| | |  Professor Maya Saylen's Cottage
 The white stone hut looks like it belongs on the beach of Acapulco, seeming a tad fragile with plant stalks making up the roof. But fear not, Maya has made sure it won't collapse on you during a heavy rainfall.
When approaching the ornate door, there is a small sign which says 'Take your shoes off'. Also, you will see a sitting area to the left, complete with its own roof for shade against the sun – if the British weather allows for any. Feel free to take a seat here while you wait for the Professor.
When you step inside, the first thing you notice is the colorful decoration. Following the traditions of the Mexican lifestyle, Maya has placed several zarapes around the hut (which are also strewn around the floor to serve as carpets) and any other keepsakes - reminding her of family and home. The white walls are adorned with picture frames and paintings, most of which were done by her mother.
To the right, you see an open fireplace with more pictures on the mantlepiece. There is a single white rocking chair across from it that Maya highly values. Please don't sit on it – instead, you are welcome to rest behind it, on the large comfy sofa. Keep your feet off the coffe table though!
A big window to the left side of the hut lets daylight pour inside, litting the room. This is the place where Maya's desk is situated for her to start working on assignments and the curriculum. There's a tall bookshelf next to it where all her favorite litterature is stored aswell as books on various Creatures, Veterinary Medicin and Magizoology.
Please remember to knock before entering. If any lack of respect is shown, Maya will not hesitate to take points. Now, when you are called inside, please take off your shoes as Maya likes to walk around barefoot and wants to keep her home clean. Thankyou.
The Professor is in.She is so in the door practically isn't even there anymore.
Do not constipate Maya's office with chatter. | |

"I-I was wondering if perhaps it would be alright if he tagged along for a Care of Magical Creatures class...I don't think he would cause any trouble." Wishful thinking. Blink blink blink.
...and why was the young girl looking up? Why was she acting so oddly... But she seemed to get on another thinking path, but Maya would definitely keep her eyes on her. Ah, Walnut was his name, "I see. Good to hear he is doing well." The corners of her lips wanted to curl up, thinking of the spraying, but she pursed her lips to hide it.
Tag along? "I do not advise you to take your pet along, it might not react well with whatever we are doing in the lesson. Plus, it might distract you from learning." Then she shrugged lazily, "Aslong as he doesn't interrupt or bother me, I guess it's allright." Quote:

Jackie looks at the professor. "Yes, in London. My cousin was afraid she would get in trouble so she sent her right away." Jackie thought of her foolish cousin. How she wanted to punch her. Her hands were twitching at her sides because of that. "Thank you, professor," Jackie said as she gently placed Melvy on her shoulder and took the bottle of blue gel. "I didn't see any more injuries."

Smileing at the fact he was not going to have to go through bird poo.he takes the Pipette and fills it with the food as she had,give 3 short low whistles Bubba looks over to the boy and opens his mouth.slipping the pipette in " Is this far enough or do you want it so he cant spit it out when you turn your head "feeding the bird who squaked a bit but would open its beak every time it was given it whistle comand

Okay, this was going to take a while, she could sense it. "Please do come inside and take a seat. Don't forget to take off your shoes first." Hmpf. Maya walked back inside and approached the livingroom book shelf. Scanning the titles and authors, she found the book she was looking for and went to sit down on the sofa. Ay. "A sphinx, Mister Taylor, is a magical creature from Egypt." Uh... "The...boy sphinxes want to be close to the..." Sigh. "...girl sphinxes because they are only comfortable talking to their own kind."  "See, they are pretty smart creatures and other beings might not be as intelligent as they are." Did...that answer his questions?
Could she go and... 'return' the book now?

With a couple paint balloons in his hand, Chad grinned mischievously. Out of all the staff he had met here at the school, Saylen had been the most intriguing. And the one he wanted to annoy the most. She seemed like a good sport after all.
Once he was close enough, he lobbed a rock at her door, hoping to get her to come out. Bwahah.

Scratching the owl on the head " See boy told she would get you sorted out ....Thanks proffessor ,so I just do the oitment 2 times a day and feed him with the pipette untill he is eating on his own" letting the bird up and setting him on his arm he starts toward the door and stops "If you want I can help you with your wood pile it looks like you got a busy day

Taking a deep breath, she balled her hands up in fists and stalked out of her home, totally ready to get some kick some Groundskeeper butttttt. "What are you DOING, you are loco!" Crazy he was! "Look at my dress! It was white, now its red!" and as she kept walking towards him, a few sentences and unpleasant words in spanish slipped from her mouth.
She actually growled, and drew out her wand. So he liked paint, did he? Flicking her wand like a brush, multiple droplets of pink paint flew across the space between her and Chad.
Hah! Take THAT!

Yes, he was loco and in dire need of some fun! "I will dry clean it for you," he laughed, stopping when the wand was drawn. Uh oh.
He was about to turn and run when a blob of pink paint was sent his way and he turned his head just in time to be hit in the side of the head. "Good shot," he continued to laugh. This meant war.
"Pingo blue!" With a flick, he sent a blue blob her way and then turned around and ran away, hoping that she would follow.
He would need student support. To the lake!

She was one of them Latino anyway. "I asked her for a book on engineering. But her and Professor Zookara were...gonna hug or something. And she just gave me this book. And then Professor Zookara told me that I should read it. And if I had any questions to come ask you."
He slipped his shoes off and picked them up. Carrying them to the chair, he sat down and placed them on the floor next to him.
He frowned, looking up. Lend it to her? But it was a library book. Did it count as a lend? He hadn't even taken it out of the library. He nodded though, handing it over. "But why the girl sphinxes? Why did they have to get that close? Do they not feel comfortable with the boy sphinxes?"

She started, thinking, "I don't particularily like to breed animals for the sake of breeding... Some of the creatures here stay a long time, but if there seems to be a need to let the younger ones take more espace, then yes... They would then have to be moved somewhere else." How was that?

He frowned again, "That doesn't make sense. I am not an idiot Professor. I was one year away from being accepted into MIT. Except I had to come to this stupid school." He just didn't understand the birds and the bees. He was only 11 after all. He didn't need to know that stuff yet. Girls were icky and had cooties. "They aren't even in their 40s yet. They don't need an eye doctor." Cos 40 was dead old. And he presumed they weren't. They didn't look dead old.
