Skirting around the wall of the enchanted Marque, are a number of small tables. Set back a little from the communal dance floor, and away from the parade grounds, these tables have gorgeous views out onto the snowy landscape, across the lake and all the way to the beautifully lit castle upon the cliff. Here one can watch the Whirling Tea Cups, and the Sleigh Rides.

Decked out in the same Period appropriate furniture, these tables are a nice spot, to chat with friends away from the frivolity and jollification of the Upper tables; a quieter place to sit with a cup of tea and a scone and just enjoy the ambience of the night.

So grab that tea cup, select that scone, stick out your pinky finger and enjoy; this night is for you!

Smoothing down her skirt a little bit she grinned lopsidedly as she watched the passing sleigh ride. She'd totally have to try that later.

Nodding a bit to Evan, Ivory let her eyes sweep over the tables. They all looked so nice, how to choose one. "Any which place would be fine, kind sir. I trust your judgement." And she did, since odds were he knew quite a few people more than she did.

Jackie skitters around the perfect prefect high tea to find an empty table. Finally she finds a small empty table in the cluster of lower tables. She sits down and sips her mint tea. Quietly she thinks of her sister and how she would be the center of the party. Rose would be there in the center of all the commotion. Part of everything. Jackie wished she could be more like Rose. She just wasn't that good with walking up to people and saying hello. If only she could work up that courage.

Caroline looked up and saw Helena from the match earlier. She smiled at the younger syltherin. "Sure go right ahead" She motioned to a chair. "You look pretty." She added as she watched her take a table.

Caroline saw Helena turn pink. oh just like what she would have done her first year and still now because when She said you look pretty too. She turned pink too. "Thanks" She said. "Good. and you?" Zander looked up and it was at that moment that he caught a glimpse of Caroline, he waved in her direction, but he wasnt sure if she had seen him

"I'm Kyleigh Manning," she smiled to them, knowing she should have known their names she felt stupid, and embarrassed but she was trying to make more friends.

Caroline nodded "I know I like to dress up sometimes, but there's no way I could have worn clothes back in the day." She shook her head, and pointed to the corset looking part of her dress. "I can't breathe" she laughed. Maybe it wasn't the dress, could have been they awesome time that she was having, that made it hard to breathe. As the breeze blew her blonde hair every where, Katelyn sat down onto a seat by herself. Today was a great day for a tea party, she looked around at everyone and saw everyone talking to at least one person, but there was no one for Katie, anyway remembering that she was dressed up as Violet Baudelaire, she started to get back into character, there was nothing to use to make an invention with, well at least Katie could maybe think of something to make later. She tied the purple ribbon in her hair and started to think.

"Someone?" Katie asked, yup, Katie was right, you couldn't deny it, but it wasn't very pacific, Katie knew that maybe making a joke might cheer both of them up after hearing an Unfortunate Event, it seemed every year Katie was at Hogwarts something bad happened.

Selina made her way over to the tables from the maze. After that experience she needed some food to help calm her system down. The little redhead sat down at the table and hit the large white train of some girl. All of the cotsumes around her were larger than life and hers was lacking something. However, all of the constant pushing and shoving was making her appreciate more and more the simplicity of her traditional young girl's outerwear at the turn of the nineteen hundreds.

Turning to the source of the dress Selina said, "Oi, that is one big dress lady." Then her eyes met Kurumi's beautiful Violet ones. "Kurumi! Sorry about just then. Just all of these dresses today have run me over like a pancake."

She then got a good look at Kurumi's dress. There was something beautiful about her dress that everyone elses seemed to lack. Most girl's went for the wow factor, but Kurumi seemed to go for tradition and simple beauty. She won out among every girl at the party.

"Your dress is really pretty, Kurum."

Lexi plopped into a seat at the lower tables and looked around for someone to talk to.. when a thought occured to her... Hehe. Pulling out her wand and grabbing a napkin from neaby she wrotea quick note with her wand and folded it up tight. Heheh. No harm done... she was sure.

With a few taps of her wand she directed the charmed napkin!note to go find the boy in question. He WAS one of her good friends and she couldn't exactly join him where he was. Feh.

She watched as the PINK napkin floated off toward the upper tables toward it's intended target. Heheheh.

Katie didn't say anything, she had nothing to say, she looked down at the ground, she should say something TALK KATIE! But it seemed Katie was getting a bit sad about what had happened, and when she was up set she normally said nothing, or if she was in a fight yell, but they were not fighting right now, "So anything happen recently?" Katie asked trying to make conversation, she didn't want to stay here quiet.

OH NO! AWKWARDNESS! Oh thank badgers, Tee said something. "... not really ... I started rereading Series of Unfortunate Events" she said. Now that he was done spotting familiar faces, Evan finally looked up to the bigger picture, and a broad smile spread over his face. This was fascinating. And it was their work. He blushed with excitement. Yes, he did feel extremely proud of the fellow prefects. Travelling his eyes at every corner of the marquee, he turned back at Ivory with a pleasant smile.

Hmm, where to sit, then? Noticing the professors, he decided to sit by them. Then they would be trying other stuff anyway, only to get a breather and a drink.

"How about next to professors, lady?" he asked, again offering his arm. "After a drink, we can check out the rides or the maze, if you wish." But first, he had to settle down somewhere for a glass of butterbeer. Too much of opening his mouth to staaaare left it dry.

"That sounds delightful." Accepting his arm, Ivory let herself be led to a table near the professors. Nodding, she smiled. "We can't be at a tea party without drinking something or other." Preferably tea, but she wasn't picky.

Recognizing the professors and Groundskeeper sitting down, she inclined her head politely in greeting, a friendly smile on her face. " Afternoon, Professors." Hopefully they were enjoying themselves.
