| | |  Ravenclaw Common Room
 The Ravenclaw common room is a wide, circular room at the top of the seventh floor. Graceful arched windows punctuate the walls, which are hung with blue-and-bronze silks. During the day, Ravenclaws have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Overhead, the ceiling is domed and painted with stars, which are echoed in the midnight-blue carpet. There are tables, chairs, and bookcases, and in a niche opposite the door stands a tall statue of white marble: Rowena Ravenclaw. A delicate-looking circlet has been reproduced in marble on her head with the tiny words 'Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure' etched into the diadem. The statue stands beside a door that leads up to the dormitories above.

"700 fouls? That doesn't leave much room for what you CAN do, does it," Rowan joked. "I think it is the scoring that confuses me the most. If the team who catches the snitch wins, then what is the purpose of scoring points using the hoops?" She liked muggle sports like baseball and basketball, where there was only one way to score a point.

Emily came to the end of her rant.... "I hope that makes some sense to you." "Basically a game can last from a couple of hours to over a day... or a few days... so anything can happen really.
