Alice nodded as she took a sip of water. "Yeah i know what you mean, my dad being a muggle wanted me and my sisters to have to most normal life possible, well until we got to Hogwarts anyway. So apart from my sisters showing off spells at home and my mum using magic for cooking and stuff, Hogwarts is my first taste of the magic world”. She thought back to her old normal life and her anxious journey to school. "It is a pretty big scary change. Although i imagine it is even worse for you, you have a whole new country to get used to as well! How do you like England?"

"Not much. I know that our head of house is an old Quidditch player, though. But that's about all I know for sure about the staff and the lessons.."
Katelynn got a bit nervous - wasn't she supposed to know at least just a bit about Hogwarts?

"Yes, she is certainly the nicest I've met so far." Rowan offered her hand to the girl. "I'm Rowan," she said. "Nice to meet you."

" Nope, I'm muggleborn so I dont really know anything about magic or the subjects that are taught here. Maybe you can tell us what the subjects are like! " Helen said to Alex, wondering what the subjects are going to be like.

Margery looked around, she only knew Satine, she hjad already said hi to her, but she was determined to mingle a bit. She spotted the girl talking to a slytherin sitting on the otherside of her, this was her chance to make some friends! She shyly turned to them. "Hi, I'm Margery Gellantara, I'm a first year, and i was lookin' to make some friends... Mind if i talk with you?" Margery blushed and looked at her brand new perfectly pollished shoes. Making friends wasn't her strong suit.

"no umm.... i han't really spoke to hannah since he died we never became close anyway there was always.... well dad ... umm mum's torn apart we've had my grandparents move in with us they're looking after her" she said sighing think about her poor mum, she had tried to convince her mum that she should stay with her but her mum had convinced her to come to school. "we're getting through i guesse" she smiled she had moarned for a year it was time to let go try and get back to normal

Brittany walked over to the Ravenclaw table Nervous But determined. Somehow throughout the course last year she only seemed to Befriend Huffies and snakes. She decided over the summer she would "Broaden Her horizen"... whatever that means .

She sat down at the table feeling so out of place because she knew her Huffie colors were standing out extremely good right now. Gryffindors were suppose to be smart right? Maybe one would be Smart enough to start up a conversation with her *smirk*

She was turning into a wimp. She'd never been scared of talking to people, like ever and now she suddenly was. She'd never really been in a room this full, apart from at parties and they were easy because her mum introduced her to everyone then. But she'd have loads of time to get to know people, right ? She was gonna be sharing a room with a lot of people, like...like ROOM MATES. That was gonna be super!duper fun. Yey.

Okay, now she was excited. More excited than before..if that was possible.

Harley stood, a huuuge smile on her face behind Aimée, rocking backwards and forward on her feet. Her smile turned into a sort of 'Im totally innocent' as she saw Aimee jump slightly, who wouldnt if a stranger came up behind them. "Yey!" she exclaimed as Aimée said she could sit down. She popped herself down on the seat next to Aimée, turning to face the girl. "Sly-ther-in." She said sounding out the word. "I'm guuessing your in Ravenclaw ?" it'd be kinda embarresing if she wasnt

Margery turned from the girl she had just introduced herself to, for Rowan, who had been sitting on the other side had talked. She was excited, but able to control herself. She loved making new friends! "Hi Rowan, I'm Margery, Margery Gellantara. It's very nice to meet you as well!" Margery stuttered on the words a bit, but managed to get them out. She was practically bouncing out of her seat with first day jitters. and the food!! she had never seen so much! and it just kept manifesting itself everywhere! She was in absolute ecstasy.

"I'm sorry things are so tough. It must help being here for awhile. Must help take your mind off of things....at least for a little while."

Rowan couldn't help but laugh at the very bouncy girl's excitement. "Is this your first year here?" she asked Margery.

"yeah it is... i guesse i can finallym get back to my normal self" she smiled at Rowan she looked down at her converse clad feet for a second "anyway enough of the life stories" she grinned or attempted to "whathow was last year for you i mean im sure ya couldn't have know about this world before you got ya le'er."

"How could you tell? I'm so excited and so nervous i just can't help myself from shaking" Margery laughed, and smiled rather big, trying to stop the shaking. She was just so happy to be at Hogwarts. She wished all the kids at her school before could see her now. They'd be in awe of her. not shoving her down in the halls.

Ahhh so they were smart... well at least this girl was. "Hello Lilly anne, its very nice to meet you." she said with a smile of her own. "Im Brittany Lee, Second year Hufflepuff." she added

"Last year was overwhelming at best. I've felt like such an outsider my whole life so I have trouble making friends. I didn't even know this place existed until my letter came. My mum was a witch so I knew we were different. I never guessed that there was a whole different world out there." Rowan brushed her hair back down on her face to help hide her eyes. "How about you? Did you know about Hogwarts before your letter arrived?"

Rowan turned from her new-found friend to introduce herself to another girl who had seated herself at the table. "Hi. I'm Rowan," she said with a smile.

"Oh, that's nice," Charisa said sincerely. "So even though you're here, it's like you've still got a bit of home left when you speak Spanish." Aaand, foreign languages were like amazingness. "Coming here to perfect your English was a great idea! After going to Durmstrang, my brother went to Muggle university in Italy, and it took him a couple semesters just to learn the language," Charisa said. "You'll be on a roll at the end of the year!"

She smiled sympathetically at Natasha. She missed Ukraine sometimes too. But really, she liked it in England a whole lot better. "No, I don't speak Ukrainian," Charisa admitted. "I spoke Russian when I lived there. But I guess I could speak it a little." If she tried. Real hard.

Charisa leaned her forward on her elbows. She was really starting to get used to the Great Hall. "So, how are you liking it here? I'm excited for classes to start."

Charisa grinned broadly. Yep, so far the people were amazing, and Hogwarts was definitely as grand as she always expected it to be. And she had only really seen the Great Hall. Imagine all the new places there were to discover!

"Oh, goooood!" Charisa said, clapping her hands together. Perhaps she was overlooking the fact that classes meant work and studying, but Fee had said they were fun. So it was all good, right? "Most teachers? she repeated, wondering which teachers would be less than welcoming. Eh, she'd find out soon enough.

Charisa shrugged it off and smiled again. "What's your favorite subject, Fee?" she asked curiously. She needed a second year's perspective.

"This is my second year. Last year I was so nervous I couldn't eat for 2 days," she smiled, happy that she was not so nervous now. "So, what do you think of Hogwarts?"

Excitement was bubbling in Aimée's stomach, but right then it was as if it lay dormant - she felt very out of place, but vowed to herself that she'd cheer up, and build up her confidence, and make friends. Yes, now Aimée was feeling a little more excited, but she contained it, and poked at the food on her plate.

Smiling at Harley, Aimée glanced at the other girls robes and nodded as she sounded the word out. So Harley was in the 'green house', eh? Aimée was slightly saddened by the fact that her first friend was not in the same house as she was, but she shook that feeling away and kept the smile on her face. "Yes, I am in Ravenclaw," she agreed, looking down at her own robes and then looking back up as she gestured towards the table she was sat on the end of.

"'Ave you seen the size of zis place, 'Arley?" she asked, a little suddenly, looking up at the magnificent enchanted ceiling. "I can't imagine 'ow I am ever going to be able to find my way around eet!"

"Brittany cool name i'm a third year" Lily-anne "what's your favorite subject"
"well at least you knew thats good, no i always knew my family are pureblood through and through we're nice ones though not the kind who are against muggles" she said with a smile "my grandma was on griffindor Quiddich team"

Satine turned towards a familiar voice and before Margery could finish her words, Satine was already shaking her head and motioning towards an empty seat near her, "O thanks Margery, I'm just really friendly and of course you can sit with me friend." she smiled at her first firstie friend. "Welcome to Ravvie! Did you hear someone yell really loud when you were sorted into our group...yepp that was me..." she said with pride. She loved getting great firsties and she had had a feeling that this one would be a Ravvie from the moment she saw her.

"O thanks...my hair gets in the way sometimes with it being so long." she said with a smile. Satine was very proud of her signature long bright purple hair. "Well, then you're not too far from home. Well, my mom and dad live in London across from Parliament now, but we lived in Texas until my first year here." she said proudly with her thick Texas accent. "My mom works in the Ministry in the Department of Education and my dad is the CEO of a company that the Parliament contracts out to." she said once again glancing up and down the table. Was that her belly man she was starving.

She reached for a cup and pouring some pumpkin juice into it and then took a little drink to keep her belly under control.

Fallon wandered over to the Ravenclaw table. There was a certain Claw she was looking for. She looked all around for the mass of purple hair that would signal Satine somewhere. She looked through all of the faces around her. For some reason, Satine seemed to be eluding her today.

Fallon wondered if she should ask some of the other Claws where Satine was. Then again, she didn't know who would know her.

Yes, Yes... these Ravies were very smart. she knew who to sit next to in class . Turning to the next girl that had spoken to her she gave her a dazzling smile also. "Hello Rowan its a pleasure to meet you also. Im Brittany" she added


"Thank you.' she said to te girl. Yes she seemed to be nice. Brittany suspected she would lie this one. "well Im still debating on that matter because i have an equal love for Charms, DaDa, and Transfiguration." she added

"I had no idea what Quiddich was until last year. Do you play?" Rowan thought the sport was terrific fun to watch, but being as small as she was had no intention of ever playing.
