He pouted slightly before he smiled widely at her. "That's alright." he shrugged happy that she had gotten to see her family before her time at Hogwarts. "What did you do then?" he asked curiously. "I mean beside missing me."

Huh, she thought that was boring whether Alex would have found that hilarious. Just running around chasing sheep, whoa he sounded positively insane right then. "But sheep are cute." he laughed. Not that he had actually met any in real life but he had seen photos! Oh yes he had.

"What year are you in then?" he asked she looked slightly older than him. Fourth year perhaps fifth?

Maybe he should've brought that quidditch magazine with him. The one that he'd brought from the shop that he actually wasn't banned from in Diagon Alley. It was at the bottom of his trunk now, and definetly not in reaching distance. Which was rather disappointing, especially if she wasn't going to talk at all. Maybe choosing her to talk to her hadn't been such a great idea. Ahh well.

Evelyn. That was a unique name. Like Neptune. It was pretty though, like her. Finlay liked it. It wasn't that bad. But it did look like she was going to talk a bit more, which Finn approved off, because he was getting a little bored really. "I sail...." Because he was so cool like that. "And play quidditch." It was a bit weird how he was tryin gto keep his words low in number. He also enjoyedd snogging girls. Although he didn't think she'd appreciate him telling her that. so he decided against telling her.

Forget quidditch, that was much more interesting, even if she herself wasn't all that fond of sailing. Evelyn had developed quite a curious nature about the muggle world and what they did. It was tough enough to sail across the the lake at school, so, she was curious to know why he enjoyed it. "Sailing? Like...across the ocean? Without magic?" She had been to the beach once, and that...was so much more water than the lake at Hogwarts.

Leaning forward, she placed her hands on her knee, rather interested with the topic now, yet keeping her elbow out to the side to refrain Poof from moving forward. "Why?"

"Oh, yes, please. I would really appreciate that. I'm a little afraid to make all these discoveries on my own." Assuming that there really were great discoveries to be had. Adam began to stir and then his eyes also fluttered open. Still, Kurumi did not feel like removing her head from his shoulder. Just a few more minutes...

Eino was jealous of how easily everyone could fall asleep. The combination of excitement and fear would not permit him to fall asleep. Plus, he needed to have a good night's rest when he arrived at Hogwarts for the first day of classes. There would be the feast, sorting ceremony, announcements, and then bed. Eino looked to his right and to his left and it seemed like everyone had fallen asleep. He pulled out his wand out of his pocket and pointed it at Fautus. "Aguamenti." He whispered not to wake anyone up and a smell stream of water flowed from the wand onto the cactus, who received it by happily shaking itself as though it were dancing. Then Eino put his wand away and sat the pot on his lap.

Ignoring the rising pain in his toe, Maxim furrowed his brows when he hurried after the girl. He had no plans of eavesdropping their conversation but the words just wafted into his ears, and a particular expression really tickled his funny bone. Slipping his hands into the pocket of his jeans, Maxim inched towards the duo.

This girl was a snob or perhaps, a know-it-all and the moment she started to spill out facts about how intelligent owls were, it only substantiated his earlier assessment. "Thank you for sharing that!" He remarked and he bowed his head before her, trying hard to hold back the smile that was threatening to emerge. He wasn't attempting to bug her but the behold-the-clumsy-clown look she had given him after his stumble only added fuel to the fire.

"They don't like me either," Dallin said with a shrug, looking down at the cage that held Barty. Which he really didn't understand. His sister's give the poor thing an embarrassing name and act like it's a girly owl, and it loves them. But Dallin was sure that Barty tried his hardest to be annoying.

Dallin bit his lower lip, sliding his hands into his pockets at Maxim's comment. He glanced at the girl to see what she'd do, frowning. She was only sticking up for the bird... "Sooo..." Dal said, whistling slightly. He could practically feel the awkward that that one word created. "Any of you have a compartment? Maybe we should find one, since... we don't..." Riiight.

At the moment, he didn't know if sharing a compartment with these two was the smartest idea. But they could always say no... and Dal really didn't want to spend the whole train ride by himself.

Kurumi had to lift her head up for this portion. Nodding her head slowly, Kurumi found herself confused and over thinking what Adam could possibly want to tell her. Did he have a year's supply of broom wax but no idea how to use it? No, there was something more exciting lying there behind his eyes. "So, the broom cupboard?" she suggested with a small giggle.

I looked around and saw that girl Willow from Ollivanders, the one that fainted. I looked at Katelynn and asked "Is it okay if we invite Willow in, she doesnt have anyone to talk to as well. She's muggleborn like me."

Feed it?! Now Kurumi was intrigued. It was going to be like a Herbology class without the green house - or all that puss they had to drain last term. "What does he eat?" "Glad to be back at Hogwarts though," she said with a little nod of her head.

Not that Harley liked being on her own or anything but she didn't wanna interuppt on others conversations. So the redhead found herself a empty compartment and slid the door open before taking a seat inside. A seat near the window because small rooms made her feel claustraphobic, windows always helped, Well so she thought anyways. She cuddled Monster in her arms, squishing the little kitty before beginning to gently kick her legs backwards and forwards.

Robin jumped off his owner once more and crawled over the boy's legs, sniffing at his trouser pockets, as if there was something of value in them. Greer absently clutched Prince Eric the Crup closer to her chest, and as response the creature growled lowly, looking at its owners companions through narrowed eyes. The young Gryffindor patted Prince Eric's furry head, and watched with some detachment as everyone exchanged hellos and all those pleasantries.

When Lulu addressed to her, McKensie shifted her brown eyes to her friend, and stared at the finger being pointed at her, growing a little cross-eyed. "No, but he claims to be part alien, and aliens don't really make good pets, from what I hear," Greer answered cheerfully, and fixing her stare on the boy. "If you are part alien, how come you are not green? And where are your other eyes? Aliens have six eyes! Are you lying to me?" Gasp! The blonde raised one of her thin eyebrows at him, inquiringly.

"Janie!" Greer half-scolded, half-giggled at her friend. "Legend is a good friend, and servant of ours," She explained, nodding her head vigorously. "He's older, too, and owns a half-goblin that goes by the name of Jude Second Year Ravenclaw. Cool, eh?"

Not that Harley liked being on her own or anything but she didn't wanna interuppt on others conversations. So the redhead found herself a empty compartment and slid the door open before taking a seat inside. A seat near the window because small rooms made her feel claustraphobic, windows always helped, Well so she thought anyways. She cuddled Monster in her arms, squishing the little kitty before beginning to gently kick her legs backwards and forwards.

Aimée wandered away from the food trolley, shoving her sickles and change back into her pocket as she walked slowly up the train. Looking from side to side, into the compartments, she paused every so often, thinking she'd seen an empty one, and then it turned out it was occupied. She sighed, until halfway up the train, towards the middle compartments, she noticed a familiar red head. Harley.

Sliding open the compart door a little, she poked her head inside. "'Ello 'Arley," she muttered in her French accent to her first friend. "D'you mind if I join you?" she asked hesitantly, nodding towards the empty seat.

Lulu had no idea where Greer had gotten her visual of aliens but they certainly were distinct from her own. The boy didn't appear alien but that was just as dangerous. Aliens were known to be highly intelligent beings and assuming a rather benevolent appearance would benefit them in their evil ways.

The boy, however, didn't seem to be a highly intelligent being. Another one who didn't seem to be highly intelligent was Greer McKensie. "I wouldn't say friend," grumbled Lulu with raised brows. "I was trying to make him my business partner but he drives a hard bargain."

Unfair, too.

Nerida walked and walked she really shouldnt have woken up late. This would be her first year and it would be great! She finally found a compartment and when she tried to open it it didnt open then she relized you had to pull the handle to the side.She hoped no one saw. She walked in and sat down and wondered what was to come...

He chuckled at her question. "No, no more burned pool houses. My mom would have a fit if we burned down the new one." he explained. His mom was still upset about the first pool house.

He slid his arm around her shoulders. "It was a right nob that your mom wouldn't let you come to the Canary Islands with us. It was a lot of fun." he told her. And he had been upset that she couldn't go but since it was a kid's vacation and all his friends had been invited he had went though at first he didn't want to go. "She didn't take the news of the promise ring very well did she?" he asked. His owls had been returned unopened and that upset him that her mother wouldn't let them communicate.

Selena grinned, happy that he knew what he was going to do. Ah, she wished she was graduating too, but sadly she wasn't. Sigh. "Really? So, how's the candy development going? I remember back in my first year you had gottenthe candies to allow canaries fly out of people's mouths?" she asked. She remembered that one incident in Charms with the whole canary thing, it had been quite funny. She giggled at the next part about the pool house. "Well, who knows, maybe a new dragon will come along and burn it down," she teased, if they forgot to stun it again that is.

She had wanted to go with Diggy and the rest to the Canary Islands, she truly did but her mother made sure she couldn't go. "Not very well," Selena admitted quietly as the silver band gleamed on her finger. Her mother had threatened to disown her even but after a whole load of reasoning from her cousin she had managed to get off. Still, she had felt terrible. "My mother took away my owl and everything too, made sure I couldn't owl people," she added, which would probably explain why she hadn't seen any owls for her. At times like these, Selena hated her mother with a passion. Where others had been happy for her, her mother disapproved of it greatly.

"She actually didn't want me coming back to Hogwarts this year..." Selena said quietly, but her uncle had helped to make sure that she was able to come back. Sometimes you hated your family, but sometimes there were those select few who were always willing to help. Her father too had been quite outraged when he heard the news as well as her stepfather.

"Salander!" Kurumi blushed scooting over a bit so he could sit down. "Sure, there is still plenty of room." Which was kind of a lie as she had now scooted herself so close to Adam that she was almost sitting on half of his thigh. "Do you want a cookie? I still have some left," she asked offering him the blue box of pumpkin cookies.
