At her question, Dal nodded. "I think so, yeah. But I didn't take a lot of them there, that I'm going to try here." Like Divination and Muggle Studies. He couldn't remember why he hadn't taken Muggle Studies before, considering he'd probably do really well in that class.

"'M very excited," he said, smiling back. I'm nervous too, but that doesn't matter. He added in his head with a short, quiet laugh. "Um, I transfered from Merlin's Acadamy of Magic... in America." he answered for the second time in like, two minutes.

He chuckled at her. "Yeah, I remember that feelings. It's kind of nice knowing you're bigger than some of the people." Although he sort of felt like a firstie again, so maybe he shouldn't talk. Still, he was older than most firsties.

Lilly-anne placed her knife and fork down and look down the table at her fellow ravencaws, as she did she spotted a boy who looked about her age but she was sure she hadn't seen him before. Thats wierd maybe he was a transfer.
"hey" she said smiling at the boy "my names Lilly-anne, i havn't seen you around before did you move here from another school?" she asked hoping she wasn't being to egar, but she couldn't help it she was perky and liked meeting new people

Well, things were pretty quiet now, weren't they? Well, quieter. There was still the overall noise of all the people in the room chatting with one another, but there was no shouting now that Jacob had stormed off somewhere with Ellie quickly following when Vashti had agreed that she ought to go apologize, and that Leo kid was being pretty quiet. So with no one to talk to and no one to yell at her now, Vashti turned her attention back to the Quibbler which was still face down on the table in front of her.

Where had she left off? Somewhere in the nargle article, but now she couldn't remember which paragraph she'd stopped at. So with a sigh she started at the beginning.

Daniel noticed that Emily didn't say anything about him being from Kent. Just proved how boring it was so Daniel decided to ask where she was from. ”So Emily where is this gypsy village your from?”

While waiting for Emily to answer Daniel looked around and spotted a certain friend who he hadn't talked to in a while. Daniel still wanted to know more about gypsys so he couldn't leave Emily so he hoped Fee would see him .

Yes, he would have the breakfast of champions. "FAUSTUS!" Eino shouted suddenly. "Where is he?!" He looked everywhere: the top of the table, the benches, under the table, Hugo's pocket's, but Faustus was no where to be found. "I don't know where he is!!" Eino began to panic. This was his lifelong (two months, to be exact) research project and beloved pet, and now it was lost. Last time he remembered having Fautus was in the train, but not after that.

She's walking up to me? She is sitting down next to me? Now she's staring, why is she staring!? Eino began to sweat, he was quite nervous. He rarely talked to strangers, but he should be used to it by now since it had happened about a million times ever since he came to Hogwarts, but he was still very uncomfortable. "H-h-hi." Eino finally said with his voice trembling. He took another sip of water hoping it would help him become a little calmer but all he did was spill some of the water on his robes, which made him more nervous and embarrassed. "I-I'm... uh, M-m-my n-ame, ummm, is Eino." He said breaking the world record for taking the longest time to speak the shortest sentence.

Wow was he sweating??? Did she seem that Intimadating to him or did he just think she was ugl or something. She would have to check her apperance in a moment to make sure. She watched as he Struggling to speak to her. He must not have noticed her House Colors she was a hufflepuff after all. They were know to be gentle... unless provoked :shifty:. She smiled politley waiting for him to get everything out and was just about to introduce herself also when he took a drink again. Wow he was thirsty.

He wasted a bit of water on him from his drink and she knew he wouldnt be comfortable after that. She needed to help him. Yes that what she would do. As he told her his name she pulled out her wand and although she didnt directly point it at him it was visable for him to see while she thought of the drying spell. After about 10 long Seconds of not being able to think of it she put her wand away as if nothing happened and smiled sweetly at him. "Hello Eino. Its a pleasure to meet you. Im Brittany Lee second year Hufflepuff. what year are you in?" she asked taking back to staring at him again. He must have thought she was odd But she wasnt she just wanted to be friendly

Audrey sat on the long bench, listening to everyone speak in their amazing British accents and missing America. She looked at the eagle on her chest and grasped the Hazel Wood wand in her hand. It felt so different than her old one back in America. "If a new wand will choose me.." she thought, "Can I really make friends? Have a new beginning?"

Eino fixed his eyes on her wand, wondering what she would do, but she withdrew it shortly after. Oh, how exciting, yet another second year student. Most of his friends were all second year, in fact, he couldn't think of one that wasn't or maybe he didn't know and assume so. "Nice to meet you to." He was able to reply without stuttering this way. "I'm a second year... Ravenclaw." Well, the Ravenclaw bit might have been obvious, considering they were at the Ravenclaw table and he was wearing a robe with the Ravenclaw emblem on it. "Why are you here?" He asked curiously. Maybe there were too many Hufflepuffs and not enough Ravenclaws so the Ravenclaws would have to share their tables and dorms with the Hufflepuffs. He refilled his goblet with water and took another sip as he waited for her response, which was now clear to him, but he wanted to see if he would tell him otherwise.

ahhh Yesss He seemed more relaxed. Good Ravenclaw. He was in the right house after all. He was smart enough to recognize that she was just being friendly *Grin*. On the contray she did know plenty of seconds years that she knew last year but all she had been meeting lately was firsties. So this was refreshing to meet another fellow second year. And it was a plus he was a ravenclaw too because she had none of those in her collection for friends. why was she here? Yes why was she here :erm: " You know thats a very good question." she said a smile creeping on his lips. "But I dont think i can tell you that becuase that wouldnt be good for anyone." she said to him. That and she didnt know herself >_<. She was just simply bored

She noticed him glancing at the ceiling, looking puzzled. It looked as if there was no ceiling at all. "I've read about that too." She grinned, pointing at the sky. "It's enchanted to look like the sky outside. It's truly amazing, Hogwarts." She sighed and smiled back at him, so happy to be at this school.

She choked back a laugh, remembering what Adam had said about Kurumi calling the Potions professor 'Dragon Lady.' When she saw the look on his face, she hoped he didn't think she was making fun of him. Elyon cleared her throat. "I'm excited for all of them really, but I'm most excited for Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration. I adore animals, and can't wait to see all of the creatures of the Wizarding World as well. As for Transfiguration, I've read about how you turn objects into something else. I think that's simply amazing!" She grinned at the thought of herself turning a hat into a frog.

Winston blinked at Elyon. Why did she react that way when he said he was excited about potions? Sure, it could be dangerous, and slightly messy--okay, maybe QUITE messy. But it had its values, too. It required innate talent and required one to pay attention and ask questions...It was awesome! Elyon was missing out if she didn't like potions.

Winston tried to keep his face smooth when he heard that she was excited for Care of Magical Creatures. Animals smelled. And he was certain that the students in that class would have to clean up poo and mud. Yuck.

"Transifiguration does sound a bit exciting," Winston admitted. "Though I never quite understood the point." Really, was there a point? Why would you bother to turn a pumpkin into a stool? It was a waste of a perfectly good pumpkin, in Winston's opinion.

"Willow is a really pretty name as well!" Alice was grinning now, just happy to be making friends. It really wasn’t as hard as she thought it was going to be. "So what lessons are you guys looking forward to? Personally i can’t wait for Charms! I finally get to learn how to use this thing properly." She said as she pulled her wand from her pocket and gave it a careful wave.

Dahlia nodded excitedly. "definitely Charms! And Transfiguration. And even Potions."

She watched Alice wave the wand over the table. "Have you do any spells yet? I've been practicing a few, but I'm not very good yet."

"Erm kind of, I very nearly made a mug levitate a few days ago but then it sort of...exploded." Alice remembered the screaming fit her dad had had as the cup floated into the air about a foot and then exploded splattering coffee all over the wall and sofa...well it wasn’t really her fault. She had gotten a bit over excited when the spell worked and she was sure the stains would come out of the silk cushions. "I'm not too fond of the idea of Transfiguration though, my sister showed me once that she could turn her pet rat into a tea cup and i just felt a bit sorry for the rat. I mean no one asked it if it wanted to be a tea cup did they. I think it’s a bit cruel".

Elyon saw him frown a bit when she mentioned Care of Magical Creatures. "What's wrong? Don't you like animals?" She really didn't care whether he did or not, she just wanted to see why he didn't seem to like them. "I love animals! It's one of my passions, to help nurse the sick and wounded ones back to health. I volunteered at a muggle animal shelter back home." She shrugged and smiled remembering how she found her kitty, Chunk.

"Transfiguration could be really useful too! I guess we'll learn as we go along, won't we?" She smiled, imagining herself using all sorts of crazy magic, getting into all sorts of shananigans. She figured she and Winston were pretty different, but thought they'd still be good friends.

Robert bit late. He walked to Ravenclaw house table, and sat alone. Maybe he can met some first year mate. Bit tired because he can't sleep last night.

Elyon looked over her shoulder to see a boy about her age sit down. He looked exhausted. She turned around to face him and offered him a glass of Pumpkin Juice. "Are you alright? You look like you could use something to drink." She held out her hand, waiting for him to shake hers back. "I'm Elyon James. It's nice to meet you!"

Coraline entered the great hall shyly, she was very shy that girl, she saw Eino and Katie sitting and talking, she smiled and went over to them, Cora was one of he few that had arrived late, she was happy to be a Ravenclaw, she was very happy, but then, someone has been captured by the pogrebins?!?! "what? who? we need to save them!" she said, she hoped that they didn't mind her butting in, but she needed to help, no matter what.

For whomever. ^_____^

Grrrrrumblerumble.

Charisa frowned and glanced down at her stomach, feeling the strange and uncharacteristic urge to start talking to her belly and tell it to quiet down. She glanced around almost wildly for something nice and belly-satisfying to eat, finally settling on a brownie. She took it and ate... snarfed... it up. There, silly stomach! How could it complain after she had already eaten a full meal and a dessert?

Wiping the remaining brownie crumbs from her fingers, Charisa put her head in one hand and leaned on the table with her elbow. She was getting thirsty now. Lifting her glass of pumpkin juice, she took a short sip. Ahh. Tiredness. Hopefully no one would notice if she... shut her eyes for a bit?

Winston nearly grinned. No, he actually did grin. His first grin at Hogwarts, as he got more comfortable and forgot that he was supposed to be impressing people. Elyon was praising potions. Yay! But what she said about the professor...that was a bit off-setting. "Not nice as in...a tough teacher? Or, you know...not nice as in she eats children?" he asked Elyon in a hushed voice.

He wrinkled his nose and shook his head slowly. "I only like well-trained cats. Otherwise, they're too dirty and smelly and rambunctious," he explained in what he hoped was a reasonably diplomatic way.

"Oh yes, about transfiguration." Winston at least partially agreed with the girl about transfiguration. They would learn as they went along. He disagreed about the usefulness, but that was fine.

If such an oxymoron existed.

I can't help thinking it must hurt, suddenly being transformed into an inanimate object but of course people never seem to take the feelings of such a small animal into consideration. Though I don't really understand how magic works yet so maybe i am wrong." Finishing her sentence Alice realised she had forgotten to introduce herself and instead had just carried on her rant. Feeling slightly ashamed of her rudeness she said "Oh and I'm Alice, Alice Measom. It's very nice to meet you Selina".
