Elliott strolled on over to the lower tables. La de daaa. This tea party was more fun than he had expected, especially that maze thing! Mhmm, that was awesome. Even if the squeaky voice he attained after shrinking did freak him out quite a bit. The boy found an empty table and sat down by himself, not really minding that he had no one to talk to at the moment. Sometimes it was nice to just observe everyone else. People-watch, so to speak.

So Cassie came, not because she was particularly enthused about going to a tea party and donning a frumpy outfit, ok well hers wasn't at all frumpy, she made a freaking awesome Lady Macbeth but it was still old looking. Anyways, she had looked around enough and just wanted to sit now and rest her feet for a while. Even though her dress made a train behind her and completely covered her legs she still wore high heels under it out of habit.

Thinking she was probably going to have to find El to have some fun, she headed over to the seating area. She figured she could go find him after resting up a bit, but then she spotted his familiar face at the table and plopped down infront of him." I made it and you are NOT allowed to laugh at me or I'll hex you into next never, but then I look fabulous so you have no reason to." Cassie flipped her hair over her shoulder and eyed him." so what are you suppose to be? She looked him over a few times but couldn't make up her mind.

Evan raised his other fork-holding hand to reach out and take off his peasant hood, but then remembered he was holding a fork of his height. It wasn't probably wise to do anything with that hand, and since other one was with Ivory...

Smiling at the professors with his hood on, he greeted them with a warm "Hello." He really hoped they liked this. Then, leaning the fork to the table, he let his hood off and hurried to pull her chair for her. See, being a total gentleman for being a good date and for some certain people... especially a specific girl of Gryffindor, who didn't seem to be around. Hmpf. Better.

Then, sitting down himself, he looked at the menu, and then eyed Ivory. "What will you have?" he asked.

"Ah, King Henry the Eigth." Yes, repeat the words and they'll be easier to remember! "Good choice, Senñor." Hehe.

And her?
"Oh, something I found in a store...it seemed appropriate so I went with it." No need to tell him that she had to ask the shopassistant for help, because this English History business she was not sure of. Well, atleast not tell him infront of the Merry Sisters here.

Oh my word.

Maya's lips started to stretch into an amused smile, she had no idea what was going on, but surely there was something more exciting going on anywhere else.
That 'thank you' didn't help.

Escort? Hm, so soon?
"Actually... As fun as it's been not talking to you ladies, I think I will go see if anyone actually has something exciting to tell!" She smiled at them all quite happily.

Walking off away from the two women, she stopped next to the Groundskeeper. "Thankyou for the kind offer, Mister Stryker, but I think I shall join you a little later." If he wanted to join her, he was more than welcome to.

She gave him a wink and then continued on her way to the other side of the fesitivities area.

"Afternoon." She said to the girl.

"Well, it's lovely." She told the woman.

She turned to him and looked at Kimber. "Actually I believe that's White, not Blonde. The way Marie Antoinette would wear?" He actually said to her she was in her own different world? "Don't trouble yourself. I'm fine where I am." She said.

... ok.

That's the last time she was being nice to anyone.

Elliott's eyes trailed about the room, stopping on groups of friends or couples momentarily before moving on to the next students. The people-watching was quite entertaining and it required absolutely no effort. He even had a nice little cup of tea to go with it, making it all the more relaxing.

Until someone disturbed the peace.

But the Gryffindor didn't mind an addition to the table. Now he had someone to talk to, and perhaps it was someone else's turn to people-watch his own interactions. Not to be mistaken with 'creeping. And he smiled when he looked up to the face of the newcomer. "I had no intention of making fun of anything," he defended genially. Everyone looked pretty abnormal tonight. "Although the dress looks good, whether it's old-fashioned or not." Who was he supposed to be? Erm.. "Well, no one in particular. Just an guy in an old English outfit, I suppose." He raised his fist and knocked on the black hat he was wearing, just for kicks. "Who are you supposed to be?"

Yeah so Elliott was weird. Cassie knew this of course but he was at least a hot weirdo, so his sins were forgiven. Plus he now belonged to her for the rest of the evening, which she was sure he wouldn't mind. His smile at seeing her was proof enough of that."Sure you weren't El and I'm the queen of England, scratch that, I might as well be." She smirked at him and settled into the seat more comfortably."Thank you. I went for something that wouldn't have me looking like an over grown cabbage." She looked around at the other girls in their large dresses.

Cassie snorted when Elliott told her what he was or well...wasnt? Well she supposed he pulled of the look alright. Men's clothing hadn't changed that much except for the style had anyways. They at least had enough fashion sense to cut out top hats and the sorts."It's not a bad look for you." She winked at him."So what have you been up to?"

"If you're the queen of England, where's your crown?" 'Cause you needed to have a crown to be a queen. It was just fact. He grinned at her statement about girls and their overgrown cabbage dresses. "They are pretty sizable, but at least they're staying true to the costume theme.." Right? It must have been awfully hard moving around in those dresses - it looked like they weighed a ton!

She took the seat beside him and he made a little more room for her, even thought she didn't have one of the cabbage dresses. "Thanks." Elliott didn't really mind dressing up, whether it be in an old-fashioned suit or a modern one. He gave a shrug and answered her next question. "Not too much, just enjoying the.. tea party. You should try out the maze - it was so much fun!"

"I suppose," Kurumi said looking down at her cat who had not turned his attention to his boot strings. "Thank you for your time and enjoy the party," Kurumi smiled bowing again. "You look lovely as well." Then again, Professor Saylen always looked so.

"Thank you. I hope you enjoy yourself as well," Kurumi smiled back. Walnut managed to get a hold of one of his boot strings and was now chewing on it. Well, at least it wasn't the feather. If he swallowed bits of that he would be coughing up hairballs all over the place.

"I like all animals...for the most part. Cockroaches really scare me..." she said shivering slightly. "I don't think I know anyone that actually likes them though. I bought a box of Cockroach Clusters over the summer hoping I could turn them into some sort of cookie...but...I am too afraid to open the box." What if they came scurrying out?!

Kurumi knew this was going to happen, she was just surprised that it hadn't earlier. Her dress was massive enough that if there was a strong enough wind she would probably be blown halfway across the grounds - and probably take a few of the tables with her.

Already bowing in apology, Kurumi looked up and the expression of horror changed to a smile when she saw Selina. At least it wasn't Cookie!Hater...her head probably would be rolling around on the ground somewhere by now.

"Selina! Hello," Kurumi said stopping herself midbow and Walnut still chewing on his boot lace. "T-T-Thank you," she blushed. "It is actually from one of my favorite musicals. The story is very tragic, but I find it very beautiful at the same time."

Patroclus couldn't help but grin, not listening to what she had said, he still took the brownie, the brownie that he had been admant about with the house evles to get right for Destiny the party.

As he stood there with the brownie sorta melting in his hands, he just smiled like some idiot, but he finally found his tongue when the feeling in his hand began a little too much, "Gosh this is sticky!" With a flick of his wand, Patroclus summoned a plate as well as a servette. Wipping his hands he placed the brownie on the plate, "It will be easier to carry that way, plus you will want to get some of the profiterols....they had chocolate inside as well as cream....." There was quite a bit of chocolate involved in his menu........no reason why....


You look amazing. he sort of whispered, due to the newness of the feelings he was experiencing.......he was still just a big kid, maybe that was why he felt so right with Destiny....

"Wanna take the chocolate into the Maze?.....it's pretty awesome!"

Cass entered the marquee with her heels clicking with each step that she took. Then she stopped by the entrance and looked around for anyone she knew...

Destiny was completely oblivious to the fact that Patroclus wasn't paying attention to what she was saying. She only had one thing on her mind and that was to collect as much chocolate as she could and then find a place to hide. Okay, so maybe she had two things on her mind.

She was reaching out to grab a few more brownies to shove in the Perfect Prefect's hand, when what he said stopped her and she couldn't help but laugh. "It's chocolate. It's supposed to be sticky." It was still good and she was going to..use a plate. She..hadn't thought about that. Mentally slapping herself, she placed a few more brownies on the plate and turned her attention to those fancy profiteroles he had mentioned.

How in the world did she miss those!?

"Can't I just take the whole tray of them?" He was a Prefect. He organized the tea party. He should let her take them! There was a pout forming as she turned back to Patroclus, but his whispered words had her smiling and blushing like crazy. Of course she heard what he said! Destiny Shepard hears all, sees all, and knows..random animal facts.

"I like your shoes." she whispered back, not quite sure what to say, but telling him she liked his shoes was much better than telling him that his bottoms looked like they were stuffed with mounds toilet paper.

Forgetting that she had wanted to go and hide, she placed a few more brownies on the plate and nodded her head. Yes, go outside so there would be a reason for her face to be so red. "Yeah, the maze. Don't forget the profiteroles!"

Smiling cheerily at the Professor, Ivory inclined her head. "I hope everything is to your liking, Professor Lafay?" She asked politely. It just wouldn't do for the Professor Lafay, perhaps the hardest to please, to not approve of it all.

A little grin quirked up her smile as she watched Evan settle his farming fork against the table. It really was the coup de grâce to his costume, although in her head for the time of the tea party, he really was a lord in disguise and the fork was merely his weapon of choice for the moment. Yup, it was the only explanation for how he could be so gentlemanly while dressed so.

He'd even pulled out her chair. Smiling in impressed gratitude, Ivory daintily picked up the corner folds of her dress and eased herself down as gracefully as she could into the chair glad that she'd refrained from the heavy petticoats. Sitting down in them would have been a challenge that was for sure.

Her bright eyes scanning the menu from beneath thick lashes, Ivory pursed her lips in thought. Everything sounded sooo good. " It all sounds very appetizing!"

Her stomach out of its own violation let out a not so lady like hungry growl. Her eyes widened for a second and her hand automatically came up to her stomach as if the action alone could block the already heard sound. Realizing it was hopeless since he'd probably already heard, Ivory let out a self deprecating giggle. "I believe my stomach is trying to tell me something" A very loud something. "It would seem I'm hungrier than I thought."

Hopefully, he wouldn't think less of her. She was totally not one of those girls who was going to pretend she never ate or ever got hungry in front of guys. She liked eating and accepted it as part of daily life thank you very much and she was so not ashamed of it like a few girls she could think of.

Letting her index finger swirl randomly on the menu, she pinpointed something at random. "I think I'll go with Potato skins with brie cheese aaaand" A small glance at the available drinks quickly decided for her. "Some sparkling lemonade."

Kimber rolled her eyes again but couldn't quite stiffle a laugh. The man had issues. Heh. "Thank you," she said, reaching up to push a stray bobby pin back into place. She thought the color looked horrid with her skin tone but he was entitled to his opinion. "This costume is fantastic, Chad," she said, brushing off a bit of fuzz from his sleeve. She leaned in closer so that only he could hear and added, "Though you might want to reconsider sticking your tongue out at ladies if you're aiming to pass off the whole royalty bit," she teased. Yeah, she'd seen it.

"Yes, the staff table is probably best." How else would Jeremy find her amongst all of these people. Pushing herself back from the table, Kimber stood up beside him.

When she heard Maya's RUDE comment, she looked over to offer the snarky professor her own 'Whatever' look and then took Chad's arm. Some people had NO class.

"Musical? Why would you like a music hall? Is it a particularly beautiful hall?". Sometimes Selina did not understand why Muggle raised Wizards liked odd things. A musical hall was odd to be tragic. She could understand beautiful, but tragic?

Moving away from the odd topic Selina saw Walnut. "Hey there, buddy. Don't you look just so adorable?". Selina really wanted a cat, but her father thought that an owl and a Pygmy Puff was enough.

Evan inclined his head slightly forward to see the Professor Lafay's reaction. If they had managed to impress her, then it was likely everyone was enjoying their party.

He grinned to himself when Ivory seemed to be impressed. He knew pulling the chair of a girl always did the trick. He had to thank his father teaching him these kind of small courtesy rules. He took a quick glance around again, to see if Sophie was there. But yeah, she was probably off with that jerk in sleigh rides, or even worse, in the maze. Hmpf. But he wouldn't care, because he was here with Ivory.

Letting out a small chuckle as her stomach growled, he pressed a hand on his to avoid any unwanted sounds coming there. He wasn't that hungry though. He had had a big piece chocolate to keep his mind sharp. And he decided to go with sweets again.

"And I'll have strawberry vanilla cheesecake with butterbeer." Yeah, a butterbeer was all he needed.

Kurumi had one of those giant invisible question marks appear over her head. Why was Selina talking about a music hall? Kurumi realized that she was probably looking at the girl with her jaw down to her knees and she quickly put her hands to her cheeks.

"Selina...I think we are talking about two different things," she said gently playing with her hair for a moment and getting a strand stuck on one of the several crystal stars in her hair. "I'm not talking about a place...I'm talking about musical theatre. It's a form of theatre combining music, songs, spoken dialogue and dance." She looked at Selina through her beat red face and hoped that she was following. Now would be a good time for Selina's abilities to kick in and perhaps have some sort of vision containing one.

Selina looked oddly at Kurumi. She was sure that the little Asian's jaw was as far down as humanly possible before it ripped completely off, "Attractive look there Kurumi." Selina joked. Then the older student seemed to fix her jaw and explain the riff in their gap of communication.

"Wait, wait... let me see if I get this straight. A music-al is not a place. I swore you said music hall. Anyways I'm not really sure what a Musical..." But Kurumi had already answered her question before Selina had the chance to be curious. It was as if Kurumi was the one who saw the future, not Selina.

"Okay. That sounds... well to be honest it sounds weird. People pretend to be other people and sing about it and dance about it? That sounds absurd."

Chad wrapped an arm around her waist when she leaned in to whisper in his head, He couldn't help but grin at her teasing, though he was slightly ashamed that he had been caught. "Ah, well. You can not blame a man for trying."

He removed his arm from her waist and allowed her to take it; he started to lead her away to the staff table. "You guys seem to be getting along just beautifully," he grinned.

"I'd love to take you to see one!" Kurumi chirped clapping her hands together. "Musicals are perhaps my favorite thing next to baking." Although, she had never envisioned herself on stage performing but rather down with the rest of the orchestra.

Kurumi had forgotten for a moment that Selina grew up in a pureblood family and that something as common as a musical was foreign to her.

"I am not sure what I can compare them to in the wizarding world...but they are brilliant. People are transformed as if by magic, but everything is costumes and makeup! You can be transported to lands far away!"

"But wait, I'm confused. I know that Muggles don't have floo. But if they want to transport somewhere why don't they just take an aeroplane? I mean why would they want to sit and watch a musical. Shouldn't they go out in the world and experience what people are pretending on stage?"

Maybe she had the whole concept of the Musical wrong. Maybe she was just getting it because she was not used to the idea of it. Kurumi really loved them so they could not be so bad. But growing up with a Mixed Blood father and a Half Blood mother meant that she dealt strictly with the Magical World. Sometimes things outside of that world was foreign to her.

"I would love to go with you. Maybe then I'll understand what the whole deal is with this Musical thing. So what is your favorite Musical?"

Kurumi had clearly opened up a can of worms with Selina. It reminded her of her first day at Hogwarts and how she had fallen off her seat in the Great Hall when the feast had appeared out of thin air. Not to mention when she had later jumped on the table after Cam had charmed her lion shapped cookie to dance and roar.

"Well, we don't literally go somewhere, just to a big building where the stage is..." Kurumi was beginning to wish she had brought a programme with her so she could show Selina. "I'll owl my family and ask them to send some pictures to better explain what I am talking about." Granted, those pictures wouldn't be moving ones, but it would probably help her understand better.

"My favorite? Wow, there are so many...Elisabeth is my favorite," she blushed looking down at her dress. "It portrays the life and death of the Empress consort of Austria, Elisabeth of Bavaria...but there is a twist as at a young age, she experiences her first encounter with Death, a dashing handsome young man, which launches a love-hate affair that will span her entire life."

"That does sound interesting." Selina commented on the whole ordeal. Perhaps she would like this Musical business.

The way Kurumi described her favorite show sounded much like a book. Maybe that's what the Musicals were, books on stage. It was like an imagination in plain sight.

"I think I may get it... kind of... maybe. Okay how about this? You take me to one of your Musical things and teach me all about it and I will take you to the Quidditch Cup this summer and teach you all about Quidditch?"

"Sounds like the perfect way to spend the holidays," Kurumi nodded.

Kurumi smiled, but at the same time her mind began to wander into thoughts about what this summer really meant. It meant that Adam was going to Mexico and she wouldn't be seeing him again for a long time. Kurumi swallowed back the pain, for now, and tried to turn her thoughts to Quidditch.

"Speaking of Quidditch! Congratulations on making the team! I don't believe I ever congratulated you properly."

Selina saw Kurumi's face fall at the mention of summer. Adam was leaving in the summer and she knew for a fact that Kurumi was not taking it well. She was going to miss him like crazy and Selina was hoping Kurumi would let Selina help her through it. But then Kurumi moved back to the topic at hand and Selina could not help but laugh, "Kurumi a little late. We are already halfway through the season." And what a great season it had been thus far.
