Cass glanced down at the books and raised an eyebrow at them, well, she couldn't expect third years to have the same homework as they had...

"Well, I wouldn't want you to fail History of Magic and Care of Magical Creatures...." She said. It looked like he had a lot to study for

"I won't fail them...I swear..." he insisted with a small smile. He knew if he put a little more effort into the work, he might have coasted through the rest of the semester. It was just a little hard to keep focused on them all the time. Who wanted to dedicate their life to homework anyway? Life was short enough as it was. Why squander away the time to read some trivial information when he could have been having fun with his best friend.

Cass was a bit quieter than usual today and his smile flickered. Had he come off too strong by sitting that close to her? He wondered if he should have moved over a little.

"Good." Cass said with a smile as leaned back and sighed contentedly. Then she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes and frowned at the expression on his face

"Is something wrong?" She asked softly, wondering what could be the reason behind his change of mood

Levi glanced up, trying to play it cool. "Huh? Oh, er, no...I'm okay..." he lied. Unfortunately, he could hear the insincerity in his voice and he was sure that Cass would have picked up on it too. She was a smart girl. It probably would have made things more awkward if he didn't speak his mind. Otherwise, he might have had to make up some other crappy excuse and try to bolt for his dorm. Maybe it would have been better just to let it out.

"Well..." he hesitated. "You know, if you ever feel like I'm being too close and you need some space, let me know. I don't wanna, um, annoy you or anything. I'm sorry if I carry on too much as well. It's just...well, I've got noone else to talk to and I consider you a good--no, a great friend. I hope you feel the same way about me."

Ah, first year. It somewhat explained not having been to the library before, but still! It was way past mid-term, and she hadn't found a reason to come in here before? Ellie was in the library the second day she arrived at Hogwarts. Ellie smiled at the younger girl. "I guess that's a little understandable." She said with a friendly wink.

Ellie was ecstatic to see Samira overjoyed; it made her smile. Successss! She grinned at the girls' excitement. "It's no problem at all! That's what I'm here for, I'm a walking encyclopedia or book-sharer. If you ever need more books, just give me a holler and I'll probably have one in mind." She said with a laugh. Because seriously, it was true. Ellie loved to read. And she did read. All. The. Time. She shot her new Slytherin friend a friendly smile.

And then his voice echoed through the library. Ellie's eyes widened as she searched for the librarian who was hopefully hard of hearing. Huh. She didn't expect that reaction. Especially the whole staring her down part. It was a little odd. Maybe even a teensy bit creepy.

"Err.. Hey. Chandler, right? It's me, Ellie..." She spoke up, hoping to slice through the awkwardness while he continued to stare at her. Ellie gave him a feeble smile and took a couple small steps closer to him hesitantly. Just incase he decided to lash out again. Safety precautions, right?

Cass turned fully to face him, all signs of mirth gone from her face as he lied to her about being ok. Then she watched the expressions on his face change from thoughtful to uncertain. She was about to open her mouth to say something when he spoke once more

her mask of neutrality broke as he explained why he was feeling uneasy. Then finally, she smiled.

"Don't worry, I don't find you annoying, in fact, I consider you as one of my favorite friends too. I don't need space, I greatly enjoy the time I spend with you, so why would I want it to end?" She said reassuringly. Then she leaned in and kissed him gently on the cheek, then pulled away. And as she did so, she caught sight of the books that were on the desk and she smirked at the idea that had come to her.

"Now that we've dealt with all that drama, I know how we're going to spend our time here in the library productively." She stated as she tucked her legs under her skirt, sitting on them in the process, and rolling up the sleeves of her white oxford blouse until her elbows. She was ready to work.

Levi listened to Cass patiently, trying to keep his optimism high. Maybe he wasn't irritating her as much as he thought he was. Or maybe he was being more annoying than he speculated. He couldn't decide as his mind was a paranoid jumble. He knew he shouldn't have gotten so worried but he couldn't help it. Levi never really had a lot of friends at Hogwarts. They were all back home in his lower-class neighborhood and attending a muggle high school.

Thankfully, her words seemed to comfort the boy and they gradually lifted his spirits. So she wasn't annoyed by him? That was a huge relief. Levi smiled back, his dark eyes lighting up with elation. He was thrilled by what she had to say and even more so, when she kissed him on the cheek. His heart pounded wildly against his chest and he felt the sides of his face burn. This pretty much made his day.

"Okay," the Gryffindor student managed to reply. "I feel the same way." He paused. "I already said that, didn't I? Well...er, yeah..." He felt like such a dork.

Although homework wasn't his style, Levi hoisted his books off of the table and opened the History of Magic one. He'd never been one for studying but Cass made it seem rather appealing. Maybe even fun...

Ellie smiled at her new firstie friend. "Glad I can help" She said with a smile. "Yeah I'll see you around!" Ellie said with a little wave to her and walked away down a different line of shelves.

Cass watched as he took a book into his hands and opened it. Good. Then she swept her long hair to one side and scooted closer to see the book as well.

"So, what are you supposed to study about?" She asked. Modesty aside, she was pretty good in history and maybe she could be of some help.

" Slytherins are very smart, too" Rex told Fee. " I am smart, but I have been passed by other students this year in Gryffindor" Rex sadi to Fee." I guess Rene and my relationship is ok" Rex explained to Fee. " I am not bad at relationships?" Rex asked Fee

Levi tried to remember which chapter he had been trying to skim through. All of the stories seemed to meld together but they hadn't made much of an impact on him. History had never been that exciting to him unless it involved a battle or the discovery of a new animal. He really couldn't have cared less what the name of the witch was who invented floo powder or who the first man to obtain the dragon pox disease was.

"I, uh, I think I need to look up something about Cornelius Agrippa..." he said, uncertainly. "I don't remember much about him but I guess he was a victim of censorship in the muggle world back in the middle ages. People thought his books were evil or something." Yawn... he wanted to add.

Joey sat down in a chair and started to read a herebology book.she waited to for someone to see so she can make a new friend snice been gone half of the year in romania with Nero and her adpoted mother was passed away.

Samira smiled as she walked away from her new Ravenclaw friend, Ellie. She was so excited to look through her new Charms book. The possibilities of what she could do were endless! As she was walking, the young Slytherin spotted a place where she could sit down and read her book next to a girl who seemed to be by herself.

After a while of sitting still, Samira started to grow bored and restless. She placed down her book and turned to the girl next to her.

"Hello," she said. "My name is Samira...come here often?" Okay, so it was a lame attempt, but she was trying!

Christopher wandered into the library reading lounge carrying a large pile of books. He had some reading to catch up on books from the wizarding world, although he loved the Muggle classics, as he grew up on them. He sat down at a vacant table and opened up Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Christopher was a huge animal lover, so he figured he learn about even more animals in the wizarding world.

Samira smiled at the beginning of the conversation. Her smile quickly faded when she saw how upset the Ravenclaw was.

Samira gasped. "Oh my gosh, what's wrong?" Samira scooted closer and placed a comforting hand on Joey's shoulder and looked up at Joey with wide, sincere eyes. "You can talk to me about it with me, if you want." whispered Samira, wanting to comfort the crying girl.

My adpoted mother passed away in a car crash she love muggle cars.Joey wipe her tears and started to write down something into a muggle notebook.this was she looks like taking out a photo of Jamie with her brother and sister.

"Isn't he the guy in the chocolate frog card?" Cass asked stupidly. ugh, that was the most stupid thing she ever asked, but she didn't know much about Agrippa....

Then, she let out an uncontrollable yawn. Oops.

He said with a cough. And now she was going towards him. WHAT WAS SHE GOING TO DO?!?! ! He could just run away from her right now but he was fixed in his position still staring at her. FAIL. At least Kaia wasn't here...
