"Oh no, Violet... I'm sorry I thought you-" Before she could continue Violet's knees buckled underneath her small frame and Violet fell to the ground with a loud thud.

"Oh Sweet Merlin. Violet?" Selina bent down and tried to help her friend up.

"Elektra, I know you're peeved at me, but please help."

Elektra was about to speak until she saw Violet begin to freak out a little and Elektra rubbed her arm and looked away until she heard a thud and watch Violet fall to the floor. All Elektra could do was just look at Selina trying to wake Violet up and Elektra looked away again and heard Selina talk to her. Elektra turned her head to Selina and she sighs and rushes over and kneels down and smacks Violet in the face lightly a couple of times. "Violet! Vi snap out of it."

Violet was knocked out. All she heard was mumbling of very deep voices saying her name repeatedly. Then Violet felt someone smacking her in the face, it made Violet groan a little bit. Her eyes slowly started to open, and while she was doing that she discovered it was Elektra smacking her in the face. She gasped and shoved the both of them away saying,"Oy! Could you kindly please stop smacking me in the face!" Violet rubbed her cheek a little. "The last thing I remember was..." She looked at Elektra and pointed saying,"You're a parseltongue..You can talk to sn...You can talk to snnnnahhhh..." She couldn't say the word, she hated snakes....A LOT! Because she couldn't say the word she just said,"You know what I mean.."

"Wait, you mean snakes?" Selina inquired.

Violet immediately looked at Selina and her voice seemed to drop about ten octives,"Don't you say that word Selina..." She got right up in her face and said slowly,"....Ever...." Violet's eyes narrowed and then she slowly backed away.

Selina gaped in fear at the very scary Veela, "Right."

Elektra fell back as Violet pushed her and then she picked herself up and brushed herself off and she watched Violet have a little bug out about the word...snakes. Heh heh heh. It was actually kind of funny. Elektra raised her eyebrow and she chuckled at Selina and then looked Violet. "So...you don't like snakes? i mean it's just snakes. Snakes are just snakes." She paused and then thought, "Wait...even tiny snakes?"

Violet's eyes directly shot towards Elektra who was seeming to taunt her fear of snakes. She then suddenly gripped onto Selina's wrist tightly as she was glaring at Elektra Violet was suddenly only able to see red at that moment, she felt like a burning sensation building up within her. And on top of that her hands were building to heat up very rapidly.

Selina was wondering why the room had grown so tense and quiet, but when Violet grabbed her wrist Selina knew in an instant. Dear Merlin the little blonde had a tight grip and maybe she was mistaken but Violet's hands were burning Selina's skin.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" Selina said with each ow growing louder than the last. "Violet you're hurting me. Elektra make her stop, she is getting all Veela on me. Come on seriously!"

Elektra raised her eyebrow and she laughs at Selina's pain. Was that wrong to say? NAAAAAAAAAH!! Then when Selina mentioned something about a Veela Elektra looked puzzled. "What does a type of food have to do with snakes? Honestly."

Alex wandered up to the observatory, telescope in hand, ready to begin the first of his journal entries. He wasn't sure WHAT was up with him lately, but he'd felt extra productive and had been completing all of his assignments diligently and on time. It was WEIRD. Dad would be so proud!

He spotted a group of girls around his age and walked past them--don't mind me ladies, just doing homework, he thought as he passed, settling in near a window at the back of the tower. He had about...twenty minutes till he needed to be in his dorm, so he wasn't too worried about the time. He just needed to find a constellation, write it down and stuff, and then be on his way.

He placed the telescope up to his eye and squinted, looking through the window into the night sky. Sooooo many stars! How he was going to identify more than three constellations was beyond him. He only knew of three--Orion, the Big Dipper, and then the Little Dipper. He'd forgotten all the other ones. Sigh. He pulled out his notes and turned away from his telescope to scan them really quickly. Stars were so confusing, always moving around everywhere and never staying in one place for too long.

He looked back into the sky and...OH! There! He saw the Big Dipper! Oh, what was the official name again? Ursa...MAJOR. Yeah, that was it. He pulled out his quill and scribbled in his journal really quickly...

Tonight I located Ursa Major in the night sky. I recognized it immediately because I used to look for that one all the time as a child, and I know it's the Big Dipper because it's bigger than the smaller constellation of similar name.

Erm...yeah. He wasn't sure how specific he needed to be soooo...he'd leave it at that. He was hungry. Time to return back to the kitchens for a midnight snack!

Cedric trudged up to the Observatory, uneasiness apparent in the way he was holding his newly cleaned telescope. Last time he had been here, he felt the most eeriest feeling ever imaginable. And then there had been someone or something lurking in the shadows, triggering his already terrified senses. As it transpired, that despicable being who was scaring the hell out of him was Miranda. Yes, his very best friend, whom admittedly, was following him around. Cedric chuckled softly as he reminisced that memory. Once he graduated, he would so watch a match of Miranda with the Holyhead Harpies.

A soft breezed blew behind him, pricking his senses furthermore. Eerie. But well, it was quite windy these days... the month now April and all. He wished he didn't go this late at night. It was after school hours and he was fortunate enough to be granted permission by Professor Hadley. He didn't want to be disturbed, you know, and at early evenings, students lurked in this area to make out, or so his informers told him. He even heard that a flock of girls go to the Observatory to form a little grapevine and gossip. And he for one loathed being disturbed whilst working on a school project.

Cedric blundered forward to the spot he deemed perfect, the spot that would give him a greater view of the sky and all. Placing the telescope up to his eye, he at once endeavored to forget all the things that were bothering him. Nevermind that cold swoosh of air, or shadows lurking in the dark, or creepy creatures watching him from a distance. On top of all that, he was a seventh year now. It was shameful of him to be scared of things that usually just scared first years. Cedric watched the sky very intently, countless of twinkling stars indulging his eyes.

Cedric became more and more engaged and indulged as he watched the stars that he almost forgot the sole purpose he had come up to the place. He carefully put down his telescope in one corner and reached for his bag, bringing out a piece of parchment and a quill. He started scribbling...

And done! He placed the parchment and quill back to his bag and slung the bag onto his shoulder. He gave the sky one last sweeping look before he left.

Seeing Dan stand and lean on the railings, she did the same. There was an awkward silence, so Elle decided to think of a topic.

What's your family like?
Where do you come from?
What are your hobbies?

Those were one of the questions she like asking people. But it didn't seem appropriate on a beautiful starry night like this.

Oh yes! We have Astronomy Assignment, don't we? Maybe...

"Hey Dan, about the Astronomy assignment... we probably should do it now. Professor may not accept late works. But if you want, we could help each other a little." The redhead looked up at him nervously.

After finding Scorpio, Salina felt significantly more confident. She put down her journal and put her eye back to the telescope, trying to find Cassieopea.

She searched for a few moments before coming to an unexpected find. She had found Bootes, the Herdsman. She had seen the beautiful double star, Epsilon Bootes and found the constellation instantly.

She levitated her notebook, caught it with her right hand and started writing.

Elle took out her quill and notebook from her bag. "Okay, let's get to work, Elizabeth Woods!"

She then got her cleaned telescope and looked through it into the beautiful night sky.

For the entire half hour she had been looking at the sky, there was no luck. She could not find any constellation, no matter how detailed Professor had described them. She put down her telescope on her lap and let it rest there while she rummaged into her bag for some hot chocolate drink. She twisted the cap of the thermos and poured some on the cup and drank.

That was refreshing! Elle resumed her assignment.

Finally, after what seemed like an hour, Elle constructed a constellation. Hercules. She quickly jotted down her observations on a draft while she was staring at the stars. No matter if the paper was messy. She could fix that later.

Hercules. At first, it was difficult to spot this constellation, because the stars were so far away from each other and I was not concentrating. Then I rememebered from class that Hercules only appeared in a clear night. So I tried connecting the dots, taking me a few long minutes to figure out which constellation it really was. Actually, I did not use my telescope much, since Hercules is easy to spot, even without help from technology. The naked eye can see so many things!

Elle wrote what she thought would help her expound later on. She then returned to searching other stars, but decided to go back to the Dorms.

Wellll, Alex was back. After reviewing his notes, he was sure he'd be able to find something else besides the Big Dipper this time. Yup. For sure. Telescope in hand, he wandered into the observatory and went to his usual window near the back and looked up at the sky. OH BOOOOO! It was cloudy out! That was going to be a pain.

He had to wait a total of FOUR PRECIOUS MINUTES before the clouds shifted and he was able to see some stars. FINALLY. He'd been waiting forever! Pulling out his telescope, he began to search the night sky until he found something that looked familiar. OOH OOH! That was...um...SOMETHING.

He looked through his notes, trying desperately not to move his hand at ALL so he wouldn't lose his place in the sky, and finally managed to figure out what it was he was looking at. That was LEO that was. He pulled out his journal and scribbled down his next entry.

The constellation I was able to identify tonight is Leo. The Leo constellation plays a very important role in Astrology, where people born under the Leo sign observe the movement of the stars to try and gain insight into their personal lives.

Satisfied with his entry, he shut his book, packed up his telescope and headed out.

Violet's grip was getting a little tighter on Selina's wrist as Elektra kept bringing up the word. She was beginning to breathe very heavily now, she could barely even hear Selina asking her to let go. Her eyes were glued to Elektra.

"Elektra, ahh, please can you stop. She's really, ugh, HURTING ME!" Selina yelled. She felt her body cringe as she tried to pull away, but Violet's hold was too strong.

Elektra couldn't help but enjoy seeing Selina in pain. She knew that if Elektra kept saying..."You know snakes aren't really that bad once you get to know them." she said laughing. "I think I should buy you a little python Vi." Elektra stopped laughing and saw Violet's look and she raised her eyebrow. "Violet....you...you look a little...you alright there?"

Selina felt Violet's grip get tighter on her wrist and Selina yelped in pain. "Seriously Elektra, she's really strong. Cut it out now or I swear to Merlin that I will get you!" The look in Selina's eyes were dark and threatening. She continued slowly and darkly, "Now... take... it... back...apologize."

Elektra started to back away...slowly. She put her hands up. "Ok, ok, ok!! Fine I take it back, but..." she sighs, "It's fun seeing Selina being tortured because she bloody deserves it!"

Violet heard Elektra FINALLY take it back. She was already immediately calming down and as soon as she had done so she let go of Selina's wrist. Soon Violet was able to see in color again and everything went back to normal as if nothing had happened.

Selina looked at Violet who was now seeming to calm down. It was such a relief on her wrist. Then she quickly turned around on her heel and looked at Elektra. She felt something grow inside her and then Selina lunged at Elektra's throat.

"What were you thinking? She was hurting me you annoying little, ugh. I'm a get you, you little SNAKE!!"

Elektra raised her eyebrow to Selina spinning on her heel to face Elektra. She chuckled a little and then she gasped and yelled backing away. "You crazy red head!! What the bloody hell!!" Elektra held her hand up to stop Selina by holding her head.

Selina pushed her head against Elektra's hand reaching out to grab at Elektra. As she was pushing her way to get to Elektra the two slowly turned their heads to look at Violet whose face was growing beat red.

"Uhh, Violet?"
