Apple in hand, K-Lee entered the muggle studies class. "Hello professor." She said. Now noticing the blanket on the front table with something under it, K-Lee's brow furrowed in thought of what could be under it.

It was large enough to be a person. And the professor looked kind of excited right now. What if it was... a person! It wasn't moving so whatever it was must have been dead... A DEAD PERSON! It all fit! He was going to murder them! And the professor wanted them to bring apples because... well the apples didn't fit into the plan.

Maybe he wasn't going to kill them. Sitting further back in the class, K-Lee made sure she had an escape plan in her head. Best to be careful...

"Something about our Treyen in a relationship?" she continued, trying not to giggle too much...

"WHAT?!" she exclaimed, pretty much mirroring Treyen's words. She may have also blushed a little. At twelve-years-old, she was barely out of the stage where she still thought boys were disgusting weirdos.

Sierra turned to Treyen with a look of half-disgust, half-shock. Did he have to act like the Head Badger's comment was the absolute worst comment in the world?! Nevertheless, she was still sort of in a state of shock from both the Badger Attack and the relationship comment, so she said nothing--for now.

Hufflepuffs were going to drive her insane...

"Treyen is not in a relationship," she snapped, turning to some Puffer Girl who'd decided this conversation was her business, as well. "Or, well...for all I know, he might be," she added, "just not with me." On that note, she gave all three an eye roll.

She just better not get into any trouble for the nonsense these Puffers were causing. She eyed the professor in the front of the room before turning back around in her seat and attempting to focus on the lesson--which would hopefully start soon.

WHAT?! Treyen turned around to face Emmy with a very evident frown on his face, "No, no one's talking about a relationship," he said, almost in a whisper. Seriously! No one was! Because Cedric didn't count as a person now. He was just an object occupying a spot on a chair.

Oh, man, why was everyone trying to get him involved in a relationship?! First, Aaron...then, Arya, sort of...then Cedric...then Emmy? AND NOW SIERRA?!

"I am not in a relationship," he said, gritting his teeth and most certainly blushing. Yes. That's why he just slouched on the chair and eyed Zookara. Yeah, he didn't want to continue with this. No. Especially since the imagine of a pretty redhead managed to appear in his mind...for a very strange reason.

"Sorry Treyen - I was only teasing! Just a bit of fun...?"
Nevertheless, she stamped down on a sudden feeling of relief when he stated he wasn't in a relationship... It sounded very much like it should've ended with a 'yet.'...

Wenzlebug 03-05-2011 11:29 AM

DENIALS. Such denials.

During his first and second year, he had a hard time finding a real girlfriend. His crushes at that time did not return his love at all. If you count Professor Bunbury a crush then don't you miss counting her. And on his fourth year he had a real girlfriend and everybody knew that. And they broke up and on his sixth year, well, he thought he found the girl he'd want to be with forever. Just to make this short and waaaay clearer: Why deny your relationship when it's something to be proud of?

A frown so clear forced its way through his broad smile and glinting eyes, climbing its way up to his forehead. And then his smile was gone. His lips quirked in the corners. He felt the urge to cover his hears as Treyen had loudly shouted... but it was Sierra's that almost made him jump from his seat. Didn't these two know that it was very undignified to shout in a class that's barely started? It could get him in a detention... for letting or making kids shout.

He managed a small smile which, at once, became a sly one. He didn't know Sierra was eavesdropping.

"Ah, you must have heard wrong, Sierra." Lying, denying... he wasn't good at that. "I was just asking Treyen about relationships--I don't remember that I mentioned your name." Cue slyly innocent smile.

Cedric was startled as another voice joined their conversation. Hmm. He turned and a Hufflepuff girl was before his eyes. And he heard Treyen tell her no one's talking about relationship here. "Well, actually we do." And then he turned to Sierra and saw that MORTIFIED look on her face. "But the other person involved isn't in this very room." Cedric smiled, a little impressed with himself. "And another thing. This is boy's talk."

And then he watched as the girl apologized to Treyen. "Yeah, Treyen, I guess, that's it." He chuckled. "Just for fun."

Felixir 03-05-2011 01:12 PM

Treyen and Sierra... HAHAHAHAHA <3

"AHEM," Jake cleared his throat from the back of the room, his peaceful daydream being interupted by a silly child discussion about some kind of relationship. Jake couldn't care less... it clearly wasn't true; Treyen was a fourth year Hufflepuff, Sierra was a first year Slytherin.

That was the only evidence you needed.

"Ced. Try not to torture the poor kids up there," Jake called over lazily.

It roughly translated to: do shut up.

Because though they were being moderately sensible (if somewhat loud) other kids would think it was okay to shout about, and Jake had a headache. NEWT studying. Cedric would understand.

As Sierra continued to stare straight forward and toward the professor, she began to narrow her eyes and cross her arms over her chest in frustration. Of course, she just happened to be looking in the professor's direction at the moment. Her expression and anger weren't directed toward him--they were both directed toward the Hufflepuff Brigade that must have decided today was the day to make her life miserable.

This very same thing was why she was leery of Puffers...

She could hear Treyen defending himself, yet she still didn't turn around. Maybe if they all thought she was ignoring them, they'd turn their attention elsewhere. Why in the name of Merlin wasn't Zookara starting the lesson?!

Her eyes rolled when the Puffer Girl asked if she couldn't tell when someone was teasing. Of course she could...but when the teasing happened to be about relationships, well that just took on a whole new outlook altogether. Still, she didn't turn around. Start the lesson, Zookara, start the lesson!

She narrowed her eyes even further when Head Badger Boy decided to feed her some story about him talking about someone else other than her. So maybe he had been, but it sure had sounded like it was all about her...and Treyen, at that! She raised her eyebrows in thought when he said the relationship he'd been talking about concerned someone else not in this room. Hmm, maybe it hadn't been about her after all...

Although she hated being referred to as 'poor kid', Jake Morgan's attempt to end the conversation was a welcome sound to Sierra's ears. She drew in a deep breath and then let it all out in a huff. Hufflepuff boys were going to drive her insane this term!

Samira Malfoy Potter 03-06-2011 03:32 AM

Samira was very uneasy about being in a Muggle Studies class. She didn't really know anything about Muggles and wasn't particularly fond of them either. Her mother, however, seemed to think it was a good idea to learn about the Muggle World. Samira was sure that she would not be interested in the least. Leaning back in her chair, she looked around for another fellow student (Slytherin or not) that she could possibly be make friends with.

"Hey Cass," she whispered.

Cass shook her head when Elle whispered something to her. "You really shouldn't be whispering in class darling." She reprimanded slightly but with a smile on her face. Inside, she was thankful that the young red head had sat down next to her. Someone to keep her company during the usually long Muggle Studies class.

Having her attention pretty much diverted from the apple situation and to the...Puffer situation, Evelyn leaned back in her seat and stared at the commotion going on. What was with the sea of yellow robes surrounding poor Sierra? Pfft.

Yet what they were talking about only made it that much worse. And funny.

Gathering her things, and the dented apple which she forgot to switch for the other one on Destiny's desk, the Slytherin girl stood up and moved over to the empty desk on Sierra's side, giving her a small smile before glancing towards Cedric as she sat down. Hmm wait, Stutters already said what she was going to say.

...

"Yea, Cedric. Go torture someone your own size like...Stutters over there." Grin.

Felixir 03-06-2011 03:12 PM

Jake actually found himself chuckling. Still with 'stutters'? That was sooooooooooo old. He hadn't stuttered in ages.

AND he was hardly Ced's side. Jake was TALL now.

BUT ANYWAY.

PEOPLE WERE STILL TALKING.

Whatever, as long as they weren't too near him, otherwise he'd be forced to shout things along the lines of 'shut up' at them. And that wouldn't go down well.

Now, actually turning the handle of the door and hoping know one heard that she successfully dropped her bag and piles upon piles of pictures scattered the front of the room. Portraits and landscapes and ground-eye views starring up into the trees, they were really quite beautiful, but definitely wrong timing.

"Good Morning Professor" she said slightly annoyed. She could have made life a little easier if she accio her photos but instinct told her to pick them up by hand.

Lucy entered the room, she was very excited to learn about muggle studies. It was always a very interesting class for her. As she entered she looked for a seat near Professor table to make sure she gets everything but anyways professor would probably move around the class so no use of that she thought.
She took a seat wherever she got one and sat. Looking around see saw there was so much happening in the class. The class was not silent. Looking around couldn't figure out what was actually happening there. Anyways she waited for the lesson to start.

"Good morning! Beautiful day, is it not?" she said as she sat down and put her bag on the table in front of them and removed her materials, taking care to pet Niamh as she did. She turned the bag towards Belle.
"Look, sweetie, there's one of your friends," she said in a singsong voice, knowing that Belle would also reach into the bag to stroke the kitten.

Belle smiled when she saw that Charley was in the class. "Hey Charley!" she said happily. She noticed Niamh in the bag and went, "Ooooh soo cute!" and petted her. She couldn't help it, it was too adorable. "Don't you think the professor would notice though, that you have an animal with you?" she asked concerned.

Charley glanced back at Professor Zookara's desk.
"I don't think he will. She's staying in my bag the whole time, so as long as we don't act like there's a kitten there, I don't think there will be any problem."
She fished two apples out of the bag, the last of her class materials, and said good-bye to little Niamh as she put her bag on the floor near her feet. She bit into one of them and surveyed the room. It seemed that most of their classmates had joined them.
She saw a student reading Much Ado About Nothing a few seats away. That's odd...I don't know many Hogwarts students that read Shakespeare......... she thought, perplexed. The only other student she knew here that liked Shakespeare as well was....
"Jaina! Over here! Come sit with us!"
Her face broke into a smile as she realised that the girl was her other best friend, and called for her to sit with her and Belle.

OOC: Guess what, I'm actually going to START this lesson. Go me. Sorry about the wait. I...erm, dropped my laptop which it wasn't too thrilled about (-> no wireless-internet connection for me). Sorry about that. So, class has now officially started. If you haven't posted yet, please don't post your character arriving late, just pretend you have been there all along.

Smiling at the entering students, Jeremy simply continued to sit, returning greetings and trying to hide a smirk when most of them stared at the thing on his desk as if he had brought along a corpse. Very amusing. Oh how they were all dying to know what was underneath it...........

I wasn't here last class, but I'm not going to give an excuse but I just wanted to let you know that I promise not to miss any more classes."

As one girl directly approached him, Jeremy straightened in his seat slightly and gave the girl a friendly smile. Elektra. "Well, I'm very happy to hear that, Elektra. Good to have you here." Even though he actually wanted to know why she had missed his first lesson he wasn't going to make a big fuss about it. She was here now after all.

After most - he hoped - of the students had taken a seat, Jeremy got up to close the door as a sign for the start of the lesson. On his way he jumped slightly at the sudden sound of two people shouting, however, turning around swiftly to see who was making those kinds of noises.

I'm not! Treyen? And Sierra? Blinking at them a couple of times, he was ready to scold them if they chose to repeat their exclamations, Jeremy finally turned back around as it didn't seem they would. He immediately was curious what they had been that almost appalled by. Hmm.

Even now, he was not going to tell them what was under the blanket right away. No, first things first. "Hello everybody. I'm glad that so many of you are here today once again." He sounded like he wanted to make a speech or something. Erm. "Anyways, I asked you to bring an apple to class today-" He paused for a moment, letting his hazel eyes wander around the classroom briefly.

"Who forgot to do that?" In the meantime he had got his wand out and was pointing it at an apple in his hand, ready to duplicate it in case it was necessary.
