As you enter the Hogwarts library, what appears to be a cozy nook in one corner of the main area appears most appealing to the Hogwarts student interested in his or her reading. Upon further inspection, you see that this comfy area is larger than it had seemed on first sight. Spread throughout the room are clusters of armchairs, surrounding magical reading lamps giving off different levels of light, all of which are appropriate for reading. These clusters are perfect for study groups or group projects.

Here and there are a few lone armchairs for the student who enjoys quiet solitary reading, and a number of sofas for any that would rather stretch out and put their feet up. Be sure not to muddy them up though!

A soft glow of light is present throughout the room, with more magical lamps in each possible reading space. Be sure not to make much noise and respect some students' wishes to read in quiet.

One last note, no food or drink in the reading lounge.

"Ewwww!" Patroclus laughed, of course his friend would pick up on the cleaniness of the previous school leaders, "Well hopefully we will be a clean group of Prefects and Captains." They better be, Patroclus was quite the clean freak when it came to bathrooms and personal hygenie.

Scoffing at Jacob's reply Patroclus shook his head, "Lord Borr was a maniac, Oh now I see the interest for you! How silly of me." he joked, Lord Borr had been a scary scary man for wee Patroclus, one he would not forget in a hurry.

Understanding his dismal, Patroclus looked down on his friend, "Well enjoy your nap, just watch out for Madame Donovan, I don't think she would appreciate you sleeping in her Library." Grinning the boy turned, and headed out of the Library, forgetting completely the reason he had arrived there any way.

Carrying a rather thick book she had picked up dealing with the history of the Ministry of Magic, Kurumi quickly flipped to the G section where she had seen her father's picture under the name Charles Gaunt. Kurumi had found herself too afraid to continue to read past his name when she had made the discovery with Eino and she had only recently told Adam about the discovery. Now, she was determined to finish reading what the book had to say about the person she knew as Charles Hollingberry.

Finding the page, Kurumi took a deep breath and looked up at the ceiling before returning her gaze back to the book with a blank expression before she began reading.

Kurumi's eyes stopped on the word Metamorphmagus. She had heard others mention it and some even suggested that perhaps she was one. Her hands shaking, Kurumi reached for a wizarding encyclopedia she had sitting next to her on the chair and began flipping through the M section.

Rowan wandered into the library, book in hand. She was finding hard to concentrate in the common and was looking for a quieter place to read. She found a nice seat over in a back corner, plunked herself down into it, and pulled out the book her new parents had owled to her.

Audrey had her first homework assignment.

Effy sat crossed legged on a chair in the library and placed her Divinations book in her lap. Resting her elbow on her knee, and her head on her hand, she began to skim the contents of the book while quietly humming a tune to herself.

Adam made his way into the library-something he rarely ever did.
So finding Kurumi there was no surprise to him.
"Hi."He said , rather cheerful, knowing that all troubles between them had been patched up and sewed back.

"What's that. You're a pureblood? That makes no sense . I thought you said your dad was a muggle, not a pureblood?Or was that your mom being the muggle?"Adam asked slightly confused with his train of thoughts.

Nearly jumping out of her seat due to her extreme concentration on the M section, the encyclopedia dropped to the floor losing her place. "Adam, hi," she smiled pushing a strand of hair behind her right ear and picked up the book from the ground before returning it to her lap. "My father is a pureblood, I always knew that," she explained scooting over for Adam to sit down next to her. "My mother is a non-magical." She picked up the book with her father's picture and handed it to Adam. "What I didn't know was this," she said pointing to that mysterious M work on the page.

"Yeah...something like that," she frowned going back to the encyclopedia and trying to find her place again. "Ah, here it is...A Metamorphmagus, plural Metamorphmagi, is a witch or wizard with the ability to change his or her physical appearance at will, rather than requiring a Potion or a spell like the rest of the wizarding population. Walnut? How did she feel about Walnut at the moment... frustration was up there as the cat was constantly running around causing all sorts of havoc. Not to mention that she still had to finish his costume for Care of Magical Creatures. Then there was the whole problem with Walnut and Momotaro...it certainly was frustrating and stressful. Every morning she woke up in fear that she was going to have a bloody mess of pink fur on the floor.

The more Kurumi thought, the more frustrated she became and her hair slowly began turning a deep purple.

Kurumi, on the other hand, was in a bit of shock as yet another secret about her father came to the surface. Adding this bit of information to her canary yellow journal for future research, she smiled up at Adam. Playing detective could be put on hold of a little.

"He is fine," she sighed slightly rolling her eyes. "He still thinks he is the coolest thing since sliced bread. I agree. They haven't be able to hang out since the train, I don't think."

She couldn't quite bring herself to put the other one back yet. There was still so much that she didn't understand about him and she had only read the top part of the page. "By the way, what brought you to the library today? Homework?" She winked.

Kurumi smiled, not realizing the weight of the words that Adam had just said. "You know, it wouldn't kill you to go to some classes," she said still holding the book in her hands. "You still have time to leave your mark on Hogwarts, you know." Not only that, but it would give her just a little more time with him if they were in classes together. "Besides, with all the minus points going around this term, Gryffindor could really use your help."
