Smiling at Harley, Aimée glanced at the other girls robes and nodded as she sounded the word out. So Harley was in the 'green house', eh? Aimée was slightly saddened by the fact that her first friend was not in the same house as she was, but she shook that feeling away and kept the smile on her face. "Yes, I am in Ravenclaw," she agreed, looking down at her own robes and then looking back up as she gestured towards the table she was sat on the end of.
"'Ave you seen the size of zis place, 'Arley?" she asked, a little suddenly, looking up at the magnificent enchanted ceiling. "I can't imagine 'ow I am ever going to be able to find my way around eet!"
Foood. Yeeey. There was soooo much food, and and the bowls were like...refilling themselves. Wow. Harley wished the bowls at home refilled themself, especially when she was all out of ice cream because ice cream was mega yummy and creamy and awesome. The fourth year trailed off a bit before remembering that she was talking to someone;; and an awesome someone at that.
Harley returned Aimée's smile as she noticed her first friend looking down at her robe, she did the same. She looked from her own robe to Aimée's robe and smiled. They were pretty. She wasn't really sure what having different robes had to do with being in a house though, she didn't use to wear a robe in her own house - Maybe she should've. "Yay!" It was suckish that they weren't in the same house cus that would've been fun but atleast they could still hang out together.
"Yep." She gulped biting her lip. This was scary "I think im gonna get lost." Correction Harley; You will get lost. "Aimée, do you like super heros ?"...Random moment.

"Me too," Rowan said with a grin. "I was so nervous last year and too shy to make many friends."
Brittany laughed because that's exactly how she felt last year. "I know what you mean. And then the firends i did make all of them where either in My house or Sytherin." she said with a nod of her head as if that would confirm she was telling the truth. "So your really like the first Ravenclaw I actually talked to... weird huh?" she asked the girl

"So your really like the first Ravenclaw I actually talked to... weird huh?" she asked the girl
Rowan laughed. "Not so weird. The only friends I made last year were Griffendors. I haven't seen them yet though," she said, giving the room a quick once over look. This was so great, she thought to herself. The first day here and she was already making new friends.
Large eyes looked out beneath dark eyelashes their color indiscernible as a slim hand reached up to tuck a few waves of hair back away from an oval face that was devoid of any makeup. Expelling a deep sigh in an attempt to expel all her insecurities along with it, Ivory Erised shook her head slightly, her long layered hair fanning over her shoulders.
Biting her lip for just a second, the one more moment she allowed herself to give in to nervousness, she then steeled her resolve and made her way to the Ravenclaw table.
Now was not the time to wonder what in the world a badge was doing on her robes or to panic at it being there. That time had mostly likely passed. Now was the time to put on a genuine smile, make new friends while meeting up with old ones, and most importantly to just bask in being back. She'd panic later in private.
One more deep breath just for good measure and then her light footsteps were carrying her down the table a friendly smile greeting anyone who happened to be looking as she searched for somewhere to sit.
Satine waited for Fallon to sit down and then answered, "Well I spent six weeks at six different schools...one in Antartica, one in America, one in South America, one in Australia, of course, Beuxbaton, and one in Africa. It was an adventure, but it also made me more thankful to be back at Hogwarts. We are very lucky." she said as she glanced around and took in everything. she was very happy to be back...everything from the candles floating to the paintings to the ghosts to just the smell of Hogwarts was just...well just perfect.
"I didn't know you were gone as well...man Iris and Aaron must've been bored without both of us...I mean we are the life of the party..." she said with a little giggle and wink. "Wow, that sounds like an adventure. Wasn't Italy just beautimous? My friend, Yessilla from Beax took me one weekend. I just loved that atmosphere." she said with a smile staring off into nothing remembering the sights and sounds.
"I bet you are as happy to be back as I am...this is almost like more home than my home is." she said reaching for another drink.
Fallon listened as Satine rattled off a rather long lists of school's. "So you were pretty much everywhere?" She giggled at her own question. "Which school was your favorite?" She had to wonder seeing as half of those places were places she'd wanted to visit. Fallon nodded. She loved Hogwarts so much. Nothing could ever compare.
Fallon giggled. "Yeah. I'm sure they found some way to amuse themselves without us." She couldn't help but wonder what had happened last term. Aaron and Iris were both somewhat sketchy on everything that happened. "It was amazing! The shopping and the food were fantastic! I can't wait to go back." She really loved Italy. Maybe she would live there for a while after she graduated.
Fallon nodded. "Same here. I can't believe we only have two terms left here." She didn't want to think about that, but the thought had risen in her mind.

She kept to herself? He didn't want to pry, sometimes it was nice just being alone. "Hopefully, I've heard a lot about it." he chuckled.

"Well the subjects are the normal magical subjects." he shrugged taking a quick look at the girls, perhaps they didn't know what the average subject was? Huh. "You know, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Flying, Arthimancy, Transfiguration, Charms, Muggle studies, Ancient runes, Divination, History of Magic, Herbology... That sort of thing." Satine put down her drink and faced back towards Fallon, "Well Hogwarts is the best by far...I mean we are leaps and bounds ahead of the other schools when it comes to our classes...some of the schools have adopted more Muggle like curriculums or just focus on the Dark Arts or just push anything Muggle out...it was weird..." she said cocking her right eyebrow as she talked, "But out of those I'd have to say it would be a tie between the Australia school and Beaux. Australia was just beautimous and the peeps there were very different but fun and Beaux helped build self confidence and poise...it was like being taught to be a princess." she said as she crossed her legs and waved like a beauty pageant queen with a little giggle.
"Yes I guess they did...every time I ask they don't say much about the year...I'm thinking there's some stories we aren't hearing..." she said with a suspicious look. "But they must've made an impression last year since they both have a badge now." she said with a little nod and tried to keep her slight jealousness out of her voice...she wasn't really jealous but kind of that had been her goal from first year but she knew she'd have to give up something when she traveled abroad but she didn't know it would be that one.
Her face went blank as Fallon mentioned their years left and she let her hands fall into her lap, "Wow, I hadn't thought about that...only two years...man we better make the best of it then...We have to go out with a bang. " she said with her smile coming back. Then she had an idea...yes yes yes...,"O one thing they do in the American wizard school is when the wizards and witches are in their seventh year the classes do a seventh year prank to kind of go out with a bang and such....we should start planning now for a seventh year prank...." she said kind of quietly under her breath.

Fallon nodded her head. She didn't expect anything else. Nowhere could ever be better than Hogwarts. And she didn't find herself biased at all. "What kind of school doesn't want us to learn about Muggles?" Fallon loved Muggle Studies and didn't know what she would do without it. She nodded her head. "I've always wanted to go to Australia." Then again, she'd wanted to go many places. Fallon giggled as Satine pretended to be a beauty queen. "I don't think I could handle that." She may wear heels and such but she could never act like a princess.
Fallon nodded her head. "Same here. It really makes me wonder what was going on." So Satine had heard about as much as she did. Huh. THat was strange. Fallon looked back to where Iris was sitting. "Yeah. Must have." She knew that the badge on Iris's chest had originally been for her, but she wasn't going to talk about that right now.
"I agree. Don't want to be forgotten now do we?" She listened t Satine's idea about the prank. That would be totally out of character for Fallon, but it would be fun just the same. "I'm in. It will be our seventh year so what harm is there in that?"
I havent forgotten about you lol... sorry its taking so long

She turned to Helen with a grin. "I suppose you're gonna get top marks in Mugglestudies?"
Maybe she hadn't known Helen for more then a day, but she felt that she could joke with her in that way anyway.
"So," she asked Alex "Do you have a favourite subject? I mean, 2 years at Hogwarts, you must have a clue?" she asked with a smile.

She obviously didn't think Jacob a very responsible or capable person.
And the Jacob plopped onto the ground. Heh. But it was confusing Ellie more and more. Did he not understand what happened? She thought she'd figured it out pretty well.
"What happened," she began, crossing her arms again. No, she wasn't going to sit. She was taller than the both of them this way. "Was that Vashti's badge ended up in your envelope." Simple enough. "Who cares why? Owls get mixed up all the time. Simple mistake."
So NOW, let's try again, "Congratulations Vashti. You'll be great." BEAM.
Oh Merlin, not more yelling. Why was everyone (well, okay, it was only two guys so far) yelling tonight? Granted, this was Jacob, and he yelled fairly often, whereas that Leo boy...well, she'd just met him so she didn't know if it was a common thing for him.
But...what? Vashti's badge? This wasn't her badge. Was it? No, she was quite sure it wasn't. Wouldn't it have been in her letter if it was meant for her? Why did Ellie think it belonged to her?
"Actually, I'm pretty sure this is Jacob's," Vashti said, turning to Ellie. "I mean, yeah, owls can get mixed up, but I got my own letter, not his." She was pretty sure she had, anyway. She'd look at it to prove it to them but it was stuff in her trunk somewhere on the train - or maybe it was in her dorm by now. She didn't know. Point was, she didn't have it on her. "But...we could always go ask Professor Vindictus if you want to make sure." Just in case there was a mix-up, though Vashti really doubted it.

If it was a friendly smile she was looking for, she could definitely spot one on Kellen's face. It was only after he'd raised his hand in greeting that he spotted the badge on Ivory's robes, and that just made the smile even bigger, "Ivory! Sit, commiserate! How was your summer?"
Here was one Ravenclaw prefect. Now he just had to locate Finlay and he'd be set. Of course, he didn't think he'd ever really met Finlay, just heard tales from Neptune, but the badge would be a direct give-away.

Twirling her short, brown hair, Keeley laughed. Her? A firstie? Teehee, so much for being 'all growed up.' Goodnaturedly, she replied, "Ehm, actually, I'm in fifth year." Hm, maybe babyfaces are good when you're and old person. "But thanks for the warm welcome. And I have to agree, we are the best looking."
Satine smiled as the girl said Starshine...o well she would answer to it. "It's nice to meet you Keeley...I like that name. " she said watching the girl taking the parchment and then glancing in her purple bag she pulled out a purple wooden box. "I have tons of colors of quills that you are more than welcome to use...there's even one in here..." she said as she opened it and dug through them grabbing a white one, "that will draw in whatever color you tell it to...it's my favorite...it's makes my notes in classes colorful."
Satine felt embarrassed...,"O sorry I thought you were younger than that...well that'll be a compliment as you get older because you'll always look younger than you are so." she said with a wink. "And yes we are by far the best looking group of students in the Great Heall." she said doing a little pose as she sat there waiting for the food to get there.
"So, Keeley where are you from?" she said deciding to start up a real convo with the girl.

Satine shook her head, "Yes I thought it was odd also. But some schools just don't even really acknowledge them. They still view them a lot like the Death Eaters from the history books did. It's kind of disturbing. At one school my host family told me not to mention that my dad was a muggle...and boy was I happy they gave me that advice." she said shaking her head in a left and right motion.
Her face lit up when Fallon mentioned the girly stuff, "O I loved it. They encouraged us to be different and we could decorate our house robes and everyone wore heels and jewelery galore and...welll...it was a dream come true for me...I just loved it...and I got lots of heels as going away presents..." she said with a smile and held up her blue pair that she had on now.
She shook her head at Fallon and could tell that she thought there was more there and that maybe she wasn't the only one that had dreams of wearing a badge as well. She smiled at Fallon with an I know how you feel look.
"O yes Seventh Year prank...I'm going to start thinking about this hard...maybe there's some ideas in the yearbooks from the past few years..." she said thinking about the library...her fave place in the school..."Well, maybe we could put together three or four pranks for our last year...and we now have a whole year to plan them...yes yes yes..." she said shaking her head up and down.

Trixie, after finally managing to escape from the tons of first years and new students that were completely filling up the Slytherin table, headed over to the Ravenclaw table for two reasons, number one her close friend Vashti was over here, but she looked like she was deep in conversation with someone else, and reason number two, because she was searching for the person whom would become her partner (in crime) this term. The Head Boy.
And she was right to have found him at the Ravenclaw end, he was with the female prefect by the looks of it. The badge was hard to miss on his uniform and the seventeen year old approached him with a smile. "Thought I'd come introduce myself, we'll probably be working a lot with each other this term" she smiled softly, trying not to let her current mood bring her down. "Well I'm Trixie. Trixie Malfoy, Head Girl obviously" she glanced down at her own badge and then back up.
She glanced across at the prefect and smiled at her too.

Dal couldn't help but follow her gaze toward the Slytherin table. Had he met any of them? ...He couldn't remember. He mostly remembered meeting Ravenclaws. "All I know about Slytherin is that their mascot was a snake." And although he was sure that the people weren't as bad as their symbol thingy, it didn't make him feel very good about them.
Hm. He made it a goal to meet some Slytherins and decide if they were as freaky as their serpenty mascot. "And thanks," he added, smiling again when Ellie told him she was his friend. He had already kind of assumed that... but it was great to be told for sure.
Dal put an elbow up on the table, his chin in his hand as he listened to Ellie. He played absentmindedly with a loose thread on his shirt as she talked, a frown line furrowing between his eyebrows. He looked up at her when her tone changed, and his frown left his face. He raised an eyebrow at her sudden change of mood, then chuckled. "Hey, I think it's interesting," he said with a one-shouldered shrug.
"So you've known about magic your whole life?" Okay, yeah, dumb question. Meh. When was the food coming?
Ellie raised her eyebrows. "Wow, four sisters? That must be er... fun?" She only had one brother, so she didn't know what it'd be like to be surrounded by girls all the time.
She shrugged and waved her hand towards the Slytherin table. "Well, only have of that was true. Most of them are really nice and friendly. In fact my main circle of friends consists of all Snakes. Not much to worry about." She said smiling. "And no problem. Everyone needs friends."
"You think it's interesting?" And hadn't even heard the most exciting part. Hmm. "Thanks" she said.
Ellie nodded. "Yep, grew up with magic in the house. Well, only by my dad. My mum wasn't a huge fan of the idea of everything being done by something she can't control. She prefers her muggle ways. I think she secretly hoped my brother and I wouldn't get our Hogwarts letters." she said with a half-hearted laugh. Crazy woman, she was.

"Yea.....i can be pretty straight forward about things. Tends to get me in trouble sometimes. But i hope i didnt overstep my bounds Ellie, i meant no disrespect to you. I was just merely curious" he said thinking about some of the trouble he had gotten into over the summer.
"So Ellie? tell me a little about yourself. I dont know much about you, where you from? What is your family like?" he said with great interest trying to change the subject in case she felt awkward about the talk of Alex.
Gasp, the little punk just called her a brute! She laughed and dramatically dropped her jaw. "Hey, I'll remember that one! Nah, you didn't overstep at all, I was just... er, flustered a bit. No offence or disrespect taken." She said smiling. She knew he was just playing around.
She tapped her chin thoughfully. "Hmm, about myself... Well, I'm from Ireland, grew up there my whole life. Mum is a muggle, my dad was a wizard. I have one brother who is also a wizard but one would never know. He works in Scotland for some muggle clothing company. My mum likes him best." And she didn't have a hard time admitting it either. Ellie waved her hand.
Anyway, for a couple years now I've been staying at the Leaky Cauldron for a few weeks before school begins again. My mum and I don't really see eye to eye so it's best for the both us to take small doses of each other." she laughed half-heartedly. "That's about it..." She said. Well there was more, yes. But she didn't want to overwhelm him with all of it at once.

She smiled with a nod. "Sounds great! Though I don't think I like the thought of you two Slytherins ganging up on me in the quidditch pitch." she said jokingly. Pff, she'd sooo kick 'em to the ground.

"If it meant spending time with you then yes it's a bummer." he wiggled his eyebrows at her. It was a joke, but perhaps it wasn't. He wanted to spend more time with her in a way. In a friendly way of course. Of coourse.
Ellie smiled. Sighh, there were in different houses. No Common Room time (booo), but hopefully they'd have double potions with each other or something. And there was always free time and weekends, right? "So, Mr. Reed. You're finally here at Hogwarts. You fitting in nicely?" She asked him. Hopefully he was.
His joke made heat rush up to her cheeks. Or was he joking? Hmm, she decided he was serious. *insert internal smile here* "Well aren't you the sweet talker now?" She joked, poking him in the chest. Or was she joking? Never.

Pushing back a bit of her boyishly short hair, the girl pulled out one of her muggle markers. Of course, she had to use the quills during class, but these just seemed so much more practical. Almost without realising she was doing it, Keeley began to doodle on her hands. Meh, it was a habit of boredom.
Chatting away with her friends, she noticed someone drawing on her hands out of the corner of her eye. Ellie looked over and saw a girl with a cute short haircut using a muggle marker to decorate herself. She frowned. The girl kind of looked upset. "Having fun there?" she asked with a smile.
Alice nodded as she took a sip of water. "Yeah i know what you mean, my dad being a muggle wanted me and my sisters to have to most normal life possible, well until we got to Hogwarts anyway. So apart from my sisters showing off spells at home and my mum using magic for cooking and stuff, Hogwarts is my first taste of the magic world”. She thought back to her old normal life and her anxious journey to school. "It is a pretty big scary change. Although i imagine it is even worse for you, you have a whole new country to get used to as well! How do you like England?"
"I love it, so far." said Natasha. "I've been living in London since the summer. It's amazing. It's so different from Spain. There's so much to learn here."
...And she looooved to learn!

"Coming here to perfect your English was a great idea! After going to Durmstrang, my brother went to Muggle university in Italy, and it took him a couple semesters just to learn the language," Charisa said. "You'll be on a roll at the end of the year!"
She smiled sympathetically at Natasha. She missed Ukraine sometimes too. But really, she liked it in England a whole lot better. "No, I don't speak Ukrainian," Charisa admitted. "I spoke Russian when I lived there. But I guess I could speak it a little." If she tried. Real hard.
Charisa leaned her forward on her elbows. She was really starting to get used to the Great Hall. "So, how are you liking it here? I'm excited for classes to start."
"I love it here!" said Natasha excitedly, "It's so different, the people are so different than the people in Spain. In a good way of course." she said with a grin. "And I can't wait for classes to start! I read about all of the subjects already. I think I'm looking forward to Charms the most. What about you?"
Selina was beaming. She was finally an official student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And she was part of the lions, just like the rest of her family.
As she made her way back to her table she spotted Hugo sitting at the Ravenclaw table. They had talked briefly and gotten on quite well. Making her way for the table she yelled out to him, "Hey, how are you band mate? Ukulele skills ready?"

Ugh... she hoped that didn't sound too nerdy...
Charisa smiled broadly. "That's great!" she said. "And I'm sure that the people in Spain are lovely too," She laughed lightly.
At the mention of classes and school subjects, Charisa's excitement level went up and up. She nodded with enthusiasm at Natasha's words. "Charms sounds like fun, but I'm really looking forward to Care of Magical Creatures," she said. "I've read a lot about magical creatures, especially over this past summer. It's all very fascinating!"
Mmmmmhm, it was nice to have a fellow first year in her house that was excited for classes. Really, the work was important, but Charisa was sure they'd have great fun too. And hopefully, she and Natasha would see a lot of each other at class.
"You know, I'm also excited for the Quidditch!" she added. "Never been to a Quidditch game before. Actually, never been on a broom at all by myself. Flying lessons'll be a disaster for me." She laughed.
Willow sat down at the Ravenclaw table, still in awe of it all. She had expected Hogwarts to be one of them stylish posh-nosh fancy pancy snob-schools. It SO wasn't. It was better than anything she could have imagined. She looked around searching for someone she knew. She wondered if that girl Nerida was here...
"Four sisters," Dallin corrected, his eyes widening to put emphasis on the horror of the statement. "Four older sisters." Bleck. "But only two of them are witches," he added, his voice more natural and less horrorstruck.
Satine paused from talking with her friends when she heard a new familiar voice. She leaned back in her chair almost falling out of it trying to follow the voice. Finally she saw Dal's head. She leaned back forward and waved down towards him to just say hello. She hoped his first feast would be great. She winked at him when she saw that he was surrounded by girls and left him to his conversations with a little wink and giggle. She figured he'd catch up with her later on.

"Phew. Indeed. Ida made it look cool, anyway," she laughed as her face returned to its normal pale demeanor. She'd never sat at the wrong table, but, for some reason, was always afraid of it. Hmm.
Anyway.
"Well, Miss Arabella-Marie, tell me a little about yourself," she prompted. The more she knew, the more she knew. And she liked to know.
Foood.
So they weren't in the same house - that didn't mean that they couldn't hang out still, did it? Aimée mentally vowed that she would be spending as much time out of Ravenclaw-y places in order to be able to spend more time with Harley. It would be stupid just to have friends in the same house as her anyways, she decided, so it was a plus that one of the most awesome people she knew wasn't in her house. She grinned at Harley, and then glanced up at the ceiling again. Wooah, how did it get like that?
Oh yeah... magic.
"I don't zink I will get lost," Aimée giggled, tugging at the ends of her plaits. "I know I will!" This place was so much bigger than Beauxbatons, she was almost glad she wasn't one of the tiny first years running around - although being a completely new Fourth year wasn't much better.
Super heros? Aimée laughed at the randomness of Harley's question. "I don't suppose I've ever really thought about it," she mused, smiling to herself. "But... well, yes, I s'pose I do."

Smiking widely at the boy she sat down next to him."Nice to meet you Dallin",she said,"i am Feenella."He seemed to have quite the unique name just like her, that was pretty cool. Finally someone else with a name that Fee hadnt heard before."What year are you in?",she asked friendly. He looked a little older than her.Maybe third or fourth year?!
Dallin nodded, half-smiling at her introduction. There sure were a lot of people with unique names here. It was cool though; cool names were awesome. "Nice to meet ya," he said, turning slightly toward her as she asked another question.
"Fourth year," he answered, putting his other elbow on the table. "I'm a transfer, though, so it's my first year here." He looked at her for a second, trying to guess what year she was in, but gave up. He really couldn't tell. "You?"

He laughed at her response, wondering if she thought it'd be fun if she had four sisters. Maybe girls were different, and they'd like that. "I guess that depends on what your definition of 'fun' is." He told her, his voice serious. He could remember being a little boy, and having to play with dolls and play dress up to even be included in their play time. No. Not fun at all. It was times like those when he wished he had a brother.
Or a dad that cared about spending time with him.
He looked back over at the Slytherin table. He could see other colors blended in with the green, and smiles and stuff, so the students in that house must be nice, too. "I need to meet some Slytherins," he said outloud and with a determined nod.
"Well, it's not boring," He told her, shrugging one shoulder. His life was boring; he liked hearing about other peoples' lives. Even if that made him sound weird. o_O
Dal nodded; he understood what that was like. The whole wanting to do things the muggle-way thing. "That's how both of my parents are. When my sisters turned seventeen and could start using magic... they weren't very happy." He frowned. His parents were those kind of people who didn't like what they didn't understand. Although usually they were pretty cool about having children with magical abilities, as long as those abilities weren't used very much at home.

Hey, he couldn't help it if girl's were drawn to him. () He waved back at her and smiled before she looked away.
"Yeah, I couldn't do that either." Rowan twirled her hair trying to think of something new to ask her friend. "So, did you bring an animal with you?" Okay, so it was a lame question but oh well.
smiling at her she said "I brought two actually my balck and white shorthair Felidea and my elf owl Tytoni i've had them since i started my first year, how about you?" she asked her new friend happily

"Yeah its always hected finding people inbetween the train ride and the feast. But you know your allowed to go to their house table.' she added. seeing how she was not at her own house table.
"I know," Rowan replied, "but I can catch up with friends later. I like meeting new people."
