Helen then turned around to see the Slytherin Boy that Katelynn was talking to, she looked at Katelynn and saw that she was getting a bit nervous.

Alex heard his name being called out and he stopped looking for the boy. "Hey Hugo." he smiled. Alright they hadn't met that many times but he felt like he knew Hugo because well Fee had talked about him a lot. A lot, a lot.

He looked down at his robes and then up with a grin. "Yes I did, not that surprising but still." he chuckled. "Glad to be back at Hogwarts?"

"Hey yeah thanks." Alex smiled widely at the girl. They had met briefly in the train on their way there.

"I don't think we introduced ourselves properly before." he chuckled. The train had arrived and then he had kind of gotten lost on his way to the Sorting Hat. Not that he would ever admit that he had gotten lost... "Alex Reed, third year Slytherin." Oh how good that sounded, finally he could introduce himself with his Hogwarts house.

Firsties! Alex quickly looked at the group but no, the boy he had chased on the train wasn't there. Phew. "Sure." he smiled. Meeting people was always nice.

"Nice to meet you girls, I'm Alex." he said extending his hand for them. Um, who should he shake hands with first? Ugh, desicions desicions. He went for the girl who had spoken up, Katelynn. Good name.

She had said so much, Natasha was surprised. "I've read about it! That's so cool!" she said excitedly, "I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but I moved to Córdoba, Spain a few years ago with my mother. She was dating some soccer star or something."

Natasha smiled at Alice. "So, are you excited for term to start? What classes are you excited for?"

Woah, woah Chacha, slow down... Natasha thought to herself, stopping talking before Alice got scared and left. She realized was getting a bit carried away with the questions. She couldn't help it, she was just so excited to be making a friend. :)

Katelynn felt relieved. She shook hands with the boy apparently named Alex. "Nice to meet you too" she said and smiled. urgh, that was a lame comment. She might only be 11, but she should at least know howl to talk without sounding stupid.
"You wanna sit down?"


Katelynn turned around to find Helen looking at her. "It's OK right?" she whispered.
She didn't quite know why, but there was something about this boy that Katelynn quite liked. She had always thought that Slytherins were a bit mean, but this boy seemed nice.

" Hey Alex, nice to meet you too. " Helen said after Katelynn offered Alex to sit down. He seemed nice even though he is a Slytherin and a third year, Helen thought as many rumours were that they were mean but she didnt believe them and evidence that they were nice was right in front of her.

"Yeh im really excited and as you can probably tell really nervous! I'm not sure about the classes." Alice thought for a few moments, playing with her hair. "I think Charms will be brilliant, i have watched my sisters and mum do spells and things around the house for a few years now and it looks really fun but i bet it will be difficult. I'm kind of scared about Potions though, knowing me i will end up getting anxious and clumsy and then blow the classroom up."

Alice gave a nervous laugh even though she was serious, if the few science classes she had taken at her muggle school were anything to go by Potions would defiantly be her worst lesson. "So you live in Spain? That’s cool! But how come you came to Hogwarts? Don't they have any schools for magic over there?"

Lilly-anne smiled at him
"na i don think we did, 'm Lily-anne Third year Ravenclaw" it had been a while since she had intoroduced her self to anyone last year she spent the whole year in a sort of morning period. this leading to complety losing contact with Jay, Amy, Maddie everyone she hadnt spotted them on the train or the hall. she smiled at him
"so were you in any of ma classes last year don think i spotted ya if ya were"

Christopher was ecstatic! He was finally here in the Great Dining Hall, sitting down with his fellow Ravenclaws. His parents were Ravenclaws, and so were his grandparents, he couldn't forget the feeling of euphoria when the Sorting Hat bellowed "Ravenclaw!" This was one of his happiest moments, he was sure for more to come along with the next few years.

As soon as the high of the moment died down, the feeling of anxiety and awkwardness kicked in. Only then did Chris notice that he had no friends whatsoever in this school. He spent his whole time on the Express reading a book he picked up at Flourish and Blotts. As much as he disliked the company of others, he decided to scan around for any potential "friends". The mere thought of it made him vomit a little inside.

Chris decided that he would, at his best, try to avoid any First years that looked at the least, rambunctious. He deemed them too simple-minded and noisy for his own good. He looked left and right for anyone who was not preoccupied with someone else but found that everyone was in a conversation with at least someone else.

But then, at the far end of the table, he saw a Seventh year girl sitting alone, poking at her food. She wore combat boots and clothes that made a statement saying "Back off, I'll bite your head off if I could get away with it." Maybe not the best person to approach, but it's a start, not all Seventh years wanted to shove your head down the toilet, at least that's what my older cousins said.

Christopher sucked up his prided and walked up to the girl. "Err, hey, my name is Christopher Vale, I'm a First year, nice to meet you." Not the best of introductions, but that would work.

"I'm excited for Charms too!" Natasha said excitedly, "I'm muggleborn, so I haven't really seen it... Well, except for at Diagon Alley, but I've read about it and it seems pretty cool. And Potions definitely doesn't seem like anything I'd be interested in either."

She smiled at Alice, and tucked her hair behind her ear. "And yeah, there probably is a school in Spain, but Hogwarts is the best and I wanted to go to the best school of magic. Besides, my mom has friends I can stay with during holidays in London, and I prefer to be far away from home anyway. It gives me a chance to practice my English." She looked all around. She had just noticed that the ceiling looked like the sky. "This place is pretty cool, huh? I love it here so far."

Alex smiled and shrugged. Sure, why not? Firsties were so cute, he just wanted to hug them all. *squish, squish* but he wasn't going to. Never fear.

"Thanks. You're sure I won't be booed at here then?" he chuckled. Of course the Ravvies wouldn't boo at him for being a Slytherin. Right? Eeek.

Alex gave Helen a smile when he sat down. "So you're both firsties- I mean you're both in your first year and in Ravenclaw?" he asked all polite.

"Nice to meet you Lily-Anne." Alex smiled as he sat down next to her. "No I wasn't, I'm a transfer so I just got sorted." he chuckled. Which must have looked pretty funny when he thought about it. A third year among all the adorable firsties, oh well he could pull it off. Erm, right.

"So, we're both third years perhaps we have some classes together this year." he said, it was always nice to meet people from his own year, no matter the house.

Ugh. Wait- that should be a double Ugh. Why the ughing? Well, the food wasn't here yet. And that was becoming quite the issue, seeing as Keeley's stomach was about to wither away, and it was growling quite loudly, so that anyone sitting around her could probably hear it. Growl growl.

Pushing back a bit of her boyishly short hair, the girl pulled out one of her muggle markers. Of course, she had to use the quills during class, but these just seemed so much more practical. Almost without realising she was doing it, Keeley began to doodle on her hands. Meh, it was a habit of boredom.

Transfer she was surprised
"where'd ya transfer from" she asked curiously she hadn't really payed attention to other wizard school all her family had come to hogwarts it was all she knew.
"i'm sure we will have clases together i mean they split the students evenly im sure we will have at least one class." she said with a smile directed at Alex

Alice shifted in her seat a little and slowly looked round the Great Hall; on every table she could see happy faces and people making new friends. She smiled as she thought, why had she been so nervous? She was at Hogwarts! The school her mum and sisters had told her stories about since she was a little girl and it was her now her second home for the next 7 years."Yeah, this place is brilliant!"

Rowan made her way to her favorite seat at the house table and sat down. This being only her second year here at Hogwarts she was having a hard time finding someone she knew. Ah well, she thought to herself, that's what you get for studying all the time. Perhaps I will run into someone else who was feeling a bit lonely, she sighed.

Heh. "All right, Fee," Charisa said with a nod. Now that was a fun name to say!

And wowie, she WAS a Slytherin. Second year, no less. Charisa was excited about meeting any first years from her own house, but this was really a lot cooler. She nodded enthusiastically in response to Fee's questions. "Yes, I was just sorted," she said. Squeeeee. She'd been kind of nervous about the sorting, but now she wouldn't admit it. It had actually been funnnn! "I'm only SO excited," she went on, laughing. "I can't wait to start classes." WHOA that sounded nerdy. Giggle.

Ohhhh. Charisa nodded as she listened to Natasha explain. "That's interesting," she said. "Spanish, eh? Can you speak it still? Foreign languages were like awesomesauce, you know.

"Well, I'm originally from the Ukraine, but my family moved to England when I was nine," Charisa said. "Nothing quite so out of the ordinary," she added with a grin. "But, hey, Puerto Rico, huh? Niiiiice. How was it there?" she asked curiously. Charisa was just programmed for colder climates, but all that Caribbean island dealios sounded lovely.

Satine smoothed out her robes and did a quick check of her reflection in one of the windows illumiated by candle light in the Entrance Hall. She took a deep breath and then pushed through the doors of the Great Hall. She glanced around the room at all of the hustle and bustle and said under her breath, "Yes it's great to be back." SHe headed to her familiar table and noticed that it was overrun by new faces. She found a spot and glanced around for new faces to meet.

She smiled her famous sparkling smile at a very young girl that must be a firstie....or no maybe a second year. "Howzit, I'm Satine, sixth year." she said holding out her right hand. "It's nice to meet you...are you a firstie or second?" she asked as she glanced around.

As she glanced, she noticed a girl drawing...well...maybe more doodling on her hand. She smiled and reached into her purple bag and pulled out some parchment.

"Howzit, I'm Satine, sixth year." she said as she handed the girl the parchment. "Trust me from personal experience the professors highly dislike you drawing on yourself....some just because but some are afraid you'll draw a masterpiece and then you'll just wash it away." she said with a little gigglie. She examined the girl again and decided she must be a firstie. "Are you a firstie? If so, let me be the first one to welcome you Ravvie, the house of the most Intelligent and best looking" she said with a little wink.

As she spoke, she noticed a familiar face busy in conversation. She just smiled and waved over the heads of all of the newbies hoping Alex hadn't forgotten who she was already.

"Nice to meet you, Satine. I'm Rowan, second year." She smiled her biggest (but nervous) smile. She couldn't believe that a Sixth year was talking to HER. "Are you excited to be back at Hogwart?" she asked shyly, not really sure what to say.

Lilly-anne spotted a girl not mujch younger than herself sitting on her own
"Hey" she said with a smile said with a smile "whats ya name, 'm Lilly-anne 'm a third year"

Rene had been shun from the slytherin basically. To many mean people. She decided to try her luck on the Claw side of the Great Hall. She walked over to a young girl and sat down next to her. "Hello" she said smiling at the girl "Im Rene Cullen. Im in Hufflepuff." She was only trying to be friendly maybe this would work.

"Hi Lilly-anne. I'm Rowan, second year. Nice to meet you." She grinned at the new girl. It was nice to meet new people. "So, are you excited to be back?"

" No, you wont get booed - we all think that your nice. Just because your in Slytherin, doesnt mean that we all cant be friends. " Helen said to Alex, trying to make him feel welcome even though he was the older one.

Wow! So popular all of a sudden, she thought to herself. "Hello Rene. I'm Rowan, second year Ravenclaw. It's nice to meet you," she beamed at the girl. Oh no, she thought to herself. Don't seem TOO eager to make friends. You'll scare people away.

"nice to meet ya Rowan, Yeah 'm glad to back hoping this year'll be better then my last had bit of a rough year." she said with a small smile "bu' 'm really happy to be 'ere it like 'n escape. what about you" she smiled a real smile at the younger girl

"I love being here too. Mostly because I HATE being back home. I had a rough year last year too. But this year is already looking up. I think that I might actually make some friends this year. So what is your favorite subject?"

Katelynn chose to answer this one. "Yeah, really exited to start at Hogwarts! What year are you in?"
Firsties? It actually sounded kinda cool - well, maybe a bit rude, and it sounded as though he was talking to babies, but Katelynn didn't mind the word that much.
