Ellie turned from her conversation with Spike to see Treyen. She thought this kind of curious. It was still early into the feast, the speech hadn't even been made, and he had left his table already. But she returned his smile, anyway.

While she listened to Treyen, her face fell. And oh, so slowly, she turned to face the dias that the teacher's sat on. She hadn't even thought much about her professors since she'd gotten there, what with the whole Jacob debacle going on. Her eyes immediately found where Reyn SHOULD have been sitting, but it was indeed occupied by a woman.

WIBBLE.

Secretly, she had hoped that Reyn had been able to convince Ginger that he should continue teaching. But he wasn't there. He really wasn't there.

WIBBLE.

But, of course, his seat had just changed. Maybe. So Ellie scanned the rest of the table. So many curious things up there, yes. Vindictus, for one, didn't seem to remember which side of Tate he sat on. And the man who was in her head of house's seat was quite intimidating looking...Defense class, maybe? And...Carlton wasn't there. And neither was Kingsley, at least not yet. But there was definitely no Reyn.

"So's he really...like, really gone?" As in...he definitely wasn't here? And that awful old hag in his place was actually taking his place?

Dear Merlin, Treyen, lie to us.

He--just stood there, and now started to think how awful his decision making skills were.

Honestly.

Treyen Lockhart was, indeed, an idiot. He couldn't have enough with making Kurumi cried, he now had to make Ellie sad too? So, the boy didn't seem to be one of the brightest at the table, after all.

Her face. She'd never actually seen any hint of sadness on her face until now. And you know whose fault was it? His, and only his. He could've kept quiet, forever, but nooooooooooo, he had to come here and let her know what could be the worst news ever. He DID NOT think this through.

And when she spoke...well, let's just say his heart actually broke, because the fact that Nolan was gone was something that hadn't sink in yet, so, for him to listen to it from someone else made Hogwarts a bit emptier, truth be told, and his heart also. They'd lost someone that meant a great deal for them, and he was acknowledging it now.

"I--," but he couldn't speak, his eyes were now looking at the floor, there was no way he could face Ellie while saying this, "I think so," well, yes, there was sadness in his voice, "I'm sorry," for having to be the one telling her so.

Yep, the Triwizard Tournament. Dallin had heard about that going on here last year, and he was glad he hadn't been here for that. It probably would've freaked him out to just watch the tasks. ...Anyway.

"Nah, I don't mind," he said smiling. "I just wanted something new, mostly. And to get away from my sisters... but none of my family knows that particular reason. Seventeen-year-old twin witches can be very annoying." Well, any girl could be annoying, really; whether they were seventeen years old or witches or not.

Forget wibbles. Tears were now threatening Ellie. Ironic how she'd thought about crying just a few minutes ago, about how she wouldn't do that in public. But this was...awful. Just awful. How could Reyn do that to them?

She ran her fingers under her eyes. Tears would NOT fall. Yet.

"I'm sorry, too." For their loss. Their abandonment.

Ellie turned back to the staff table to watch the new teacher, and her brain started going on it's own again. "She's wicked." And NOT in the good way. She'd snagged the Divination spot as soon as she could, probably. Before Reyn had the chance to take it back. That teacher was MEAN.

"Wow, thats really nice of your parents to let you come here." she said with a small smile. But she couldn't believe Dallin was here just because he wanted to try something new. She couldn't imagine becoming bored with Hogwarts and wanting to leave. And she couldn't grasp the idea of wanting to get away from family, only because she was an only child and didn't know how annoying siblings could be. But if his sisters were anything like the glitter loving fools that roamed the halls of Hogwarts, then she understood his need to get away. "So, do they teach all the same classes at your old school?" she asked.

Wait a minute, wait a minute!

No! She recognized the same symptoms Kurumi had...before...she started to cry.

And this was all thanks to Treyen...AGAIN! If Ellie actually cried, then he'd made TWO girls cry on one day, and he was more than certain neither of those were happy tears, though, Kurumi's were rather odd ones, truth be told, because he had no idea what he'd done there.

But now, the one person he looked forward to seeing today was on the verge of tears because of something he'd say? No, hold on, the one person--what?! Er, yeah, that was a lie, no? Yeah, yeah. "What are you sorry for? I'm the one who should be, I almost made you cry," because she wasn't crying yet, was she? Oh, no, she was, he was just in denial.

"I--," this was Ginger's fault, actually. Treyen didn't even know what he was going to say next, oh, no, wait, he remembered! "I have no more tissues, please don't cry," he said, as he moved a bit closer, "Please, don't," because he'd freak out, and he didn't want to freak out. For real.

He had to eye the woman usurping Nolan's place and raised an eyebrow. This could be all her fault too, perhaps she even talked Ginger into making Nolan leave. "I don't trust her," he said, almost in a whisper.

"I am not crying!" Ellie lied, defensively. She wiped away more 'nonexistent' tears. Whatever.

Wait, his fault? No. "And even if I was," she sniffled, "It wouldn't be because of you. It would be that woman's fault. Or Gingers." Or both, honestly.

Ellie shook her head. That teacher didn't deserve trust. "Neither do I." She just needed to leave. Ellie folded her arms and glared at the woman. And sniffled again.

As much as Ellie tried to cheer Draven up, when she added that her father had passed it didnt help too much.

"Wow, im so sorry" he said again.

He could tell she was putting on a good face about it all so he did his best to give her a smile. He knew the kind of pain she may be feeling as well after the death of Sven two years ago.

"Yea, i lost my best friend two years ago so i kind of know what your going through. It must be tough" he said to her.

"Well, im your friend and you can talk to me about anything if you wish Ellie" he said smiling.

He listened intently as she talked about her father, he could tell she loved him very much and he sounded like a great guy and wizard.

Actually....Treyen never said she was crying, did he? No, he didn't. He said 'almost' and begged her not to do so, therefore, he never said she was already crying.

But, anyway, he frowned and eyed between the Staff table and Ellie, "Good," he said, with one firm nod.

Oh? There was a small chance that she could do so? Then he'd better leave as soon as possible, right? But, no, wait again...GRIN. Ha! It wouldn't be because of him. Which was awesome, no? Arya will be forever proud of this. So, he'd only made Kurumi cry. Perfect.

Or, well, not perfect, really, since he wasn't proud of that.

"I'd blame Ginger," he said, with a smirk, she was the one that started this all, right? Yes. His eyes went back to the table and then he extended his hand to Ellie, "Come with me," he said, eyes now on the redhead.

Ginger it is, then. Ginger was the above all evil person of the night. And the woman in Reyn's seat was a step under. But still up there. Definitely.

Ellie took Treyen's hand. "Come where?" She didn't exactly care where, though. Perhaps Treyen was leading her to some section of the table where he could sit as well? And they could talk about the evil women that they didn't know.

So she stood up. "I'll be back," she said to Spike. Maybe. Or she'd see him in the common room. But considering she hadn't eaten yet, she'd probably be back.

Treyen smirked, "You'll see," but he wasn't taking Ellie away from the Ravenclaw table for long. The little boy seating next to her shouldn't fear for her absence, really.

He let her speak to the boy as he took her hand, and then lead her away.

She'll be back soon. Promise.

And...he was no longer at the Ravenclaw table.

Katie took a seat at the Ravenclaw hoping to see Cora or one of her Ravenclaw friends, or make a new friend :D Either way would be awesome, maybe she would meet someone who liked quidditch? Oh how Katie wanted to be seeker so badly. XD

Eino practically dragged himself to the Great Hall after a long, and severely frightening, train ride. He was beginning to grow sick, which was no way to start the year, so he promised himself to keep away from the pumpkin juice for the night. He had been one of the last to arrive at the feast, and for fear of getting into trouble he quickly sprinted to the first available seat he could find. He squeezed into the seat next to a Slytherin girl, apologizing as he accidentally bumped into her a few times.

Katie smiled, new FRIEND. :x3: Wait, she has seen him before, that face, rocks, Cora, EINO! "Your Eino right? We've met before but very briefly" Cause Eino would be Cora's crush if she was forced to like someone, she had met Eino cause she had dared Cora to hug him, and he also was the boy who was catching Rocks.

Eino checked twice to make sure the girl was speaking to him, and finally he recognized her face. Then she startled him by speaking his name. He thought he had seen her before but didn't recall speaking to her, unless someone else had told her his name, which was unlikely. "Hello. Yes, I am." He hesitated to ask for the girl's name, he didn't want to be the one person who always forgot everyone's name, but the matter of fact was that he was exactly that person. So they had only met briefly? This was a relief hopefully she wouldn't be too upset then for having forgotten her name. Maybe she didn't even introduce herself when they met. He tried to find the correct words to say but he spoke the first careless thought that came to his head. "I don't know you." He said very mellowly.

Katie inside was thinking 'How could h not know my name?' but she remembered she never spoke her name, and she knew his because Cora told her, "I must be scaring you, Coraline told me your name and My names Katelyn Star" Katie said shyly, she hoped they hadn't gone off on the wrong start. >_<

Now Eino could remember when she met her. It was in Diagon Alley when Caroline had randomly hugged him while he was pogrebin hunting. "Oh, I do remember your face." Eino said extending his right hand. "I'm Eino Uronen, it's nice to meet you-- well, to finally know your name." He correct himself with a nervous smile. But now that she mentioned Caroline Eino realized he hadn't seen her in a while. He looked around the Ravenclaw table, but nothing. He did, however, spot some of his other friends. "I'm sorry. The day we met I was very busy with an extremely important task."

Katie smiled, that was good now he knew who she was ^_^ "Nice to meet yoou too" Katie said as she shook his hand, she let go and smiled, awkward... "So how are you? enjoying the feast? by the way have you seen Coraline?" Katie asked, she was probably scaring him now, with all the questions she asked.

"Not really. I am very tired and wish to retire to bed." He said very honestly. He wasn't feeling very well and it was only getting worse with each minute he spent awake. He was exhausted, so much so that he wasn't even hungry, despite the growling of his stomach. "No, I have not." Eino thought of asking her the same thing, but he was somewhat alarmed to know Caroline hadn't been seen lately. He sure hoped she was okay. "I hope she didn't die in that monstrous train." He said with the utmost concern and truth. That evil train...

"Same with me" Katie said, but she actually wanted to talk all night, but she was still very tired. :bored: Katie giggled, she couldn't help it, Eino was soo cute! "I know Cora, I don't think she would have" Katie said putting a hand on his shoulder and smiling sweetly.

She smiled at him. Remembering what she had read about Ravenclaws, her brother hadn't said much about them, she looked at his blue and bronze tie. That seemed right to her. Ravenclaws were supposed to be really smart, right? She thought he could've been really smart, though she didn't know, classes hadn't started yet. Maybe he would be in some of her classes. The more people she knew the better.

Elyon grinned when Winston said her name, breaking it down so he could pronounce it. "Yes, we'll probably have some of the same classes, both being first years and all. Ravenclaw, huh? I was almost sorted there, but I guess I'm just a lion at heart!" She shrugged. "What classes are you most interested in taking?" She hoped they would have some classes together, Winston seemed like a nice kid.

"You can go to all the classes being offered," Kurumi nodded. "I managed to make it to every lesson last term, despite Adam only attending maybe two. It was a lot of work trying to catch up with everyone, but I really enjoyed the challenge." That, and she really got to know her way around the library.

Kurumi looked up at the Staff Table and nodded her head slowly. "I-I don't know. I assume the professor will address it in his opening speech..." There were a lot of things happening recently. The strange posters and graffiti in Diagon Alley, the Quibbler on the train, and now some not-so-nice looking people at the staff table.


Kurumi turned around on her seat to face the girl who was talking to her. "Y-Y-Y-Yes, I did," she replied bowing her head and hands flying to her hair to begin the fidgeting process. It was strange how her shy switch turned on whenever older students were around and off almost as quickly when she was talking to first years. Guess she had something to look forward to as a seventh year, no more shyness. "T-T-Thank you, Satine. I'm, I'm Kurumi. Kurumi Hollingberry. I'm in Gryffindor."

Lilly-anne leaned forward and placed some vegtables on here plate, only bad thing about being vegaterian there wasn't that much choice of food at the feasts. using a knife she move one one the lasanges in front of her and realised it was mushroom result. taking her spoon she scooped some onto her plate and began to eat.

Alice turned her head to view the staff table, she had been thinking of saying hello but now...she had just assumed he was a bit of a scary teacher but now apparently he was a scary mysterious man. That sort of put her off a bit. Scary and mysterious were never a good combination. Turning her gaze back to Kurumi she noticed a slightly worried look on her face. "Are you all right?"

" Yeah, I'm gonna be an expert in Mugglestudies! " Helen said jokingly to Katelynn. She didnt find it offensive as they were friends and its probably the truth. Helen will be top of the class in Mugglestudies.
