Skirting around the wall of the enchanted Marque, are a number of small tables. Set back a little from the communal dance floor, and away from the parade grounds, these tables have gorgeous views out onto the snowy landscape, across the lake and all the way to the beautifully lit castle upon the cliff. Here one can watch the Whirling Tea Cups, and the Sleigh Rides.

Decked out in the same Period appropriate furniture, these tables are a nice spot, to chat with friends away from the frivolity and jollification of the Upper tables; a quieter place to sit with a cup of tea and a scone and just enjoy the ambience of the night.

So grab that tea cup, select that scone, stick out your pinky finger and enjoy; this night is for you!

"You win some, you lose some. But we did have a pretty decent season thus far beside that one game. Simon played amazingly. I was in the hospital ward so one of the reserves had to play for me. I was so bummed."

Kurumi gasped. She hadn't heard about Selina visiting the hospital ward! She really needed to get her head out of her books and pay more attention to her friends. "What happened!? Why were you in the hospital wing?!" Did it have anything to do with what they had talked about in the animal daycare center?

Jamie found herself sitting at a table. The dress was getting uncomfortable and the shoes were not the best. She looked at the menu and decided she really did not want anything. She sigh and just stared off into space.

Sylvie found her way toward the lower tables. Yes, she was rather fashionable late, but it was best to be late than not show at all. Well at least in her own opinion, late was better than never.

She had eyes the tea cups and the maze, but opted for a cuppa tea first. She did want to take in all that was around her before she did anything first. The thought of a sleigh ride did spark her interest as well, but there would be time for that. After all, there wasn't any reason that she would have to rush through everything. She did want to enjoy all the hard work that the prefects had put into their party.

Settling into a chair, she glanced around at all that surrounded her. The students had outdone themselves. The same details only made her smile as she set her parasol down as well.

Selena turned around and saw Diggy, grinning from ear to ear. "Good evening to you as well, Lord Greenwood," she said happily as she attempted to curtsy... again. And again, she stumbled and almost fell. Merlin heels were a pain!

Diggy giggled and caught his girlfriend before she stumbled into the punch or something. "Didn't grace come with this dress?" he teased and he helped her stand upright. He still marveled at the fact that his his tiny wisp of a sister teetered around in high heels all day long every single day. He stood back and bowed before her. "Your beauty is nonparallel in these lands my lady. It takes my breath away." He stood up to smile at her.

He most certainly was not enjoying it by himself but she wouldn't push for details yet." What maze? There's a maze here? And what's so fun about walking around in a pruned bush?" Boys. Forgetting that she had wanted to go and hide, she placed a few more brownies on the plate and nodded her head. Yes, go outside so there would be a reason for her face to be so red. "Yeah, the maze. Don't forget the profiteroles!"

Her laugh, somehow made his heart beat like he had just run along the Great Wall of China, his veins were pulsating some much he could see them through his tights………or maybe that was just them struggle to pump the blood…….he did have a thing for tight pants!

Notcing that he was lost in her laugh, it playing over and over again in his head, Patroclus realises ~~his~~ Destiny was talking to him, “Of course you can! All the plates are connected to the Kitchens like the House tables, plus the elves have replenishing charms on everything,” there was no way they were going to run out of food, he had made sure of it!
The prefect went the same colour as his costume, as he listened to her compliment his shoes, it was such a general comment, but coming from her it meant everything to the young lad. At a complete lose as how to respond, he blushed further still, and then mutters “Thank…..you”

Panicking , Patroclus reached out and grabbed her hand, his sticky chocolate coated hair clasping around hers, it was gross, but he didn’t mind. Once he knew she was not going to pull away, he pulled her through the crowd, very fast, heading for the Maze

As much fun as this was it was just too formal. She took her girls hand and said, "Jamie. First year Slytherin." She loved when she could make new friends. Especially ones that were in her house and not much older than her.

Selena blushed in embarrassment. Eh, not like she minded falling, definitely not when into Diggy's arms. Oh she felt so cheesy and corny at the moment. What an epic fail. She giggled and shook her head. "Definitely not, grace doesn't seem to bode well with me," she said back with a smile. Selena simply couldn't understand how people strut along in these darn things. They were torture. Selena managed to curtsy without falling and bowed her head slightly. Ah, stupid crown. She pushed it back to the top of her head. "Thank you my good sir," she said blushing. Destiny waited ever so patiently for Patroclus to answer her oh so important question about bringing the whole tray with them. If he told her no, she would pout! Not that she knew what that would accomplish, but she'd do it anyway. But there was no need to pout, for he had said yes! Well, he said of course; it was same thing. She got to bring the chocolate, that's all that mattered. "Good!" she said when he explained how the plates were connected to the kitchens. "I wouldn't want others missing out on eating them things."

Actually she wouldn't mind them missing out, but she wasn't going to tell him that.

If it was possible, her face warmed up even more when she noticed Patroclus' blush. She wasn't sure why he was blushing, but ~~it was cute~~ she had to divert her eyes back towards the food table to stop that weird, funny feeling in her stomach. Hungry, she'd pass it off as being hungry.

Scrutinizing the setup, she willed her face to turn back to it's normal color and it probably would have worked if he hadn't taken hold of her hand and start pulling her to wherever they were going. She forgot.

And she did not think his sticky and chocolate coated hand in hers was gross at all..it was just keeping her from eating those profiteroles.

Setting her plate and glass down gently on the table, Ivory sat herself down again her skirt draping elegantly over the chair. Small fork in hand, she speared a potato skin with a small gesture and took a bite. Giving a little hum of delight, she ate a bigger bite.

"Mmm, this is delicious." Lifting her glass, her pinky daintily lifted, she took a few sips of the sparkling lemonade finding it exactly to her liking.

Her hunger now slightly appeased, she turned her attention to her companion.
"So Evan," She began, lips upturned in a friendly grin. "since we don't really know all that much about eachother how about we fix that." It seemed only logical that if they were here together even if it was as friends rather than as a couple then they should at least know the rudimentary basics aside from the fact that she was in Ravenclaw and she was in Slytherin and were both prefects."What say you to taking turns asking one another questions."

Lifting a eyebrow teasingly as she took another sip of her lemonade, she pointed one slim finger at him. "You can go first."

A burrito. Well, what do you know. Laughing, Ivory leaned forward in her chair a bit resting her chin gently on her palm as she listened. "All the basic food groups all rolled up together." She agreed with a smile. She herself didn't mind a good burrito when she was back home. Especially when her Grandmother made them. Mmmm. But now was not the time to reminisce about home cooking. Evan had asked a question. A startlingly good one.

"Two people...?" Well that was a tough one. "The place would have to be DisneyWorld and the people..." Back to staring at the ceiling, she played her fork around the brie cheese on her potatoes in thought. "I guess it'd have to be Arya and my little brother." Yeah, Arya was a given. She would've said Allison as her second. The third musketeer in their friendship, but she hadn't heard from the girl in quite a while.

Nodding her head, she ate another bite. "Now my turn." Eying the sleigh ride as it rode past the marquee a little ways off, she smiled as she thought of another question. "If it wasn't for being a wizard, what would you want to be when your older?" Bingo. That was an excellent question...well at least she thought so.

A burrito. Well, what do you know. Laughing, Ivory leaned forward in her chair a bit resting her chin gently on her palm as she listened. "All the basic food groups all rolled up together." She agreed with a smile. She herself didn't mind a good burrito when she was back home. Especially when her Grandmother made them. Mmmm. But now was not the time to reminisce about home cooking. Evan had asked a question. A startlingly good one.

"Two people...?" Well that was a tough one. "The place would have to be DisneyWorld and the people..." Back to staring at the ceiling, she played her fork around the brie cheese on her potatoes in thought. "I guess it'd have to be Arya and my little brother." Yeah, Arya was a given. She would've said Allison as her second. The third musketeer in their friendship, but she hadn't heard from the girl in quite a while.

Nodding her head, she ate another bite. "Now my turn." Eying the sleigh ride as it rode past the marquee a little ways off, she smiled as she thought of another question. "If it wasn't for being a wizard, what would you want to be when your older?" Bingo. That was an excellent question...well at least she thought so.

Nodding with a lick of his mouth, Evan smiled. "Exactly!" he said. His favourite food, along with pastry and meat. He couldn't live in lack of any one.

Cocking his head, he asked "Wouldn't DisneyWorld be boring for a month?" Riding the same things everyday... sure it was as big as... or wait... was that big one DisneyLand? He wasn't sure. In any way, it would be boring. Though maybe with the people she liked, it would be okay. He shrugged. He didn't know for sure.

"A footballer," he said quickly before she was even finished. He sighed. For that he sometimes wished he was normal... Sure, he was still going to try his chance, but with lack of a training of normal people, his chances were dramatically low.

Looking up, he thought for a question as he took another glass of butterbeer.

"What would you like to be: A metamorphmagus or an animagus?" Mweh, quite the classic.

Alex was a bit bored actually. He knew he wouldn't win the best costume competition because he hadn't been allowed to wear his Superman outfit so he just stood nibbling on a piece of cake. He turned his head at the sound of heels and smirked to himself when he saw his cousin. My, my, my.

"I believe a 'why hello milady' is in order." he winked at her with a wicked smirk tugging at his lips.

Cass turned around when she heard a familiar voice. "Alex, is that you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, carefully examining the not-so-drastic transformation her cousin had undergone. No tights, no underwear over it, no spandex...

"You look great!" She finally exclaimed after getting over her initial shock
