The Kitchen and Hufflepuff Common Room are accessed via the staircase to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall. You follow along a bright corridor adorned with paintings, the most notable of which is the still life of a bowl of fruit (with a particularly ticklish pear). Kte
With a wad Droobles Best Blowing gum in her mouth that consisted of about a pack of the stuff, Melanie strolled casually down the corridor. It was fairly empty, which wasn't necessarily a good thing. If she succeeded in her endeavor no one would see and bear witness to her bubble-blowing greatness. Sigh. Melanie figured it would be a good place to practice, though.
Taking a seat Indian-style against the wall, Melanie took a deep breath through her nose (yes... through her nose. Twas rather hard to breath through her mouth with all that gum in it). Then, she blew a bubble.
The girl went slightly crossed eye as she watched the big, pink, mass grow...
And then pop.
All. Over. Her.
It took a moment to register that she was covered in the pink gooey stuff and then, "Whaa!"

FOOD!
Nommy, nommy food this way and Chandler was going to just grab something quick from the kitchens. He couldn't be bothered going into the great hall and getting something from there. Too far! And this was convenient, sleeping right next to the kitchens. It meant that he could get food easily and quickly without having to take forever and he liked that very much. He stopped in his tracks and eyed a bowl of fruit and then passed the bowl.

Exploring with Aimee was going great,
until she'd lost Aimee.
So here Harley was exploring the school by herself, which wasn't as fun as exploring with someone else but maybe she'd find someone else to explore with, hopefully she would, or maybe she'd find Aimee again, that would be just as good as making another new friend. The redhead wondered down the kitchen level corridor, looking around for something interesting. She stopped looking when she spotted a girl sitting on the floor crossed legged with chewing gum all over her.
That looked like fun...kinda. "Um, Hi. Are you...okay ?"

Errrr, help?
Ellie wandered down to the kitchens. Yeah, one floor lower than the main food source, but she was craving French toast. And it just wasn't the right time of day for such a breakfasty food. So, she'd go the extra flight of stairs to the house elves, where she can make a special order. She was craving it just THAT much.
But there was a bit of a road block. Ellie stood there EYEING the boy until he MOVED.
Better. But...why did he not go in? Why would someone ever pass the kitchens and NOT stop by for something? She swore if she'd been a Hufflepuff, she would've been FAT.
Hungry as she was, her curiosity got the best of her. "Whatchya doin' there?" As in right there. As in not eating. Because that was just ludicrous.

Why did they have a bowl of fruit here anyway? It was a waste of space and it would be better if they just let people passed to go to the kitchens. Strange school. Plus Chandler wanted foood but the thing was he couldn't get PASSED! Which he hated. HMPF. ...Huh? He turned his head around to see a very very red headed girl, it was like Harley's but without any black in her hair. And red was quite a nice colour right? But he preferred brunettes, Callie though was just an exception. "Nothing. I just...want to get passed." He laughed awkwardly, hoping that SHE would show him how to get passed this weird bowl of fruit.

Ellie sized up the boy when he had explained himself. He seemed to be about her age. Maybe older. But still.
"You've been here how many years and you haven't learned how to get past the fruit bowl?"
Hahahaha.

:O GASP! That was kinda mean. Well, sorta, it wasn't like she knew that this was Chandler's first year. "I've been here for less than a month actually." He replied simply, finally turning fully around to face her. "But can you please 'elp me out 'ere? I could use some 'elp." And hopefully she would help him before he died of starvation.

"Oooooh! You're new!" Ah, that made more sense, then.
And....he was NEW. *Shifty*
"Well, it used to be, like, this BIG secret or something. But everyone knows now." Poor house elves probably don't appreciate that, much. Having people always barging in, demanding food. But then again, they seemed to like it alright. "All you have to do, is tap your wand on the banana." She folded her arms across her chest, and leaned against the wall. She was totally believable. Totally.
She was also kinda, sorta observant. And he had an accent. "Where'd you come from?"

...Oooooookkaaaay? "Oui...I am..." Chandler replied trailing off and nodding briefly. "A zecret? Why couldn't anyone else get into ze kitchens?" That must of been TERRIBLE! If he had known that there was the kitchens behind the bowl of fruit and he wasn't able to go passed the world would end for him. Literally. Well not literally because he could still get food from the great hall but still. "Good zing everyone knows now." Because of the reasons above. It was a GREAT thing that Chandler knew too. ...You tap your wand on the banana? "But wouldn't it get all bruised and ztuff and zen you won't be able to eat it? Or aren't you allowed to eat it?" He wanted to eat the banana, it looked yummy and nommy and...edible. :33
Where did he come from? Well he did have an French accent so obviously he came from Italy. EYE ROLL. But seriouuuusly..."From France."

Ellie shrugged. "I never really thought about it. Maybe the elves just liked their privacy." And were much more sociable now. Yup.
Bruised? The banana? Uhmm...Ellie BLINKED at the kid. "It's a painting." She would have to keep an eye on this one. Eating a painting would just be....EWWW.
She nodded. "I've been there." She had. When she was, like, reeeaaalllyy little, though. "Paris, to be exact."
Mmhhmm. "I'm Ellie, by the way," she introduced herself, pushing herself off the wall and giving him a wave. Yeah, wave.

Well.
This was a little embarrassing.
Someone had spotted her. Cheeks flushing the color of the bubble gum covering them, Melanie shook her head at the girl's question. "I'm fine..." she replied unconvincingly, coming to her feet. Looking down to survey the damage, Melanie made a face. It WOULD get in her hair. Merlin. "Well, as fine as someone covered in bubble gum can be." she added under her breath, with a small sigh.
"You think scourgify might do the trick?" Melanie asked thoughtfully, peeling some of the pink stuff from her face as she spoke. If she kept it up like this, it would take her ages to get the bubble gum off.

JP walked into an interesting scene.
but heard a girl speak about cleaning gum off of her.
"Yeah, it should do the trick i think! try evanesco if that doesn't work. Although i have never seen it used on gum. so id just stick with scourgify" JP smiled at her
Cass turned the corner and found herself in a much brighter corridor which was predominantly yellow and black. She really just wanted to get to the kitchen..
She tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder and looked around. Now, how would she get to the kitchen?

Harley squished up her face, poor girl. She had bubblegum all over her, bubblegum was like an evil supervillian that was trying to take over this girls face by sticking to it, and oh in her hair too. Harley sighed, trying to think of what to do, she didn't really eat bubble gum a lot so she'd never experienced the whole incident of it going all over her face. "Thats good then, I think." she answered a little puzzled tone in her voice.
Harley thought about the girls question before nodding as an answer. Hopefully it did work or that meant she'd like...lied to the girl and they'd just met, Lying to new friends wasn't a good way to make new friends. "Im Harley by the way." she said giving BubbleGum!Girl a smile.

Harley looked around as she heard a voice, a voice that sounded very close to where her and BubbleGum!Girl were standing, she waved at the person who approched them both. "Hello." she said giving the person another smile.

"That's...kinda strange." Well what did you expect Chandler to say? He had no clue what to say.
...A PAINTING? The fruit was a PAINTING? NOOOOO! He wanted REAL food not painting food! "It's...a painting?" He asked, crestfallen. "Zo iz ze rest of ze food a big massive painting too?" He didn't want that, he wanted food that he could actually eat. He nodded and shrugged a little. Okay, she went to France, what good was that to him? "Oh Paris? Zat's a nice place." Too bad he didn't live there, or lived but where he came from was nice, his house was nice, the area was, the fooooood was nice. Of course. NOMMY.
Oh, introductions now? Cool. "Chandler." He said, greeting her with a small smile and...a small wave in addition.

Ellie nodded. "It is, isn't it?" Hmmmm.
Oh well, it's all in the past now. Now they can eat what they want, when they want.
"Well, yeah." She flattened her hand on the canvas to prove it. It WAS rather life-like, though.
Paris was a nice place, yeah. "I only remember it like snapshots, you know?" Like the Eiffel Tower, the hotel room... That's it, really.
Chandler. Nice name.

The girl received an confused stare from Melanie. That was... good? Good? "I... yeah." Melanie would just go with it. "I want it off though." she informed her, with a little bob of the head. Bubblegum + Head + Hair + Robes = BAD. The girl seemed to think her plan to use scourgify would work though. The corners of Melanie's lips lifted slightly into a small, hopeful smile as the younger girl nodded.
As soon as it was off of her, the better. Melanie was rather impatient to clear the sticky substance away, so when she introduced herself she decided to just get it all out at once. "It's Melanie. Melanie Lockhart, 7th year Hufflepuff.... would be world record bubble blower, but that's scrapped now."Sigh."Nice to meet you Harley." Oh! Harley... Like the motorcycle company? That would be an easy name to remember. Melanie liked motorcycles, because they were cool, but she doubted she would ever actually want to get on one, because they were supposed to be dangerous and-
...
No!
That was not important now!
The issue at hand was the bubblegum... The bubblegum and how, at the moment, it was irking her!
Melanie's gaze drifted sideways as another voice chimed in. Normally she would have been glad for the company, but the fact that she had gum all over her dampened her mood quite a bit. Not to mention, Melanie didn't exactly want people to see her with the chewed up candy on her head. It was very unflattering. At least he was being helpful, though. "Thanks. Evanesco is a good idea..." Melanie considered the second year's suggestion for a moment, with a thoughtful expression on her face, before adding, "Actually, I think it would work quite well. I wouldn't want to risk, say, vanishing my hair or my head away instead, though." She needed her head for things... important things. Thinking, for example.
Frowning slightly, Melanie pulled her wand from its holster and held the tip of it to her head. Scourgify should work. Melanie hesitated to perform the spell, though.

"I slipped right outside the boys bathrooms in from of a professor earlier today. No need to be embarrassed. Happens to all of us. Plus it's a perfect time to practice magic! If you'd Melanie, I can give Scorgify a try. Technically i am a third year since i see your face looks as though you don't want a second year trying to clean you up. Just a suggestion though."
JP smiled at her. "I could go fetch you some Mrs. Scower's Magical Mess Remover if you'd like although I wouldn't advise you use it in your hair."
Alicia was just wandering around. In fact she had no idea where she was at the moment. The staircases kept moving when she was about to attend class. It was too late then for her to come for class so she decided to skip and explore the castle instead. But she didn't like being alone. She wished that she had someone who could accompany her. Hmm.. She frowned her eyebrows thinking and had a ridiculously brilliant idea. She had never tried if it would work but she wanted to try anyway. She withdrew her wand from her pocket and shouted "ACCIO!" as she flicked her 9 inch wand. That sounded like a simple spell indeed. "ACCIO!! ACCIO FEEEE!" She shouted once again, but lowered her voice this time because the house elves seemed to watch her. She didn't want to look stupid in front of them of course. She ended up giggling as it was no way she could accio people.

Fee made her way to the kitchen floor corridor.Maybe to the kitchen again? Nooope she so wasnt a hot white chocolate and cereal addict noo. The houselves were just good at making it.Walking further down she heard someone trying to accio something.Oh wait did she just hear her name?!Approaching the person, the blonde grinned when she noticed how tried to accio her.Little firstie baby Alicica.Approaching on her tip toes the Slytherin tipped her friend on the shoulder."I guess you actually can accio people",Fee laughed a little.

"Holy Cow..." She squeaked and jumped slightly when Fee tipped her on the shoulder. She directly turned back and saw Fee. "Oh My Goshh..." Her eyes widened in all of a sudden. She stared at her in disbelief. She was too naive to realize that Accio literally couldn't work on people. She was only 11 after all. An 11-year-old girl who had never stepped into a wizarding world before. "FEEEEEEEEE!" She hugged her. It had been quite a while that she hadn't seen her. The last time Alicia met her would probably be in Diagon Alley long before the school started. "You heard me!" She couldn't hold herself from chuckling.

Fee giggled when her friend jumped.Had she schocked the firstie?Oh well yeees creeping on from behind tapping in someones shoulder was shocking to that person."Ohh yeees i heard you",the blonde winked,"you are soo cool you can actually accio people."Of course you couldnt accio people but it was sooo funny that the Slytherin had appeared in the same moment ad Alicia wanted her to.Hugging her friend back the girl smiled down at the little one.She was soo cool and cute."What are you doing here all alone sweety?",Fee asked wondering if the Gryffie had gotten lost or was just wandering around.

She just laughed, finding out about how 'dumb' she was. Oh course she could never accio people. Ok, she knew that apparently. She stuck her tongue to Fee. "You may never know, Fee. I've a power to accio someone. Sadly my wand has chosen you to be accioed by me." She laughed as she talked nonsense. "I'm hungryyyy!" She rubbed her tummy as she spoke. "I checked Great Hall, and it has turned into study room. No food served on the table anymore." Her mouth twisted into a grimace. "And I can't study when I'm hungry." She giggled. She was just good at making excuses not to study. "So what are you doing, Fee?" She wiggled her eyebrows. "Stalking someone?" She winked and her smile had turned into a laugh now.
