This was definitely one class that she was good at. It may not be her favourite but it did rank in the top three and the Professor was pretty cool. Mia flounced into the room, smiling happily at Professor Zookara and gave him the peace sign with her fingers. "Good day Professor." She said brightly, taking a seat up the front. She eyed his desk with a curious expression. "Are we gonna be practicing on dummies again? I'm happy to give another demonstration if we are." Because apparently giving a rubber dummy a life saving kiss was fun for Mia. |

What was with the big black blanket? Intrigued, she smiled at the professor, saying, "Morning Professor Zookara!" Or 'Zooky-dooks', as one of her friends liked to call him... |

"Hello, Professor." he said as he found his normal desk in a class, in the back and in a corner. Taking out his parchment and a quill as well as the apple they were supposed to bring this time. He placed the golden-green apple on the front of his desk and got ready for class. |
Cass entered the classroom and was relieved to find that she wasn't late. Then she walked over towards the professor's table and stopped halfway when she saw the covered whatever on the table that shaped awfully like a person. "uh..Good morning, professor.." Cass greeted with a cautious smile as her blue eyes stayed on the unknown thing Then sat down on a nearby seat, both curious and excited for what was in store... |
Sauntering into the room, Patroclus spotted the Z man, and due to his rather happy mood, he grinned, before saying "Z-Z-Z-Z-Zooooooooookara!" Patroclus the rap-star..............nah! Laughing it off, the Prefect laughed before greeting the Professor properly, "Good Day Professor!" Pulling up a chair the Lion again took a mental role-check........there was a pretty good Lion turn up, but it could have been better! |
Alex was going to class and he wasn't late or anything! To say that he was proud over himself was an understatement. He strolled into the classroom with a triumphant smile, he was also actually looking forward to the class. He enjoyed muggle studies, he was lame at it. Very lame, indeed but it was interesting. And especially this year... He located the professor and flashed him a wide smile. "Good day professor Zookara." he said and inclined his head a little before he took a seat. Thank Merlin, he'd pronounced it right. He'd been forced to fight the urge to call out 'Zookararaaawr' which he wanted to. Why did he find it so funny to play with words and names? Alexander Reed was at class, in time and he was excited. Applauds are appreciated. |
Sierra hated Muggle Studies--absolutely hated it. She was a pure-blooded witch and had no intentions of ever living her life like a Muggle, so just why it was so important to learn the Muggle ways was beyond her. Her opinions, of course, had nothing to do with the professor. He seemed like a decent guy--for a person who taught such a blah subject, that is. The truth was that Sierra needed this class for more research on the Alzheimer's Potion she was working on. She figured that the more she knew about Muggles, the more successful her potion would be. She also needed the subject, apparently, to be successful in every other subject here at Hogwarts. Had they all been about Muggles so far? She thought so... She hesitantly made her way through the door and bee-lined to an empty desk. "Hello, Professor," she greeted. Other than that one line, though, Sierra remained perfectly quiet as she sank down into her desk and waited for things to get started. |
And he took his time to get to this classroom, mind him. Treyen knew he could arrive late, but for whatever reason, he seemed happy. He had his reasons, okay? Being the fact that Zookara was the Professor one of those reasons. "Excellent day, Professor!" he greeted the man. Not 'Good day', but 'Excellent', because...well, he felt like it. It had been a good day so far..now let's way to see what it is they may do here today. Oh, but he spotted his Potions' partner and walked her way. No, Treyen didn't sit next to Sierra, he took the seat behind her. Yup, she could be easily annoyed that way, no? |
Annabelle walked into the classroom and was excited for this class. "Good morning Professor Zookara!" she said cheerily. She went to take her seat in the class. |
Emmy wandered around, looking for her friends.. Aha! There's one! Young Mr Treyen Lockhart. He wouldn't mind if she sat behind him, would he? Nope, thought not! She walked past, mouthed a quick "Hi Treyen!", and plonked herself down at the desk behind. |

"Good day, Professor Zook... ara," he greeted the man who was a little half-buried... by erm, whats-that-thing-under-that-blanket? A bit surprisingly, he decided not to bother ask what that thing was, his inquisitive expression fading deliberately. He looked across the room, spotting a certain Hufflepuff kid behind a certain Slytherin kid. Hmm. Cedric walked toward Treyen and eased into the seat beside him. "Hey, Trey." And just in case Sierra would look over her shoulder, a broad, somewhat sheepish smile was waiting for her. |
Fallon hurried to Muggle Studies. She loved this class and Zookara was really super awesome. She had just reached the classroom and fixed her clothes so that they laid flat. She had run here after all, fearing that she might be late. She smiled at Zookara as she walked into the classroom. "Good morning Professor Zookara!" Fallon had made sure not to have lots of sugar today. The last lesson was kind of torture for her in that aspect. And then she spotted the thing on the table. She tried not to stare at it. Instead, she headed to grab a seat somewhere near the front. It was a much better place to pay attention from. |
SPOILER!!: Emmy And...lookit! Emmy seemed to be doing alright, no? Good. "Hey Emmy!" he said, giving the girl a smile, and hoping that she hadn't thought the same thing he did when he sat behind Sierra. SPOILER!!: Ced But, in all fairness, having a Prefect next to you was actually a very nice thing. Especially since it was the one he hadn't steal the badge from. Sigh. Where was Fletcher to help him do this? Er, Simon could help, no? "Cedric, long time no see." He gave the seventh year a nod and a small smile, while his eyes focused on the badge, the shiny badge. Aslan would like it, right? Because it was shiny. And Nifflers were attracted to that, no? |
Drat anouther snake Mikey was hopeing for a few more huffs to surround Sierria. That would be just down right funny. Trying not to get caught watching her reaction,Mikey places his bag on the desk to try and block the Chessier cat grin that was growing on his face |
Text Cut: We see you, Puffer Children! Sierra was suddenly feeling a bit twitchy for some reason. Maybe it was just because she was in Muggle Studies class, or maybe it was just because... ...where in the name of Merlin were all these Puffers coming from?! As Sierra glanced around her very immediate surroundings, she realized she was surrounded by a sea of yellow. She slowly peered just behind and noticed that her Potions partner, a Puffer, was seated directly behind her. Not only that, a Puffer Girl sat right behind him. Then of course, the Head Badger Boy was there, too--smiling at her, of all things! Just what did he want?! Then to top it all off, Micheal White was nearby, eying her like he, too, was watching and waiting for something. This is what she got for attending a Muggle Studies class... With a rather annoyed look on her face, she turned back around to face the front. She was still aware of the Badgers, though, and she was ready to strike if need be. |

"G'morning Professor!" She grinned and waved, then noticed Belle. "Hey, Belle!" She made her way over to where one of her best friends was sitting, noticing that there was an abundance of other Hufflepuffs in the class as well. "Good morning! Beautiful day, is it not?" she said as she sat down and put her bag on the table in front of them and removed her materials, taking care to pet Niamh as she did. She turned the bag towards Belle. "Look, sweetie, there's one of your friends," she said in a singsong voice, knowing that Belle would also reach into the bag to stroke the kitten. |
Was Di the only one feeling hyper? Upon entering the classroom, she was wrong. Almost everyone was cheerful, judging by the fact that they called the Professor by his last name only. "Morning, Professor!" she saluted like those muggle soldiers do. |
The trouble with Freddie Broadmoor was that he was a creature of habit, a slow burner so to speak, so it would take him a while to get used to major changes in his life. It was now March in the school year and the lad was only just beginning to feel at home at Hogwarts. Magic was coming more naturally to him now and the culture shock of the magical world has lost some of it's charge... so to speak. He had done a complete of u-turn in his opinion of the school, now wanting to savour his time here than wish it away. He wandered into the familiar Muggle Studies class, a little less tense than the last lesson and greeted Zookara with a polite nod of the head, then made a b-line for the Head Girl, slumping in the seat next to her and giving her a small smile which touched his eyes. He looked back towards the front of the room and focused on the object covered in a blanket beside the Professor. He leaned forward to get a better look, a quizzical look on his face. Even though the boy was of muggle decent, he had a feeling the class was going to be another interesting one. |
Jake was lurk-lurk-lurking at his desk in the back of the room, more or less disinterested with the black blanket at the front of the room for now he was like... busy. You know. Drawing. Interest was for actual class. Curiously, Jake had appeared to have crawled out from underneath the desk when the majority of people had entered, evidentally having entered unnoticed and slipped beneath the desk. In all truth, he'd found the desk reading 'Zan was here' on the underside and had in fact, like he had in many other classrooms, added 'so was Jake'. But like... secretly. And now he'd been drawing for the last few minutes. |

Hmm...? Treyen ogling--yes, ogling--his badge did not go unnoticed to Cedric. Maan, that was sort of... worrisome? But he'd take it in stride. "This badge is quite fetching, no?" Cue glance at his prefect badge. It was just perfect, and it wouldn't be if it weren't for him. 'Cause he was wearing it. Quote:
"Lockhart boy!" he exclaimed in deep whispers, his words barely easy to understand for he was still laughing. "I didn't know... A first year? A Slytherin? You're in a relationship with her, aren't you?" And they were having what must be relationship quarrels? |
He noticed, he NOTICED. Sierra seemed rather uncomfortable, but it wasn't his fault. Not at all. It was all those Hufflepuffs around him, and the one that was staring (why was he staring?) at her. Haha. Poor Slytherin. Soooo...she's not very fond of Hufflepuffs? Her brother IS one. Amusing. SPOILER!!: LOL Ced! Been busy? Oh, Treyen nodded, "I can only imagine," he said, after all, he was going to have OWLs next year, and NEWTs were worse, right? Haha. But he could lend him his badge and the fourth year would take on his responsibilities as a Prefect. His load will be reduced for sure. But...er, the boy was caught staring at his badge, and he made no further comments. Instead, he looked away. No comments. None. Until...why was Cedric looking at him funny? Treyen said nothing amusing. Not that he recalled, of course. Pffft. Whatever. He looked away, again. But the shaking couldn't be ignored, and so he looked at Cedric again. What did he want now? O_o Blink. Treyen was not a first year! And he certainly was NOT a Slytherin! OH! Why was he eying back and forth between him and Sierra?! "WHAT?!" sorry, Zookara, the boy lost control over his voice right there. "I'm not!" he exclaimed, eyes completely wide. |

For Cedric AND Treyen:) We're gonna have fun with this... :D Quote:
She leaned forwards, and tapped them both on the shoulder. "Aye-aye, what's going on here boys?" she asked with a cheeky twinkle in her eye. "Something about our Treyen in a relationship?" she continued, trying not to giggle too much... |
Bwah haha! Text Cut: Wenzlebug Sierra had been content to just ignore the Puffer Children and remain turned around in her seat. That is, until she overheard the Head Badger Boy make the most ridiculous accusation she'd ever heard! She spun around so fast she nearly knocked her textbook off her desk. "WHAT?!" she exclaimed, pretty much mirroring Treyen's words. She may have also blushed a little. At twelve-years-old, she was barely out of the stage where she still thought boys were disgusting weirdos. Text Cut: Lockhartian Sierra turned to Treyen with a look of half-disgust, half-shock. Did he have to act like the Head Badger's comment was the absolute worst comment in the world?! Nevertheless, she was still sort of in a state of shock from both the Badger Attack and the relationship comment, so she said nothing--for now. Hufflepuffs were going to drive her insane... Text Cut: tonks2 "Treyen is not in a relationship," she snapped, turning to some Puffer Girl who'd decided this conversation was her business, as well. "Or, well...for all I know, he might be," she added, "just not with me." On that note, she gave all three an eye roll. She just better not get into any trouble for the nonsense these Puffers were causing. She eyed the professor in the front of the room before turning back around in her seat and attempting to focus on the lesson--which would hopefully start soon. |

The redhead sat beside her friend, Cass and took out her stuff. Notebook, textbook and quill. "Hey Cass," she whispered. |
