Stryker has changed a large potion of the lake into a sheet of ice suitable for skating on. He has also set up some tall boards around the outer edge of the ice, so as to prevent people from falling off and into the water.

So, bring your skates and your friends! Don't know how to skate? That's okay! Mr. Stryker can give you hand or perhaps one of your friends. Come on down!

Phew, change of subject to Quidditch, something he actually did have some skills in. "Yeah I did. You're talking to the Slytherin beater now my lady." he grinned and wiggled his eyebrows like the villain that he was.

Ellie noticed Alex look back and forth between Hyun and herself with a certain look on his face... she couldn't put her finger on it.

Wait, "back at you"? Ellie turned to Hyun. "Wait you made the team too? That's awesome! Sheesh, no one told her anything! Nonetheless, Ellie was happy for her buddies. -Grin-

Ellie raised a skeptical eyebrow at Alex. "Well then, sir, if you're so good why don't you put on those fancy skates of yours and show me?" She suggested with a devious look on her face.

Ellie laughed a little when Hyun punched the air. She was glad she didn't have to play against them. She'd be a bit worried about her safety.

"Oooorr, we could all go together on the ice? Y'know since you two are both so great at ice skating and all..." She winked at Hyun. Riighhht. Then again it wasn't like Ellie was a professional either. In fact, she sucked.

"Definitely, we have to win the Quidditch Cup from them this year." he smirked. He still couldn't believe that the Puffs held the Quidditch Cup... What was up with that? That needed to be changed. Soon.

Hmm. Ice skating. Neptune had nagged him to go down wit her. So here he was. Lugging these heavy skating shoes down to the lake with her. "I better not fall over." He laughed, as he glanced down at her. Finn had skated a few times, with his little sisters, and he really hadn't been that good. But then nobody had been there to laugh at him. It would be embarrassing if he fell over in front of everyone, because well they would probably all laugh at him.

"Have you skated before Tune?" He asked, as he came to a halt near where the lake had been turned into ice. Now they just needed to change into their skates, and they were totally all ready to go.

Ellie ran towards Hyun on the ice and immediatley slipped and fell on her but next to him. Great planning, Ellie. And Ravenclaw's were supposed to be smart? Ohh yeah. That would leave a good bruise.

Alex exchanged a look with Hyun, whyy was he looking at him like that. Alex shifted his weight and glanced down at his skates before looking up at Hyun again. Did he notice anything? Did he?! Hopefully not.

"Of course, we're... Friends." he smiled at Ellie. Friends? Is that what they were now? Just friends? Ugh, just ugh. Then he watched as Hyun made it out on the ice and fell over.

Of course, being the Snake that he was Alex started to laugh. Because A, it was funny watchin people fall and B, perhaps he hadn't laughed that hard if Ellie hadn't run so fast to Hyun after the fall.

Worrywart, he thought a bit grumpy before Ellie also fell over. What was going oon? He chuckled and went to give them both a helping hand before-

BAM!

He fell.

Alex fell on top of Ellie and Hyun and dropped his skates so the ended up somewhere across the rink.

"So whats been up in your world Partner in crime?" Katie asked as she looked down at her ring which was still in the same place as her boyfriend slash soul mate Lukey had putten it on, her ring finger, Katie remembered when she got it, it was so romantic, but anyway, she would tell her partner in crime if she asked, ad besides, most people would go RING! and have a look.

Alex~~bear~~ looked at the wrapped gift Emma held in her hands. "Happy birthday? But... It's December." he laughed. His birthday had been last month... Oh well, it wasn't like he was going to say no to a present. After all, he wasn't stupid ~~contrary to popular beliefs~~

"What have you been up to?" he grinned taking the present from Emma. It wasn't a bomb or something right?

The blonde smirked as Alex rolled his eyes. Oh dear... She beamed him a smile. Ice skating was going to be fun. She gave Alex a quizzical look. "You've never been ice skating before, partner?" she asked.

She smiled as he closed his eyes and then opened them. Muhahaha.. She would be a supreme ruler in NO TIME!! Tehee. She was so excited for him to open it. Smiling innocently. "I know its December. But I feel bad that I missed your birthday... when I was... unconscious." she explained. She still felt bad about it. "So are you going to open it?" she exclaimed. She had spent a long time picking the present out and wrapping it neatly. Emma really hoped Alex liked it. He really did need this.

"Well.... Meeting more people! Oh, I'm going to learn how to play football! Isn't that cool!? I've never played it before. What else, hanging out with Sel, meeting some new people, girl talks with Fee, having an awesome time with my partner in crime, classes, and more Quidditch. What's up in the world of Alex" she began and then whispered softly so only he could hear. "Bear?"

"Homework, lots of homework, oh and Quidditch" Katie giggled, she hated homework but she wanted to get good grades, and how do you get good grades, homework, Katie knew that it was going to be hard to balance Homework and Quidditch, but Katie will have to do both. Katie blushed, Caroline had noticed the ring, like everyone, "I know right? And yes, Lukey gave it to me, it was his mothers ring, she said to Lukey that you can give it to someone special" Katie paused as she looked up to the sky "and he chose me"

She smiled while looking around at students doing twirls and skating like true naturals. It was going to be hard to fit in. "Hopefully I won't brake any bones or Crack my head or bleed..." Nika shuddered thinking about that fall she took in Care of Magical Creatures class. Not fun. Nika brought her attention back to emily. "So do you have your own skates? I never knew that I should have brought some with me. I thought that we were just going to learn magic. I had no idea what fun Hogwarts would be." Nika looked down at her little cozy boots, "I really want to go, but I reckon I can't if I don't have the right type of shoes." Maybe they would provide shoes? If not it was alright, she could just stand there and watch her friends. Not a problem.

Alex grinned at Emma and shrugged, he might as well admit it. "No... I haven't." he chuckled. But that did not have to mean he would fall and break all his bones! Oh wait, yes it did.

If he was going to open it? Of coourse he would open it! He grinned and tore off the paper, mwha he was the present opener master! Alex opened the present and saw the watch that was inside. Hoooow did she know he needed this? Had she heard his father totally yelling at him for oversleeping all the time? Alex looked up at Emma and grinned widely. "Emma this is great!" he laughed and gave her a big ~~bear~~ hug. "I-You-How did you know?" he chuckled. Now perhaps he wouldn't be so late for the classes... Pfft, yeah right.

"Welll I have been chilling with my partner, gotten an amazing gift, getting the beater position, training some, hanging out with my friends that sort of thing." he winked at her.

Perhaps he should give up, he sighed and threw up his arms in the air. "Fine! You win! I'm horrible at it, I've never skated before and now I will fall and break all my cute tiny bones in my body." he cried out dramatically.

Carolne couldn't help but to be a little jealous, the ring was nice. She nodded yes, homework was the main thing for anyone at this time in the term. Awwww that was sweet, it was Luke's mums. "Awww thats sweet"

It's just like wearing normal shoes except you have to do the laces up in a weird way." she explained. This was one Muggle sport she was allowed to do. "And then we'll go onto the ice. And you can hold on to my hand.. for support of course." she added. Smooth Emma.... Oh wait.. bad idea.. He could pull them both onto the ground if he lost his balance. Oh wells.

The blonde watched excitedly as he opened it. She blushed as he gave her a big bear hug. She was ~~very~~.. no.. extremely glad that he liked it. "I'm glad you like it. Well remember when we were hanging out by the Pathways when term just started? Well we were both thinking about getting some dinner and I asked you what time it was, and you said that you didn't have a watch... Katie smiled, they had gone quiet, nothing to say, Katie noticed that something was up in her partner of crime's head... AND KATIE WILL FIND OUT! "I am sure one day your boyfriend will give you one" Katie said, she didn't say a name because she knew that Caroline didn't have a boyfriend, but since she was close to Katie it wouldn't be long until she did, because Katie was going to interdouce her to all the boys she knew that were single.

Satine pushed a stray purple strand of hair back behind her ear that must've fallen out when she ~~busted~~ slipped and fell gracefully. She laughed as he started skating backwards and decided to give it a try while talking to him...it was easier said then done..."Well, yes I know...but I'll make up for...I promise..." she said with a wink and a little brush of her hand on his upper arm...and she meant that. Birthdays were important to her. She was just fixing to answer his question when she lost her balance for a second and started falling gracefully..just before she lost all control she got her balance back and stopped her self quickly with a little pose..."I meant to do that..." she said laughing. "My birthday is in December..." she said as she slowly started skating again.
