Violet walked into the library, her violet eyes darting all over the library from left to right repeatedly. She was looking for Selina and Elektra. Violet was completely freaked out since the whole incident in Divinations when Selina picked out the Tower Tarot card for her. She was so scared because she knew that meant something bad was going to happen in her life and she was terrified that it might be something someone close to her. Violet was breathing a little heavily as she continued to try and find her friends. She was fiddling with her hair that was pulled into a ponytail being held up by a yellow ribbon.

Hopefully he was going to pay Maya a visit to ask her. And hopefully he was around to see it. Heh. "Yes, sure take it along. We can discuss it then." Whatever it was. He felt Kimber still tugging on his hand, so he smiled at the boy, expecting him to leave now finally.

With the book in his hands. Talking of which, he was still holding one himself. One he had no idea what it was. "You should read this one too. It's... Jeremy actually read the title of the book for the first time in the last few minutes. "...Shakespeare. Okay, maybe you shouldn't read it." And with another smile he placed the book back onto the pile behind Kimber.

And now leave.

The prospect of leaving the library made him anticipate the boy's departure even more...and FINALLY he had left. Finally. Waiting a few more minutes Jeremy finally turned around to face Kimber again. Somehow...this was okayish again? At least it felt like it...it definitely felt better and promising.

"Okay, follow me." He said, not exactly giving her the option not to when he started to walk off, taking her along by her hand. They had loads to discuss and such. They needed some place more quiet, where there wouldn't be random students asking for books on sphinxes...or, engineering.

Selina heard the footsteps getting louder and louder. She was unsure who would be in the library at this time being that everyone was at dinner in the Great Hall. The library was somewhat dark due to lack of students. Selina would not be surprised if she was the only one in there, minus the two pairs of footsteps.

In a quick move she turned around to face her intruder and was startled by the close proximity of said individuals, "AHHHHH!!!!!!"

Violet heard some weird noises around her. Her heart started to race as she quickened her step a little more. Violet's back was turned when she had bumped into someone immediately screaming. She pulled out her wand while her eyes were closed quickly screaming,"AHHHHH!!!! JELLY-LEGS JINX!!!" Violet waved her hands casting the spell at whoever it was that scared her to death. She covered her eyes with her hands.

Elektra jumped and screamed and quickly covered her mouth quickly after and hears someone say something and Elektra quickly fell to the floor grabbing a book and covers her head and sees Selina and then looks up and looks over at Violet. "Violet?"

Violet stood there for a moment with her eyes still covered until she heard a very familiar voice. She spread her fingers so that her violet eyes could peek through and saw that it was only Elektra and Selina. Violet lowered her hands and breathed a sigh of relief,"Elektra? Selina? What the heck were two doing scaring me like that? It's bad enough I'm already freaked out that we're hear after hours.." She took a quick scan around until she looked back at her two best friends.

Elektra stood up and held the book in her hand and fixed her clothes. "It's bad enough that I have been paranoid all day about a lot of things, and then here you come with..." she paused and thought. "Jelly Legs?" She looked at Selina and then back at Violet. "What the bloody hell is Jelly Legs?"

Relaxing in her quarters after a very long and tiring day, Madam Donovan had just poured herself a nice cup of tea when she heard some commotion on the other side of her door. 'You've got to be kidding me!' she mumbled under her breath as she stormed from her room in search of noise.

Spotting the troublesome threesome amongst the bookshelves, she marched up to them with an icy glare, forcing herself not to scream.

"Five points from each of you for being in the Library after hours! EXPLAIN yourselves immediately or IT WILL BE TWENTY!" she ordered through clenched teeth. Oh and they had BETTER be on their very BEST behavior if they knew what was good for them. Kimber Donovan did NOT play games.

Elektra was about to say something when she paused and saw Madam Donovan and she swallowed spit and looked at Selina and Violet and thought of something to say and then she huffs. She really didn't need this tonight. "Madam Donovan let me explain before you immediately try to kill us or something." she said and then paused. Eeee maybe not the best of words to say at this moment... Elektra cleared her throat. "I'm sorry. You see we were just coming to get our friend Selina here because she was too into her reading and we were just coming to get her." She said. "Look I'm sorry for all the commotion we caused in here, but you see...we were just coming to get our friend. I swear this will never happen again."

Violet became very silent when she heard a very angry voice. She turned slowly seeing the librarian, Violet's violet eyes widened as she started to yell at them. Violet gasped when Madam Donovan said she was going to take 5 points. I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE COME HERE AFTER HOURS! Kept running through her head. Violet was on the verge of tears when Elektra began explaining to Madam Donovan why they were there. Violet nodded her head agreeing and said lightly,"Yes, that is exactly what we were doing. You see Selina here, has a bit of a problem with her reading, she can lost in a book for hours and not even realize it until someone says something. And when we didn't see her in the Great Hall we automatically knew where she was. Please don't angry with us Madam Donovan, we weren't doing wrong at all, except being here after hours." She said calmly agreeing with Elektra again,"Yes, we swear to never disrupt or cause any type of commotion in your library again. Especially after hours.." Violet placed her hand on her chest saying,"We are truly sorry Madam Donovan, I hope that you'll forgive us.."

The librarian took several deep, calming breaths and tried to listen as the girls began to speak. By the time they were finished, she'd lost all focus and was staring directly at the young Gryffindor. The one yet to speak. And according to her friends, the one to blame for this disturbance. "Fine girls," she said, waving them off. "You both are excused. Return to your common rooms at once and make sure this never happens again."

With her hands remaining on her hips, she took a step closer and said, "Selina? Did you have anything to add?" Or would she be spending her next Hogsmeade weekend scrubbing the Library walls?

Elektra started backing away with Violet and nodded. "Oh, I swear it will never happen again. Come on Vi." Elektra tugs on Violet pulling her away with her and she looks at Selina and mouths [i] You're welcome![\i]

Violet breathed a sigh of relief and said,"Thank you so much for understanding Madam Donovan. Yes, it will NEVER happen again." When Elektra began to tug on her Violet immediately began to follow after her. She looked at Selina also mouthing Good luck Sely!

Selinna watched in awe as the librarian reprimanded her friends. Honestly the last thing she wanted to do was offend the head of her house. She genuinely liked her and did not want to cause any problems. Of course she was tied up, well technically jelly-leg jinxed up. So as the teacher reprimanded the other two she was predisposed trying to undo the spell. Then finally she remembered, "I can't believe the counter curse was just unjellify."

She then stood up and brushed her self off. Looking at her teacher she said... as her friends left her, "Sorry ma'am. I just got carried away. I did not mean any disrespect, honestly. And as for the points... I guess I understand. I did not mean any disrespect to my house. But I fear it is too late for that. I will take my leave, ma'am. That is of course if you are done with me." selling said bowing her head.

Madam Donovan scowled down at the girl and shook her head. "You are in MY House, Selina. You WILL carry yourself as such." Merlin only knew what that other lady expected from the Gryffindors but it was apparent that Tate should have replaced her sooner.

"And next time you're "lost in a book", you'd better find your way up to my desk to check it out. Read to your heart's content in your Common Room. NOT in here. Are we clear?"

Selina kept her head down as Madame Donovan reprimanded her. It was of course warranted- she had broken the rules and she had to deal with the consequences. Some of which included loosing house points and being given a stern talking to. When the teacher finished she raised her eyes, "Yes, ma'am. I understand."

As Selina turned around to take her leave she turned back around to her head of house, "Ma'am? I am sorry. If there is anyway I can make my self of any service to you... Please do not hesitate to ask."

Nika followed Emily into the library. Wow, she was right it is beautiful. "So Emily what book did you say you needed again?"

Emily smiled at Nikas face "Cool, isn't it?" she laughed
"Anyway, I wanted a book on wizarding law. What books do you want..?" she said, slowly walking down the aisle, rinning her finger along the books spines.

"Well, I think I would like one on the wizarding law as well because I need it for the potions assignment. And I would also want to know some more about the wizarding world, like maybe a book about wizard jobs and stuff." Nika wanted to be well informed about being a wizard because sometimes she felt embarressed for not knowing things that her friends knew. "Oh! And maybe a book on Qudditch too!" At this rate she was going to walk back to the common room with the whole entire library.

"Ha. Your like me. You come in for one book and end up leaving with 20"
Although, had they come in for only one book? Oh Well...
"There's Hogwarts: A History, but I've read that twice... And an uprising in 18th centuary wizardry, I'll try that!" she said carefully taking the book off the shelf and flicking through it.

Nika looked around for the perfect books. "Oooh I think I might get this one," she said as she pulled out a book titled Quidditch Through The Ages. "I haven't read Hogwarts a History, maybe I should get that one, too!"

Emily passed it to Nika. "It's very interesting."
She flicked through some more of her book before putting it back on the shelf. "Nika, I think I'm gonna quickly ask at the reference desk. You can wait here if you want. I won't be too long." She'd just ask the librarian for a book on the statue, she'd be back in no time!

Nika took the book and put it in her little pile. "Okay you go ahead and ask, I think I should try and find some more books," Nika glanced at Emily and a question seemed to form in her head. "Do you think there is a restriction on how many books I can get?" Nika furrowed her eyebrows in all seriousness.

Emily looked at Nika. "Didn't you see how many books I had when we first met? No, I don't think their's a limit, just as many as you can carry."
Yep, as long as you could carry what you took out, you could take as many as you wanted. At least this was what Emily thought.
"Just don't go taking out the whole library at once!"

Nika looked at the books that she had collected so far. "Well, I think I will get A History of Magic and Qudditch Through The Ages". Yeah, that sounded good, she would get those and come back for more later. "I am not sure I will have time to read them all at once so I might as well get two and come back some other time." Nika took some of the other books in her hand and put them back on the shelves where they belonged as she made a mental note to come to check them out later.
