Harley returned Aimée's smile as she noticed her first friend looking down at her robe, she did the same. She looked from her own robe to Aimée's robe and smiled. They were pretty. She wasn't really sure what having different robes had to do with being in a house though, she didn't use to wear a robe in her own house - Maybe she should've. "Yay!" It was suckish that they weren't in the same house cus that would've been fun but atleast they could still hang out together. "Yep." She gulped biting her lip. This was scary "I think im gonna get lost." Correction Harley; You will get lost. "Aimée, do you like super heros ?"...Random moment. |

Rowan laughed. "Not so weird. The only friends I made last year were Griffendors. I haven't seen them yet though," she said, giving the room a quick once over look. This was so great, she thought to herself. The first day here and she was already making new friends. |
Large eyes looked out beneath dark eyelashes their color indiscernible as a slim hand reached up to tuck a few waves of hair back away from an oval face that was devoid of any makeup. Expelling a deep sigh in an attempt to expel all her insecurities along with it, Ivory Erised shook her head slightly, her long layered hair fanning over her shoulders. Biting her lip for just a second, the one more moment she allowed herself to give in to nervousness, she then steeled her resolve and made her way to the Ravenclaw table. Now was not the time to wonder what in the world a badge was doing on her robes or to panic at it being there. That time had mostly likely passed. Now was the time to put on a genuine smile, make new friends while meeting up with old ones, and most importantly to just bask in being back. She'd panic later in private. One more deep breath just for good measure and then her light footsteps were carrying her down the table a friendly smile greeting anyone who happened to be looking as she searched for somewhere to sit. |

Fallon giggled. "Yeah. I'm sure they found some way to amuse themselves without us." She couldn't help but wonder what had happened last term. Aaron and Iris were both somewhat sketchy on everything that happened. "It was amazing! The shopping and the food were fantastic! I can't wait to go back." She really loved Italy. Maybe she would live there for a while after she graduated. Fallon nodded. "Same here. I can't believe we only have two terms left here." She didn't want to think about that, but the thought had risen in her mind. |

She kept to herself? He didn't want to pry, sometimes it was nice just being alone. "Hopefully, I've heard a lot about it." he chuckled. Quote:

"Well the subjects are the normal magical subjects." he shrugged taking a quick look at the girls, perhaps they didn't know what the average subject was? Huh. "You know, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Flying, Arthimancy, Transfiguration, Charms, Muggle studies, Ancient runes, Divination, History of Magic, Herbology... That sort of thing." That sounded like a lot and that wasn't even everything. Ugh, he was sure the homework would kill him. "There'll be a lot of first years that doesn't know anything about Hogwarts." he smiled. Of course they weren't expected to know everything their first day. |

"Yes I guess they did...every time I ask they don't say much about the year...I'm thinking there's some stories we aren't hearing..." she said with a suspicious look. "But they must've made an impression last year since they both have a badge now." she said with a little nod and tried to keep her slight jealousness out of her voice...she wasn't really jealous but kind of that had been her goal from first year but she knew she'd have to give up something when she traveled abroad but she didn't know it would be that one. Her face went blank as Fallon mentioned their years left and she let her hands fall into her lap, "Wow, I hadn't thought about that...only two years...man we better make the best of it then...We have to go out with a bang. " she said with her smile coming back. Then she had an idea...yes yes yes...,"O one thing they do in the American wizard school is when the wizards and witches are in their seventh year the classes do a seventh year prank to kind of go out with a bang and such....we should start planning now for a seventh year prank...." she said kind of quietly under her breath. |
this is my last post for now :( Quote:
Fallon nodded her head. "Same here. It really makes me wonder what was going on." So Satine had heard about as much as she did. Huh. THat was strange. Fallon looked back to where Iris was sitting. "Yeah. Must have." She knew that the badge on Iris's chest had originally been for her, but she wasn't going to talk about that right now. "I agree. Don't want to be forgotten now do we?" She listened t Satine's idea about the prank. That would be totally out of character for Fallon, but it would be fun just the same. "I'm in. It will be our seventh year so what harm is there in that?" |
I havent forgotten about you lol... sorry its taking so long Quote:

Katelynn felt a bit relieved after this piece of information. She turned to Helen with a grin. "I suppose you're gonna get top marks in Mugglestudies?" Maybe she hadn't known Helen for more then a day, but she felt that she could joke with her in that way anyway. "So," she asked Alex "Do you have a favourite subject? I mean, 2 years at Hogwarts, you must have a clue?" she asked with a smile. |
SPOILER!!: Jacob & Ellie <3 Oh Merlin, not more yelling. Why was everyone (well, okay, it was only two guys so far) yelling tonight? Granted, this was Jacob, and he yelled fairly often, whereas that Leo boy...well, she'd just met him so she didn't know if it was a common thing for him. But...what? Vashti's badge? This wasn't her badge. Was it? No, she was quite sure it wasn't. Wouldn't it have been in her letter if it was meant for her? Why did Ellie think it belonged to her? "Actually, I'm pretty sure this is Jacob's," Vashti said, turning to Ellie. "I mean, yeah, owls can get mixed up, but I got my own letter, not his." She was pretty sure she had, anyway. She'd look at it to prove it to them but it was stuff in her trunk somewhere on the train - or maybe it was in her dorm by now. She didn't know. Point was, she didn't have it on her. "But...we could always go ask Professor Vindictus if you want to make sure." Just in case there was a mix-up, though Vashti really doubted it. |

If it was a friendly smile she was looking for, she could definitely spot one on Kellen's face. It was only after he'd raised his hand in greeting that he spotted the badge on Ivory's robes, and that just made the smile even bigger, "Ivory! Sit, commiserate! How was your summer?" Here was one Ravenclaw prefect. Now he just had to locate Finlay and he'd be set. Of course, he didn't think he'd ever really met Finlay, just heard tales from Neptune, but the badge would be a direct give-away. |
Text Cut: harrypottterbroadway...sorry I missed it earlier Satine smiled as the girl said Starshine...o well she would answer to it. "It's nice to meet you Keeley...I like that name. " she said watching the girl taking the parchment and then glancing in her purple bag she pulled out a purple wooden box. "I have tons of colors of quills that you are more than welcome to use...there's even one in here..." she said as she opened it and dug through them grabbing a white one, "that will draw in whatever color you tell it to...it's my favorite...it's makes my notes in classes colorful." Satine felt embarrassed...,"O sorry I thought you were younger than that...well that'll be a compliment as you get older because you'll always look younger than you are so." she said with a wink. "And yes we are by far the best looking group of students in the Great Heall." she said doing a little pose as she sat there waiting for the food to get there. "So, Keeley where are you from?" she said deciding to start up a real convo with the girl. Text Cut: GrapeyGrapers McGrapperstien...haha...okey see you later then..."} [QUOTE=GrapehGrape;10075358 Satine shook her head, "Yes I thought it was odd also. But some schools just don't even really acknowledge them. They still view them a lot like the Death Eaters from the history books did. It's kind of disturbing. At one school my host family told me not to mention that my dad was a muggle...and boy was I happy they gave me that advice." she said shaking her head in a left and right motion. Her face lit up when Fallon mentioned the girly stuff, "O I loved it. They encouraged us to be different and we could decorate our house robes and everyone wore heels and jewelery galore and...welll...it was a dream come true for me...I just loved it...and I got lots of heels as going away presents..." she said with a smile and held up her blue pair that she had on now. She shook her head at Fallon and could tell that she thought there was more there and that maybe she wasn't the only one that had dreams of wearing a badge as well. She smiled at Fallon with an I know how you feel look. "O yes Seventh Year prank...I'm going to start thinking about this hard...maybe there's some ideas in the yearbooks from the past few years..." she said thinking about the library...her fave place in the school..."Well, maybe we could put together three or four pranks for our last year...and we now have a whole year to plan them...yes yes yes..." she said shaking her head up and down. |
And for Brigette if she wants to <33 Quote:
And she was right to have found him at the Ravenclaw end, he was with the female prefect by the looks of it. The badge was hard to miss on his uniform and the seventeen year old approached him with a smile. "Thought I'd come introduce myself, we'll probably be working a lot with each other this term" she smiled softly, trying not to let her current mood bring her down. "Well I'm Trixie. Trixie Malfoy, Head Girl obviously" she glanced down at her own badge and then back up. She glanced across at the prefect and smiled at her too. |

She shrugged and waved her hand towards the Slytherin table. "Well, only have of that was true. Most of them are really nice and friendly. In fact my main circle of friends consists of all Snakes. Not much to worry about." She said smiling. "And no problem. Everyone needs friends." "You think it's interesting?" And hadn't even heard the most exciting part. Hmm. "Thanks" she said. Ellie nodded. "Yep, grew up with magic in the house. Well, only by my dad. My mum wasn't a huge fan of the idea of everything being done by something she can't control. She prefers her muggle ways. I think she secretly hoped my brother and I wouldn't get our Hogwarts letters." she said with a half-hearted laugh. Crazy woman, she was. Quote:
She tapped her chin thoughfully. "Hmm, about myself... Well, I'm from Ireland, grew up there my whole life. Mum is a muggle, my dad was a wizard. I have one brother who is also a wizard but one would never know. He works in Scotland for some muggle clothing company. My mum likes him best." And she didn't have a hard time admitting it either. Ellie waved her hand. Anyway, for a couple years now I've been staying at the Leaky Cauldron for a few weeks before school begins again. My mum and I don't really see eye to eye so it's best for the both us to take small doses of each other." she laughed half-heartedly. "That's about it..." She said. Well there was more, yes. But she didn't want to overwhelm him with all of it at once. Quote:
Hmm, Hugo Doyle. Didn't ring a bell, but Detective Ellie Johansen would definitely keep an eye out on the boy. *snicker* She grinned at Fee. "Sooo? What's going on between you two, huh?" Sigh, sometimes she could be such a girl. Wait whaat? "What do you mean you knew the whole time? You... could you see it?" Darn. She tried so hard to be incognito with the whole I-like-Alex thing. Hm, she failed. She laughed when Fee winked. Future, what?! "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked with a laugh, poking her. She smiled with a nod. "Sounds great! Though I don't think I like the thought of you two Slytherins ganging up on me in the quidditch pitch." she said jokingly. Pff, she'd sooo kick 'em to the ground. Quote:
His joke made heat rush up to her cheeks. Or was he joking? Hmm, she decided he was serious. *insert internal smile here* "Well aren't you the sweet talker now?" She joked, poking him in the chest. Or was she joking? Quote:

...And she looooved to learn! :D Quote:
Ugh... she hoped that didn't sound too nerdy... :P |
Selina was beaming. She was finally an official student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And she was part of the lions, just like the rest of her family. As she made her way back to her table she spotted Hugo sitting at the Ravenclaw table. They had talked briefly and gotten on quite well. Making her way for the table she yelled out to him, "Hey, how are you band mate? Ukulele skills ready?" |

At the mention of classes and school subjects, Charisa's excitement level went up and up. She nodded with enthusiasm at Natasha's words. "Charms sounds like fun, but I'm really looking forward to Care of Magical Creatures," she said. "I've read a lot about magical creatures, especially over this past summer. It's all very fascinating!" Mmmmmhm, it was nice to have a fellow first year in her house that was excited for classes. Really, the work was important, but Charisa was sure they'd have great fun too. And hopefully, she and Natasha would see a lot of each other at class. "You know, I'm also excited for the Quidditch!" she added. "Never been to a Quidditch game before. Actually, never been on a broom at all by myself. Flying lessons'll be a disaster for me." She laughed. |
NERIDA???? Luna-Midnight??? Willow sat down at the Ravenclaw table, still in awe of it all. She had expected Hogwarts to be one of them stylish posh-nosh fancy pancy snob-schools. It SO wasn't. It was better than anything she could have imagined. She looked around searching for someone she knew. She wondered if that girl Nerida was here... |

Satine paused from talking with her friends when she heard a new familiar voice. She leaned back in her chair almost falling out of it trying to follow the voice. Finally she saw Dal's head. She leaned back forward and waved down towards him to just say hello. She hoped his first feast would be great. She winked at him when she saw that he was surrounded by girls and left him to his conversations with a little wink and giggle. She figured he'd catch up with her later on. |

"Phew. Indeed. Ida made it look cool, anyway," she laughed as her face returned to its normal pale demeanor. She'd never sat at the wrong table, but, for some reason, was always afraid of it. Hmm. Anyway. "Well, Miss Arabella-Marie, tell me a little about yourself," she prompted. The more she knew, the more she knew. And she liked to know. Oh yes. Yes, she did. |

Oh yeah... magic. "I don't zink I will get lost," Aimée giggled, tugging at the ends of her plaits. "I know I will!" This place was so much bigger than Beauxbatons, she was almost glad she wasn't one of the tiny first years running around - although being a completely new Fourth year wasn't much better. Super heros? Aimée laughed at the randomness of Harley's question. "I don't suppose I've ever really thought about it," she mused, smiling to herself. "But... well, yes, I s'pose I do." |

"Fourth year," he answered, putting his other elbow on the table. "I'm a transfer, though, so it's my first year here." He looked at her for a second, trying to guess what year she was in, but gave up. He really couldn't tell. "You?" Quote:
He looked back over at the Slytherin table. He could see other colors blended in with the green, and smiles and stuff, so the students in that house must be nice, too. "I need to meet some Slytherins," he said outloud and with a determined nod. "Well, it's not boring," He told her, shrugging one shoulder. His life was boring; he liked hearing about other peoples' lives. Even if that made him sound weird. o_O Dal nodded; he understood what that was like. The whole wanting to do things the muggle-way thing. "That's how both of my parents are. When my sisters turned seventeen and could start using magic... they weren't very happy." He frowned. His parents were those kind of people who didn't like what they didn't understand. Although usually they were pretty cool about having children with magical abilities, as long as those abilities weren't used very much at home. Quote:
