"Oh, sorry," Kurumi said shaking her head. Hogwarts was one of the safest places there was. She didn't want to frighten the poor girl with could be situations. "It's nothing. Just...wondering who some of the new professors were."

"Oh okay" Hmm, turning back to the staff table, elbow on the table, she rested her head in her hand. Since she was a first year the teacher thing didn’t seem so bad, well they were all new to her weren’t they? Though i suppose, she thought, after a year she would bond with the teachers and be worried if they weren’t here next year. But still, she got the impression Kurumi was hiding something. Quickly turning back to Kurumi she said "you know i may not be brave enough to get into Gryffindor but well i have seen my share of scary stuff. If there is something important...well you can tell me, you won’t frighten me i promise."

Kurumi sighed. "I know," she said smiling. "It's just, I am not even sure what is going on. I found some strange posters in Diagon Alley that said 'Save a Muggle, Destroy the Statue.' Then, on the Food Trolley, there was an edition of the Quibbler that was rather alarming. Clearly the writing was biased..." Kurumi leaned her elbows on the table. Something about creepy man didn't set right with her. If he was a new professor, Kurumi knew she was going to have to go to his office and talk. She wasn't sure if she was more afraid of doing that or going to Dragon Lady's classes. "Not only the brave are in Gryffindor," she smiled at Alice. "I am sure you are plenty brave, probably more than I am."

Alice smiled "I don’t know about that, you gave cookies to the slytherins! I haven’t even spoken to one yet." Her smile then changed to a frown as she thought over what Kurumi has said, "Save a muggle, Destroy the Statue" hmm well it was a clear enough instruction and yet it made no sense..."What statue? Is there such a thing as a dangerous statue? It must be dangerous or evil in some way if it needs destroying..." Alice again turned her gaze towards the staff table and towards the stranger sitting next to the Headmaster. "I think this is going to be a very interesting year."

Raven jump in the Ravenclaw table, finding who can be become friend, he is sorted in Gryffindor but making friend in other house is not bad.

"Hi, name is Revellius, Alice right" Raven says involuntary, smiling

"Yeah....a little too interesting..."Kurumi said once again returning her gaze to the Staff Table. And she thought Dragon Lady was going to be the worse of her problems. "The statue is something that prevents the non-magical world from discovering the existence of the wizarding world. At least, that's what I was told."

Alice jumped to hear someone talking to her, well at least she thought he was talking to her, there were quite a few girls called Alice in Ravenclaw. She gave him a warm smile and a little wave "Hiya, yeh my name is Alice. Erm you were talking to me weren’t you?"

Alice's frown shifted to a look of utter confusion. "But then we don’t want to destroy the statue surely, how will we be saving muggles by showing them the existence of magic? It would cause mayhem!"

"Yeah, I speak to you, I see you sorted, before my name called earlier today, I saw you talking to my friend Kurumi, I thought we, maybe --be a friend too, call me Raven that will do", Raven explain

"No, it would be putting them in their proper place," Kurumi said gravely remembering what she had read about in Hogwarts, A History. "Wizards wouldn't have to hide anymore."

"Yes but young kids kids, they read fairy tales and old stories of great wizards and sorceress, witches are allways evil with warts for some reason, and they love the idea of magic, they all believe it for some time. If they knew it was real then they would want it for themselves, they would try and probably fail. It would be far to dangerous for them surely."

Alice nodded and smiled "Yeh sure we could be friends" She said his name as she logged it into her memory "Raven, cool name".

Brielle scooted away again, noticing the sudden discomfort the boy suddenly showed. "Me too," she admitted, hearing his words. "But I think that's no wonder since I've grown up in a muggle community. Did, you also?" she asked, smiling awkwardly at him. He seemed really tense, was he really all that nervous? Then, he looked up, and seemed to become a bit startled by the ceiling. Following suit, her eyes softened by the night above her. "It's amazing isn't it?" she whispered, hoping to help loosen him--and herself--up a bit.

"Oh, and I'm Brielle, by the way," she added, but kept her hand to herself this time. She was scared that the boy might get too uncomfortable again. And besides, there was time for handshakes later.

Willow smiled. "I'm glad. It's nice to have a friend..."

Maybe she had fallen victim to the pogrebins, and possibly eaten by them, which was not good. This was a war against the creatures and they couldn't afford to lose any casualties. "Perhaps we should send her an owl. If the pogrebins are holding her hostage they will probably ask for ransom, then we can go save her." The start of school year was the next morning and Eino already had so much to do, but he couldn't turn his back on a friend, a fight against pogrebins, or the chance to actually see one.

Winston looked at the girl again. "No, I grew up with wizards," he said with a small smile. "There just is not much magic used at my house. You see, my step-mother is a Muggle." Not to mention his da was rarely home and none of the children were of age. That combination meant magic was about as rare in his house as it was in a Muggleborn's home. Nothing wrong with that, though.

Glancing once more at the ceiling, Winston nodded. "It's brilliant," he said. "I'm Winston."

Winston nodded slowly as the Gryffindor girl spoke. Yes, that seemed logical. First years having classes together. "I'm looking forward to potions," he said. "And astronomy, too." Not so much history of magic. All that...history. It sounded incredibly dull. Not necessarily difficult, since little was too difficult for Winston, but it sounded boring. He hated being bored. "What classes do you expect to like?"

"Really?" Said Willow, forgetting Nerida hadn't been speaking to her. "Oh, right. Sorry,Aimee." She turned back to a neutral position. "France is so cool. I was never there but still! I love the way they roll their tongues when they say 'R'. I'm Irish, which isn't very special. I like having the accent though. I lived in Yorkshire for the past six years. Then they disappeared. But at least there's Hogwarts!" She grinned to herself as she looked around. She realised she'd spent five minutes straight talking about herself. "...I'll shut up now."

Satine smiled at the younger girl as she obviously was nervous.."It's great to meet you Kurumi...a Gryffie..." she said as she pushed a stray bright purple bange behind her left ear. Tryin to make the girl less nervous, she decided to bring up something easy...."So what brings you venturing over to the blue wave table? How's the red end of the Great Hall?" she said glancing up and down the table and being overwhelmed with all of the blue...man was there always this many peeps at the table.

"Yeah it really is",Fee nodded,"and besides that i dont like being alone too much."Actually she didnt like it one bit.What was the point of being alone anyway? Fun was where your friends were.

Fee blushed again when Ellie grinned at her like that.Why did she had a hard time not blushing,lately?! She soo knew that grin from herself, now Hugo got a new stalker.Haha."There is nothing going on between us",the blonde shook her head,"unfortunately we are just friends.And besides i am still confused because of my ex."Not that she wasnt over Edmond, but still there was this tiny bit.And it didnt seem that Hugo liked her anyway. But then Fee started to giggle.Ellie was just soo cute.Did she really think it wasnt obvious?!"The way you look at him betrays you",the blonde winked,"but dont worry others are too blind to see."Maybe it just wad because Alex was her best friend, who knew.When the Ravvie poked her, the little Slytherin almost jumoed from her place laughing."I am sure you will figure out soon enough",she winked.Mysterious.Hehe.Jow could they not see that they were totally crazy about eachother?!

Ohhh they would practise together? That was going to be soo fun."Ahhn we would never gang up on you",the girl chuckled,"we are the innocent ones."Well, maybe they werent fully but there had to be some reason fr them being in Slyterin right?!Hehe.


"Its nice to meet you too",Fee smiled.Really, she loved meeting new people.Everyone was a potential new friends and you could never have enough of them.Friends meant fun and what would life be without fun?!

Oh he was a transfer too?!There seemed to be a lot of transfers this year.Pretty cool,the girl could bet they had many stories to tell.Hehe."Ohh you must be super excited then",she said smiling,"where did you transfer from?"Fee herself was sooo excited to be back here,she couldnt wait to go back to all of her fave places, just hanging out." I am in my second year now",the blonde told him,"finally i am not one of the youngest anymore."It was hard to believe that she had been like all those little cute firsties just last year, she felt so much more grown up now.Haha, in one month she would turn 13.That was soo cool.



"Yeah it is",Fee nodded smiling.It was soo cute how all the firsties were excited about everything.But when the blonde thought back she had been just as excited.Probably even more.And seeing how huuuge Hogwarts was it was no wonder."I could show you araound a little bit if you want to",the second year offered her new friend.You could get lost easily if you didnt know where everything was.Like the classrooms for example.

Charisa seemed really scared about the ghosts.What could Fee tell?She reall didnt want to scare the girlie."Well there are ghosts but they are nice",she explained,"dont worry about them really."Should Fee tell her about Peeves?!But that would only scare her even more.Maybe later.


Looking around Fee noticed a familiar looking boy sitting not too far awy from her.She hadnt seen Daniel for long, maybe he didnt even remember her? Well it was worth a try.Walking over to him the blonde waved."Hey Daniel",she smiled,"how have you been? You seemed to have disappeared."The girl hadnt seen him in months.

Hugo dozed off for a bit, he was very tired. Merlin's beard, when was this thing going to end? He really wanted to go back to the beautiful Ravenclaw common room. He supported his head on his hand but it didn't work, and Hugo's head almost fell in his potato salad. And then he saw his closest friend, Eino. Hugo grinned, he hadn't seen the fellow since he went to dress up in the loo of the train.

Hugo stood up and took a seat next to Eino. "Eino, my friend," he said. "How are you mate?" he asked. He had left his plate at the other spot, but Hugo wasn't hungry anymore. "Katie," he said a bit arrogantly to the girl. He hadn't had the best experiences with her or heard the best things about her from Adam, but she did do quite a lot to be nicer to people, Hugo noticed. He just hoped Eino would be another one of the thousand guys she liked. Plus, she had a boyfriend right?

Sean sat at the table minding his own business. He was in his final year here and was ready to be done. He was ready to be out in the real world and be making money.
He looked around and all the new faces. Wow, I feel old.. he thought to himself.

Dahlia picked at her food as she watched the flurry of activity surrounding her. For the first time since recieving her letter, her stomach clenched with anxiety.

I hope I make friends she thought to herself. Everyone else seemed to know each other and she momentarily listened in on the conversations happening around her.

With a sigh, she turned her thoughts to classes.

Willow looked across the table and saw a girl looking a bit bothered.
"Hi!" Said Willow. "I'm Willow. Are you happy to be in Ravenclaw?"

"Oh, hello." Eino said as he turned around and saw Hugo sitting beside him. Had he been here all this time? Honestly, Eino wasn't feeling very well, but it was nothing that a good night's sleep wouldn't fix. "I'm good." He replied as he took a goblet filled with water and took a sip. "How are you? Ready for classes tomorrow?" Eino was interrupted by the thunderous applaud of the Hufflepuffs as they were rejoined by a student newly sorted into their house. He watched as another student sat on the stool and the Sorting Hat was placed on his head. Then he realized he had been speaking to Hugo and turned his attention back to him. Hopefully he hadn't said anything because Eino wouldn't have heard it.

Alice turned from her conversation to see a girl picking at her food and looking rather down in the dumps. She shot a warm smile in her direction and a little wave, maybe that would cheer her up?

Alex laughed at her, he didn't seem like someone that went around eating people. Should he take that as a compliment. It was a weird one though... "No I don't go nomming on people." he winked. Nomming, hehe sounded funny. "Do you?" he smirked teasing her. Oh well you never knew she might.

"Yeah same. Isn't there like an announcement thingy somewhere?" Thingy.. Why did he say that? Because he didn't exactly know what he meant but still, it didn't sound very smart and smart was what he needed to be when Ellie was around.

He scraped his shoe on the ground for a while figuring out what to say. What could he say?! Whyyyy was his mind all blank when he talked to Ellie. Perhaps because she made his thoughts all blurry and his mind all dizzy... Huh, it was a head scratcher. Perhaps there was some wicked magic behind it all. Iiinteresting. "Missing the Leaky?" he grinned. There was where she had lived during the summer right? She'd told him, or perhaps she'd made his mind all blurry again. Facepalm.

"Hey Adorable!Katie." Alex laughed walking up to his friend. So they were both Slytherins at the Ravenclaw table heh, he wasn't alone. Success! "How are you? Heard you were feeling dizzy earlier?" he asked concerned.


Alex looked around the Ravenclaw table to find some of his Claw friends when he saw a boy around his age. A third year perhaps? Because man were they few third years! Or was he imagining that? Well best way to find out was to introduce himself. Plus it would be good to talk to a guy after a lot, a lot of girls. Not that he minded the girls...

"Hey," he grinned. "Mind if I take a seat?" well because otherwise he would look pretty stupid just standing there. And stupid wasn't his thing.

Brielle? Alex turned around searching her face. Aha! He smiled and walked over to her. Hopefully she still remembered him from the train. What if she didn't? Aoowkward! "Hey Brielle." he said when he walked up to her.
