Skirting around the wall of the enchanted Marque, are a number of small tables. Set back a little from the communal dance floor, and away from the parade grounds, these tables have gorgeous views out onto the snowy landscape, across the lake and all the way to the beautifully lit castle upon the cliff. Here one can watch the Whirling Tea Cups, and the Sleigh Rides.

Decked out in the same Period appropriate furniture, these tables are a nice spot, to chat with friends away from the frivolity and jollification of the Upper tables; a quieter place to sit with a cup of tea and a scone and just enjoy the ambience of the night.

So grab that tea cup, select that scone, stick out your pinky finger and enjoy; this night is for you!

"Boring?!" Straightening up she shook her head enthusiastically. "No, no. It's huuuuge." Her hands involuntary came up and she opened her arms wide, to illustrate size. "And there's sooo many different parts. Like the Animal kingdom and the Magic Kingdom." She'd grown up in Florida and she still hadn't seen the entire place. Maybe she could convince her family to go for this next summer. That'd be fun.

But thoughts of muggle roller coasters and funnel cake flew away as Evan's rushed words came forward. Grinning, Ivory looked him over. A football player?
Eyes dancing in mirth, she wiped her lips with her napkin to make sure any stray crumbs weren't still there. "I'm sure you would've been a good one." She offered. He probably still could if he wanted to. He'd be starting out a little late in the game but she was sure he'd be able to catch up.

In fact she was just about to say so when she found herself choking on a sip of her sparkling lemonade.

Metamorphmagus?! How had he known????!?!?!? Face reddening, she ducked her head down a bit as she brought up a hand to her throat.

Coughing into her napkin for a minute, her mind whirled as she fought to keep down a reaction that'd give her away. THinking over his words, she realized it was just a question. Just a regular get to know you question. Completely regular with no hidden intentions whatsoever, right?

Gulping in some air, she waved her hand a bit to let him know she was okay. "Sorry went down the wrong way." Smiling apologetically, she started breathing more easily as she realized her secret was still hers.

Fiddling with her napkin, she tried to answer honestly."If I had a choice..." Or better yet if she "had" had a choice. "I think I be an animagus." Grinning, she gestured to outside the marquee. "I'd love to an owl or something with wings. Flying without charms or brooms...the idea appeals to me." And it did it really did. She would much rather have been an animagus than an underdeveloped metamorphmagus, but that was neither here nor there. She had a tight control and only two people in the entire school knew. Two people whom she was sure would never tell, so for now at least she was safe.

Jamie smiled. "Well I can't wait for it if they do." She watched as another person came up and greeted Cass and she stood. "I think I'll leave you two to talk. I heard there is a lovely placed where you can go on a sleigh ride." With that she curtsied to them both and left.

Laughing a little at the enthusiastic reaction he got from Ivory, Evan waved his hand as if to accept defeat. "Okay, maybe it's big, I don't know," he said. And it was big, judging by her... dempnstration. "But still... thirty days and riding the same... things... roll-carts. Not my type." Nope, if he was given a chance, he would go to some place exotic. Like Spain, where he could get more football! Heck, he could even meet some of the Madridistas... *sigh*

Looking at her, he bit his lips in deep regret. Yeah, he could have been one of the best. He could be a legend. Well, he still could. But his chances were low, even with his pace of training. Because football was a team-game, and coaches had always approached players without a proper 'team-training' with prejudice.

Then Ivory nearly died on her lemonade and he got up in panic, not sure what he should be doing. "IVORY!" he exclaimed, looking around frantically for something that would help. Was that spell oppugno? Or was it something else? He drew his wand nevertheless, because she was getting redder and redder and it would be a TRAGEDY if she died there! "Breath from your nose!" he said and while he was having a mental fight whether to help with his wand or not, she was breathing with ease again. Thank Merlin.

"You fine now?" he asked, despite her sign, to make sure she really was. Looking at her for a minute with deep concern, he was finally satisfied that she was alright. Then did he sit down, eyes still on her and wand in hand, though.

"Oh, me too," he said with a smile, re-holstering his wand at last. "I mean, I'd be an eagle but yeah... same idea." They still could be. It just took a lot of dedication and hard work, and he didn't have time for that for the time being. But once he reached the club of his dreams... he'd work on it. He was yet to figure out what good it would make to be animagus then, totally intertwined with Muggles, but he would be, if he were to make his dreams come true.

Then, glancing at her one last time, he started thinking about what he should ask next. Then it occured to him that she hadn't asked him a question. Waiting with a smile, then.

"Not half as brilliant as you," the Ravenclaw answered with a smile. "You look amazing." And she really did. But then, Trixie always looked amazing, at least in Vashti's opinion.

Not far from Vashti was Victoria, who was staring at her menu as well to find something sweet to eat. She didn't know which one to choose, finding all the choices delicious.

Looking up from her menu, Vashti noticed a familiar face that she hadn't seen in what felt like a long time. "Victoria!" she exclaimed, jumping to her feet and rushing with a smile over to her friend. "Hey! How are you?" she asked as she reached the third year.

Seeing Victoria jump, Vashti smiled sheepishly. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." She took the seat next to her fellow Ravenclaw and continued, "I've been alright. Though I feel like I haven't seen you in ages. What've you been up to?"

As she glanced out of the tent to the grounds, an idea struck her. She turned back to Victoria and asked, "Are you ordering anything now? Because if not..." She glanced outside once more.

Vashti chuckled. "Spoken like a true Ravenclaw," she teased. Then, after casting a third glance outside, she suggested, "They've got these giant tea cups gliding around on the frozen lake that I've been meaning to ride. You want to?" They looked like a lot of fun to Vashti, but she didn't want to ride them by herself. They wouldn't be much fun then.

She smiled upon hearing that before she nodded. "Sure, that sounds like fun." Then, she stood up from her chair. After all, she came to the tea party for relaxation, and riding tea cups over the lake seemed to fit the profile.

Victoria smiled before she followed her. She regretted having put alot of time in her studying, as it made her push Vashti away. But now she was going to change that by having fun this time.

Cass looked up and saw Brodie standing behind her. She had missed him, she didn't know if it was because they were both too busy with school, or he was avoiding her...but she hadn't seen a lot of him around...not after their trip to Hogsmeade...and that didn't go as planned.

Cass blinked for a few times, digesting what Brodie had just said...she was in shock, yes. But she was also confused. Very confused..

"I-.." She started to say as her hand flew to one of the charms on her charm bracelet that she often held when she felt confused...

She really, really liked Brodie. She was sure of that...but she didn't know what to do...

So she took a deep breath and said in a soft voice "Could...could you give me time to think?" She needed to confide in Fee...she needed her bestie BADLY.

Then she turned her eyes back up towards Brodie and said "And we need to talk"

She was hoping he was with that girl they talked about before, the one where they were 'friends for now' so that she could finally meet her...
