"hey" she said smiling at the boy "my names Lilly-anne, i havn't seen you around before did you move here from another school?" she asked hoping she wasn't being to egar, but she couldn't help it she was perky and liked meeting new people |
Well, things were pretty quiet now, weren't they? Well, quieter. There was still the overall noise of all the people in the room chatting with one another, but there was no shouting now that Jacob had stormed off somewhere with Ellie quickly following when Vashti had agreed that she ought to go apologize, and that Leo kid was being pretty quiet. So with no one to talk to and no one to yell at her now, Vashti turned her attention back to the Quibbler which was still face down on the table in front of her. Where had she left off? Somewhere in the nargle article, but now she couldn't remember which paragraph she'd stopped at. So with a sigh she started at the beginning. |

Daniel noticed that Emily didn't say anything about him being from Kent. Just proved how boring it was so Daniel decided to ask where she was from. ”So Emily where is this gypsy village your from?” While waiting for Emily to answer Daniel looked around and spotted a certain friend who he hadn't talked to in a while. Daniel still wanted to know more about gypsys so he couldn't leave Emily so he hoped Fee would see him . |

Wow was he sweating??? Did she seem that Intimadating to him or did he just think she was ugl or something. She would have to check her apperance in a moment to make sure. She watched as he Struggling to speak to her. He must not have noticed her House Colors she was a hufflepuff after all. They were know to be gentle... unless provoked :shifty:. She smiled politley waiting for him to get everything out and was just about to introduce herself also when he took a drink again. Wow he was thirsty. He wasted a bit of water on him from his drink and she knew he wouldnt be comfortable after that. She needed to help him. Yes that what she would do. As he told her his name she pulled out her wand and although she didnt directly point it at him it was visable for him to see while she thought of the drying spell. After about 10 long Seconds of not being able to think of it she put her wand away as if nothing happened and smiled sweetly at him. "Hello Eino. Its a pleasure to meet you. Im Brittany Lee second year Hufflepuff. what year are you in?" she asked taking back to staring at him again. He must have thought she was odd But she wasnt she just wanted to be friendly |
Audrey sat on the long bench, listening to everyone speak in their amazing British accents and missing America. She looked at the eagle on her chest and grasped the Hazel Wood wand in her hand. It felt so different than her old one back in America. "If a new wand will choose me.." she thought, "Can I really make friends? Have a new beginning?" |

Winston tried to keep his face smooth when he heard that she was excited for Care of Magical Creatures. Animals smelled. And he was certain that the students in that class would have to clean up poo and mud. Yuck. "Transifiguration does sound a bit exciting," Winston admitted. "Though I never quite understood the point." Really, was there a point? Why would you bother to turn a pumpkin into a stool? It was a waste of a perfectly good pumpkin, in Winston's opinion. |

She watched Alice wave the wand over the table. "Have you do any spells yet? I've been practicing a few, but I'm not very good yet." |

Elyon saw him frown a bit when she mentioned Care of Magical Creatures. "What's wrong? Don't you like animals?" She really didn't care whether he did or not, she just wanted to see why he didn't seem to like them. "I love animals! It's one of my passions, to help nurse the sick and wounded ones back to health. I volunteered at a muggle animal shelter back home." She shrugged and smiled remembering how she found her kitty, Chunk. "Transfiguration could be really useful too! I guess we'll learn as we go along, won't we?" She smiled, imagining herself using all sorts of crazy magic, getting into all sorts of shananigans. She figured she and Winston were pretty different, but thought they'd still be good friends. |
Robert bit late. He walked to Ravenclaw house table, and sat alone. Maybe he can met some first year mate. Bit tired because he can't sleep last night. |

For whomever. ^_____^ Grrrrrumblerumble. Charisa frowned and glanced down at her stomach, feeling the strange and uncharacteristic urge to start talking to her belly and tell it to quiet down. She glanced around almost wildly for something nice and belly-satisfying to eat, finally settling on a brownie. She took it and ate... snarfed... it up. There, silly stomach! How could it complain after she had already eaten a full meal and a dessert? Wiping the remaining brownie crumbs from her fingers, Charisa put her head in one hand and leaned on the table with her elbow. She was getting thirsty now. Lifting her glass of pumpkin juice, she took a short sip. Ahh. Tiredness. Hopefully no one would notice if she... shut her eyes for a bit? |

Once she reached the table she overheard a small girl talking about the prospect of cruel transfiguration. Not even being able to stop herself she chimed in, "Me too!" Realizing all eyes were now on her she continued, "I mean, uh I think it's cruel as... right. Hello, I'm Selina Skylar." |

He wrinkled his nose and shook his head slowly. "I only like well-trained cats. Otherwise, they're too dirty and smelly and rambunctious," he explained in what he hoped was a reasonably diplomatic way. "Oh yes, about transfiguration." Winston at least partially agreed with the girl about transfiguration. They would learn as they went along. He disagreed about the usefulness, but that was fine. Quote:

Alice giggled as she looked up to see the Gryffindor girl talking to her. She gave selina a warm smile and continued "I did raise this argument with my sister at the time...about the rat i mean. I can't help thinking it must hurt, suddenly being transformed into an inanimate object but of course people never seem to take the feelings of such a small animal into consideration. Though I don't really understand how magic works yet so maybe i am wrong." Finishing her sentence Alice realised she had forgotten to introduce herself and instead had just carried on her rant. Feeling slightly ashamed of her rudeness she said "Oh and I'm Alice, Alice Measom. It's very nice to meet you Selina". |
