"Sounds like a plan. It doesnt count as a sport because its all frilly. I dont see people playing football is tootoos. Do you?" She asked her eyebrow raised. So not a sport. "I like Ice skating and all, but still."

"Well I thought I was, but it looks like he isn't coming" Ronnie said disappointed. She missed him so much, and they were even in the same house! She could see him in the common room whenever she wanted, but at the same time they seemed to always miss each other in the passings. "But I'm sure I'll see him later. Tell me about your dancing!" She told him as she took off around the rink gliding from one foot to the other gracefully, not falling as she rounded the corner this time.

"Yeah I love Quidditch!" Ava Jade replied. "I'm not on the Hufflepuff team because I just don't have time, but I play ALL the time with my friends." Answering Caroline's second question, she continued, "Yeah, I have three siblings, two brothers and a sister. They love playing Quidditch with me too, usually, although I have to admit I'm better at it. I just like it more than they do. But it's kind of a family thing to learn how to play; we have a lot of...well, sort of 'family traditions'..." She made a face. She'd never been too big a fan of tradition...

" I think you would make a great Elton John at the High Tea" Rex told Anna, " Ice Skating is frilly for girls, but I guess it could be frilly for boys. too" Rex said to Anna. Oh, I thought I saw football players in too-tood" Rex laughed." Well, I guess you have the right to say Ice-Skating is not a sport as I believe soccer or golf are not sports" Rex explained to Anna,

" If I knew who you were looking for, I would help find him for you" rex explained to Ronnie." Well, I hope you see him real fast" Rex told Ronnie." I enjoy teaching my freinds at HogWarts to dance and they tell me I am good and they can dance better" Rex told ronnie. " I plan to open a dance studio after I graduate this term" Rex said to Ronnie. " Way to go on the skating" Rex called out to Ronnie.

"Soccer is a sport. Golf not so much but soccer will always be a sport! Thank you very much!" Anna explained in mock horror. "Is golf even considered a sport?" She asked curiously. It shoulder be she though it wasn't very competitive or anything. More boring really.

" Looks like we will just have to agree on disagreeing on soccer being a sport" Rex smiled." We both agree on golf not being a sport" Rex told Anna. "So if you did go to the Hight Tea. what English character would you go as in costume?" Rex asked Anna.

"I know! I have been really busy with studying and stuff." Meredith smiled at Rex. Meredith then laughed. "You are kidding, right? I have never ice skated in my life! I am expecting that i will fall flat on my face" Meredith giggled

" Well, I hope you are doing well in your studies" Rex told Meredith." Well, I never ice-skated in my life, either" Rex said to Meredith. " Act like the cancer you are and you will be good at ice-skating" Rex explained to Meredith.

Hugo scribbled on the ice. It went better since Fee taught him how to skate, but he still couldn't do it. BAM! He fell. Getting up, he felt he soar in his head. Ouch!

Anna saw the familiar face and how he fell. She skated over and looked down. "You okay" She offered her hand to help her up. "Haven't seen you around in a while. Hows life?" She smiled at him. "Still have the notebook?"

"Soccer has a world cup okay! It qualifies. And its the ONLY sport I can do!" she laughed. "I don't know what I would have been." she wasn't creative and didn't know about enough of the British wizarding world to do anything special "Queen Marry of Scots was originally from England wasn't she?" She liked her. Innocent really from what she thought.

" Football has A Super Bowl and I can teach you to play football" Rex told Anna." Come on, just for me, think of a British character or you will not be able to see me in my Robin Hood tights" Rex laughed. " I think all the Queens were originally from Britain, well most of them that lived in Great Britain" Rex explained to Anna. " Ok, You told me, thank you" Rex bowed in front of Anna.

"No you cant. Many a gym teacher has failed. Um...A knight of the round table! That's it! That's what I'd have been." She said "All I would have had to do was wear some tin cans!" It was a success. Like her skating. She was getting minutely better! She could do circles!

"I will never give up teaching any student especially you" Rex told Anna. "Fantastic! Maybe we should see if the high tea is still going on and come in our costumes" Rex said to Anna. "Well we will both be in tights" Rex laughed.

Here she was, for the second time.

This time was different, though. Helena was even more afraid to skate. But she'll eventually have to confront her fear, right?

Holding her new skates in one hand, she slowly approached the frozen part of the lake. She kind of put just one foot on the ice, as if she was trying to figure out if it was going to break or not. And yes, she looked... funny. Doing that.

Maddie tied up her skates and stepped tentatively onto the lake. There was a pond on the Estate that froze over every winter, but she'd only skated on it once or twice. Hopefully she wouldn't fall over and make an idiot of herself in front of all these people. That would just be awful - especially on her first day back at school!

Holding her arms out wide on either side of her body to keep her balance, she slid one foot in front of the other. And then the other foot. And then the next one. She was doing it! Granted, she was slow, but she was doing it! She looked around for anyone she knew, wondering if they could perhaps skate together...

" I know you can skate" Rex told the scared girl. " I just started and I sm not too bad at ice-dating" Rex said to the girl. Rex almost slipped, but did not. " Ok, so I am not perfect' Rex laughed. " My name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to her.

" Hi Madddie" Rex called out. " Long time. no see" Rex told Maddie. " Lppks like you can handle skating well" Rex said to Maddie. " I am a first timer and I can stand up on my feet most of the time' Rex explained to Maddie.

Arya skipped out to the partially frozen lake, ahead of Sabel who was walking just a bit too slow for her who was extra excited. She was a bit hesitant to have him skating what with his clumsiness and that story he'd told her a few years ago, but he'd convinced her and now she was uber excited to go skating with him.

"I can't even believe the ice is still out here." It was almost spring. But then again the lake didn't freeze naturally. Picking a spot by the lake, she sat down and slipped her shoes off.

For once, he wasn't questioning the wiseness of his decision to do something that usually ended up with him on his rear. He was simply enjoying the walk to the lake, a grin plastered on his face as he watched Arya buzz about with excitement ahead. Part of his slow lingering was in hesitation to try out skating despite his excitement to do it, and the other was so he could watch Arya. There was no need to rush any moment he shared with her.

When he did finally reach her, he plopped his skates in the snow beside her before squatting in front of her. "Ah give it another week. Don't want the memories of winter to slip away too quickly, do we?" Picking up her feet, he rested them on top of his thighs so that they wouldn't get wet. It was then a process of putting the skates on without slashing himself open and tying them up all snugly for her.

Huh?

Helena looked around the moment she heard a voice, not expecting anyone at all. And this voice was new to her. She noticed it was a Gryffindor boy, clearly older then her. She had seen him around, but never knew his name. "I wouldn't be so sure," she giggled. Ohhh no. She was terrible at skating.

But then... he almost slipped. "Be careful," she said, but didn't do anything though. She was too tiny to help, but fortunately, he didn't fall. "Nice to meet you, Rex. I'm Helena."

"Who says they have to slip away?" She teased almost cryptically. Watching as he picked up her feet, she almost giggled as he began to put her skates on for her and tying them. Reaching into her Mokeskin pouch, she pulled out the camera she'd gotten a few years ago, and waved it at him with a grin. "I'm gonna take a few pictures so we'll never forget the memories of winter."

Or the memories of their last term together. Plus she was working on stuff and needed pictures to finish it. She wiggled her toes inside the boot of her white skates.

Instant-flinch-and-duck. First and foremost safety precaution reaction when there was a camera suddenly revealed. Except perhaps no longer really of safety when two sharp skates were directly in front of his face and duck path. Thankfully, common sense had him halted at the flinch, which turned to more of a wince as he tied one of her laces. "If you insist."

A peak at her from one eye had the smile returning. "My mental memory and replay reel is quite good." Because forgetting this year, forgetting this winter, was never going to happen. Ever. "But I suppose slipping away was a bad term to use." Tying up the last lace, he rested his arms across her ankles, careful to keep his body away from the blades. "They feel good?"

"I do." She grinned. Really, it would be a shame not to have any pictures of him, or of them, while they were at Hogwarts. Not that she didn't have any, just none of them ice skating. "You can't hold a mental memory, or keep it on a book shelf. But I knew what you meant." She doubted that either of them would forget this term, or any term for that matter.

Resisting the urge to wiggle her feet or tap them together, she instead wiggled her toes again and nodded her head, eyes going back to him. "They feel good. Thank you." She smiled at him. He was SO SWEET for doing this, though she wasn't gonna let him do it all the time. Couldn't have him doing everything for her now could she?

"Well, mental memories are warmer than a glossy piece of paper." Sabel mused, giving Arya a wink as he patted her ankles. "Alright then, off you go. I'm not following with my boots so I kinda need my lap back."

With a grin, he gently set her feet back on the ground before shifting to sit beside her, drawing off his own boots and working to get his skates on.

Kyle skated over to Rex, Helena, and Maddie.

"Hi guys" she smiled her eyes sparkling happily.

Carefully lifting her feet off of him, she grinned in response. True, mental memories were warmer, but she still wanted pictures. She needed pictures, specifically magical ones.

In a few steps she was on the ice and skating small circles. She didn't forget forget about him, nope. Skating back over to him putting on his own pictures, watched him for a moment before snapping a few pictures of him.
