Fallon was wandering through the castle, exploring again. She had been through this castle many times, but still found many secrets throughout it. Fallon missed the sounds her heels made on the floor, but since the last time she'd fallen, she tried to stick to her converse.

She stopped in front of a statue she'd never really noticed before.She stepped back and read the plate on the front. Lachlan the Lanky? She looked up at the very interesting statue in front of her.

Cassie was growing really tired of the hufflepuff common room so she decided to take a walk around the castle. She figured she might even run into a hot guy or two who she could flirt with and entertain herself. Her luck seemed to be running dry today, as she ran into no one. Nope, not even a ghost. Most persons were probably still unpacking or something. How lame. Hmph.

The stairs changed taking her to the sixth floor where she ran into a very funny looking statue. Whoever that man was, he must not have had many girl friends. Nope, she didnt figure girls were much into his sort of stature. Gazing up at the statue, she almost ran into someone but stopped short of doing that.
"Oops sorry." She said quickly. She wasn't in the mood to get into it with anyone today by not saying sorry after bumping into them.

Fallon looked away from the statue just as someone almost bumped into her. She grinned at the girl, mainly because she apologized without provocation. "It's all right. I'm pretty clumsy at times myself." A lot of the people she meet was mainly because she had run into them. It seemed like a great way to make friends.

Fallon looked back up at the statue. "He looks so weird." She didn't realized she'd blurted that out. She was too busy looking at the strange statue.

Cassie returned the girl's smile. Wow she was surprising herself now. She had been so grumpy her first day here and now she was smiling with strangers and making friends. She actually preferred being in this mood, than being grumpy. She was prettier when she smiled anyways.
"Normally I'm not clumsy but I donno I was looking at that man thing."

She chuckled when the girl practically voiced what she was thinking."I totally agree! I was actually thinking that he was odd looking when I almost bumped into you. I'm Cassie Storm."

Fallon nodded. Most people weren't very clumsy. Fallon wasn't extremely clumsy. Now it was just when she was wearing her heels. She always had to be very careful when she was wearing them.

Fallon just realized that she'd spoken out loud. Thankfully, it was something embarrassing and was just a normal statement. "That is a good reason to bump into someone. Staring at this thing is just distracting." She turned and smiled at the girl as she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you Cassie. I'm Fallon McCarthy."

Cassie nodded. Yes the thing was a good enough excuse for almost bumpiing into someone. Who wouldn't be distracted by such a funny looking man. And she must be right because someone else agreed with her. She was on a roll or so she thought anyways. Right, she was making nice with new girl.

"I totally agree with you." Oh Fallon, that was a nice name. Well at least it wasn't as common as her name. Her parents were so boring, why couldn't they have spent time to think of something other than Cassandra. Something exotic maybe."I like your name. What house are you in anyways?" Maybe she could have a common room buddy.

Fallon nodded. She was still staring up at the very strange statue. She had no idea how she'd never really noticed it before. She really needed to pay more attention to her surroundings. She was getting sidetracked way too easily.

Fallon smiled and turned back to the girl. "Thanks." She loved her unique name. She didn't think that she'd ever met another Fallon. "I'm in Slytherin. You?" She hadn't seen her around the common room, so she figured that she wasn't in her house. Then again, she didn't pay attention to every single person there.

Cassie slid down to sit at the foot of the statue, her legs were feeling a bit tired from all the activities that she had gotten up to earlier. Jeeeez statue was even more funny looking from that angle. Oh well she just wouldn't look up at him. Right, she turned her attention back to Fallon.

"Yeah no problem." Ohhh so Fallon was a snake too, like her friend Lauren. Jeez she had like no female friends who were actually in the same house as she was. That totally sucked because she someone to gossip with in the common room."I'm a Puff." She said proudly. It was the best house at Hogwarts. In her mind anyways.

Fallon watched as Cassie slid down to sit under the statue. It seemed like a really good idea. So she took a seat next to her. She tried not to look up at the statue, but it was almost impossible. The thing looked ten times worse than when she was standing. She quickly turned her attention away from the statue.

Fallon grinned. Most of her friends seemed to be Puffs or Snakes. It made her wonder if she could've possibly been in that house too. "That's cool. Some of my best friends are Puffs." Yep. Unfortunately, most of them were gone now.

Parke had somehow become lost. It was the staircases. Definitely not his fault. What kind of place had moving staircases anyway? He signed and slumped down next to a rather obscure looking statue. His legs were tired and he needed a break before he tried to find his way back to the common room. He leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes. Just a little rest...

Ronnie was taking a walk through out the castle, trying to find a room or a hallway that she hadn't already been down. That was easy with Hogwarts, between the fake doors and moving staircases, and moving rooms. It was easy to get lost and find some where new every day.

She had some how made it all the way up to the seventh floor. Clutching a stich in her side she sat down on a bench and looked over. Not realizing that she had sat down next to some one. "Sorry....I...Didn't....see you" You said saying the words through her deep breath.

Yes, Minister. Thank you for this Order of Merlin. He'd couldn't believe he'd done it. And now the minister was speaking to him, saying something that sounded like 'Sorry....I...Didn't....see you'....Wha?!

Parke jumped up, startled. "Reciprocal properties of Arithmancy...", he muttered, blinking blearily. Where was he?! He turned and noted the odd statue. That's right. He'd been lost. Had he really fallen asleep. A turn to the other side of him found him the voice he'd heard. A girl. He seemed to be running into a lot of them these days. "Hi", he said weakly, still a bit confused.

"Are you okay? Were you just sleep walking?" She had asked him becuase he had suddenly come back to the real world. She laughed a little. "Maybe you shoudl wear shoes to bed then!" She added still laughing. She had never met anyone who sleep walked before. The idea was rather commical to her.

"I once feel out of bed.." She added trying to ease the situtation a little bit at least. "I dreamt I was falling off a cliff and then BOOM there I was on the floor." She was using her hands to talk again...why did she always do that.

Lexi plopped into the floor and dug the crumples of paper from her kangaroo pocket of her hoodie. Shooting a glance around herself to make sure NO ONE was around she piled the little scraps of paper up and pointed her wand at them. With a little grin she cast a nonverbal Incendio at it. Thanks Neptune Bott. Hehehe.

The little pile flamed up immediately and she simply sat watching the paper curl up on itself and turn to ash. She felt like clapping her hands like a small child. But refrained. Barely.

Ivan walked down the corridor with a tired yawn. He hadn't slept well in days. He wasn't sure where he was headed to but knew he wanted to be alone. Maybe the Room of Requirement but that almost always made him depressed for several different reasons.

As he walked he looked around and stopped as he saw one of those reasons sitting on the floor and lighting a fire. He barely stopped himself from turning around and walking the other way. Nope. He was not a coward. That's right keep telling yourself that. "You know you probably shouldn't be doing that?" he said said feigning casualness with his hands deep in his pockets.

Lexi was staring at the fire and PERHAPS a little giggle escaped her throat. Maybe. Fire WAS great. Then hearing a voice she started and shouted, Aguamenti!" DROWNING her fire she pouted for a moment before turning her head to see who the culprit...

Awwwww. Wibbles. "Hey. Wanna sit with me for a bit. I was just practicing nonverbals," she lied. She was really just starting a fire. The fact that she did it nonverbally was a plus.

Ivan raised an eyebrow as Lexi shouted to extinguish the fire she had started. He eyed the water all over the ground before looking at her again. This time she was looking at him and he swallowed hard. Still think you're brave? He had to pull his eyes away from her own eyes.

Sit? "Then you should have done the Aquamenti one nonverbally as well," he said pointing out the obvious and deciding to sit down though leaving some space between them. Touching would've been bad and meant more sleepless nights. "If you were really practicing those that is." Yeah he knew better.

Lexi had to blink a few times to get the smoke out of her eyes. Totally why they were watering. Yep. "Well I was a bit startled is all. Thought you might have been a gungho Prefect come to reprimand me for a little fire," she said having to press her lips together tightly to keep from giggling.

Ivan KNEW she liked fire... so he wasn't fooled, surely. "I was practicing... and burning stuff. Kind of a bonus if you will. How... how.. have you been?" she said all jumbled together and ended it with a clearing of the throat.

She really cared for Ivan. She just needed to focus. Not to mention... she was leaving. Why not get it over with now... when it would hurt less. Not that that logic had really worked. Because as she sat there looking at him she wanted to lay her head in his lap and cry.

Seeing her eyes start to water he had to catch himself from going to her. She wasn't about to cry because of him. Couldn't be. "Nope no Prefect." Pfft like he'd ever be a Prefect.

He took a deep breath and let it out in a sigh as he leaned his head against the wall. How was he... What'd she want the truth? No probably not but she'd know if he was lying. "I've been fine," he lied. He was sure the circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep gave it away. He had been close to asking someone to just knock him out so he could sleep. "You?" He kept his eyes on the wall across from him though he could feel her next to him and all he wanted to do was to hold her. Ugh he really was an idiot.

Lexi pursed her lips slightly. Blatant lie. Was that supposed to make her feel better or worse? The latter was where it was heading. "I have been a bit terrible to be honest. I won't lie to you about it," she said in a small voice.

She watched him for a moment and then without a second thought she scooted closer and lay her head in his lap, legs pulled up to her chest. There she lay in the corridor in the fetal position, head in Ivan's lap. She felt yucky. Just plain terrible, but it was for the best. That is what she told herself anyway.

Seeing her lips purse he knew she caught onto his lie. And she'd been terrible? Then WHY were they doing this? It still didn't make sense to him and he'd thought about it over and over again.

He almost gasped as she moved toward him and placed her head in his lap. Nonononono. This was not good. He swallowed hard and debated on what to do settling for moving his hand onto her head and running his fingers through her hair. Ohhhhhh this was so bad but he didn't want to let her go. "Lexi..." What? He sighed and leaned his head back far enough to stare at the ceiling for a bit. "I understand why you want to do this...I do. And I'm sorry I gave you such a hard time," he said quietly.

Lexi let her eyes close as he ran his fingers through her hair. "I am really sorry that I got so angry with you. I think I have just been so stressed out... And I had no right to blow up on you about Mia. It was just... it felt like you had something to hide when you waited until I was looking away to greet her. I just... I am so sorry," she said quietly. She blinked furiously and cleared her throat a few times before speaking again.

"I want you to be happy, Ivan. I truly do. I won't give you a hard time if you date someone else. I might not approve...because really... there is no one that can live up to me, but you know..." she said with a snort. She even reached up and tickled his ribs a little for effect.

He brought his head back down to look at her and followed his hand as her hair slipped between his fingers. "You were just in a bad mood and I didn't want to escalate that by your imagination running away from you but...I guess I did more harm than good there." Yup he should've just smiled and waved when he first saw her of course Lexi still might have gotten mad. "It's alright sweetheart," he winced as he said that out of habit and sighed.

He listened to her and he simply pursed his lips. Chances of him actually dating again were not likely. Especially since he still cared so much about her. But he knew himself well enough to know he'd probably flirt with everyone as long as she wasn't around. Hearing her remark he chuckled and broke out into a full laugh as she tickled him. "Hey now that's no fair." No doubt she didn't know how right she'd been with that statement though but he let it go. He let his fingers move and slide along her neck and shoulder on their own accord.

Lexi nodded her head a bit. "I know. I tend to act crazy sometimes when I am mad. Maybe I was just looking for an excuse to hightail it out of there and let you stay with them. You wouldn't have socialized with them if I was there. I never wanted to keep you from having friends. Hell... I encouraged it. I just... don't have too many friends and that was surely making it difficult for you," she rambled. Really she felt like she was drowning in that place. Ivan and Ikenna were like that only people she trusted in there and it was stifling.

"Not fair? The tickling or the statement?" she said with another snort. His fingers on her neck made her shiver a bit and she giggled.
