...that is crazy cool" she said staring at the girl, "So that means that you're the first gypsy I've ever met?" she said letting her statement fade off like a question.
"O my rents moved to England during my first year here at Hogwarts. My mom works for the Department of Education and my pops is the CEO of a company that the Parliament contracts out to." she said it almost like she was reading it...the first few days she always had to repeat the same stories so it almost became monotonous. "But I actually grew up in Texas!" she said with her thick Texas accent excitedly....this was the best part...she always loved the way peeps looked at her on that one.
"chaser or seeker fa me 'm more of a chaser though" she said with a smile "what year are you in by the way, ;m a fourth year"
"Me, I'm a first year. I never asked your name, mine's Sofia, Sofia Kurt but I don't know if I told you that already." She tucked a strand of hair behind her hair nervously and began to fiddle with one of her plaits.
