Located on a flat grassy area between the Castle and the Stadium, a brilliant white tent has been erected. The latest music hits can be heard coming from the WWN and the music gets louder once inside. Blue and bronze balloons float overhead while tiny magical white stars sparkle as they flutter harmlessly towards the ground. Tables and chairs are scattered about. There's even an open area for dancing. Along one side of the tent stretches a buffet table laden with tasty treats, drinks, and even a massive cake in the shape of a Golden Snitch. Above the buffet is a large banner congratulating Ravenclaw on their victory.
Come on in and celebrate the end of the Quidditch season with all of your friends. Even a few staff members might decide to join in on the festivities.
And she thought it was good that he was admitting that it would be surprised. Because then she didn't feel bad. Even if she wasn't gonna anyway.
Ellie eyed him and looked around her again, looking... "Can I ask you a question?" Not like she was NOT going to if he'd said 'no'. "What's with boys and the word 'cute'?" Was it really so bad a word?
"Yeah you-" But she was already asking. Dallin cocked an eyebrow, snorting when she finished.
But... it was actually a pretty good question. He tried to think of a good answer but decided that his first response was most truthful. "Well, 'cute' is a word that girls use to describe things like babies and new-born puppies, if I'm correct." And he was pretty sure he was. "And personally, if a girl is describing me, I don't want her to use the same word she uses to describe babies." He shrugged.

She nodded along with what he was saying. "Yeah, and Knarls." Nod. Nod.
Ellie folded her arms across her chest and tilted her head. There was probably also lip biting.
Strange boys.
"But boys don't like USING the word cute either." Which was just silly.
And in the most twisted way, what he said kinda made sense. Mental note.

Neptune couldn't QUITE keep from looking over her shoulder back to him.
....Hmph.
"You're still here." In case he didn't realize.
Okay.
That was his cue.
He needed to get out of Neptune's surroundings as soon as possible. And he didn't even know which way to take.
So, er, since he needed that drink so badly, he went off to the table.

No dancing unless anyone had an excellent argument, but she could munch on food and enjoy the music. At least until a Quidditch player or two got close enough that she could slip a congratulatory wish to them. And, when she saw some strawberries, she zeroed in and took one reverently. They were nowhere near as good as chocolate, but it was a close second.
And it was a good thing he did, for he noticed the person he'd been originally walking towards! "Professor Bishop!" he said, with a wide smile on his face, and took one butterbeer from the table. He tried VERY hard not to look at Ellie and the boy.
"Did you see the game?" his eyes fell on the strawberry and almost instantly on the boy that was yelling about kicking Ravenclaws? Whaaaat? It almost looks like he'd gotten away from Neptune at the right time, because she was beyond anger. Scary.
Neptune couldn't QUITE keep from looking over her shoulder back to him.
....Hmph.
"You're still here." In case he didn't realize.
Already being QUITE irritated, it was no real surprise that the SHOUTING of THIS Gryffindor made Neptune see red.
R E D.
1. He was Gryffindoring to the most unattractive degree possible.
2. He'd choked Jake.
3. Was.... the BIG ONE .... Jimmy? WAS 'THE BIG ONE' JIMMY?
In Neptune's mind, Jim was the big one, so 3 strikes Mr. Carter. With easy subtly, Neptune retrieved her wand from her purse.
Then she quite simply cast a POTENT and ANGRY non-verbal stunner, Josh Carter's chest being her bullseye.
He got off easy. She was sort of wishing Mr. Durskurk had taught them those Unforgiveables, because .... she wasn't feeling very forgiving towards him at ALL.
.... stunner sent, she wandered towards the edge of the tent. You know, nothing to see here, innocent Bott coming through. HOPEFULLY HE FELL AND HIS HIT HIS BIG STUPID HEAD.
AHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Oh the Gryffindoring finally brought the FIGHT out in Tuney. WOOT! Perhaps Lexi was a good influence on her afterall. She was learning so well. It made her so proud. Hmmmm... it also made her want to set Josh's clothes on fire. Meh, she would wait to see if he reacted in an unslightly Gryffindor manner. If so... he was going up in flames. Period, point blank.
Lexi would catch her in a minute...
Turning back to the food table and her compadre, Jimmy, she sighed slightly and said, "Hey let's grab allll the food we can and go like... hide and talk and eat and such. Wanna?" Of course he did. Food and Lexi's company. Pffft. Anyone would be a fool to pass that up.
She nodded along with what he was saying. "Yeah, and Knarls." Nod. Nod.
Ellie folded her arms across her chest and tilted her head. There was probably also lip biting.

For this, Dallin had a very simple answer.
"It's girly."
He didn't know why exactly, it just was. Like he said, it was a word used to describe babies and puppies and things of that nature. He didn't even see what was so great about those things and what made them cute.

That. Was. The. Most. RIDICULOUS. Answer. Ever.
Really. How could a word be 'girly'? Did that mean that there were also 'boy..y' words?
No. Cuz there weren't. Just boys being RIDICULOUS.
Ellie shook her head, "If you say so."

Satine wondered through the crowd looking for a familiar face or two...she swore that every time she went anywhere in the castle she ran into a billion new faces, surely Hogwarts wasn't growing that fast...
She walked through the crowd with her usual smile on her face and she nodded at various people as she walked trying to be polite. She was a little bummed that the term was coming to an end and she felt like she hadn't accomplished all of her goals for the term...well she had one more year...o don't mention that...one more year...that just wasn't enough time left at Hogwarts...she really wanted to stay here forever...well maybe not forever but not just for one more year.
She glanced up from her thoughts and saw a table of drinks. She walked slowly over the table and grabbed a drink turning around to find anyone she knew.

They were just SO lucky that they had this Josh Carter; the Master of the Awesomest of the Awesome Parties as a schoolmate. Yes, maybe not as a housemate but Josh was not going to leave those poor blue eagles without the pleasure of experiencing REAL party just because he was a Gryffindor. Being so noble and helpful, the lion boy was going to grant them this favour. A gift from for being the Quidditch champion and all. Heehehehe.
So; slowly, lazily and cooly walking into the large party tent, the lion boy first observed around some. People, tables, people, chairs, people, buffet, people, big cake, people, shiny stuff, people, large Ravie banner and people...etc. Well...at least they had not decorated the place with textbooks and exam papers. Hemce why he had thought, at first place, that this party might have been in the library instead. Bahahahaha! There were even more people then he had expected to be which was good. Very good indeed.
However; though the party was not as horrible as he had thought it would be, it still looked like it needed to be fixed and replaced with something much more fun! That way it would be a real party. Move people! Move! The Master of Everything had come!
Making his way to the table which was close to the middle of the tent, Josh smirked to himself and stepping on the chair before him, he jumped on the table! Yeah, he was walking on the table eyeing everybody there! ''ALL RIGHT PEOPLE! NOW THE FUN PART OF THE PARTY STARTS'' he yelled to everyone trying to make his voice perceptible.
''NOW! RIGHT NOW THE REAL PARTY STARTS! WE ARE GOING TO PLAY 'KICK THE RAVENCLAW AND DOUBLE THEIR HAPPINESS' SOUNDS FUN, HA?''
BAHAHAHAHAHA!
''IT'S JUST SIMPLE AS THE NAME OFFERS AAAAAND...'' the Gryffindor looked around some more to spot Vinny in the tent. Where was Vinny? Hmm. He could not see the man but whatever. ''...EXTRA CREDIT GOES FOR THE BIG ONE'' Yeah, the big one. The big Ravenclaw.
This must entertain them. Yeah. It must.
Emily's had snapped up....... what in the name of.............merlin, was going on?! Some Gryffindor boy appeared to think he was the 'life' of the party... yer um no!!! that right was reserved to the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team... he was not nearly epic enough to be considered the life of the party.
Suddenly Emily was alarmed. Yes thats right alarmed... he was condoning violence? Against the Victorious Claws??... he was a Claw-basher? or kicker or whatever.
Turning around frantically she checked to make sure she was surrounded by Claw's- just as a precaution. If anyone even tried to kick her, she would not hesitate in hexing them. Oh yes... she would do that. It was called self defence. *nods*
She glanced over at Vindictus.. surely he'd settle the boy down?.... perhaps?
*sigh*
Really. How could a word be 'girly'? Did that mean that there were also 'boy..y' words?

Ellie shook her head, "If you say so."
Hm. She probably didn't think his answer was a good as he thought it was. He thought that explained his reasoning perfectly, but whatever.
Eh. So now what.
"Anyway. Did you play Beater in the game?" Dumb question, but it was the first thing he thought of.

He'd notice that hair anywhere, no matter what he was doing.
"Satine!" he yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth to get his voice heard over the music. He almost ran over to the sixth year, but then he remembered he was standing with Ellie, and that would be rude.
But he wanted to talk to Satine; it'd been MONTHS since they'd last talked.

Jim HAD literally been just eating. Mindlessly. Ignoring all the drama and enjoying cake. Thing was, his heart just wasn't in it, even if the party was for a good thing that he WAS into.
He also ignored that Josh kid. And Marie. And Neptune.
Those last two, he sort of failed on.
When Lexi finally managed to get his attention (she'd only got a vague grunt in response from him before) he stopped mid-action, cake halfway to his mouth and looked at her.
Sagging a bit he nodded. "Yeah. Yeah that would be good."
He ate that bit of cake and then loaded up a couple of plates.... for himself.
He waggled his eyebrows at Lexi. Was SHE going to get some food too?

Lexi grabbed another plate and piled it full of... whatever she could get her hands on. Cake, biscuits, EVERYTHING. Then balancing the two plates she led them over to a nice secluded corner and plopped down in the floor.
Patting the ground beside her she smiled a bit sadly and said, "Have a seat. We can commiserate." Misery loved company. And Lexi was hurting too.

The girl HMPHed as she tightened her arms across her chest.
"Dallin. You NEED to come to games!" That was an order. "Promise you'll go next term?" Ellie gave him a LOOK. One that she was hoping he couldn't say 'no' to. Hoping. It was just a shame for him to be missing out on the games. She only had his best interest at heart here.
Not really, but... didn't matter.
She raised her eyebrow as he called for Satine.
"You're dismissed, you know. If you want to go talk to her." He'd proven what he needed to. Now he could and SHOULD just go have fun.
And she could hit the food table.

Satine started glancing around as she heard her name faintly over the music.....there was just so much movement and so many people that it was hard to see.
Just when she thought that maybe her mind was playing tricks on her, she saw a face that instantly made her perk up even more. She stood on her tippy toes to try to figure out the easiest route to wonder over to him and then set out weaving and dodging as quickly, and gracefully, as she could...
As she approached, she realized that he was standing by someone that looked rather familiar to her, but she couldn't really put a name with a face...she could feel her smile dropping a little bit when a thought passed through her mind...was it worry or jealousy...or no...that couldn't be it at all...and afterall the girl could just be Dallin's friend or something....prolly the or something but she couldn't linger on it too long...she hadn't seen him in a while and lots could've changed in those weeks...or was it months...
She focused back on her target and her smile was instantly back as she got a little bit closer. Despite the thoughts bouncing around in her head like a tennis match, she was genuinely excited to see the fourthie, now almost fifthy.
She literally bounced up to him with her purple curls bouncing behind her. She hesitated for a moment not sure how to greet him and then she let all caution blow away and she hugged him quickly before saying, "Howzit Stanger!!! Long time no see....or well...talk...or well anything..." she said standing beside him to where she could still see everyone moving about.

His eyes widened and he shook his head. "You don't have to go!"
...Blink.
"Um, unless, ya know, you want to."
Blink. What was wrong with him today?

He was distracted from his weirdness (even more weirdness than usual) when Satine came over to him. He returned her hug with enthusiasm and smiled. It surprised him to realize how much he had missed her and her attitude.
"Seriously! You been avoiding me?" He winked, biting the corner of his bottom lip. "I've been great, though. Swamped with homework like a good little Ravenclaw." Heh. "What about you, Beautiful?" He so wasn't flirting.

Satine smiled back at Dallin and then glanced at the girl beside him and then back at him quickly. She didn't want to be rude and cut her out of the conversation, but she figured if the girl wanted to meet her then she would introduce herself.
Satine cocked her right eyebrow up in the air at his comment about avoiding him, with a little giggle she replied, "Well, if I'm avoiding you then I'm doing a bad job right now..." she said with a wink at him and then continued, "You? a good little Ravvie....o I don't believe that at all..." she said with a little nudge to his elbow with hers.
Her face lite up even more, which couldn't completely be possible with how big her smile already was, but some how it did when he called her beautiful and winked at her..was Dallin flirting with her...not that she was complaining or anything about it...she let her smile fade into a little happy smirk at his words. "Well, cutie.... I've been doing great...same ol same ol boring Satine, staying out of trouble and keeping my nose in the books..." she said with a shrug of her shoulders..."you know nothing tooo exciting...." she said and then took a quick drink out of her cup. "So any new gossip in your life?" she asked making eye contact with him.

Giggle.
Excuses, excuses.
"Good." Ellie WILL come after him if he doesn't show up next term.
She smiled at Satine as she came over, and turned back to Dallin. "No, really. There's cake to be eaten."
Smile.
And she began to walk over to the food...to the cake.

Dal frowned slightly at Ellie, then shrugged one shoulder. "'Kay, see ya later than. Congrats again on the Cup!" He waved for a sec before turning back to Satine.
"Ah, very true," he said seriously. "It's okay though, no one can avoid me for long. They're drawn to my outgoing personality and good looks." Heh. Totally true. He smiled innocently at her next words. "What? I'm a good - ah, nevermind. You shouldn't believe it." Because the only reason he had been doing homework and studying was so that he wouldn't fail examinations. He did not want to repeat fourth year for a third time.
He had the urge to laugh when she called him Cutie right after the conversation he'd had with Ellie. He didn't do anything, though, but smile. "Oh, not boring." He disagreed. The Satine he knew always had something fun going on in her life. He didn't even know that 'boring' was in her vocabulary.
"Gossip?" He snorted. "Me? No, my life is boring." He sort of wished he did have something interesting to tell her, but really there was nothing. His love life was batting a zero - which wasn't fun to think about, considering how much of a lady's man he sw himself as - and everything else was just boring. "What about youuu?"

Satine smiled and then watched as the girl headed off in a different direction and then she turned back and focused back in on Dallin.
She giggle and rolled her eyes at him, "Oooooo....is that what you think...maybe we're just drawn to you because we think you might get lost without someone with you at all times..." she giggled a little bit more...she thought it was cute when he was cocky..."I bet you're sweet and innocent somewhere inside there..." she said pointing at this heart and making a sarcastic look.
She just shook her head left and right when he said she wasn't boring...she sure felt like she was, but it wasn't worth arguing about. She scrunched her lips up and then answered, "No Gossip at all...that's impossible...I mean everytime I run into you you're talking to a girl so you have to have some gossip and life can't be too boring if you are constantly surrounded by cute girls...." she said with a little wink again....it was true he seemed to always have a girl around him...he was a cute one so she didn't blame the girls for flocking to him..."Me...nope no gossip on my end either...just hoping to make it to the end of the term...I almost would like some excitement...." she said glancing out over the crowd half way wishing for that but at the same time enjoying her event less existence.
[COLOR="Navy"]Dal frowned slightly at Ellie, then shrugged one shoulder. "'Kay, see ya later than. Congrats again on the Cup!" He waved for a sec before turning back to Satine.
"See you," Ellie called back over her shoulder. And she wouldn't say 'thanks' again. Once was enough. That was the modest thing to do, right? Maybe?
The crowd cleared some and she was able to finally see the food table. Food.
AND Treyen. She saw Treyen.
BEAM.
Ellie rushed right over to him, and gave him the most MASSIVE hug of the day. She didn't even care who he was talking to.
"Thank you." He knew why.
Cling.

Deus managed to finish the sentence without the awkward feeling that he felt about nearly running her over. "Sorry about that," He finally apologized. "I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have."
People were dancing? Was there even music? Ellie tried to listen for music but all she got was the buzzing of loud chatter and the random churchbell banging around in her head, rattling her brain. Yeah, coming down to the party was a bad idea. Out of the corner of her eye, Ellie saw a tall boy having a seizure dancing like Michael Jackson and she stopped for a moment to observe. Amadeus was moon-walking his way over and Ellie was in his path. But she didn't move. She didn't really think about it, she just stood there, ready to be stomped on. So when the impact came, she knew what it was. Ellie stumbled backwards a few steps and teetered around for a moment before regaining balance. "Oh hey, Amadeus." She said, almost wistfully.
She looked... Lovely? How about like Godzilla? Ellie had bags under her eyes and no makeup. She had just woken up and was still sick and refused to go the nurse. And she looked lovely? The compliment didn't sound so sincere. "Er, thanks. Your shoes... are shiny... It's nice." She mumbled, looking around, still teetering around.
This was dangerous.

Just then he noticed a brunette stumbling about he tilted his head to his side confused. Was it... Was it a dance of victory because her house had won the Cup? He walked up to her with a small smile. "Hey El." he said. "What er... What are you doing?" Because if it was a dance, he wouldn't want to sound disrespectful and say that it looked funny. He didn't want to lose the girl he'd been longing to get for over a year.
Really, where was that boy? Her boy? Ellie was still stumbling around and looking for Alex, bumping into chairs. Or they might have been people, who knows? Whilst her unintelligent tripping, Ellie spotted a mass of brown hair out of the corner of her eye. Attached to that hair was a head. It had eyes. They were looking at her. When she saw Alex approach her and smile, she grinned too. "Hi there." Ellie said back.
"I'm, er... standing." Ellie said. She felt a cough coming, so she buried her face in her elbow and wheezed a little. "Sorry." She mumbled. "I've still got a cough that won't bugger out." And with that, her head began to feel light and she stumbled backward a few steps.
Cling.
With Neptune out of the way, he was somehow free from thinking, acting and saying what was really on his mind, without being worried over what anyone's reactions would be.
Still, he kind of enjoyed being around Netune sometimes. SOME TIMES.
And now Bishop will act as a shield if the Sixth year Ravenclaw ever returned to his side, no? Yes, see, Treyen was a clever boy.
By now, his butterbeer was half down its original volume, and he couldn't believe he'd asked Bishop if she'd been at the game, after all, he'd been awful in it, the only reason he wasn't feeling ashamed was because the feeling of joy sort of overtook him.
A feeling that certainly lowered when he saw his favorite Ravenclaw with that other boy. Glare.
No, he didn't glare, because he didn't have the time to do that, as soon as he considered doing so he was being hugged, VERY tightly, by none other than the girl of his dreams Ravenclaw Seeker. And forgetting all about the dancing, the twirling and the boy, Treyen didn't fight the hug at all, he received it and now his arms were around her. He wasn't going to break the hug this time.
And she'd thanked him? GRIN.
"You have to give it back, you know? The good luck." He whispered in her ear. It was fairly obvious that he wouldn't want anyone to know that. Especially his Captain, who was already here.

"Of course." She would be more than happy to do so. "Anytime." Quidditch next term, or something else.
Ellie released Treyen, and observed his person. "You're fine, right?" Because she wasn't even aware of how bad Spike's injury was, much less how the Hufflepuff team had fared.
...Come to think of it, she hadn't really seen the rest of his team. "Everyone else, they're fine, right?"
Mhm. This was her being unselfishish.

Smile.
Anytime? "I think 'now' would be most appropriate," there was a smirk on his face as his index finger touched his cheek, yes, that meant Ellie was supposed to give him HIS good luck BACK. No?
Considering Finals were around the corner, then, yes, please, give us our good luck back.
And if she didn't believe him then...., "Considering I just LOST, then that could cheer me up." Amazingly enough, he was still smiling.
What?
Oh, yes, Treyen shrugged, "I'm alright, no injuries." His hands were raised in the air, she could totally see that there was not even a scratch anywhere on him. That was a first. "I assume you're too?" if he assumed so, then why was there a look of concern on his face?
Neptune was entirely right. Ellie shouldn't be playing this game.
"Jake may not be that alright, but he'll be." And, well, Kai, being a Beater and all, was used to being hit by Bludgers, so, they were all fine, really.

Still smiling, Ellie gave him a LOOK. She sooo should've seen that coming.
"You cannot use your loss to guilt me into anything." Because HE had given her the luck to win. Technically, it was his fault he lost. Completely.
Still, she obliged, with another hug to accompany the good luck kiss.
"Good." She totally didn't want him to be hurt. "Yeah, I'm fine. I think I grazed my arm on one of the...stands' innards," she shrugged and stole a glance at her left arm, "But it's fine." It didn't even hurt. Much. As in, she could ignore it. Like she was doing now. "Did you even realize the stands had insides?" Yeah, you learned something new everyday.
Eeps. Jake got hurt? She hoped that she didn't cause it in the confusion that went on out of the crowd's view. Wild. "Soon?" He'll be alright soon? He didn't have too bad of an injury?

And what was that LOOK for, exactly?
"You're right." But he really didn't care, CLEARLY, because he was still smiling. And she tends to be more right than wrong whenever he's around, no? It seems like it. What she said had made sense but really, he only wanted his good luck back. He owed the team that.
Plus, a kiss from Ellie was a very nice bonus, no?
And...blink.
She'd done it, hadn't she? He couldn't help to blush, though, especially since it also came with a hug. He was...the happiest boy alive, seriously. Even if he was the reason they'd lost the Championship, ha. "But you forgot to say what it was for." DO OVER.
Yeah, he was only kidding, he couldn't force another blush upon his cheeks, which now held a pinkish hue.
Wait...what?
His eyes widened just enough for Ellie to notice that he was kind of in shock to hear such news. Though, really, her arm looked fine, because he'd followed her eyes and sort of took a look at it. Yeah. Neptune was right. "You should probably see the Healer soon," like, not right now, and Treyen could very easily walked her upstairs. He'd carried a GIANT Hufflepuff to the Hospital Wing, with a little help from Katie, but still.
He still smiled, though, "I'm glad you're fine." Basically, they were both content with both of them being fine. That was good, no? And then he chuckled, "You didn't know?" just because their former Seeker and a couple other players had crashed into them didn't make them solid. It was all hollow in the inside, alright?
Treyen resisted the urge to say 'Who cares?' and simply nodded, "Soon. He only hit his head." And he was okay now. Even if Neptune preferred to think otherwise.
