...Dang, why'd Emily have to pull out that card.

Vashti had no comeback for the "bread" snogging incident. That probably was as embarrasing as it got. Even for a crazy Ravenclaw party. She would've glared if she wasn't still completely pumped from their win.

Oh no, she was definitely not waltzing. That was the last thing she would ever do. And she could only stare as Deus started doing "the running man." That...made the two step look like something she could easily master.

"Isn't there anything that doesn't require me to pick my feet up off the floor?" she finally asked. If such a thing existed...she'd do it. She'd be less likely to fall on her face or trip over her own feet if they didn't have to leave the ground.

Emily grinned, "Thats the spirit!" she said happily. Now she was getting the idea. But still... without moving the feet?
"Well you dont have to move your feet doing the robot..." she said, though the robot wasn't something you could do for a long time.
"Or.... you could sway? hula?... Help me out Deus".
Coming up with ideas wasn't as easy as she first thought. Still she felt she was making good progress with Vashti- she was more willing now.

Finlay laughed, squeezing her a bit tighter. "Well...I am pretty epic thats probably why they are so good." Yup. He would just go and feed his ego a little. Well he was allowed to they had just won the game, he was allowed to be feeling pretty awesome. "But your hugs are pretty great too." But then he did love hugging girls, he wouldn't tell her that though, he was sure she wouldn't really like that.

Finn laughed, eying her carefully. She wanted him to dance? He didn't really dance, but he was sure he could make an exception today. "Well...." He paused, a grin on his face. "Just for you..."

After snuggling into Finn's chest she pulled away, "Of course my hugs are good, I'm also pretty epic." she said. "But if you are that epic, then you can show me with your moves!" she said pulling him closer to her on the dancefloor. Now the party was heating up! What with Deus, Vashti, herself and now Finn tearing it up on the dance floor.

Spike grinned. Miss Ellie had called him incredible. Even though he hadn't managed to actually get a shot in today. He'd made some good passes to the others though, right?

The grin faltered though. Put. The Trophy. Down? He stared at her. "Jacob said I had to look after it," he said. And for once, the young boy had both listened to his Captain, and was going to do what he said. Taking it from his head, he hugged it again. "Don't want someone trying to be sneaky with it, do we?" His face was stubborn. Or trying to be. It hurt his eyes to narrow them properly. The result was probably rather amusing.

""Do I hear...a Jimmy?" Spike asked, a smile spreading back on to his face. He tried to work out where the voice was, so he could see the blurry outline just to check it really was Jimmy, all healed and better. That resulted in him spinning round on the spot rather haphazardedly, and it was probably a good thing that Ellie's arm was still round him, and Finn was nearby. Tripping over one's feet, even with bad eyesight, was NOT the COOL way to go about a celebratory party. Especially when near two uber-cool dudes in Finn and Jimmy.
Hugs? Epic hugs were being given? And Spike was being missed out. "Ahem," he coughed pointedly. Just because he was hidden behind a trophy and couldn't exactly see them, didn't say he wanted to be left out of it.

Dancing on the other hand...he'd definitely give that a miss.

Aww. Emily really was cute, what with this snuggling in his chest. Finn held her close, grinning. "You're pretty and epic." Yup, totally a pretty epic girl, and he didn't mind telling her about it. Hehe. "Well in that case." He grinned, slyly wrapping his arm around her waist. They were totally going to rock the dancefloor, because they were just that epic. "You better have epic dancing skills too Emily, or I will be very disappointed." He had no fear that she was going to be great though.

But then he heard Spike talk, and he glanced back, laughing. "You'll get a hug from Em too Spike...." He paused for a second, thinking. "Just as soon as I'm done with her." Yup. Finlay Carmicheal was definetly the man right now.

Okay.

So, Iris didn't really WANT to be at a Quidditch party that wasn't celebrating a Slytherin win. Perhaps that was a little selfish, and maybe a bit too House-proud. She was still here though, because she was a prefect and figured that these things were the kind of events that Prefects HAD to show up to.

The Prefect made her way into the gazebo-looking tent thing. Why was it everyone seemed to have parties under these ugly things? Why not just outside? Iris hadn't really made an effort with her outfit. She didn't see the point. Quidditch was messy, dresses didn't fit in with broomsticks and bludgers. Looking around the many, many students that were already here, Iris saw LOTS of Eagles hovering around the tent. They all seemed very happy with themselves. Next year? Next year this will be Slytherin's party, no doubt about it.

The life? Really? It's not like he traveled that much. And...well, he'd rather go to many more places each summer, but there wasn't much time to spare between Quidditch games and getting ready for Hogwarts, right?

He failed to comment, because he could blush very easily if he said something about it. The traveling part.

But, oh, Australia! "Oh, no, I know where we went, we have pictures and all, it was...Canberra, Sydney and Wagga Wagga." Like, the Wagga Wagga Werewolf story, yes, that one. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember if he'd like any of those best.

Blink.

Stare.

He didn't even know that Mia had a boyfriend, haha, but if Russia was something like Romania, then he wouldn't like it as much. Not that it mattered, since Mia was the one going over there this summer, "Oh, I didn't know you had a boyfriend, I'm assuming he doesn't study here at Hogwarts, right?" it was a simple 'Yes' or 'No' kind of question, so, in reality, he wasn't meddling or anything. "Well, I hope you have a great time, in that case," though, it was perfectly clear that she WILL be having a good time, no? Whether she liked Russia or not.

Did she say something else? Probably not. It was just a cough, no?

But this was another Slytherin that seemed...nice?

First Fee, then Justin, and now....oh, her name was Marie. Well, if she was nice, then he was smiling, "Nice to meet you too, Marie." Yes, he was smiling this time, "And thanks for the Congratulations, by the way." Ah, he'd overheard whatever she'd said to Mia about the second placing stuff.

And...this wasn't a nice one.

Actually, Treyen has always thought of Chicken!girl Destiny's friend to be rather scary, not to mention...amazingly tall.

And, yeah, he nodded.

But...wait...he remembered something! "You're the Slytherin Seeker, right?" of course she was! He was there in the Stands, at that Gryffindor vs Slytherin game where he'd been rooting for Slytherin when...er, yeah, "I'm glad to see you're doing okay after that fall." And now he was smiling, and he'd meant that, by the way.

Yeah, she still scared him, but being a Seeker earned her a smile.

Cissy frowned and put her fists on her hips. SHE had asked to dance first. "After you are done with that dance,will you dance with me?" she aksed him.

"I'd better," warned Spike, as Finn stole Emily away to dance. Or did she steal Finn? Whatever, Spike wasn't going to forget about that owed hug. No he wasn't.

Nor would he go on the dance floor to go get it...
Finally Spike managed to spy a blurry Jimmy, and, after adjusting his hold on the trophy, gave him a wave. "There's food?" Spike's eyes would have widened if they could, and his stomach let out a large rumble. Apparently the older guy was right. Trophy carrying was hungry work. And the Quidditch bit too.

With a sheepish look down at his stomach, Spike looked back up at Jimmy. "And where I might I find said food?"

Heh.

"Follow my voiiiiice." Jim suggested in what was supposed to be a 'disimbodied voice' sort of tone. Or something.

"I'm staking out the buffet." He said this bit between bites.

Neptune Bott SO had not attended the game.


.... but the guilt started to settle in and she wandered down to the after-Party to maybe catch a few people... Certain Person who may or may not still be her boyfriend maybe? She wasn't even sure who won or lost .... however, it didn't take too long to figure it out.


Which actually made her feel worse. Proud and good and worse. Sigh.


She found her Finny and attached to him, wrapping both of her arms around his elbow. "Finny. Congrats." Suuuure he had people and girls and things around him, but ... she was his Princess, so, she had certain arm privileges.

"How're you going to enjoy the party if you have a death grip on it?" For real. It would be hard to eat with it. And it would get heavy after a while, wouldn't it?

Heh. He was SO cute, though. Just...so cute.

Ellie eyed him a bit. "Good." Be cheered. Eat.

Her appetite hadn't come back, yet. Hopefully it would before the party was over, though. The food looked amazing.

She released Spike. "Seriously. Go get something to eat. I promise the trophy will still be here when you get back." Promise.

What would he do with Jimmy? Finlay laughed, rolling his eyes at Jimmy. "Oh....I have no idea whatsoever. I mean....I depend on you mannn!" He grinned, grabbing a bread roll off of the table and taking a bite. Mmm. Nommy. Bread rolls.

Swallowing Finn grinned at his best mate. "Dont get injured again though....my mom like nearly had a heart attack." Shame she wouldn't do that if Finn got hurt. Kinda sucked.

Oh. Oh. Now he had another girl attached to him. Oh. He really was attracting the girls tonight. Aaah. It was Neptune. "Thanks Tuney..." Finlay smiled, glancing down at the girl that had attached herself to his elbow. Yup....he was totally cool, and girl on each side. "Did you come to the game?" Not that he had played, but still was obvious very cool.

Lexi skipped into the Celebration with a big smile on her face. Spotting Jim she skidded to a stop and SQUEALED a little bit! "JIMMY! I am so glad you're out of the hospital wing!!" she cried out. She really was.

Glancing around she also spotted NEW BESTIE! Otherwise known as MISS BOTT. Giving Jim a finger wiggle she went to join Tuney. Smiling at Finlay she said, "Congrats!"

Resigned to an evening of pretending like everything was AWESOME, Jim grinned at Lexi's bouncing arrival and even managed a crooked sort of smile for Neptune.

"Watch out for those bread rolls." He suggested to Finn, straight-faced, though he shot a sly little glance over at Emily as he said it. It was all in good fun. Heh. These guys had all missed it yes?

He shrugged. "Yeah I don't even know if my mum knows. Or at least... they probably do," His parents, "and will remember to see if I'm ok if they get home for the summer." He would have added to that, commented that he'd been actually surprised and gratified at how many people had been worried about him, but well, it wasn't as if he and Finn were alone. And it wasn't as if Jim was about to share that tidbit about himself with Lexi and Neptune right there, along with anyone else who just happened to have their ears tuned their way.

Jim ate something else without even looking at it.

Tasted bacon-y so that was good.

Amadeus grinned at Finlay as he joined them all on the dance floor. He stopped his ridiculous running man as the music changed. "Well," He addressed Vashti, "You could always do the twist." He smirked, knowing that there would be no way for her to refuse to dance now. Hm. Maybe it was a partner that she needed? "Spike!" Deus called to him, waving his hand at the braveheart of the Ravenclaw team. The curly-headed kid didn't look too privy to dancing, but a lightbulb flicked on in the blonde's head that would probably be a surefire way to get most everyone dancing. "Vashti needs a partner!" It was hard to keep the smirk from his lips.

Although it was true that he was a solo dancer, he didn't mind it one bit. It was too irksome to have to lead someone in the ways of the jig, and even more irritating to have to follow another's lead.

Oh. It was Lexi. Now Finn had a feeling this might have been kind of awkward, but it didn't feel awkward at not. Especially with Lexi smiling at him. Maybe they were actually going to get along for once. "Thanks Lex..." He smiled back at her. Well this was different, but he liked it. It was nice not having to fight constantly.

"Oh....I don't care really Tune....not like I was playing." Annoyingly. He hadn't even been ill on the day of the game. Yes. It was very annoying. Wait....she wanted to go the puffs! But he wanted to dance with Emily too! "umm....can't we just stay here?" Like by the ravenclaws, and celebrate. They were also by the food and that was much better. Yes. He was totally up for staying here.

He had to watch out for the breadrolls. "Why.....?" He asked, glancing down at the role in his hand (which was attached to the arm that Neptune was clinging too) "Is it going to like bite my tongue off...." Because that would not be cool at all.
If they got home for summer. "I hope they do...." He smiled weakly at his best mate. He knew how Jim's parents were. "You know....you're always welcome 'round mine during the summer." Like he was welcome around his house all the time.

Lexi pulled a little face at Neptune's comment and then giggled. "If by my type you mean incredibly awesome, then yes. I hope my awesome does not take away from your team's win... that would be a shame," she said trying to look SERIOUS. And failing.

Looking around she caught Jim's grin and giggled at him TOO. "Glad you didn't kick the bucket, buddy. And... I have something for you. I will give it to you later though," she said with a big smile. She would give him the little trinket when no one was around to see him hit her. Hehehe.

Giving a little shrug to Finn she smiled wider still. "Well you guys deserve it. Had a stellar season. Too bad we are going to win the House Cup though." Smiiiiiirk. Nothing wrong with a little innocent ribbing.

Jacob turned in his seat, and watched his team celebrating and dancing. A new smile crossed his face. They seemed so proud of themselves... as they rightfully should. But there they were, celebrating, completely unaware of next years dangers.

They thought Jacob worked them hard to get the cup? He was going to work them 10 times harder. 'but yes, my monkeys. Dance. Dance the night away, feast to your hearts desire, and your stomaches impolsion, but be warned, My Monkeys, this was not to last. For Next Term, We Shall Start A New! And We shall Reign upon this school as Quidditch Champions Forever more! Our Work Shall Be Hard, But The Celebrations Shall Be Great, And Our Rule Shall Be Greater!'

Jacob had to force a cough as to not allow himself to outwardly laugh, a maniacal laugh.

And he turned his attention back to Vindictus waiting to see what the Man thought.

Neptune stomped her foot once before looking up at Finny, "I hate when you say no. But have fun. I'm going ... " about. Somewhere. She waved at him and wandered towards Lexi.

...Oh why had she said that? Why did she even have to say anything before? Vashti should've seen all this coming. Emily and Deus obviously weren't going to let this go now. Merlin, why didn't she learn to keep her big mouth shut?

Swaying seemed okay, but she'd feel weirder doing it by herself, yet having a partner would just be awkward and increase the chance that she'd somehow step on someone's foot. So that was out.

The hula? Maybe. She was considering it.

But how in Merlin's beard did you do the twist?

It was times like these that Vashti felt very unRavenclaw-like.

"I..." Wait, what was Amadeus saying?
