"....who?" Twins? Twins were really strange. Neptune was so glad she wasn't one. Imagine having to ALWAYS share ALL the attention? Thank Merlin for small favors. But Dale Neptune was looking forward to seeing. They were going to get a few straights, Neptune and Dale. He would behave and not embarrass her and keep her in touch with Jake. Them's were the rules, So Says Neptune.

EXCEPT when he pounced on you from great heights. That wasn't very cute.

She didn't say that though.
"You mean.... that's so far away.... you... do you really mean that? What if I fail entirely as a girlfriend?" Let's face it - entirely plausible. She wasn't all that good at it with Jake THERE, Merlin only knew how she'd screw up when he wasn't around. "You ...sure about that?" really?

Jake leaned back slightly so his head was against the window again and he smiled gently. Jake's faith in her.... well.... it was something. One of the things that made Jake SO different from most. He made her feel like she COULD be good at this whole.... thing. Not that she was, but she COULD be.
"I do like to make plans," Neptune grinned. "It's a deal. Come what may, me and you and France. And maybe that cat." Neptune giggled and POUNCED on Jake. He deserved a few kisses for all the happy he'd made her at Hogwarts, and she was going to TAKE kisses to keep with her while he went and bonded with DRAGONS.
