He gave pause to all movement to help Arya up onto the bank before even thinking about following her. And once there, his first action was to go to his knees again and help her with her skates. It wasn't for any reason of thinking her incompetent, but simply that he wanted to.

She let her eyes flick up at him when he helped her with her skates, not bothered by his need to help her. When her skates were off, replaced with her shoes, she began to return the favor to him.

He was rather surprised by Arya's return of his gesture, but at the same time not. Fair was fair.

With a smile and the last lace undone, he returned his feet to the more stable soles of his boots. Gathering the skates in one hand, he wrapped his other arm around Arya's waist, giving her a one armed hug before starting back to the castle.

"Wow, You like bad girls!" She squeaked. "I'll take that as a compliment then." She stuck out her tongue at him and laughed. Rex seemed to be such a funny guy. Alicia actually felt comfortable to be around him. Or maybe Fee's and Alex's friends were all slightly mental, in a good way of course. Rex was fun to be around. "Oh, I can't believe he said that. Really? I mean, he surely has loads of problems with me." She nodded a couple of times and her eyes showed her certainty before she laughed again. Alicia almost burst into another laughter when Rex mentioned that she would never bully any student. And yet she felt ashamed to do so. "Thank you for saying that, Rex." She grinned. Apparently, she, of course never had had any thoughts to bully students, but she did love to prank people around her. She just couldn't help it. But she didn't tell Rex about it, because she thought that it was better for him to find out himself anyway. "It's greatly appreciated." She chuckled, began to say random stuff.

She realized that she wasn't in her skate shoes as she didn't plan to skate before. "Hold on... I'll have to grab my skate shoes first before I can skate." She told Rex. She withdrew her wand from her robe's pocket and cast a spell with full of confident. "ACCIO my skate shoes! please come please please.." She shouted as she flicked her wand. In fact she had never really succeeded on casting that spell. Once, she used this spell to get Fee and coincidentally she suddenly appeared right in front of her. What a day! So her skate shoes apparently didn't reach her. "whoops.." She rolled her eyes, felt embarrassed. "I'm so baaad at this.." Alicia confessed. "My skate shoes hate me." She sighed and giggled afterwards.

"OMG! I KNOW!! I KNOW RON WEASLEY! he was the king!" Alicia exclaimed in surprise. "Of course. I know them. They made it into Hogwarts History!" She added. "They were heros!" The good thing was she remembered most of everything she read from the Hogwarts History book, which was so not like her. She read it just the other day at the library. "But still, I have never seen Jason. Would love to meet him though! That blonde guy." She grinned. "I've never known who my grandparents are. My parents never told me anything. I was raised like a muggleborn! Which was surprisingly retarded. They never let me use magic." She confessed. "There must be something behind this.. I need to find out.." She said, still trying to do the accio spell in between their conversation.

Helena smiled, then slightly nodded to what Viola said. "We really need all the help we can get," she giggled. Her face turned a bit pink. "I mean... I know I, at least, really need help." Uh she was terrible. Just constantly falling.

Levi glanced apprehensively at the frozen lake, trying to stifle a gulp. He couldn't believe he had promised to take his new friend skating. He couldn't remember the last time he had went himself. He must have been nine or ten or perhaps even younger. Even at that point, he hadn't been the most coordinated kid. He could vaguely remember crashing into other skaters back then. Hopefully, he wouldn't make too much of an idiot out of himself in front of Cass.

He really did like her. He was willing to fall his butt a few times if it meant they would have fun together.

"Fee can be a bad girl, too, so I cannot day I do not like bad girls" Rex told Alicia."Watch that toungue young lady, do you want the tickle mosster to come and get you" Rex asked Alicia."Well maybe does not know the real Alicia like I do" Rex explained to Alicia." I have good feelings about you" Rex said to Alicia.
" Your skateshoes do not hate you silly" Rex laughed."Everything will work out fine" Rex smiled.Try over and over again to you get your skates" Rex pleaed with Alicia." You can do it" Rex called out.
"All Jason's famiy had been heroes even his father Hugo Weasely, his mother Orinda (Evans) Weasley and Jason himslf." Ok, you will be meeting Jason" he said to Alicia."I am muggleborn, too" he smiled.

Cass rushed to the part of the lake that the groundskeeper had taken to freezing and cordoning off as a skating rink.

She was late, she was never late! But she had been fussing over what to wear! Not that he would notice, but still, she takes pride in looking good. As Lyra would wisely say, 'Why look bad, when you can look good?'

When she finally reached it, she took a deep breath and looked around, instantly spotting him among the other people. She tapped him on the shoulder lightly and said with a smile "Hey, ready to go skating?" She was pretty sure her faced was flushed from all the running, but she didn't care, she had been looking forward to this.

Levi was watching other students glide across the lake. A few of them were even spinning in the air and backtracking. God, they made it look so easy. He couldn't picture himself attempting to move like that. It seemed like skating and quidditch were equally as hard for him. He almost managed to collide into a bush or another person somehow. Still, Levi wasn't too bad at muggle sports like football and basketball.

The Gryffindor jumped slightly as somebody tapped him on the shoulder. He soon smiled in relief when he saw that it was only Cass. He tried to play it casual, although he was feeling a bit foolish. Who else would it have been anyway? He shouldn't have been so stunned but she still had that affect on him.

"Hey!" Levi answered brightly. "Yeah, I guess I am. How have you been, Cass?" He glanced down at his ragged coat, feeling a little under-dressed. Cass, on the other hand, looked really cute. She could have worn a potato sack and he still would have thought she was pretty.

"You look, uh, nice..." he added shyly.

Cass smiled shyly. She didn't know why she always felt shy around Levi, but she did...

"I've been great" She answered as she idly played with the lining of her gloves "Busy with classes and all that..." No need to tell him the confusing business with Brodie... "How about you?"

Then when he added that she looked nice, she blushed a light pink and smiled "Thank you."

Levi nodded. "Aren't the classes such a drag? I swear, History of Magic always puts me to sleep..." he remarked, rolling his eyes. That was probably his least favorite class and he always hated studying for it. It seemed to eat up the valuable time he could spend drawing...or hanging out with Cass. Both activities were miles more appealing.

"Anyway, that's good that you're....good." Levi paused, lifting an eyebrow in amusement. "Wow, that was corny." He smiled weakly and shook his head. "I've been the same. Trying to keep up with the tons of homework--you know, fun stuff..."

He glanced over at the lake again, feeling a little less nervous. "Ready to watch me fall over?" He grinned, motioning towards the ice. "Ladies first..."

She smiled to him just feeling so...safe and cmfortable around him that all she could do is smile at him as she held his hand gliding along the ice with him. "You know whenever I am around you I just feel so safe and like I have nothing to worry about. And it's nice to get away from drama in this school you know what I mean?"

"Ahh Fee.. I miss her. Hope to bump into that bad girl sometime here around the castle!" She said. It had reminded Alicia of her first meeting with Fee when Alicia bumped into her for the first time at Madame Malkin's before the term started. She was trying so hard to behave politely in front of Fee. Now, not anymore. "Naah... No tickling please!" She stepped backward, not letting Rex tickle her. She was very ticklish and she disliked it when people tickled her, although she did love tickle others who were as ticklish as her.

"Thanks for having good feelings about me." She giggled and stuck her tongue mischievously at him once more. She nodded as Rex told her that she could do the ACCIO spell. "Yes of course.. I could accio people twice. Probably I could only ACCIO people!" She gasped. "That's weird." She frowned, then burst into laughter. "Alright, let me try again. Hope you're patient enough to wait for me." She gave him her best angelic smile. "ACCIO ICE CREAM!" She flicked her wand and shouted suddenly. Then again, nothing happened. "ACCIO CHOCOLATE MUFFINS!!" She shouted, tried again. FROM GRYFFINDOR TABLE!!" She added. Two pieces of chocolate muffins flew toward her. She swung her hands forward to catch them before they reached the ground. "OMG!! I did it. Not my skate shoes.. But muffins." Alicia rolled her eyes but her face looked much much happier now. "Want some?" She smiled, offering Rex one of her chocolate muffins.

Alicia was mortified to hear that all Jason's family had been heroes, gave her a thought that she might also have this kind of hero blood. Alicia was still part of Weasleys anyway, she thought. "Where could I meet him??" She asked enthusiastically as she took a bite of her muffin.

"I'm not.." She chuckled. "But I was 99 percents treated as muggle in my house. That doesn't make any difference right?" She stuck her tongue out at him once again.

" I think Fee is doing a lot of homework" Rex told Alicia. " Be good, no tickling" Rex laughed." You are in big trouble young girl sticking out your tounge out at me again: Rex teased her."Seems like you got something right" Rex explained to Alicia. " Yes, I would love the chocolate muffinns" Rex smiled. " You can meet Jason at his castle" he told Alicia. " A friend is Aa friend to me, no matter what their blood happens to be becaue of my upbringing" he explained to Alicia.

"Fee???" Alicia's eyes went wide suddenly and laughed at the same time. "She is doing homework???" She asked in surprise. "Are we talking about the same Fee here or...?" She rolled her eyes and started giggling again. She thought that Fee only liked to shop and of course, her other favourite thing, glitters. Alicia could just call her the glitter girl. She took another bite of her chocolate muffin. "It's yummy!" She yelped. "Food at Hogwarts is marvelous!" Alicia gave him a very cheerful smile. She was always happy when she had chocolates with her.

"So, HE LIVES IN THE CASTLE???!! Which castle are you talking about??" Her eyes went wide again.

Waiting for Rex to give her an explanation, she tried the spell again. "ACCIO. ACCIO my skate shoes!" She was concentrating this time. She looked up to the sky, looked around the area as her skate shoes could show up any minute now. "Sheessshhh.. Look at that. a UFO is comingg... Watch out!" She shouted at Rex as she bent her knee down slightly and covered her head with her hands, just in case the shoes arrived and attacked her head.

" Yes, Fee actually does homework, but she is a shopaholic and as I call her " Miss Glitter Girl" Rex told Alicia. "Did you know she loves to glitter my hair and she calls me " Glitter Boy" Rex said to Alicia." The muffins are delicious" rex agreed with Alicia. " Jason owns his castle, his grandparents gave it to him because he fougt the deatheaters and re-captured La Quidditch which is out in the countryside" Rex explained to Alicia.
"What are you trying to do with those ice-skates?' Rex asked Alicia smiling.. " I guess I better duck, too" Rex laughed..

Cass placed a mock expression of hurt on her face when he mentioned not liking History of Magic, which by the way is her fave subject... right above potions.

"I happen to like History of Magic." She said with a slight frown. Then she wiped the frown off her face and smiled "But, I agree with you on the homework thing."

SHE WAS ACTING SO BIPOLAR. CASS, GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF.

Then she smiled when he gestured to the ice. Yay! Skating time! "Alright. could you give me a minute?" She said as she sat down on the grass, removed the flats that she had been wearing, shrunk them to fit inside her pocket, took out her skates, restored them to their original size, then placed them on her small feet. Then she stood up, gripped on the side of the lake, where the grounds keeper had oh-so-thoughtfully placed railings and balanced herself on the ice. When she had finally done so, she held out her hands for Levi's with a bight smile on her face "Come on, I won't let you fall. Just hold on to me."

As spring edges closer, remnants of winter are starting to disappear. The ice rink melts away and returns as part of the lake.
