As you enter the Hogwarts library, what appears to be a cozy nook in one corner of the main area appears most appealing to the Hogwarts student interested in his or her reading. Upon further inspection, you see that this comfy area is larger than it had seemed on first sight. Spread throughout the room are clusters of armchairs, surrounding magical reading lamps giving off different levels of light, all of which are appropriate for reading. These clusters are perfect for study groups or group projects.

Here and there are a few lone armchairs for the student who enjoys quiet solitary reading, and a number of sofas for any that would rather stretch out and put their feet up. Be sure not to muddy them up though!

A soft glow of light is present throughout the room, with more magical lamps in each possible reading space. Be sure not to make much noise and respect some students' wishes to read in quiet.

One last note, no food or drink in the reading lounge.

Uh oh. Did they have to match?

That... would be odd.

Neptune loosened the scarf, then expertly wiggled her fingers in to untie the knot. "You would have? Really? So... like...," she was shooting for nonchalant. Was it working? "...if someone else had asked me. And I had said yes. That would have offended you, too, right?"

Just to clarify.

She turned her body in their chair, pulling up her knees so she could fully face Jake. Then she leaned over, a bit of the scarf bunched up in each hand, then looped the fabric over Jake's head. Giggle. "Pretty."

But not done yet.

Next, she pushed the scarf UP past his forehead, catching all of his hair and pulling it back from his face. Scarf turns headband. Giggle. His hair was standing up every every EVERY which way it could. "Prettier."

Her face was tinged with confusion, in and among all the SO AMUSED looks he was getting. What did he mean what would SHE go as? She'd go with whatever matched him.... duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

She counted to one hundred, tried to think of random facts, reviewed incantations from her Charms and DADA classes in her mind....and then Levi was finished.

When he turned his book to show her, Ava Jade leaned forward eagerly to look at the final product. "Wow! That's amazing!" she enthused. "It looks just like me." She examined the drawing, noticing how he'd used different shading to get the shadows and textures. It wasn't a perfect picture, but there was no doubt that it was her own face staring back at her in the sketch. "You're really good," she told him. "Now you have to sign it! All the greats sign their works."

Well... at least it wasn't as lethal looking as the clippy thing. Shudder.

The young man simply LOOKED at Neptune, probably looking extremely comical. Speaking of which; "I don't even want to think about how my hair looks right now."

He could FEEL it sticking up. Hopefully Neptune didn't expect him to leave like this.

Jake was DEFINITELY getting a haircut.

But it was a sign of his... trust? loyalty? sheer stupidity?... that he left the scarf ON... and smiled at Neptune.

This was her last time practicing she was getting kind of good at it and figured it was time to stop practicing. "Comletia" she said pointing her wand at the watch and it turned to a beautiful old compass "Reverto" the watch was back she placed it back on her wrist got up and left the library leaving Rex to talk with Fee. She hoped that this wasn't going to affect thier realtionship.

Levi felt his face lit up immediately and his smile broadened. "Thanks!" the boy chirped. "I'm really psyched that you like it--and you're right, I should probably put my name on it. It's a keeper." Did she really think he was comparable to one of the greats? Levi had never been this flattered before and he was convinced now that art was not a waste of time. It was something to be shared.

"You know what? I think it's the nicest picture I've ever drawn," he blurted out, giving way to a blush.

"No.... I don't think 'good' is the right word for... it."

Neptune was WILLING him to catch on and ease her confusion.

She grabbed up her bag and put it in his lap, then rummaged around through her purse for a compact or a mirror. Finally, she found one and slipped it open for him to view his hair. "I think you look cute."

"Well," he began, not wanting to say the wrong thing. It would be BAD if he expressed all that lovey dovey stuff only to find out that HE was only someone SHE was dating. That would be... terribly upsetting. "You are my only girlfriend. You aren't just someone I'm dating to me... you're my girlfriend. But, I mean... if that's too, uhh... like, much for you... I get that. I mean... if you don't want, I don't have to be the only one for you..."

Jake bit his lip and looked at their hands.

He wanted his hair in his eyes. NAO.

"I don't do the whole multiple girlfriend thing. It's really not me. You know... it's all you."

She put a hand to her eyes and covered the top half of her face. She just needed a moment to HIDE the blushing and the entirely too pleased.... ness.

"You don't have to ask for hugs. As your girlfriend, I think that makes you entitled to them." Giggle. Neptune peeked out at him from under her hand, lifting her palm up like a flap. Teehee he looked so .... cute in her scarf. Maybe a haircut WAS a bad idea.

The suddenly shy Miss Bott pressed her ear to her shoulder, sort of awkwardly waiting for him to initiate the hug thing. "And I should tell people that you're my boyfriend, right?"

Just to be absolutely certain. EEeeep.

Aww, he was so sweet! Ava Jade grinned at his enthusiasm. "Well I'm quite flattered to be the subject of your greatest work," she said, noticing his face's change in color. Teasing, she continued, "I wish I could say I actually did something important...buuut I'm afraid modeling really isn't too difficult an occupation." She laughed. "Other than sitting still -- which is a devil, by the way -- there's really nothing to it!"

"So what other subjects have you sketched?" Ava Jade asked. "Ever tried drawing places on the Hogwarts grounds or anything like that?"

Neptune's smile started small, timid - but by those three magic words at the end there, Miss Bott was ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL GRINS.

It's all you.

She put a hand to her eyes and covered the top half of her face. She just needed a moment to HIDE the blushing and the entirely too pleased.... ness.

"You don't have to ask for hugs. As your girlfriend, I think that makes you entitled to them." Giggle. Neptune peeked out at him from under her hand, lifting her palm up like a flap. Teehee he looked so .... cute in her scarf. Maybe a haircut WAS a bad idea.

The suddenly shy Miss Bott pressed her ear to her shoulder, sort of awkwardly waiting for him to initiate the hug thing. "And I should tell people that you're my boyfriend, right?"

Just to be absolutely certain. EEeeep.

It was quite possibly that Jake was even more relieved right now than he was when he'd first gone to Hogsmeade with Neptune and got his 'yes'. But... he wasn't sure. Maybe THAT time he'd been letting the worry build up.

Where as right now he was sitting, looking like a fashionable goober, all POUNCED upon by emotions.

But Neptune was GRINNING, which made Jake start GRINNING. When she was looking at him properly again, he leaned forwards in their shared chair and wrapped his arms around Neptune. He KNEW his hugs were pretty darn epic.

"Most definitely," he smiled, laying his head on her shoulder for a moment. He kind of looked at her... and then kissed her cheek. Baha. He was so glad that she KNEW she was, like, the only one.

Neptune burrowed into the hug, not really returning it in favor of just being the HUGGED. Maybe a little selfish, but... giggle. Felt good. GOOD.

And a KISS TOO!

She pulled her knees up, sort of balling up, and giggled like a fool. An entirely happy fool.

"Jake...." GUH. Just. Jake. She did so love cheek kisses and attention and hugs and just ALL GOOD STUFF. Stuff she missed.

"We should use the library to research our costumes. I can have Randal custom-make us something matching." This was her attempt to reign in the giggles and goo-making going on in the library. Teeeheee. Probably wasn't going to work, not with Jake forever making her feel like the shiniest star in the sky.

"He does like.... everything. But he's totally a lingerer and nosy and thinks he can tell me what to do."

Jake couldn't help but mouth the word 'butler' once Neptune had said it. He couldn't imagine HAVING a butler... but it made sense that the Botts had at least one.

"I've never even had a house elf," Jake said, slightly in awe. In all the places he'd lived, except for Hogwarts, there had been no butlers or house elves. "Although... my dad does pick up after me."

Mwahahaha.

Holding the purse in the manliest of manly ways possible, Jake squeezed Neptune's hand with the other, and kind of swung it slightly. Gently.

Wait, HATS?!

"Ooooh, does that mean I can wear a top hat? And one of them weird coats with tails? Or a waistcoat," he stopped and looked down at Neptune. "Waistcoats are coooool."
