As you enter the Hogwarts library, what appears to be a cozy nook in one corner of the main area appears most appealing to the Hogwarts student interested in his or her reading. Upon further inspection, you see that this comfy area is larger than it had seemed on first sight. Spread throughout the room are clusters of armchairs, surrounding magical reading lamps giving off different levels of light, all of which are appropriate for reading. These clusters are perfect for study groups or group projects.

Here and there are a few lone armchairs for the student who enjoys quiet solitary reading, and a number of sofas for any that would rather stretch out and put their feet up. Be sure not to muddy them up though!

A soft glow of light is present throughout the room, with more magical lamps in each possible reading space. Be sure not to make much noise and respect some students' wishes to read in quiet.

One last note, no food or drink in the reading lounge.

"I'm Ava Jade," she replied with a friendly smile, taking his hand and shaking it. "So you're an artist, huh? I stink at drawing, but it's fun once in a while, when no one can see it." She giggled, thinking of some of her atrocious pieces of artwork... Good thing she'd hidden (or burned) them all a long time ago. "Are you going to draw a basilisk, then?" she asked curiously. She sat down next to him, hoping he wouldn't mind. She needed someone to talk to, and Levi seemed really nice, even if he was a bit shy. (And Ava Jade had never really had trouble filling silence, anyway.)

The Gryffindor boy beamed and returned the handshake. It was nice to converse with somebody who wasn't trying to offer him their spare change or asking if he slept in a telephone booth somewhere. She seemed genuinely interested in what he was doing and he stifled a laugh when she said that her drawing skills weren't the greatest. Most people he had talked to before had found the act a waste of time and put it down. Sure, it wasn't as exciting as quidditch but it helped pass the time. It had taken him a while to get as good as he did and he wasn't going to drop the hobby just because it didn't meet anybody else's approval.

"It's a good house. I have a lot of friends in Gryffindor." Setting her bag on the table, Ava Jade pulled out a notebook and quill. "Here. I'll prove to you that I'm terrible at drawing. Let me try to draw a dog."

Five minutes later... "Well that looks nothing like a dog," she declared, putting down her quill and examining the lines and circles on the paper. "The problem is...I don't know what's wrong with it. Only that there's DEFINITELY something wrong with it." She laughed, crunching the paper into a ball. "This one is getting burned without a doubt. But now it's your turn! Draw something amazing," she teased.

Taylor sat down on one of the couches and picked up the book she'd just been reading, she sighed as she pushed back her blonde curls, un-tieing the cute green ribbon from her wrist and putting back her curls with it, letting a few loose ones frame her face perfectly.
She smiled as she settled back to read the book- it was just some muggle one about vampires that she'd bought with her from home- but she was so addicted to these books! They were awesome reading- but she wouldn't admit that.
She looked around, wondering if she'd see anyone she knew about the lounge.

Neptune readjusted the scarf around her neck while she waited for Mr. Jake Morgan. She'd swapped out her usual bit of school uniform for this new accessory.

Just for Jake.

Just to see if he'd notice, really. He WAS a boy though, so.... bit of a test, really.

She arranged her skirt just so, crossed her legs, and idly scanned whatever book had been left behind.

Having dumped his school bag and such in his dormitory four floors down, hoping he wouldn't find it filled with jello or something when he went back, Jake had wondered whether or not he had time to change out of his uniform. It was much warmer, and wearing that cape always made Jake feel like a superzero.

The young man headed straight to Neptune with a smile, quite conscious of the fact that he hadn't yet had a haircut.

"Hello my lovely," Jake grinned as he sat down. That blue neckthannng was new. "Nice... thing."

Jake's eloquence was his biggest asset.

.... so she did. Neptune reached over and .... nudged his hand. Bold girl, obviously.

When she nudged his hand, Jake looked down and after a moment, turned his hand so it was palm up.

Levi noted her badge and then glanced back at his own with a smile. It had gone askew on his robes and he quickly adjusted it. If there was one thing Levi wasn't, it was organized. Everything about him seemed to be kind of disarrayed. His hair was an unmanageable mess and there was always something rushed-looking about the way he was dressed. Sometimes he'd forget to tie his shoes and sometimes his sleeves, as long as they were, would look crooked when he pushed them up. It was only fitting that he would become interested in art. Art didn't have to organized, you could let your mind wander.

"Yeah, my older brothers were in Gryffindor too. I guess it was a given I'd be sorted in there as well. I don't think I'm all that brave, though." Levi watched as she whipped out a notebook and began to draw, his eyes fixed on the paper curiously. Okay, so maybe drawing wasn't her strength but he couldn't help but laugh a little. "I think you're bein' too hard on yourself. I think your version was pretty unique!" He took the paper from her gently and went ahead with her suggestion.

"Ava Jade, would you mind, um, posing for me?" Levi inquired with a small beam. It was nice to finally make a friend around here.

Neptune wasn't so SURE about that statement. Weren't they magical folks? She was sure there had to be a charm about somewhere to cut his hair properly, or at the very least, someone in Hogsmeade. For his comment, Jake would suffer.

Slowly, she began to untie the scarf from her neck.

"Oh," GRIIIIIIIIIIN, "yes! Yes, I would like to go with you." Giggle. "Thank you for asking." GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN X A LOT. "Do you have a costume in mind?"

Levi watched as she whipped out a notebook and began to draw, his eyes fixed on the paper curiously. Okay, so maybe drawing wasn't her strength but he couldn't help but laugh a little. "I think you're bein' too hard on yourself. I think your version was pretty unique!" He took the paper from her gently and went ahead with her suggestion.

"Ava Jade, would you mind, um, posing for me?" Levi inquired with a small beam. It was nice to finally make a friend around here.

Ava Jade giggled at his question. "Sure, that'd be fun! Where do you want me?" This was exciting! She'd never posed for a drawing before. Heck, she'd never even been asked to pose for a drawing before. None of her friends were that interested in drawing, which might be another reason she had never been that good at it. No real incentive to practice. "Should I look natural, or model-esque?" she joked, feigning a dramatic stare into the distance, then laughed at herself.

" I am happy you like Hugo, how about love?" Rex asked Fee. " I have been talking to this boy Justin and even though he is pretty cool, Hugo is jealous of him" Rex told Fee. " I know Justin really likes you a lot, so what are you going to tell Justin?" Rex asked Fee.
" No, I can't make the top five because I am busy and can't stay in classes the whole time" Rex explained to Fee. " There are points for students answering in classes, laadt term, the houses got the points, not the individuals" Rex sighed." No, this is my third compass. I actually finished my homework but did not get high marks on this homework" Rex sighed again
" I guess I will just have to be content to help Gryffindor win but not be a top student this term" Rex sighed even louder this time. "What is wrong with me?" Rex asked Fee.

"Uh, well, you can stay here if you want," Levi suggested timidly. "I'll move back a little." This was just as exciting to him as it was to her. He had never tried drawing a real person before. Most of the time he was prone to sketching out pictures of scenery and objects that he though looked cool. Sometimes he'd try to capture an animal in his pictures as well but that was as far as he had gone before with his skill. He hadn't thought of drawing a person until now but he decided he had found his model...and what a pretty one she was.

The Gryffindor boy laughed at her dramatic pose and then shook his head. "Just be yourself in this," he advised her with a smile. She could have been a model in real life, he mused thoughtfully to himself. "Hold still, okay?" He picked up his own notebook and flipped to a blank page and began to draw, his pencil gracefully swerving around the sheet. He bit his lip, erasing a couple things now and then and re-sketched them before he turned the book around to show her. "How's it look?"
